appreciation post for lofi song titles
probably one of my favourite things about lofi music beyond how helpful it is for doing projects and such are the titles. i don’t even know how to explain how i’d categorize them. just... look. they’re such a mood and i don’t even know why
“waking up at night to get some food.”
“no mail today”
“missinuuuu”
“I promised myself I wouldn't cry in the club rn”
“i spilled moonshine on my 404 and this came out”
“Gameboy in Traffic”
“service. []”
“[1night]”
“people”
“i wish i could sleep”
even the composers themselves have some wild names
“ihaveaface”
“jhfly”
“cbakl”
“Limes”
“j^p^n”
“mt. fugitive”
anyways thank you lofi artists for your calming and relatable music it always helps me focus on projects or relax while i draw
if anyone wants to listen to some lofi, this is my favourite source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hHW1oY26kxQ
feel free to add on with your fav titles/artists
Ok now that's totally fine to ask so:Due to his illness that can be closely linked to Asthma(or IS Asthma) Vivaldi can't perform mass without being out of breath every moment- And If I remembered Vivaldi kinda just quitted Priesthood and became the music director at the La Pieta, so pretty much a majority of his life, he wasn't even a priest(or I may be wrong)He also probs did not want Priesthood , I think that he was required to be one due to him being the oldest(which was apparently the norm)

But that's just all info I have rn! You should actually read some things about his life , He seems to have this sassy attitude that you might find interesting!
Do you have any favourite ships? Any media you're interested in or just duo that you enjoy the dynamic of!!
Ok I barely join some popular media they're more like the quiet ones sooo
So uhh Napolington -
I usually stick to one ship in a fandom and call it a day,but in the end Love is love and as long as it's not really problematic I'm fine,Like when I first joined the Napoleonic fandom I stayed with my pairs till this day and those pairs were..(It may be in order)
And these pairs were pure gambles :D aka
I assumed relationships in FANART😨😨😨(Thank you Amino)
•Napoleonic
-Lannes&Ney:I feel like this Pair isn't talk ABT often😔😔😔My only history with them is that they're the first Marshals I found and paired
-Bessimu:Ill tell you a silly story of how I may have shipped them but I like their contradicting personalities!(they're literally the "inside you are two wolves" meme)
....uhhh ok after some thoughts this ship is sort of my guilty pleasure.Like it's literally corroding my brain
-Massoult:OK GUYS HEAR ME OUT-
ok but genuinely I was relieved knowing they're relationship was pretty good (yk more support to the ship rather than just saying they both liked looting-)The letter from Massena also helped and I like imagining them interacting in my head which IM NOT TELLING YOU OR I WILL GET TAKEN TO THE PYSCHE WARD/but genuinely every knew irl or fannon interaction thats positive makes genuinely ecstatic and full of Dopamine(overall I like a tired grumpy man with a...tired...and old man idk)
-I have more actually it's just that I can't explain all since they did say"Media"so my generals but Classical music ig is next
{A ship I feel like my reasoning should just be kept since I'm on thin ice with this is Bethomoz,thank youu}
•Choliszt:Classic, literally unrequited love,I feel bad for Liszt ngl he seemed so genuinely sweet to Chopin (irl)and Chopin is just annoyed(from what I read)this is also the next ship you'll see in the fandom
Berlix- I heard somewhere Berlioz just casually calls Mendelssohn "Love" or something like that overall they seem quite nice for eachother that's all
Prokshos:I love them SM (Rns_williams drop another Prokshos fic and MY LIFE IS YOURS/SRS)I love the escalation from admiration to rivalry between them and even in the end Shosty still cared for Prokofiev:)
{Some rarepairs}
Vivaldi&Bach:They seem honestly so sweet for eachother.Bach's admiration for Vivaldi was so big he transcribed a handful of his concertos (And I think transcription is like a compliment since your spreading the work of an artist you think is great)Oh and look! They're blue and red what a twist
Paganini& Vivaldi: Literally those "AngelxDevil" gacha trope, They're also both Italians and from what I read Vivaldi was considered a Virtuoso before Paganini came in,Id like to see more stuff ABT them
Paganini &Mozart:Mostly a twist thing I genuinely don't hold that much love for it but I do find them funny and silly!
-Some other pairs(Pairs that I don't really think ABT but still pairs)
•Alberose(Genshin)
•Saintpierre(Frev)
•Saintmoulins(Frev)
•Robesmoulins(Frev)
•Madohomu(Madoka Magica)
•Zhongven(Genshin)
•Gakukai(Vocaloid)
•Skk(BSD)
•Shin Skk(BSD)
Anyways thats maybe all I can cram:,)✧・゚:❀✧・゚✧・゚:❀✧・゚Thank you to whoever asked ABT this!Maybe we can even talk further if anyone who saw this happened to have something to say!!!🌸🍓🫶🫶
-yours truly
Oh once again I'm sorry for unorganised and probably worng wording so if you want clarification pls tell me😭😭😭😭I'm scared I got something misunderstood
(ANYWAYS WHAT A TRIP THAT WAS AMIRIGHT????){pls laugh/j}
This is giving Franz Liszt-

Happy World Piano Day! 🎹 It's a day that falls on March 29th in 2022, or the 88th day of every year, to celebrate the full range of keys on the instrument!

The world knew him as "Blind Tom" Wiggins, a musical prodigy, one of the best-known American performing pianists of the 19th century.
Born in Harris County, Georgia, in 1849, to enslaved parents, because Tom was blind, he could not do the same work as others enslaved. Finding an interest and much talent in playing the piano at a young age, he composed his first tune by the age of five. And he was known to play all day. As one observer said about Tom - "I don't exaggerate when I say that he made the piano go from twelve hours out of twenty-four."
Tom performed worldwide, including at the U.S. White House, where it is believed he was the first African-American to perform, doing so when he was just eleven years old.

Franz Liszt was truly one of the men ever
- became a lifelong alcoholic to cope with his depression at about 16
- was proud of being Hungarian. Did not speak Hungarian
- Czerny thought young Liszt's playing was a mess (but fortunately saw potential in the kid)
- penned his academic/historical writings with truly extravagant purple prose
- was a Lord Byron fanboy and tried to steal his look
- was a fail dad who was too busy touring and being a sex object to take care of his 3 kids. essentially left them in the care of his relatives for the entirety of their childhood
- sure did look ratty as hell, like he was desperately in want of soap and a hairbrush
- was apparently hot enough to turn the heads of men as well as women. fans basically wanted his gamer boy bath water. Even in his old age some people were down horrendous for the gangly rat man
- wrote a whole book about his genuine appreciation of the Romani and their contributions to Hungarian music, yet also fell into romanticizing them as untamed transcendental musical geniuses
- was mocked by the press for making too much Expressions(TM) while playing the piano
- wrote "vibrato" on a piano score at one point
- alongside his original music, also wrote an impressive amount of what were basically impossible piano covers

Hello good people of Tumblr!
My name’s Aeryn, aka Raven, and I’m a writer.
But on top of that, I’m also a fangirl. The image above is of a fantastic book called “Heartless” by author Marissa Meyer, and it is the backstory of the famous character, the Queen of Hearts. This is such a good book, I utterly love it.
And like any normal human being...I wanna turn it into a musical.
I’ve actually been working on a screenplay version of the novel for a few months, and while it may not look like much immediately, I am putting a lot of thought on how to get this just right. Last October (2020) I attended a virtual meet and greet with Marissa Meyer, and brought up the work I wanted to do with the author herself. And much to my happiness, Marissa Meyer has said that she would love for there to be a Heartless musical--and who am I to pass up this encouragement???
Reason I’m making this post (finally XD): I can’t write music.
Lyrics, melody--I can’t do it, at least not well. I can determine what type of stuff I want to put in a song, but I can’t actually create it.
That’s why I need your help.
I want to work with a few composers and lyricists (amateurs and beginners are more than welcome, I just want help) to help me make this project. It would be more helpful if those who are selected were familiar with the subject matter (the book Heartless) or at least Marissa Meyer as an author, but I don’t mind debriefing if that’s what it comes to.
What you would receive for your work: I sadly, can’t pay anyone. And I know that whomps, but if this does make it big (I do intend to try and see if I can get it produced) or something, then payment might be discussed. For now though, you’ll receive full credit for whatever you produce, a cool and creative project to work on, and hell, if I can get this produced somewhere, full creative input (as always) on your entire area.
I know this is a lot of information, but this is something I’m very passionate about, and want to do very much. I’d rather work with people that want to do this for fun, or experience or anything like that, than pay some professional (most likely an adult and until December, I’m still a minor and that’d just be kinda awkward) to help me out just as a formality, if that makes sense?
If you’ve read this far, thank you so much for hanging around for so long, it really means a lot to me and I hope you consider my offer. :)
To contact me for anything regarding this project: my DMs on Tumblr are open, theballadoflmanburg@gmail.com (don’t ask about the name, I’ll explain later--), harpie_raven on Tik Tok (DMs open), Harpie_Raven#4120 on Discord.
TLDR: Hi! I wanna make a Heartless musical based off this book I read, but I don’t know how to write lyrics for, or make music at all, so I need some composers and lyricists to help me out! Info on contact above.
… Wait a minute…
If it sounds like the composer is trying to blast you with the orchestra until you're as deaf as he is, it's Beethoven.
If it sounds like the composer might be a vampire, it's Bach.
If it sounds like the composer is trying to set the violins on fire, it's Vivaldi.
@leggeteconme whenever I see someone badmouth Wagner, I think of you

Classical Composer's and their last words

Mozart: "The taste of death is upon my lips...I feel something, that is not of this earth"
Bach: "Don't cry for me, for I go where music is born"
Beethoven: "Pity, pity, too late!"
Mahler: "Mozart! Mozart!"
Chopin: "Now is my final agony. No more." (while listening to Mozart's Requiem)
Bartok: "The sad thing is that I leave with so much to say"
Berg: "But I have so little time"
