So i saw somebody make art of Starscream as a moth and something was awoken inside of me. I present Hollow Knight X Transformers BUGFORMERS!!!! (Or Hollowformers???) Sorry for the shitty sketches, i'll translate my handwriting lmao
Starscream: A Red-Underwing Moth I decided to make all the seekers different moths, have fun with that Megatron: A Black Stag Beetle His armor can be removed, I'll draw it eventually, but under his helmet are small (very sensitive!!!) antennae!!!
Optimus: A Rain Beetle I wanted to make him a dung beetle at first, cause I love the shape of scarab-like beetles but I wanted Bulkhead to be a dung beetle, so I picked my personal favorite type of beetle, the Rain Beetle! Bumblebee: A Bumble bee I think this is obvious.
Arcee: A Blue Dasher Dragonfly She's small, fierce, and fast. I knew a Dragonfly would fit her. Bulkhead: A Rainbow Dung Beetle Bulkhead is a strong, bulky guy, so a strong bulky bug fits him. But I didn't want him to be a plain dung beetle, so I went with the more beautiful, and intimidating type of dung beetle! And its sort of an iridescent green, like our bulky boi. (He also has a second pair of arms he keeps tucked between his armor plating for his safety, but he uses 'em when he needs extra leverage)
Ratchet: A Man-Faced Bug My friend insisted he'd be this kind of bug, and after looking it up, I agree. You can see his face in this bug and I love it. The runner up was a ladybug if you want to do anything with that. Drift: An Idolo mantis I wanted Drift to keep his sort of "intimidating with dexterity" vibes but add a bit more beauty to give that sweetness to his design you see in his character. An Idolo Mantis is that lovely mix of floral beauty and intimidating that I thought would fit perfectly for Drift.
Cyclonus: Spiky Flower Mantis Same deal with Cyclonus but more intimidating. I wanted him to look scary and powerful, but beautiful in an intimidating way, like how he is in the comics. Tailgate: Pill bug (Isopod) Round, sweet, adorable, and one of my favorite bugs. Very useful for the environment and durable, as well as huggable. I think it fits Tailgate pretty well.

[human!reader post includes: MTMTE rodimus, drift, and tailgate+cyclonus
None of these are going to be super super canon so bear with me. The Lost Light had made a stop at an organic-safe planet to pick up some supplies for you and explore around a little. However, everyone had to use their holo-forms as the planet was not very welcoming to cybertronians. You just so happen to read a poster of an upcoming party tonight and ask your robabe to help you get ready
MTMTE RODIMUS
Once you tell him about the event, he agrees to help you get ready and even asks if he could join you. I would be lying if I said he thought twice about it, he didn't.
The party is some kind of carnival taking place in the area you landed in, judging by the poster announcing it, it would be quite flashy and colorful. You go for some quick shopping at the local stores and Rodimus hands you anything you'll look good in (you get handed every article of clothing he likes, nothing matches btw)
you wanna try out outfits? He'll support every single one but gives his honest opinion when you ask for it, helping you decide on the final outfit
He helps you do your makeup and although you're the one doing most of the work, he's trying his best. So gentle while applying any makeup, he does not want to stab your eye or scratch you. Tends to get a little impatient but the results were so worth it, if you decide to go with colors that match his paint job he'll have a literal twinkle in his eye and a stupid grin on his face.
"How's that?" He backs away to stand beside you and admire his work. "Primus, you look really stunning."
HE IS YOUR BIGGEST FAN!!
Hyping you up the whole time. on his hands and knees. "Y/N your makeup looks amazing, that color looks so good on you, you're gonna kill it out there" He 100% suggests to roll down a red carpet for your entrance btw

idk man..i feel like he'd be good at providing advice on what looks good together and what you should wear
he WANTS to help you do your hair, makeup, etc. he asked before you could finish your sentence
Another one that would adore any type of matching color scheme,. If there's some type of theme for the ball/party he's gonna help you and somehow nail that theme, like, perfectly
Smooths out your clothes, gently adjusts your hair, then gives you a little kiss because wow you're glowing (is that the right word?)
Definitely the type to take you there with linked arms

Tailgate helps you with your hair, Cyclonus with your makeup, and they both help out with your outfit and any accessories.
Tailgate is absolutely gushing over you once you're ready, literally leaping up In the air and twirling!!
Cyclonus using that poetic rizz to call you beautiful, pretty, handsome, a wondrous depiction of existence at its zenith-
yeah you go with matching outfits. At the ball you manage to dance with the both of them, cyc more graceful and tailgate a little clumsy but you all got the hang of it. You all have fun
some extra bit, i think the idea of a ball/party would intrigue the two of them. Cyclonus would greatly admire the elegant part of it while Tailgate would absolutely come up with a bunch of themes and parties they could have on the lost light. Its def an excuse to help you get ready again btw, Cyc is totally discreetly in on it
since bringing mass murderer of incalculable lives Megatron on board the Lost Light was such a huge success, bringing mentally unstable ancient gladiator Galvatron on board will surely go just as well

Can we please get part two if you don’t mind.
Drift and Ratchet seeing him be approached by Cyclonus and Tailgate and they’re treating him like a sub and he’s melting from the touch enjoying it but his spark is still with drift and ratchet.
They zero in quick on Roddy and make up for thinking he was a dom and put him in a deep sub space.
They all talk about what happened
They didn't see Rodimus for a few days and when they tried calling him he didn't pick up.
Drift knew he messed up big time. He'd come on too strongly and had let his emotions get the best of him. But it had hurt seeing Roddy use them to hurt himself.
Although interfacing with him was pleasurable there was always this feeling of wrongness.
Ratchet didn't blame him. Although he was dissapointed he didn't stick to their plan of talking to him together.
They were both determined to speak with him. They went to Swerves because that was where he'd usually be during his time off.
When they got there they were shocked to find him curled up in Cyclonus and Tailgates lap. The two were talking and he could see Cyclonus rubbing his spoiler while Tailgate fed him.
Both of them felt jealous but they also noticed the way Rodimus relaxed against there touch letting himself get taken care of.
It was nothing like their usual interfacing sessions where Rodimus was tense and uncomfortable. He felt at ease and relaxed in a way they'd never seen him before, as he let them move him around and take care of him.
They both looked at each other at the same time when they realized what the problem was. Rodimus had been topping when he usually subbed, because he wanted to please them. He'd been destroying himself because he thought they wouldn't want him, which wasn't true at all.
They didn't care how he liked to interface. They loved him and wanted to be with him and to do that they need to be better. They should have seen the warning signs earlier. Especially when it was so obvious looking back at it.
They could have saved him so much grief and anxiety. As he forced himself to do something that made him uncomfortable. Worried they'd abandon him if he didn't.
They were coming up with ways to woo Rodimus. When Cyclonus came over and had a little chat with them.
Although they cared for Rodimus he obviously loved them and they wanted him to be happy. They needed to talk with him and reassure him. Making him feel safe again.
Both of them agreed and got to work finding a way to woo Rodimus and bring him back to their hab. It wasn't easy with him being weary and tense at first. Always looking uncomfortable in a way that hurt.
Slowly as they let him be himself. They watched as Rodimus relaxed becoming more like himself. Now that he didn't have to hide.
Eventually Rodimus was ready to interface with them again. All three of them had a long conversation before hand where they discussed everything. Going over things like safe words and making Rodimus feel safe and allowing him space to open up. There were a lot of tears and they still had a long way to go but they'd work on being better together.
Now that Rodimus was able to sub. He was happier and more confident in bed. When he came they were both left in awe because he was so beautiful.
Afterwards they gave him aftercare something he'd desperately needed. The two of them held him looking down at Roddy who felt like he was floating. Lost in a deep sub space he felt warm, comfortable and taken care of.
This time when they asked Rodimus if he wanted to stay the night he agreed. The three of them snuggled together and quickly fell asleep wrapped in each other's arms.
(Au where the Overlord thing didn't happen, and Rodimus is a lot more appreciated than he knows. I want Rodimus to be loved ok)
Rodimus finds out he's sparked and is terrified because he remembers of how tank carriers were treated back when he was growing up, but to his surprise most of the crew doesn't really care when they find out. Some are even openly supportive, Tailgate and Rewind especially seem interested in learning how to care for a sparkling. Who knows, maybe Rodimus isn't the only tank carrier on board.
I mean, some like Getaway probably still tries to make terrible comments but Cyclonus shuts that shit down pretty quickly.
"Rodimus?"
Soundwave called out in concern when he recieved no answer. Walking through their apartment he found Rodimus sitting on the floor crying while holding a positive test.
"Rodimus are you okay? What's wrong?"
His mate looked over with tears streaming down his face.
"I'm sparked."
He carefully hugged his crying mate while trying to soothe him.
"I'm scared they're going to hurt our sparkling."
His engine growled as he pulled Rodimus closer.
"I won't let them hurt you or our sparkling."
Rodimus shook his head giving him a panicked look.
"You won't be able to stop them there's too many of them."
He sobbed and Soundwave wrapped his arms around him.
"What do you want to do?"
"I don't know. I don't want to leave the Lost Light but soon it won't be safe."
Rodimus cried shaking in fear as memories flashed before him.
"I'm sorry Roddy."
He kissed his forehead and Rodimus cried himself to sleep.
Rodimus had been on edge ever since he learned he was sparked. The Lost Light which was once home now felt like he was trapped in a cage, with predators who had no problem killing them both.
He shivered and ended up running into Drift because he wasn't looking. His friend had a weird look on his face and then he gasped and hugged him in excitement.
"I can't believe you're sparked Roddy that's so exciting."
His friend hugged him as he jumped up and down with a large grin on his face.
He gave him a nervous look while trying to free himself.
"No I'm not. I have no idea what you are talking about."
"Do you not know?"
Drift gave him a worried look and started dragging him towards the medbay.
"No I know."
He managed to pull his hand away still looking nervous.
"Roddy what's wrong?"
"You're not disgusted?"
"Why would I be disgusted?"
Drift gave him a confused and worried look.
"Because I'm s tank carrier."
He gave him a look as though it should be obvious.
"Of course not."
His friend looked aghast.
"I would never let anything happen to you or the sparkling Roddy."
He nodded feeling tears fall and his friend hugged him as he sobbed.
"I'm sorry Rodimus. I remember how things used to be and I can only hope they're different now. I will always support you and I know Ratchet will as well. You don't need to be worried about having a medic give you checkups because Ratchet will do that for you."
"Thank you."
He felt a weight lift off his shoulders as Drift began talking about the sparkling and how excited he was. They also visited Ratchet in the medbay who checked him over and confirmed that he was sparked and that the sparkling was healthy.
They didn't look very big currently, but he knew they'd get a lot bigger in the next few months. Although having Ratchet and Drifts support was a relief he was still worried about the others.
After getting sick on shift Megatron and Ultra Magnus had learned the truth. They'd been worried about him for a while noticing his strange symptoms and tried to take him to Ratchet. Even though he told them he was fine they didn't believe him and he finally told them the truth.
They'd looked at him in a stunned silence and then they both hugged him. He sighed in relief as they promised to be there for him and support him. Both of them understanding his worries and promising to deal with anyone who was rude to him l, which was nice.
He began showing a lot sooner than expected and it wasn't long before the crew knew. Most were supportive especially Tailgate and Rewind who both asked him a lot of questions.
When he asked why they wanted to know they both looked embarrassed and implied that he wasn't the only tank carrier.
Things had been going well until Getaway started loudly talking about how disgusting and wrong he was.
It made him shrink back putting a protective hand on his belly and Soundwave stood up looking enraged and was about to teach him a lesson, when Cyclonus beat him to it.
"Shut up."
He snarled and punched him in the face. Everyone sat there stunned except for Whirl who cheered.
"Let's feed him to the scraplets!?"
Cyclonus turned away from Getaway and went over to him.
"Are you okay?"
He nodded and after that no one bothered him again and if they did say something they quickly learned the hard way that was a mistake.
He tucked himself against Soundwave's chest letting his mate rub his back soothingly.
"I'm glad everything worked out and that we don't have to leave."
"Me too."
He cuddled against Soundwave feeling at peace along with their sparkling who was happy their sire was there.
It wasn't long before he fell asleep wrapped in Soundwave's arms feeling safe and secure. Something he never thought he'd feel as a tank carrier.

You're a very physical bot- often disregarding personal space. Of course, your touches are innocent, but that doesn't stop the crew from each reacting in their own manner.
Megatron: W h a t. Poor bot doesn't know how to respond. You had grabbed Megatron's hips on either side and gently moved him without a second thought so you could get to the door, leaving the poor mech to wonder what just happened. Her touch starved aft was not expecting that, rendering him frozen in place for the next short while.
Ultra Magnus: You had wrapped your arms around his neck and pulled yourself up slightly to look over his shoulder while he worked, effectively catching him off guard. Would probably scold you and/or give you a lecture on "respecting people's personal space". Minimus on the other hand...
Minimus Ambus: For as much attention as he gets in his suit, he's still almost as touch starved as Megatron. He had asked you to grab something off a high shelf for him, and you happy obliged. What he didn't expect, however, was for you to place a firm servo on his shoulder as you got whatever he needed. He almost missed the moment you handed it to him, causing him to become flustered and mumble a quick "Thank you" before hurrying out of the room.
Cyclonus: Oof, even you know better than to touch him without permission. But one time, some bot decided it would be funny to jumpscare you, causing you to flee behind Cyclonus and wrap your arms around his torso. He shot you the absolute nastiest glare before you sheepishly let go. He'd never admit it, but he's flattered that you feel safe enough around him to look to him for protection.
