Chicken Fried Chicken

Oven Baked Chicken
This dish is enhanced by seasoning the chicken and searing it before baking.

Chicken Two Ways
On a day like today, when I can't pick, I've chosen to prepare both. Baked chicken is shown on the left, whereas Butter chicken is shown on the right (Makhan Murg).

Yakitori
Popular Japanese-style skewered chicken is known as yakitori. Yakitori, which is derived from the Japanese terms yaki (grill) and tori (chicken), literally translates as "grilled chicken" (chicken). The meat in yakitori is cut into bite-sized pieces (usually chicken).

Chicken Afritada
Choice of meat, cooked with carrots, potatoes, red and green bell peppers, and stewed in tomato sauce. Afritada is a traditional Filipino meal. It is a typical Filipino dinner that is typically served with white rice. Seafood can also be cooked with it.

Chicken Makhani (Indian Butter Chicken)
It was a delightful and mouth-watering dish, and because the sauce was made with a blend of cream and butter, it came to be known as "butter chicken." In terms of Indian cuisine, it is always my first pick.

Tuscan Herb Chicken and Linguine
This week, I'm making my new go-to pasta dish: Tuscan herb chicken over lemony linguine. Tossed with linguine and a dusting of Parmesan after being cooked in a lemony sauce with shallot, garlic, and chili flakes. Just one bite will convince you of why it has become my new favorite.

Chicken with Sour Cream Mustard Gravy
Creamy and comforting, this dish has all of the flavors I'm craving. Herb-rubbed roasted chicken topped with a delicious sour cream and mustard gravy. A side of tender butternut squash and potatoes seasoned with sage, rosemary, and thyme.

Fried Chicken with Orange Rosemary Sauce
Finding the best chicken dishes is something I do frequently. Naturally, those that are quick and simple, but also those that are just the most delectable chicken dinners, the kind that you want to prepare often.

Orange Chicken
A traditional dish from Chinese-American restaurants, orange chicken consists of crispy fried chicken mixed in a tangy, sticky citrus sauce. But, others would argue that if you've just ever ordered it for takeout or delivery, you've been losing out.
There is much to be said for the delicate balance of orange chicken prepared in the style of takeout when it is first removed from the pan. You simultaneously experience the crunch and the savoriness. But after 30 minutes, forget it. Just out of the pan, it tastes so much better. Thankfully, it's simpler than you may imagine to bring the staple of Chinese takeaway home.
"Food is everything we are. It's an extension of nationalist feeling, ethnic feeling, your personal history, your province, your region, your tribe, your grandma. It's inseparable from those from the get-go." - Anthony Bourdain

Creamy Chicken Congee topped with Bacon
Add bones for the most delicious congee. It's a cost-effective and environmentally friendly method of cooking, but I use it because the chicken congee I make with the bones is far superior. Congee can be made with just water and rice; nevertheless, many traditional meals around the world use the time-honored method of adding bones to dishes that don't necessarily call for them.

Sesame Ginger Garlic Chicken
In the past, I had conflicting emotions regarding skinless, boneless chicken breast. I'm aware that many people consider it to be the simplest, most approachable cut of chicken to prepare, but I've witnessed it go horribly wrong far too often to concur. It is challenging to cook properly because of the irregular thickness and shape; by the time the thickest part's core is fully done, the other portions are overcooked. Additionally, without the bones to protect it from direct heat and the skin to keep it moist as it cooks, the meat is extremely susceptible to drying out. But you can easily overcome the drawbacks of skinless, boneless chicken breasts. Bring them to a flat, even thickness by pounding. It becomes a "paillard" once it has been pounded. It cooks amazingly.
Serve with roasted sweet potatoes and zucchini on the side for welcome pops of color.
“Good food is very often, even most often, simple food.” ― Anthony Bourdain

Rotisserie Chicken
Are you experiencing one of those days where you're feeling worn out but also realize that you still need to prepare dinner, which only adds to your sense of overwhelm? On those days, which I experience as well, I head to the nearby grocery store and buy some rotisserie chicken. All I need to finish off my meal is some steam rice and some roasted vegetables. Additionally, I love using the leftovers on some of my semi homemade dishes, and it's also really affordable at $6.99.

Mexican Chicken Stew
Mexican Chicken Stew
I credit Dave Lieberman of the Food Network with inspiring me to make this version of Mexican chicken stew. This tasty, filling, and quick Mexican chicken stew is so easy to prepare. It's a favorite for busy evenings and tastes great. I like to play around with different recipes that use rotisserie chicken, but you can cook and shred your own chicken if you'd rather. I prefer chunks over shredded. The tender, shredded rotisserie chicken adds to the stew's deep, flavorful flavors.
FYI. You will notice that i made some minor changes like I prefer chunks of meat over shredded.
