1, 4, & oh crap, I forgot the number already 🤣 16??

1. Tell us about your current project(s)  – what’s it about, how’s progress, what do you love most about it?

Answered hereĀ But since I have new ideas popping into my head every other minute I’ll share another:

College Soccer Team AU. Here’s a snip from my jumbled ideas Google Doc for this one LOL don’t judge me.

Anyway so start of Junior year beth goes to the weight room EARLY like at 5 am before anyone else.Ā  Cuz of course she does. And she wants to prove herself as a young captain. WHo is always there also but Rio. She avoids him like the plague but of course they always steal glances at the other while they workout. Whenever Beth does squats with dumbbells Rio is mesmerized by her thighs and ass. Whenever Rio bench presses Beth nearly drools. So it all comes to a head when beth gets so fed up with the rudeness of the male team that she challenges them to a game. Classic girls v boys

4. Share a sentence or paragraph from your writing that you’re really proud of (explain why, if you like)

Answered here and here.Ā

16. Tried anything new with your writing lately? (style, POV, genre, fandom?)

I suppose my latest one shotĀ ā€œEarned Itā€ is different because it’s a fetish centered fic - spanking. And I’ve never focused so intently on one kink before. It really made me blush writing it, ngl.Ā

ADHD competitiveness…

IDK about you guys but I cannot focus on ANY task in school or pretty much otherwise unless I’m competing. I don’t know if this is just my personality or if it is an aspect of ADHD but I guess this could be a strength/tip in some way.

If you are struggling with executive disorder, make it a competition! I swear, it really does work at least 85% of the time. Give it a try!

Comment/reblog your thoughts and personal take on this please, I’m curious about your opinions!

Bad Season 4 Luck Already

1 second after Season 4 launched. I click to play. Usual skirmish. Got a game. Good mic peeps, high level players on our side, even a group. We start and immediately get a team kill and capture the point. But then someone from the other team leaves. Match is cancelled? We can’t even comprehend before we say good bye. I get on again. The exact same thing happens, good team and everything. Friend invites me to a custom game and I take a break. Get on again. I am paired with level 25 or below players. Both teams suck. We end up loosing. I have terrible anger management and am extremely pissed. My first placment match ladies and gents. I’m not getting on again till tomorrow.

The competition thing is amazing, both of them! So how about a the same thing but for ether love or sibling rights with sitri, eita, nobuharu and maybe Robinson with MC5. If that's ok.(mostly cause they all have a crush on the MC anyway šŸ˜…)

Sibling Rivalry

~You were starting to regret stepping outside with each passing day with the amount of conflicts that were cropping up. One after another you just can’t escape these. Somehow or another you managed to run into Eita, Sitri, Robinson, AND Nobuharu in succession. While you proposed you all hang out they agreed but needed to get one matter out of the way: Which one would be able to call you Big Brother? You first shook your head with disbelief and said why they all couldn’t just call you that?

ā€œNope, it’s not the same if we all do.ā€ Sitri explained. What could possibly be so different?

ā€œIt’s… sort of like an oath.ā€ Nobuharu continued. ā€œThe one who gets to call you ā€œBig Brotherā€ makes a promise to remain by your side.ā€ Come again?

ā€œIt’s true!ā€ Robinson exclaimed. ā€œWe swear to protect you when we’re all a little stronger to do so, like how you always do for us.ā€ How exactly was that fair? Don’t you get a say in all this?

ā€œā€™Course you do. You get to decide which one of us you swear your oath to!ā€ Eita laughed. Where was the fairness again?

ā€œD-Don’t get the wrong idea. We’ll still be there, but which one of us you pick will be by your side as often as we can.ā€ Sitri fumbled out. ā€œIt’s not like we’re turning on each other. We all just… wanna see you well and happy.ā€

Nobuharu nodded. ā€œWe can decide on what to do after. It’s just been… a thing we’ve been arguing about.ā€

~Your younger classmates had you beat. There really was not a way you could weasel your way out of this one. Weirdly enough your younger peers were acting much more calm than how your teammates acted the other day. You crossed your arms and you took a moment to think. You didn’t want to pick favorites but they did deserve an answer… You breathed in and out and agreed to spill which they all listened intently to.

On being competitive

I like to think one of the things I love about myself is my competitive attitude about things. But i haven’t seen any posts (that i know of) that talk about this, which is why i decided to give some pointers for those of you who want to have this attitude but don’t wanna go overboard :)

Know yourself.

You can’t go in a battle without knowing which sword and armor fits you. You have to know your strengths and weaknesses, you have to know your weak spots so your opponent can never reach them.

Ā Sit with yourself and find out:

Ā what are things you do over and over again and never go wrong with it. These are your strengths

What are things you hate doing because you never can do it right,no matter how much you try. These are your weaknesses.

Know your game.

You gotta know what kind of battle this is to use the proper tools and face the right opponents, you can’t go to a hardcore master final battle if you’re a beginner!! Don’t play yourself, find a game that challenges you realistically, one with players your own size.Ā

Notice how i keep saying Game. Because this isn’t a race, there is no clock counting the seconds.Ā

Know your opponents

As stated above, you can’t fight off someone twice your age or height. Seriously, don’t do it. Being competitive is watching someone and thinkingĀ ā€œWhat can i do to be the same level as them or higher?ā€ This is why you can’t look at a 40 year old man who had 15+ years of experience, because when you too had the same amount of years, the man will be 15 years ahead, and so on.

Now the opponent can be someone other than a regular person: it can be yourself.Ā  Yup, you can work your way to the top by being better than your old self. Not your 6th grade self, but the one that’s always following you- your past 24 hour self.

Know your tools.

So you got the game, the opponent, and now you get the material. Obviously you can’t go empty handed. Find the right tools to get you started, ones that will help you build stronger steps. Are you the kind of person that always forgets to do stuff? work your time management so you wont be left behind. Do you not know what or how to do something? Look it up and experiment until you adjust the ways to suit your needs. Lastly, and this is an important one: Be smart about it. Don’t just work your body, work your mind. Always try to one-up your opponent with intelligence. Think Bugs Bunny, he’s always one-upping Elmer because he’s using his mind.

some more tips:

CompetitiveĀ  ≠ being an asshole. Just because you’re trying to be better than a person does not mean you have to hate the person. Hating a person means jealousy, and that’s not good. When the person asks for some help, more often than not they do need it. And who says you have to project the competitive attitude into talk? Let your work speak for you.

Not everyone is your mortal enemy. This is where people often mistake it for competitiveness. I repeat: being competitive is not a race. There’s no finish line, there’s an infinite amount of steps to build, and it’s okay if it’s with a friend. It’s more than okay to ask for some help, and definitely okay to help others.
