The south of Namibia is characterized by a low population, spectacular scenery and infinite spaces. This part of the country is surrounded by the red dunes of the Kalahari in the east, the Namib Naukluft Park and the oldest desert in the world in the west and the Fish River Canyon, Africa’s largest canyon, in the south. The main and only Harbour in the South is Lüderitz, which seems a bit rough, barren and almost comical, but precisely for this reason presents its self very attractive in the middle of the diamond restricted area.

Der wichtigste und einzige Hafen im Süden ist Lüderitz, der etwas rau, karg und fast komisch wirkt, sich aber gerade deshalb mitten im Diamantensperrgebiet sehr attraktiv präsentiert.
