In case anyone doesn’t know why Channing Tatum randomly showed up in “Deadpool & Wolverine” as Gambit:
Way back when the Fox X-Men universe was still in full swing, Tatum signed on to play Gambit in a movie. I believe he signed on after Gambit appeared in “X-Men Origins: Wolverine”. The project was stuck in development hell, then cancelled. So this was Ryan Reynolds’ tribute to the cancelled project and why Gambit believed he was born in the Void.
If you told me in middle school I'd have the hots for Channing Tatum and Hugh Jackman later in life I would probably run away from you but here we are
Nah, the best part of the movie is for me was when Wade and Logan met the rest of the survivors in the Void.
It’s so special especially when you’re a kid and was (is) obsessed with 2000ish superhero movies (For me it was: Blade, Fantastic Four, Ghost Rider, Hellboy, Catwoman and Spiderman the Sam Reid trilogy)
And learning that Channing Tatum really wanted to play Gambit for so long just like Ryan Reynolds wanted to play Deadpool for so long as well is the cherry on top.

While other superheros trying to catch up with each other, Channing Tatum was helping 92-year-old Stan Lee get off stage.

unpopular opinion, but gambit is a twunk and needs to be played by a twunk. channing tatum does NOT have the gambit look whatsoever
Hahahahahah!!! Look at his fake ass poster on eBay. What the hell is this even? So many questions. Recolored costumes? Head swaps of actors onto bodies of different actors from other X-Men movies? Tatum as Gambit!? Is Gambit even in this movie? Top it all off with a drawing of Apocalypse, instead of an image of him as he appears in the movie (ok, that’s fair), and you got this gem. I can see making fan posters for movies that don’t exist, but whats the point of making a poster for one that does? Gotta get that big eBay money, I guess.
