Without you

A/N: the reader passed away a year ago and Dean has been struggling
Warning: death, sadness and grieve
Word count: 833 words It’s been a year. A whole year without you by his side. A whole year without hearing your laugh and seeing your beautiful smile. A whole year since Dean’s alone with your 10-year-old daughter Sophia. A whole year without you being Sophia’s mom and giving the best advices, making her smile and giggle.
A whole year without true happiness. A whole year since you’ve been dead.
You got diagnosed with a rare condition, no cure, no meds, no help, nothing. There was nothing the doctors or Dean could do to make you feel better or help you to get healthy again. Dean was overwhelmed, overwhelmed to take care of you and Sophia at the same time.
Dean decided to move out of the big city and move to the land, since your daughter has always wished for a horse. He wanted to give Sophia everything she wanted to make her childhood as good as possible, even tho she told him how much she missed you. Everyday.
Dean had a lot of help from his parents and Sam. They found a great farm for him and Sophia. It just needed some restoration, so it’d be perfect for the two.
“Dad?” Sophia asks as she knocks on Dean’s office door. Dean was so lost in thought thinking about you, how much he missed you and wished you were there with him. Enjoying farm life like you two have always planned on.
He cleared his throat and gave Sophia a loving smile, “yeah?” He said softly. “Can we go for a ride with the horses?” She asked with puppy eyes, making him smile and he noticed how much she looked like you. She had your eyes and mimics. He was tired, but he couldn’t say no to that. “Sure, sweetheart.” He said softly and smiled lovingly when he saw her eyes lit up with happiness and joy. She immediately ran outside to the barns where the horses were.
Dean followed quickly and helped her saddle up her horse named Star, before he saddled up his own. He helped her sit on her horse and got on his as well. The farm was big it even had a small forest where the two of them always rode through. Until they stopped at a dock and got off their horses and sat down. Dean looked around liking it here, but you still were missing. There was no day he wasn’t thinking about or missing you.
“Daddy?” Sophia spoke up a moment later and he looked at her. Sometimes it was hard to look at her, because she looked just like you, but he loved your daughter more than anything. “Today’s a day…I miss mommy so much that it hurts.” She said tearing up and he had to fight his own tears. He pulled her onto his lap and hugged her close. “I miss her too, baby.” He told her gently, kissing the top of her head.
“But mommy isn’t feeling any pain anymore, you know that right?” He said tearing up and she nodded against his chest. “I miss her too, very much.” He told her almost breaking down himself. She hugged her dad close, knowing how much he missed her mom too. You were the best mom, she could’ve thought of, you two always had so much fun, going on trips, doing her hair and cuddling. Mom cuddles were the best.
A few weeks later it was your first death anniversary. Dean, Sophia, Sam, his parents and your parents went to your grave. They laid down a beautiful bouquet of your favourite flowers and Sophia lit up a candle with Dean’s help. Dean was a mess that day, drinking a bit too much the night before. He had to drink himself to sleep, because all he could think about was how you fell asleep in his arm and never woke up again, never. He cried so damn much, his ears and head hurt.
You were the love of his life and he knew that the day you closed your eyes forever, he’d never ever love a woman like he did love you. He remembered, how you two met. Dean used to work for the FBI, it was his first day when he walked into the office. You were one of the new ones as well and calmed down his nerves, you always did, you knew from the first second you met each other, how to calm him down. One of the things he appreciated so much about you.
You were his best friend, the person he could always count on and always talk to. He knew you always loved him the way he was and never tried to change him nor did you never left his side when things got complicated. You two got married so fast back then, but he just knew you were the one and he was right.
Sam, his parents and your parents gave Dean and your daughter some space. “I miss her so much, Dad.” Sophia sobbed ad Dean let out a sob as well, wrapping an arm around her shoulder. “I miss her too.” He sobbed looking at your grave. Your grave said, “In memory of Y/N Winchester, a beloved daughter, beloved wife and beloved mother.”

I thought you never would… - Chapter 5

Chapter five
warnings: mention of rape, nervousness
word count: 3,368 words
Dean frowned when he saw the message, because for him it was just a fight not an end of a friendship. Sure, he was annoyed and really mad, but he appreciated you a lot. You were fun to talk to, you gave him really good advices. He was just annoyed about the things you said about the thing that was going on between him and Kira.
"I'm sorry about what I said. You're right it wasn't fair, not at all. I need you to understand what's going on between me and Kira is my business. Also the friendship isn't over." He texted back a moment later. You sniffled when you saw your phone lit up and grabbed your phone almost immediately. You looked at the screen, clicking on the message. You felt a small smile creep up your face as you read over the message. You felt relieved that the friendship wasn't over, but you were kinda annoyed about the part with Kira. You decided to ignore it, since the friendship was more important to you than what was going on between him and Kira.
"Okay...can we go back the normal now?" You texted. You hated fighting. You hated the feeling that fights gave you. They made you feel tense and on edge. Especially with Dean. You had never seen Dean in real life nor did you had known him that long, but you already were falling for him. Faster than you probably should had. Sometimes you had hope, Dean might had liked you too. Dean gave you a lot of compliments, like that he thinks you're cute or that you're really pretty. Ryan even once told you, that Dean told him that Dean was attracted to you, which gave you a big confidence boost, you didn't know you needed.
Once Dean kinda made an inappropriate compliment, for you it was charming, but it also could've been that it wasn't so inappropriate at all. He told you, that he thought your ass was really pretty and good looking, because he was checking out the pictures you had on your Instagram. You blushed so hard and you were so glad he couldn't see your face.
Dean saw your message and also kinda smiled, wanting nothing more than getting back to normal with you, too. Firstly, he wanted to text you back, but decided against it quickly. He hit the FaceTime button and called you. You were surprised about him calling you, but you felt so happy. So you picked up the call quickly and smiled shyly at him. "Hey." He said softly and smiled, but the smile quickly turned into a frown. "Have you been crying?" He asked as he he noticed your red and puffy eyes. "N-No." You managed to say. He looked at you and felt even more worse about how he made you feel. He made you feel so bad, that you cried. It was the first time he felt emotional about making someone cry.
"You have been and I'm sorry I made you feel that way." He told you softly and honestly with a small smile. "I-It's okay." You said with a nod. He sighed and gave you a small smile. "Since you want to go back to normal, you should come online." He said with a smile. You smiled brightly. "I'll be there in five." You told him with a happy smile, already feeling better. Before the fight, you bought yourself a train ticket to visit Dean's town. You were worried about the money you spend on it, when Dean started acting weird around you. You didn't tell Dean, but you did tell Ryan and Sam. They thought it was a really cool idea and the imagination of seeing you for real seemed fun.
You hung up the call and joined the voice chat. "Hey, Y/N." Ryan said cheerfully. "Hey." You said with a smile. "So everything's good now?" He asked curiously, since he was kinda worried about both of you. "Yeah, everything is good now." Dean answered. "Yeah." You said softly and smiled in relief to yourself.
After that fight you and Dean ended up FaceTiming every night again. Him and Kira stopped meeting, which you didn't know why and out of respect you didn't ask why. To be honest after that fight Dean thought about you a lot, thinking about how important you'd become to him in such a short time. He thought about how right you were about him and Kira, since Kira started messing with his head and trying to get back with him, when he didn't want to. She even started leaving and forgetting things at his place on purpose. He was getting annoyed with her and told her, they shouldn't hang out for a while.
To be honest, Dean caught himself crushing on you. He felt his heart flutter every time he heard you laugh, saw your smile and his phone lit up with your name. He had a crush on you, he didn't know why, but there was just something about you that made him feel that way. What was also weird to him, because he'd never seen you in person.
The day had come, when you made your way to Dean's town and frankly, you thought, you were shitting yourself. You were so nervous and excited to see those people, you'd been talking to on a daily basis for the last three months. Dean had been tidying up for the last two hours, because his place was a mess. Dean never liked cleaning up, but he knew he had to. Dean was probably more nervous than you were. He was nervous about sharing a bed with you and you were too. Dean's place was small and he just had a couch that only could fit two people. Since Ryan and his brother Sam were coming too, he had to improvise.
He was so nervous about asking you if it was okay for you to share a bed. You blushed so hard, your cheeks were burning. It was your first time sharing a bed with a boy and Dean didn't know that. Still, he was nervous and also excited. He secretly hoped to cuddle and hold you in his arms like he imagined the last few weeks.
Dean finished cleaning his place and wiped his forehead. He sighed happily, because he was finally done and he swore himself to clean up regularly, so he wouldn't spend hours to clean up. He plopped down on his couch for a moment to take a deep breath and drink some water. He noticed a weird smell and sniffled himself letting out a small cough at how much he smelled like sweat. At first he didn't mind and then he remembered he had to share a bed to you and he was quicker on his feet than he ever was. He walked into his bedroom and grabbed a pair of boxers, before walking into his bathroom to take a shower.
Just when he left his bathroom, someone knocked on his door and he opened it to see it was his big brother he hasn't seen in months. "Lil Bro, it's been some time." Sam said with a happy smile, stepping inside Dean's little apartment.
"Wait, just let me get dressed real quick." He said with a small laugh and rushed into his bedroom, getting dressed into a pair of joggers and a shirt. When he entered his living room again, he pulled his brother into a tight hug. A hug he didn't know he needed. He realized, how much he missed his brother. He missed having him around and he missed having Sam defend Dean in front of their mom, when things got ugly. "So good to see you." Dean said as they pulled away from the hug. Sam smiled winking at his brother and patting his back.
"I see you cleaned up." Sam said with a laugh and Dean let out a small laugh scratching his eyebrow. "Yeah, I did. Took me hours." He said with a nod. "And all of that for Y/N." Sam said wiggling his eyebrows. Dean chuckled trying to hide his nervousness. Dean talked to Sam about how he felt about Y/N a few days ago, so Sam was just messing with Dean. "So when is Ryan coming?" Sam asked a moment later. "He probably will be here in an hour." He told his brother. "You wanna drink something?" Sam nodded and Dean walked into the kitchen, returning with a bottle of water. The brothers caught up on everything, Sam telling him, how he likes college and that Dean should visit him some time soon.
The time passed by quickly and you were just 5 minutes away from Dean's town's train station and your heart was hammering more than ever. You were so damn nervous, asking yourself, how the weekend might could end up. Would it be awkward and weird or would it be cool and fun? You literally had no clue and idea, how to feel about it. You also had no idea, how to feel about seeing him and sharing a bed with Dean. You were excited and curious, but also anxious and nervous.
Those five minutes passed by so quick, you didn't even realize. You swallowed hard, when the doors opened. When you got out of the of the train, Dean immediately recognised you. His heart was beating so fast and the closer you got the more nervous he became. You recognised Dean too and he was even better looking in person. He was so beautiful and hot, you felt a lump form in your throat and you became so nervous and shy, when you approached him. "H-Hey." He stuttered out as he admired you. You looked up at him and smiled shyly, "H-Hi." You said shyly before he pulled you into a hug hesitantly. His smell embraced you and gave you comfort, he smelled so good, you didn't notice how you were snuggling into his chest. Dean felt the same about the hug, hugging you closer. He felt so happy about finally holding you in his arms.
That moment was so much better than he imagined and he imagined that moment so many times, he didn't remember. Holding you made him feel so good and comfortable, he wished he'd never had to pull away. When you two pulled away eventually, you smiled shyly and blushed deeply. He smiled softly at the sight. The two of you began walking to Dean's place, "So where are the others?" You asked curiously. "They're at my place...so how was your journey?" He asked softly. You nodded and smiled, "it was long, but okay and interesting." He smiled, "So how long did you take to get here?" He asked. "Three hours." You said with a small laugh. "But absolutely worth it." Dean smiled at that.
The two of you talked a bit, it was a bit weird, since you two have never seen each other in person, but it was okay. You two got to his place, just a few minutes later. "You really live on the highest floor?" You asked out of breath as he chuckled. "Almost, there are two more floors." He told you and you took a deep breath. He lived on the 5th floor, which were a lot of stairs, since you got the luck, you had an elevator in the apartment complex you lived in with your mom.
You entered the apartment and smiled, when you saw Sam and Ryan. "Hey, Y/N. Nice to finally meet you in person." Sam said happily and smiled, pulling you into a hug. You hugged him back, the hug was different tho. Not as special as the hug you shared with Dean. You pulled away much sooner than you did from Dean. Ryan smiled happily and pulled you in a quick hug as well. "So how was the trip?" Sam asked curiously. "It was okay." You said with a smile.
"You don't wanna sit down?" Ryan asked with a laugh as he noticed that you still were standing in the middle of Dean's living room. You blushed deeply, all of the sudden you felt so shy around them, so you sat down next to Sam hesitantly, who gave you a soft smile. You smiled shyly and looked around a bit. "So what we're making for dinner?" Dean asked clapping his hands together. "Hmm, I'm in the mood for chicken and french fries." Sam said. "Oh, me too." You said with a smile and Dean nodded with a warm smile. "Ryan, you cool with that?" Dean asked and Ryan nodded with a smile. "Sure."
Dean nodded with a smile and disappeared into the kitchen, you followed him. "You need help?" You asked softly. Dean turned his his head, stopping cutting the potatoes. "No." He said softly. "You sure?" He nodded and gave you a smile. "You should take a break, just send Sam in." He told you with a small laugh. You nodded and went back inside the living room to tell Sam, Dean asked for him. Sam rolled his eyes playfully with a smile before joining his little brother.
The time went by really quickly and dinner was served. It looked delicious, it was such a simple dish, but still it looked so good. Dean made the fries himself, you loved self made fries. You grabbed your fork and took a bite, "Wow, Dean, that's so good." You said happily and he blushed deeply. "Hey, I helped too." Sam said playfully. Dean chuckled a bit as you rolled your eyes playfully.
You finished dinner and helped cleaning up the dining table and plates. You helped Dean cleaning up the kitchen. Dean was impressed, because Kira never did something like that. He admired you, how you cleaned the plates. You didn't even ask, you just helped cleaning up. You thought it was fair, because you stayed at his place and ate his food. "Thank you." Dean said when you two finished cleaning and you nodded with a soft smile. "Of course, that's the least I can do." You said softly with a smile. Dean smiled softly, "You know, Kira never helped or did anything when she lived here." He told you and you were a bit shocked, since your mom taught you to help and clean up, when you were staying at someone's place.
"Never?" You asked with wide eyes and he shook his head no. You sighed, "Uhm, okay." You answered not wanting to say anything about her, because the mood could had changed, when you did. Dean frowned slightly. "You know, my mom taught me to help and clean up when you're at someone's place." That's all you said and Dean nodded, because his Dad told him the same. You walked back into the living room and plopped down on his couch and Dean sat down next to you as well, while Ryan and Sam were playing 'Call of Duty'.
Dean lit his cigarette and started smoking, when you answered your mom's text. You and your mom got into a big fight about you visiting Dean miles away from your hometown, because there were three boys and no parents. Sure, you didn't know Dean in person, but you knew he wasn't a bad person, that did things like having sex with girls against their will. Your mom really thought, they would rape or abuse you. You knew your mom was just worrying about you, but sometimes it was exhausting. She and her ex-boyfriend broke up like a month ago, because he cheated on her in December, and she started to believe every man was like that. So it got really annoying.
You explained to your mom, that you'll be careful. She gave you some money, in case you needed to get a motel room. She was just making sure you were safe, because she really worried about you. So you texted her, you got there safe and you were doing fine. There was nothing to worry about. Your mom felt relieved and told you, to call her when you have some time to you alone.
"We should have a few drinks and play a game or something." Dean said and you looked up from your phone to look at him. "Sounds fun." You said with a smile. "Uh, sure just a moment." Ryan said and you put your phone away. Ryan and Sam joined you on the couch a moment later. Dean placed a glass in front of everyone and made drinks for you guys. You started hanging out and having couple of drinks. You listened to music and had a lot of fun and laughs with the boys. They became so close to you in such a small amount of time. Those were people you could talk to about everything and you were grateful for that.
It was time to get ready for bed, because Dean had to go to work the next day because of his boss, who made him help cook something. Dean told you, it'd be 4 hours max and he'd be back then. You were a bit sad, but you understood. You were glad you changed into comfortable clothes, when Dean was making dinner, so you didn't have to change then.
You blushed deeply, when Dean lied down next to you. He smiled at you and you returned the smile shyly. You two lied there for a moment before he looked at you again, "I'm really glad you're here." He whispered softly and you felt your heart flutter. "I'm glad, too." You whispered back. "Are you comfortable?" He asked you softly and a bit worriedly. You nodded almost immediately, "I am, thank you." You said softly, snuggling into the blanket. "The sheets smell so good." You hummed and Dean let out a small laugh. "I changed the sheets this afternoon." He whispered and you smiled softly.
Dean admired you in the dark, you were so cute and pretty. He still couldn't believe, that you were there, lying next to him. He watched you, while you got comfortable. He wanted to hold you so badly, so he couldn't stop asking the question. "Can I hold you?" He whispered softly. You blushed deeply, but you were so happy that he asked you. You had wished for nothing more than this. You nodded to him, not really trusting your words. Dean felt his heart skip a beat, so he got comfortable as well and wrapped his arm around you hesitantly, hugging you close. You blushed so hard, you were glad it was dark inside his bedroom. You felt yourself snuggle into him without noticing and he smiled holding you close.
For him it felt so good, holding you felt so good, a feeling he never had when he hold Kira. You gave him comfort, he just felt comfortable around you. He never felt this good holding someone. A few minutes later you were nuzzling his chest and he showed you pictures of his younger self and memories he made with his friends. "That's my best friend Cas, he died over a year ago." He told you with a small smile and you felt bad. You finally understood, who it was in the pictures he was in with a guy. The pictures were in his living room, you remembered a motorbike in one of the pictures he had in the living room. "He died in an accident... he had with his motorbike." He told you quietly and you just wrapped you arms around him, hugging him tightly and close.
"I'm really sorry for your loss." You whispered softly and he rested his head on your chest, making you blush a bit, but to be honest you didn't mind. He nodded holding you close too, "It still hurts a lot and I miss him so much." He whispered. "I see that." You whispered softly as you rubbed his back. "Thank you." He said softly, when he looked up at you and you nodded. He enjoyed your touch, while you two held each other close.

An Actress Life - Chapter 14

warnings: drunk!reader, mad!jensen, fighting, embarrassment, talk about rape
word count: 1,675 words
A/N: sorry, that I changed the POV completely; but my 16-year-old self thought, that was a good idea to change it in the middle of a story sksksks sorry!
"I'm sorry, that I believed you would just care about sex right now." She says quietly, feeling extremely guilty for actually believing that Jensen, the Jensen she loves so much, would only think about sex in this kind of situation. "It kinda sounded that way...and I'm really sorry it did." He says quietly, he loves you more than anything, he would never want that you feel pressured by him, the man you love so much. "I don't want to keep fighting with you." She mumbles into his chest, holding tightly onto him.
"Me neither. I just...I just want you to be alright and what's best for you." He says softly, hugging her closer. "I know, that's why I feel so selfish sometimes." She says with a deep sigh, she feels like it's always about her, he's thinking way too much about her feelings. "No chick flick moments, Dean would say." She adds a moment later to brighten the mood. When she hears him chuckle, she feels her heart skip a beat. "He definitely would." He says playfully before kissing her head gently.
They hold onto each other enjoying the moment. Jensen looks around the kitchen noticing it's almost 5:23 PM. "We should get ready." He whispers softly into Y/N's ear. She looks up at him with a small pout, causing him to smile lovingly at her. She looks at the clock, knowing he's right. She sighs softly and nods pulling away, "You're right, we should get ready."
The two of them walk upstairs and separate their ways. Jensen's gets a shower, while Y/N gets dressed into something that aren't joggers and a top. She grabs a comfy jeans and a hoodie her mom gave her, before she flew to Vancouver to sign the papers for her role in Supernatural. Jensen walks into the bedroom a moment later and she can't help, but check him out. She notices how low the towel is wrapped around his hips, his toned abs, his perfectly shaped bow legs, are running through her mind. As much as she doesn't like thinking about sex right now, she can't help, but stare at the beautiful Jensen Ackles. "You okay?" Jensen's voice interrupts her thoughts, she just had about him. She blinks and looks at him, nodding, not really trusting her own words.
He nods and gives you a small smile as he grabs a pair of boxers, a jeans and a flannel. He takes his clothes on, before applying some cologne. "You ready?" He asks her softly and she nods getting off the bed. They walks downstairs into the hallway to take their shoes on. When they're about to leave Y/N remembers the beer in the fridge.
"Wait, the beer." She heads into the kitchen and takes the beer out of the fridge. "I almost forgot about that." He says with a small laugh.
"Good, that I remembered." She says, smiling at him. Jensen walks out of the house after her and closes the door, making sure it's locked, before they walk to Jared's house. He takes her hand in his as he carries the beer with the other hand.
A few minutes later, Y/N rings the doorbell and smiles lovingly, when she sees Gen with baby Shep in her arms. He sleeps peacefully, sucking onto his pacifier. "Hey." Y/N whispers softly and hugs Gen's side, kissing Shep's head gently. "Hey." She whispers back and smiles at them, before leading them inside.
Jensen and Y/N walk into the backyard, where Jared, Misha, Mark and some other friends of the crew already are. Jared gets of his chair almost immediately up, when he sees them. "Hey." He says softly and pulls Y/N into a tight hug as Jensen greets the others first.
"I'm so sorry." He whispers and kisses her head gently. She gives him a weak smile, nodding before she pulls away. Misha suddenly comes to her and pulls her into a hug, without saying a word, what she totally prefers in that moment. "Who's hungry?" Jared asks with a huge smile. Jared loves throwing barbecue parties. Jared loves, when the whole crew and cast gets together. "Me, I'm starving." She says with a small laugh, before Jared and Jensen walk to the grill.
Y/N and Misha sit down and start catching up on each other. Thankfully, Misha doesn't bring up the thing from the day before.
''Dude, I don't know what to do.'' Jensen tells Jared, rubbing his chin. He looks up from the grill and looks at Jensen. "I'm so sorry, when Gen told me what happened, i didn't really know what to do. I just don't get, how men do that to women ?" Jared says with a small sigh. "I don't understand either." Jensen says with a small sigh and Jared gives him a sympathetic smile, patting his back. "Everything will be fine, just give her some time." Jensen nods with a small smile, before looking at Y/N and watching her laugh about something Misha said, thanks Misha.
"But Jar." "Yeah?" Jared says and looks up from the grill to look at Jensen. "Since a week or so, I have been thinking about...about proposing to Y/N and-." "You what?" Gen interrupts quietly, standing behind them.
Jensen turns around and sees a huge smile on her face, then he looks back to Jared, who also smiles. "Nice to hear that, but isn't that a bit too fast?" Jared asks gently, just wanting his friends to be safe and happy. "Maybe, but I don't want to wait anymore. I love her, man. I want her to be my wife, like now. I want to make her happy and spend the rest of my life with her." He tells his friends. Gen and Jared look at each other, before smiling at Jensen. "Do you have a specific plan?" She asks curiously, since she thinks her best friend deserves the most beautiful proposal.
"I thought about traveling through Europe and then in Venice or Amsterdam or Rome I want to purpose to her." He rambles a bit, excitement rushing through him. "Oh my God, you are so romantic." Gen says and hits his shoulder playfully. "But don't forget about JIBCON." Jared says with a laugh. "I never could." "I will help you with your plan." Gen says happily and excitedly. Jensen nods and smiles thankfully at her.
"This will be amazing, when my best friends are finally getting married." He says happily. "I hope she's gonna say yes." "She will." He assures Jensen.
"Who will what?" Y/N asks curiously. "Uh- My mom will be happy to see you again." He stutters nervously. "I will be happy too." She says with a smile, even tho she notices his nervousness. "Jensen, can I talk to you for a minute?" Jared asks. "Sure." He says and they walk into Jared's office.
That was weird, he's hiding something, Y/N tells herself. She looks around and notices all the alcohol, wanting to drown herself in it. She grabs herself a drink, a heavy one. To be honest, Y/N isn't much of a drinker, but right now she just wants to get drunk and forget about what happened.
She sits down between Jared and Misha, while Jensen and Gen sit across from them. They eat and talk, have some laughs, but the drinks for Y/N kept coming. Jensen feels angry with her, if he's being honest, not understanding why she's drinking so much.
"Y/N, maybe you should stop." Jensen says gently and is about to take the drink out of her hands, but she grips it tighter, turning away from him. "No, I-I don't think so." She slurs and finishes the drink in one go. Jared and Gen look worriedly at each other, before looking at Y/N again.
She refills her glass with whiskey one more time and Jensen grows angrier. Gen walks over to her. "Honey, I don't know how you're feeling, but-". "Yes, you're right you don't know how I'm feeling." She snaps at her and cuts her off, sipping her drink. Jared and Jensen come over to the two.
She refills it again and finishes it fast. "You'll definitely got enough." Jared says and takes her glass. She pouts in protest, slurring something they can't figure out. "Jensen, please just take her home, I-We don't want to fight with her. I mean she's completely drunk." Gen says soft, not really being mad at Y/N. "I'm so sorry, guys." Jensen says rubbing his face in embarrassment. "Y/N we go. Now!" He tells her firmly and grabs her wrist before dragging her through the front door.
“What the fuck is wrong with you?!" He yells at her, but she just laughs at him. "What the fuck is wrong with you?" She mocks him laughing, she really can't take him seriously at all. He walks in front of her and turns around. "I don't know what is going on inside your head, but you never drink your problems away, y/n/n." She just laughs.
"It's senseless, you take nothing serious right now." He says with a sigh, rubbing his face. A few minutes later he opens the door, leading the two of them inside. She looks at her phone, it's 5 minutes after midnight.
"Happy birthday Baby." She slurs and starts kissing him messily. Jensen feels a bit uncomfortable as hs pushes you away gently. "Thank you, but you're drunk. You will regret this next morning." He tells her softly. "I don't care." She slurs and starts kissing him harshly.
"Y/N we can't do this." He swallows hard. "Of course we can, it's your birthday." She kisses his neck sloppily. "Enough, y/n!" He exclaims and pushes her gently away. "Just get some sleep." He says quietly. "When it's that what you want." She slurs and he sighs. She walks into living room and plops down on the couch, falling asleep almost immediately.

This is the first fanfic I’ve ever written, so let me know what you think and Enjoy!💕
The room was full of sunlight when you opened your eyes. Squinting at the brightness you took in the familiar surroundings of the motel room as you became more alert.
You and the boys were in Montana. Sam had found news articles of multiple murders from the past few months, all in close proximity to each other. With all the evidence leaning towards a possible werewolf, you and the boys packed up Baby and made your way to the latest murder scene to investigate. After a few days the hunt was successful and you all went back to the motel to get some sleep before heading back to the bunker.
Looking across from where you were, you noticed Sam’s bed was empty with a note on the pillow. ‘Probably out for his morning run’ you thought. Making a mental note to confirm that as soon as you got up. Turning slightly, you found Dean. He was still asleep, arms and body completely wrapped around you encasing you in warmth. You snuggled a little deeper in his embrace giving yourself a few extra minutes before finally getting up to start getting ready.
Slowly sitting up from the bed so Dean wouldn’t be disturbed, you untangled yourself from his arms. After checking Sam’s note and confirming he was in fact on a run and promised to bring back breakfast, you made your way to the bathroom. Starting to wash up for the day you looked over yourself in the mirror.
Looking at your bare face you sighed, today was definitely another makeup day. You’re skin looked a little blotchier then usual, with dark circles under your eyes, and a dull complexion. Eyes traveling a little further down you took in the rest of your body. Big arms, stomach, and thighs bounced back at you.
You had always felt insecure about your appearance. Being the size you were, you felt like whenever you were out in public people would stare. That they were judging you, and thinking you were big and sloppy looking when you really weren’t. This led you to putting extra effort into your appearance. Makeup always on, hair nicely styled, and a well put together outfit for the day. Being a hunter, this wasn’t something that you could pull off everyday, but you tried your best. On the days that you couldn’t, you always felt a little anxious, but Dean always made you feel better.
Dean made you feel like the most beautiful girl in the world. Underneath his tough hunter persona, he was so gentle and loving. Always complimenting you, and taking care of you. While he helped your confidence little by little, you still couldn’t stop those negative thoughts racing through your mind from time to time. Those thoughts where you wished you looked like the women you saw on TV and magazines. Women who were skinny and effortlessly beautiful. Women who could throw on leggings and a t-shirt with little to no makeup, and looked like they stepped off the runway.
Shaking those thoughts from your head. You finished washing up. Grabbing your hand held mirror and makeup bag to bring back to the bed. You always like doing your makeup sitting on your bed. It was comfortable and you had plenty of space to spread your products around. Walking out of the bathroom you noticed Sam was still out. You also noticed that Dean was now awake, sitting against the headboard, and scrolling through his phone. Seeing you in his peripheral vision, Dean looked up and gave you a breathtaking smile. God he was so gorgeous.
“Good Morning Baby.” Dean said lovingly reaching his arm out for you.
“Morning Handsome.” giving him a smile of your own, you grabbed his outstretched hand and let him lead you back to the bed. Settling you in between his legs, he pressed a kiss to your cheek, making his way down to the part of your shoulder that was peeking out of your oversized shirt. His arms wrapped around you to pull you a little closer.
“How’d you sleep?”
“Good, I always sleep the best when you’re with me, you?” you replied grabbing your makeup bag to get what you needed.
“Great, because my gorgeous girl was next to me.”
Dean dropped more kisses to your shoulder making you giggle, but inside you felt a little pang of sadness. You just woke up there’s no way you looked gorgeous right now.
you fell into a comfortable silence after that, enjoying each other’s presence while you started your makeup. Putting concealer first then foundation you started to bounce your beauty blender across your face, making sure everything got covered evenly. Once that was done you started coating your lashes in mascara. Dean watched you from your little mirror as you worked. Rubbing little circles into your hips with his thumbs, Dean broke the silence.
“Baby, you know we’re going to be in the car most of the day right? You don’t have to get all dolled up if you don’t want to.”
Stopping mid mascara swipe you looked down in your lap for a second before continuing
“I know, but I have too. If I want to look good I have to put the extra effort in.”
Dean’s brows scrunched together in confusion.
“Extra effort? What do you mean? You always look beautiful.”
Finishing your mascara you close the tube and look back down in your lap.
“I have to put more work in to look pretty. If I don’t people will see me and think I’m lazy and sloppy. I’m already big I don’t need to add more fuel to the fire”
Dean couldn’t believe what he was hearing. He knew you had insecurities and did his best to remind you that you were amazing and let your confidence shine through. Despite this you did still have some bad days, but this is first time you expressed those negative thoughts so bluntly. He couldn’t let those thoughts continue a second longer. Angling your body more towards him, Dean tucked some loose hair behind your ear before tilting your chin up.
“Listen to me baby, strangers opinions on the street don’t matter. They don’t have the honor of knowing how amazing you are. You’re so selfless and hard working. You constantly put others before yourself, saving people and helping me and Sammy make the world a little better. You’re not lazy and definitely not sloppy you’re stunning.”
Pulling you a little closer Dean continues
“Makeup, or no makeup, dressed up or dressed down you always look so pretty and so amazing. I get lost in those gorgeous eyes and this gorgeous body. I love the way you feel in my hands and pressed against me. You’re absolutely beautiful inside and out.”
You close your eyes, a little overwhelmed by his sweet words. He was right, others opinions didn’t matter. Finally finding your voice you speak up
“I just can’t help it sometimes. You could have any gorgeous woman on your arm, but you picked me. I feel like I have to prove to the world that I deserve you.”
Closing the rest of the distance between you, Dean presses a searing kiss to your lips. A kiss so full of love and want you feel warmth spread through your body. Breaking the kiss Dean cups your cheek, thumb running across your bottom lip.
“You have nothing to prove. I already have a gorgeous woman and I’m not letting her go anywhere.”
Blushing you let a smile work it’s way across your lips.
“There’s that smile I love, brightens my whole day.”
Moving you back into your original position, Dean slips his hand under your shirt. Rubbing small circles on your back while the other hand grabs your lipstick handing it to you.
“You already look beautiful baby but might as well finish what you started.”
Grabbing the tube you also grab your discarded mirror to finish up. Feeling lighter after talking with Dean. You were beautiful, you were confident, and with Dean by your side you could take on the world.
“I love you Dean, thank you.”
“I love you too baby, always.”

Warnings: (I realized I should probably be putting these on my stories) negative/insecure thoughts, body image issues, self hate, cursing, some fluff and comfort, implied/mentions of smut
You were practically giddy as you drove closer and closer to the bunker. You had stopped into town earlier to check your PO Box that you shared with the boys. Opening the box there wasn’t anything super important, but you got overly excited when you saw the package you had been waiting for sitting inside. You had been waiting for a while for it to come in the mail. As soon as you saw it you grabbed it and practically ran back to your car, hopping in to head back to the bunker.
You had ordered dresses, two to be exact. Your job has an upcoming party in a few months, and you were really excited to go. You were a new employee to your office, and had only been there for a few months. You loved your job and was happy working for the first time in a long time. You felt more confident and had a strong feeling of belonging and appreciation with all your coworkers. When your boss announced the upcoming party, you felt this was a great opportunity to showcase those feelings. New job, new you and you wanted your dress to reflect that.
Finally reaching the bunker, you pulled in and parked next to the Impala. You noticed Baby’s hood was propped open, Dean bent underneath it but then standing up straight to watch you pull in. Throwing you a smile his bright green eyes locked on you. He looked so good today. He was in jeans and a tight black tee, showing off his muscles that always made you go weak in the knees. His usual flannel discarded while he worked on Baby. Shutting the car off you climbed out, remembering to grab your package from the passenger seat. Shutting the car door you made your way over to join Dean in front of the impalas open hood.
Slinging an arm around your waist Dean pulled you in close “Hey Baby.” he said with a grin pressing a quick kiss to your lips.
“Hi Honey.” you said burrowing yourself a little deeper into his embrace. Moving back a little bit Dean settled on the edge of Baby, guiding you to stand between his legs by the belt loops of your jeans. Hands linking together at the small of your back. Dropping your package to the floor, you wind your arms around his shoulders.
“How’s Baby coming along.” you said nodding your head towards his beloved car. “Good so far she’s runnin’ strong.” he said looking fondly at the impala for a minute before turning his attention back to you. “How was the ride to town?”
Your face lit up in excitement as you unwrapped one of your arms from Dean, and bent down to grab your discarded package from the floor “My dresses finally came!” You practically squealed showing him the bundle.
Dean’s face softened as he took in your form. You were practically buzzing, with a big smile on your beautiful face. You were so adorable. He knew all about your upcoming party. His heart warmed at how happy you were. He was fully supportive of you working at your office. Anything that kept you safe and out of danger was a win in his book. He remembered sitting with you not that long ago while you scrolled through the computer, looking for the right dress. He tried to sneak a peek at what you were buying, but you evaded him easily wanting it to be a surprise.
Running a hand across your hip, Dean decided to get playful “Did you? Are you going to model for me?” Reaching up he brushed his lips across the shell of your ear “Maybe I’ll get to take them off of you too” he whispered voice low and gravelly, pressing a kiss to the hollow of your ear. Your face flushed and you felt that warmth travel all the way through your body. Thighs involuntarily rubbing together. He knew exactly what to say to get you all worked up. “Dean” you whined at his teasing. Dresses? What dresses?
Bringing his hand up to cup your face he pressed another kiss to your lips. Thumb running across your cheek. “I know Baby, I just love this blush.” leaning back he released you from his hold.
“Go on, try them. We’ll have plenty of time to play later.” knowing you were eager to try them on. Warmth spreading to your core, you clutched the package close to your chest, pouting at his withdrawal “Promise?” Kissing your pout away Dean grinned. “Absolutely Baby”
with a light pat to your bottom Dean sent you out of the garage. Taking a deep breath, you take a minute to calm your racing heart from Dean’s heated words. You couldn’t wait for later.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In your shared bedroom, you finally open your package. Pulling the dresses out, you lay them out across the bed and admired them. Grabbing the first one you shed your clothes and put it on. Looking in the mirror you analyzed your body. It was a very pretty dress. A bright red color made of lace. It had short sleeves and an A-line skirt that went past the knees, giving it a classic look. This dress was something you would normally wear, safe and predictable. You picked it partially out of habit and as a back up just in case you didn’t find anything else. You looked nice, but you wanted something different.
Grabbing the second dress you removed the first to put it on. This dress was a style you’d never worn before. You never had the confidence to until now, but your want to reflect your new found happiness made you choose it. Turning back to the mirror you took in your appearance. It was a deep wine colored dress. Tight to the body and accentuating your curves. The sleeves were long with a modest v-neck, and ruching down the whole front. This one was shorter, stopping just above your knees. It was perfect. You loved it and It was exactly what you wanted. You thought you looked amazing and felt amazing too. You’re confidence spiking even higher.
Admiring yourself a few more minutes you decided to call your mom. She knew about the party as well and you wanted to show her the dress you picked out. Pulling out your phone you find your moms contact and start a video call. The call quickly connects and you see your moms smiling face
“Y/N! It’s so good to hear from you! You’re brother is here too.” the screen pans over to your brother who gives a smile and a wave. After a few minutes of pleasantries and catching up, you finally get to the reason of the call.
“Mom I wanted to show you the dress I picked out for that party at work. I love it so much!”
Propping your phone up you step back so she can see you in full view. “What do you think?”
Your mom is silent for a minute, a slight frown on her face as she takes you in. “It looks nice, but are you sure you want to wear something like that?”
“What do you mean?” Your brows furrow in confusion “is there something wrong with it?”
Your brother speaks up from behind your mom “Honestly, it doesn’t look good.” you felt your heart plummet to your stomach, throat tight with emotion. Your brother continues “Really like just the style in general is so bad, it’s really not flattering at all.”
Trying to keep your composure, you swallow hard as tears fill your eyes ready to spill over. “I thought it was great. I wanted to try something new, be more bold and confident.”
Noticing the emotions playing across your face, your brother tries to back pedal “That dress wouldn’t look good on anybody, it was just poorly designed. Do you have time to find something else?”
Grabbing the first dress you hold it up to show them. “I bought this one too but I always wear this type of dress”
Finally speaking up your mom lights up “Oh I love that one, it’s perfect for you and it’ll cover up the problem areas.”
Hearing enough you quickly reply “Thanks guys, I’ll talk to you again soon.” Ending the phone call you let the tears escape and roll down your cheeks.
You were so stupid. How could you think that this dress would look good? You’re brother was wrong. Plenty of other women could wear this dress, but you weren’t one of them. You clearly weren’t confident enough or attractive enough to pull something like this off. You were just plain, ugly, boring you. You sit on the edge of the bed, tears still falling. You wrap your arms around yourself like armor, trying to control your breathing as your tears turn into full sobs.
Your thoughts starting to spiral, you think of Dean and cry even harder. You don’t deserve to be with him. How could he possibly love someone like you? When he could have any gorgeous woman on his arm. You were pathetic. Ugly and broken and definitely way out of his league for someone who was as gorgeous as he was. Standing up abruptly you take the dress off and throw it to the ground. You grabbed your pajamas, an oversized t-shirt and shorts and put them on before making your way back to the bed. Crawling under the covers you grab your pillow and clutch it to your chest sobbing, wishing you could be someone else.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Walking through the halls of the bunker, Dean search’s for you. It had been a while since he saw you in the garage. He didn’t think it would take long to try your dresses on, and he thought you might’ve came back when you were finished. After searching through the main rooms and asking Sam if he’d seen you at all which he hadn’t, he made his way towards your shared bedroom. As he gets closer he notices the door is shut. We’re you still trying things on? He then hears noise on the other side of the door, muffled sobs that make his chest tighten in slight panic. Opening the door he sees you. Curled up under the covers of the bed, pillow clutched to your chest, and the most heart wrenching sobs coming out of your mouth. What the hell happened? You were so happy before.
Dean was at your side in seconds. Kneeling down in front of you and running a hand along your hair “Baby what’s going on? What happened?” You don’t respond, sobbing and coughing as you lose your breath. Dean looks over you quickly. After not finding anything physically wrong with you, he relaxes slightly and tries to calm you down. Pulling the pillow away from you, Dean fills the empty space. Guiding your head into the crook of his neck. His hand running through your hair while the other slips into you shirt, pressing against the small of your back and gently rubbing. “Shhh baby girl it’s ok, you’re ok. Can you try and take a deep breath for me?” Cuddling closer into Dean, you soak in his warmth. With the smell of his cologne and his strong heartbeat invading you’re senses, you take a small shuddering breath. “That’s it Baby nice and easy, deep breaths in and out. You can do it.”
Dean continues whispering sweet words to you and helping you breath until you finally start to calm down. Pulling back slightly Dean presses a kiss to your forehead, taking his hand out of your hair to bring it to your cheek. Wiping the tears away with his thumb. “There’s my girl, What happened Baby? Who’s ass do I have to kick?” You let out a small watery giggle before hiding your face away, suddenly feeling embarrassed. “It’s stupid, I shouldn’t have gotten so upset” you reply, voice and throat scratchy from your crying.
“It’s not stupid, you know you can tell me anything” mustering up the courage you sit up a little, looking into Dean’s gorgeous green eyes. Dean follows you resting against the headboard and securing you at his side. Your head rests on his shoulder grabbing his hand and twining your fingers together. Deans other hand is still on your back warm and comforting, rubbing up and down in long strokes.
“I tried on the dresses and one of them was exactly what I wanted. I loved it and felt amazing in it. I called my mom to show her and my brother was with her too. I showed them the dress and they didn’t like it. They thought it wasn’t right for me, that it was completely unflattering and did nothing to hide all the problems I have on my body.”
Dean saw red. How could your family do that to you? Problems on your body? You were absolutely stunning! Trying to reign in his anger you continued with your story.
“I feel so stupid they were clearly right, I’m not confident enough or pretty enough to wear something like that. I don’t know why I even bothered in the first place. You deserve someone way better not a loser like me.” You look down in your lap, upset and ashamed.
Tilting your head up, Dean places a chaste kiss to your lips rubbing his thumb along your jaw as he speaks
“First of all you aren’t a loser and you’re not stupid. You’re so amazing. Smart, funny, and drop dead gorgeous. I don’t want you thinking for another second that you don’t deserve me because you do. And second, your body? It’s perfect Baby. You drive me crazy with these gorgeous curves. For me no other woman compares to you.”
You heart melts at his sweet words. You loved this man so much. Looking into his eyes which showed nothing but genuine love and honesty, you felt a little lighter. Dean loved you for you and that’s all you ever needed. Throwing your arms around his neck in a tight hug you cuddle into him.
“I love you, I love you so much”
“I love you too baby girl, but now I need you to do something for me”
Untangling from your embrace Dean stands up, leaving you confused as you watch his movements. Crossing the room Dean reaches down and grabs your dress from the floor. You had almost forgotten that you threw it there. Walking back over to you he places it in your lap
“Will you put this on for me?”
“I don’t know Dean, I don’t think it’s going to look good” you replied looking down at the dress in your lap, some self doubt still lingering. Reaching for you, Dean tilts your chin up. “It will I promise, do you trust me?” Of course you did, you always would. Giving him an affirmative nod you stand, turning your back to him. You quickly shed your pajamas and pull the dress on. Adjusting it so it sits right, you take a moment not quite ready for his reaction. ‘It’s ok’ you tell yourself ‘you can do this’
Steeling yourself you turn around, looking Dean in the eye. His breath hitches once you’re facing him “Fuck, baby you look gorgeous” eyes raking over your form. The dress fit to you like a second skin, accentuating all of your curves that Dean loved so much. He couldn’t resist stepping closer, hand reaching out to your hip to bring you into him.
“You really think so?” You reply wrapping yourself around Dean, feeling your body warm at his words and his touch. Dean presses a kiss to your lips, then your cheek, working his way down your jaw and your neck before burrowing into the spot we’re your neck and shoulder meets. Hand gliding along your hip feeling the smooth material of the dress. “I think it’s time to take this off now Baby, gotta show you just how much I love this body, dress or no dress.”
Reaching down, Dean grabbed the hem of your dress slowly dragging it up and leaving a fiery trail along the skin of your thighs before stopping back at your hips. Guiding you back to the bed and leaving hot kisses along your neck, the dress soon came all the way off and Dean spent the rest of the night showing you just how beautiful you really were.

Summary: The reader celebrates her birthday with Dean and Sam
A/N: Hi everyone! Today is my birthday so I decided to write a story of the reader celebrating her birthday with Dean and Sam. Thank you so much to everyone who’s been interacting with my page and stories so far. I’m new to all of this so I really appreciate all of you. Enjoy💕
Warnings: this is mostly fluff, there’s just one section of reader losing her family and sad feelings.
Warmth. That’s the first thing you feel as your body slowly comes back to consciousness. Burrowing a little deeper into that warmth, your ears perk at the slight chuckle that emanates from underneath you. Becoming more alert, you open your eyes looking at the sparkling green of Dean’s as he looks down at you fondly. The little lamp on the night table is on. Casting the room in a warm golden glow.
You’re on your stomach half on top of Dean, legs tangled together while you’re head lays just under his shoulder. Dean’s arms are wrapped around you, one hand settling on your hip while the other rubs up and down your back in languid strokes. You loved waking up next to Dean. You felt so loved and protected, that you never wanted to leave his arms. Letting out a content sigh you burrow even further earning you another small laugh.
“you’re so adorable, you’re like a little bunny.” Dean says wrapping you up in his arms a little tighter. Now it’s your turn to giggle reaching up a little further to press a kiss to his lips in response. Dean kisses back smooth and slow. You’re insides turning to jelly at the feel of his lips on yours. Dean pulls away sooner then you’d like, pressing a gentle kiss to your forehead before easing back a little “Happy Birthday baby.”
Your eyes widen a little at Dean’s words. You actually hadn’t told the boys when your birthday was. You had only met them last year, after they saved you from a nasty demon. One that took the lives of your family. After that incident Dean and Sam took you in at the bunker. Teaching you how to hunt. You’re birthday had already passed at that time, so it never really came up as you were getting to know each other. You always celebrated your birthday with your family and in light of everything that happened you were a little hesitant to be festive. Wishing they could be there to spend the day with you.
“How did you know it’s today?” Dean gives you a smirk. “Never doubt a Winchester baby” keeping it a secret and finishing off with a wink. “I have a whole day planned.” You’re heart just about melted. Dean taking the time to plan a whole day for you was incredibly sweet, but you couldn’t help feeling a little guilty. Guilty that he went through all the effort when your birthday had you feeling a little melancholy. Sitting up you look down at your lap, nervously twisting your fingers together. “That’s so sweet Dean, but you didn’t have to go through all the trouble.”
Sitting up to be closer to you, Dean places a hand on yours in your lap. The other cups your cheek, tilting your head up to look at him. A softness in his eyes as he runs his thumb along your cheekbone. Of course he knows how you’re feeling. To Dean, you were an open book and he knew every page.
“I get it Y/N, trust me I do. I know It hurts that your family isn’t here, but you’re not alone. Me and Sammy are your family too and we want to make this nice for you. You did the same for us and you deserve that too. Always. I would do anything for you.”
Looking into Deans eyes you feel lighter. You would always have your family close in your heart. Dean and Sam were your life now, and you could get through anything with them by your side. Smile overtaking your face you give Dean a small nod “I would do anything for you too. I love you Dean, thank you.” Pulling you closer Dean, presses a chaste kiss to your lips before pulling away and moving to stand at the side of the bed. “Alright birthday girl, you get dressed and ready. I’m gonna go find Sam.” Watching him leave the room you fall back on the bed for a minute and let out a content sigh. God you loved that man.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Putting the finishing touches to your outfit, you step over to the mirror in your bedroom for a final once over. You weren’t sure what Dean had planned but you decided to keep your clothes somewhat casual.
Running your hands along your shirt to smooth it out, you take in your outfit. You decided on a pair of dark wash skinny jeans. The denim hugging your body just right. Your shirt was a short sleeved v-neck that was baby doll style. It was a deep burnt orange color that was perfect for the upcoming fall season, with a small white dotted pattern all across the shirt. For shoes you settled on your nicer slip on flats. White that had a woven pattern and a thick gold chain embellishment along the top. Your hair was left down in waves and you had done your everyday makeup to finish off the look. Pleased with your appearance you do a cute little pose to the mirror before turning on your heel to leave the room.
Making your way through the Bunker you find Dean and Sam in the kitchen. Dean is at the stove, a pan of scrambled eggs in front of him that are in the process of cooking. Sam is setting the table, some platters already laid out that consisted of pancakes, bacon, and mixed fruit. Sam notices you in the doorway and heads in your direction “Happy Birthday Y/N.” Sam says enveloping you in a big hug once he approaches. “Thank you Sam.” You say as you hug back, then stepping away to look over the table again. “Everything looks so good, thank you for making breakfast guys.” Finished with the eggs, Dean sets them on the table and comes to stand next to you. Wrapping his arm around your waist and placing a soft kiss to your temple.
Taking a step back you gesture to yourself “Dean do I look ok?”
“You look perfect baby, as always.”
Grabbing your hand he leads you to your chair helping you sit. He goes and grabs you a glass of orange juice before sitting next to you. Sam sits as well, and then you all fill your plates with food and start enjoying your meal. “So Y/N are you excited for today?” Sam asks after swallowing a mouth full of food. “I am yea. I don’t know what we’re doing but as long as I’m with you guys it’ll be great.”
“Trust me Y/N You’re gonna love it”
After some more pleasant conversation, you and the boys finish up breakfast. “Alright baby, I’m just going to shower and change really fast and then we’ll get out of here. Just sit tight for a few minutes.” Giving a small nod you watch him leave the kitchen, wondering what the day has in store for you.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Packed up in Baby, you and the boys were headed to your destination. Sam letting you sit in the passenger seat. Curled up next to Dean you place your head on his shoulder, one hand playing with the edge of his jacket and flannel. You let out a content sigh, you loved driving with Dean in baby. One of Deans hands is on your thigh, warm and comforting as you continue on. Sam watches you both from the backseat with a small smile, happy that you and his brother are doing so well together. Conversation is light and fun as you continue on and then after another few minutes, Dean pulls off of an exit on the highway. Perking up a bit, you glance out the window, hoping to get a peek of where you’re going. Dean let’s out a little chuckle at your reaction, giving your thigh a gentle pat. “Almost there, baby won’t be too much longer now.”
Another couple minutes you pull into a parking lot and your jaw drops. The boys brought you to the aquarium. You had always loved anything to do with the ocean and sea life. You had mentioned to Dean a while back that you had never been to an aquarium, but you had always wanted to go. You felt your stomach erupt in butterflies, the fact that he remembered and planned this for you tugged at your heartstrings. He was truly the sweetest and best man you’ve ever been with. Excitedly getting out of the car, you turn to the boys
“The aquarium! I’ve always wanted to go here!” Dean comes up behind you wrapping his arms around your waist. Sam is next to you, grinning at your excitement. “Well what are we waiting for let’s go!”
Once inside you were in awe of all the displays around you. There were big tanks built into the walls that spanned down all different hallways. Grabbing your hand, Dean leads your little group to the first display. The case was full of colorful coral, bright tropical colored fish swimming all around the area. Your eyes scan the whole tank smiling brightly “look how beautiful they are, this is so cool!” You and Sam read the fact card on the wall, sharing information back and forth before moving on to the next. You were so excited to explore.
After spending a few hours at the aquarium, you start making your way back to the exit. “Did you have a good time baby?” Turning to Dean you give him a bright smile. “Absolutely! I had the best time!” Wrapping his arm around your shoulder, Dean pulls you in closer to his side “Good, are you hungry? We’ll grab dinner on the way home.”
“Yea definitely, let’s do it!”
You all head back to baby, ready to go back to the bunker and enjoy the rest of the evening.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Back in the bunker you find yourselves around the kitchen table again. Dean had insisted on getting your favorite foods for dinner, which was now splayed out across the table. You and the boys joking and laughing as you ate. Sharing stories and enjoying each others company. It had been a really great day. While you were hesitant earlier to be festive, you were glad you had Dean and Sam to spend the day with you. They both made your days brighter in their own ways. Despite dealing with some pretty heavy stuff in the supernatural world, you were so happy.
Finishing up dinner, Dean stands from his chair. Sam stands also “We’ve got one more surprise for you baby, we’ll be right back.” Leaving the room they’re only gone for a few minutes. Coming back Dean has two small gift bags in his hand, while Sam had a plain white box. Placing the items on the table, they return back to their original seats. Dean pulling himself closer to you. His arm around the back of your chair. “Alright baby, present time.” You look between the boys slightly surprised.
“You guys this is so sweet. you’ve done so much for me today already you didn’t have to do this.”
“It’s your birthday Y/N, we wanted to get these for you.” Sam replies before grabbing one of the bags. “Open mine first.” Smiling you take the bag from Sam. Pulling out tissue paper, you look in the bag and see a book. Taking it out you realize it’s a journal. The covers of the book were a soft black leather, and all along the edges of the front cover were embroidered flowers in pastel colors. Running your fingers along the decorative edge, you look to Sam.
“Sam this is beautiful, thank you so much.”
“You’re welcome Y/N. Dean and I have our own hunting journals, so I figured you were ready to have your own.”
“It’s perfect, I love it” you reply gently placing it on the table. “My turn” Dean says grabbing the other bag and placing it in front of you. Opening the bag, you pull out a small velvet box. Opening the box, there’s a necklace tucked inside. Letting out a little gasp you run your finger along the pendant, It was so pretty. It was a pure black crystal, shaped into a long hexagon prism. Delicate gold metal in an intricate pattern was wrapped around it, and it hung off a delicate gold chain. Turning to Dean you place a kiss on his cheek.
“Thank you Dean, this is gorgeous. Will you help me put it on?”
“Of course baby” Dean smiles at you before grabbing the necklace out of the box and helps you put it on. Hands lingering on your shoulders once the clasp is closed. You turn back to Dean with a bright smile that makes Deans heart melt. You were so beautiful.
“Rowena helped me out with the crystal. It’s black obsidian. It’s supposed to be good for protection. I made the metal design around it and then put it on the chain.”
You’re stomach erupted in butterflies at his words. He made this? For you? You felt your eyes start to water as you held back tears. This was the nicest gift you’ve ever gotten. Knowing that he specifically thought of it and made it for you was so thoughtful. You were so incredibly in love with this man. Fingers running along the crystal you look into Deans beautiful green eyes.“Dean, I love you so much, this was so sweet and thoughtful. I absolutely love it.” Cupping your cheek Dean pulls you into a quick kiss. “I love you too baby so much.”
Clearing his throat Sam brings you back to earth. Your cheeks turn pink forgetting that Sam was watching the whole time. “I think you guys gave me a cavity over here.” Sam says poking fun at your tender moment. “Whatever Sammy, at least I got a girl.” Dean jokes back playfully. Grabbing the plain white box Sam opens it up, pulling a small cake out and placing it on the table. They had gotten your favorite cake. These boys were too good to you. Putting candles on the cake, Dean lights them with his lighter and then the boys sing happy birthday to you. Closing your eyes you blow the candles out when they’re done singing. Wishing for all three of you to be safe and happy. Cutting the cake you all take a slice to enjoy. A perfect ending to the nice day you all had Tucking you closer into his side, Dean presses a soft kiss to your temple “Happy Birthday baby.”
Covid Sucks
Dean Winchester x Sick! Reader
Summary: Reader has covid and Dean takes care of her.
A/N: The universe might be out to get me or looking out for me by giving me covid the day after my birthday lol. Since I’ve been stuck in bed I decided to write this up. I apologize if it isn’t as good as usual, I’m still not feeling that great. Thank you as always for the support,likes, reblogs, etc. it means so much to me. Enjoy💕
Warnings: Should be mostly fluff. Mentions of being sick and covid.
You really didn’t think anything of it at first. You had always had seasonal allergies, especially when the temperature liked to change from hot to cold and back in the span of days. When you woke up this morning with congestion and a slightly scratchy throat, you chalked it up to just that. You had been in the bunker all day, specifically in the library. You hadn’t been a hunter for as long as the boys have, so you tried your best to research when you could on all the different supernatural creatures out there.
As the day progressed, you started feeling a little worse. By dinner time, you were starting to think that maybe it was more then just allergies. In addition to your congestion and sore throat you now had a headache, body aches, and chills. Rubbing your hands up and down your arms discreetly to try and get some warmth, you knew the boys would notice soon, especially Dean. You and Dean had only been dating for a few months, but he was very attentive and good at reading you. You had always been a little sensitive anyway, having trouble masking your emotions. You were pretty much an open book, and Dean knew you very well. You hated getting sick, and you hated worrying Dean, but you knew that once he noticed there was no trying to hide it.
Eating small bites of your dinner, you are vaguely aware of the conversation the boys are having about a possible hunt. Feeling a little out of it, you don’t realize right away that Sam is trying to get your attention.
“Y/N, you ok?” Sam looks at you confused and a little concerned.
“Sorry, yea must of zoned out. What did you say?” You replied, trying to sound more cheerful. But you knew it was only a matter of time before you were caught. Dean’s eyes zeroed in on you, giving you a once over as you answered Sam’s question. You looked a little paler then usual, the skin not covered by your t-shirt and pants covered in goosebumps. Every now and then you’d give a little sniff that sounded like you were trying to clear your sinuses.
“You feeling alright baby” Dean speaks up, watching you carefully.
You tensed slightly, yup you were caught. But in your foggy headspace you still tried to cover it up.
“Yea my allergies have been bugging me today, but other then that I’m good.”
“Allergies huh?” Dean says in disbelief. He gives you a no nonsense look before leaning over placing his lips on your forehead for a minute before leaning back “Do your allergies usually give you a fever? You’re warm.” Dean said with a look of concern. Slumping in defeat you let out a small sigh that makes your breath catch and causes a cough. Quickly turning away to cough in the crook of your elbow, Deans suspicions are confirmed.
“Ok so I might be getting sick, but I’m sure it’s just a cold or something.”
Standing up Dean takes your hand and helps you stand, before guiding you to the bathroom. Sam following along behind. Dean flicks the light on and has you sit on the closed toilet seat, rummaging through the medicine cabinet. Sam leans up against the door to watch. Grabbing the thermometer Dean turns to you, gesturing for you to open your mouth. You do so and Dean gently places the thermometer under your tongue. Muffled you try to speak.
“Guys I’m sure it’s nothing, really-“
“Baby stop, don’t jostle the thermometer” Dean says, cutting you off and giving you an exasperated look. Pleading with his eyes to let him help you.
Defeated you sit quietly. You knew he was doing all of this because he cared, you just didn’t want to be a bother. Finally hearing the little beep, Dean grabs the thermometer and looks at the digital screen.
“100.5, let’s make sure it doesn’t get any higher.” Turning back to the medicine cabinet, Dean grabs the bottle of ibuprofen. Shaking two in his hand he passes them along to you, grabbing a glass of water for you as well. Crouching down in front of you Dean watches as you take the medicine. When your finished, he moves the glass on the counter for you and then places a hand on your thigh, rubbing his thumb in soothing circles.
“What are you feeling right now baby?” Dean hated when you got sick. He was already protective of you, and you being sick increased that feeling tenfold.
Not trying to hide it any longer you reply. “I feel cold, my head and body hurts on and off, I feel congested, and just gross all around.” Raising two of your fingers to your temple when you start to feel the ache come back, you rub at it gently. A slight look of discomfort takes over your face, that doesn’t go unnoticed by Dean. Replacing your hand with his, Dean takes over rubbing before turning to look at Sam in the doorway.
“What do you think Sammy?”
“Sounds like covid to me. The store in town should still be open, I can run and get some tests to make sure.”
Groaning you slump forward pressing your forehead against Dean’s shoulder. “Covid sucks.”You whine. You hated this. Dean holds in a chuckle at your outburst. Even when you were sick you were still adorable.
“Alright, come on let’s get you into bed while we wait for Sammy.”
After getting you settled, Dean sits next to you. Grabbing your hand and running his thumb along your knuckles. Deciding to ask the question that had been on his mind.
“Y/N? Why did you try to hide this? This could’ve ended up being so much worse if left unchecked. You’re health is important and I don’t want anything to happen to you”
You looked at Dean, seeing deep concern in his eyes. “I just hate worrying you and having you take care of me like I’m a child or something. When I woke up this morning I really did think it was my allergies, but I just felt worse as the day went on. I figured I could just handle it on my own. I’m sorry if I made you mad.” You look down at your lap, embarrassed that you tried to lie.
Tilting your chin up so you’re looking back at him, Dean tucks some hair behind your ear that fell forward when you looked down.
“I’m not mad baby, I just don’t want you to feel like you have to hide things from me. I know I’m not the best at that myself, but I’m trying. You are never a bother to me and I don’t want you to have to go through things by yourself. You, your health, and your happiness are my priority. You can tell me anything and everything and I’ll always be there to help you. I love you and I’m not going to be mad or annoyed if you need me.”
You feel your eyes well up at his sweet words. He may not have always expressed it but you knew deep down he was a nurturing person. That was one of many reasons as to why you loved him. He had such a good heart.
Wrapping your arms around him you burrow your head into the crook of his neck. “I love you, Dean. You’re my priority too.” Wrapping his arms around your waist Dean pulls you into his lap, making sure your comfortable. He kisses your temple then places his chin on your head. Holding you close as you continue to wait for Sam.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After taking a test it was confirmed, you had covid. Dean had already gotten it a few months prior, luckily before you were dating so you were safe back then. Since you were dating now and sharing a room, there was no issue with him being in bed with you and taking care of you. Sam however hadn’t gotten it previously, which meant you were confined to your bedroom. You knew you were going to be bored, but you didn’t want to risk Sam getting sick and knew that this was necessary. Dean had also made it clear that he wasn’t going leave you alone, so at least you had him to keep you company.
Waking up the next morning, you let out a little groan. You felt worse then yesterday. There didn’t seem to be any new symptoms, but you’re current ones felt more intense. Trying to get more comfortable you take note that your by yourself, Dean’s side of the bed cold. He must’ve gotten up before you. Slowly pulling yourself up you lean against the headboard. Cradling your head in your hands and rubbing your forehead to ease the intense ache. Hearing the door open you look up, Dean coming into the room with a tray in his hands. Placing the tray on your night table, Dean takes a seat at the edge of the bed on your side facing you.
“Morning baby, how are you feeling”
“Not great, honestly I feel worse then I did yesterday.”
Frowning a little Dean leans over and grabs the thermometer off the tray he brought in. Taking your temperature you wait for the beep.
“101 still not terrible but hopefully it doesn’t get any higher then that.”
Grabbing the ibuprofen next he gives you another dose to take.
“Are you hungry? I made breakfast.”
“A little bit.” You reply slightly surprised that despite all your symptoms you still had an appetite. Dean takes the tray and puts it on your lap, before standing and rounding the bed to go back to his side. You notice two plates of eggs and toast, one for you and one for him.
“Don’t force yourself to eat it all if you don’t feel up to it, but at least eat a little. Do you need me to help you?”
“I can do it, thank you though.” You reply picking up your fork and starting to eat. Satisfied that your ok, Dean grabs his plate and eats as well. You get through about half of your plate before your feeling full. Taking the tray to move it off the bed, Dean beats you to it.
“I got it, let me clean this up and I’ll be right back.”
Watching Dean leave the room you scoot down a little further into the bed. You don’t want to fully lay down due to your full stomach but don’t want to be fully upright either. Entering the room again Dean gets back in the bed pulling you closer and wrapping his arm around you so you can burrow into his side.
“Comfortable?”
You nod against his chest, relaxing into his embrace further when his hand starts rubbing up and down your back.
“Wanna watch a movie?” You nod again and Dean grabs the remote for the TV. Scrolling through the options and settling on your favorite. Dean keeps the volume a little lower then usual so it wouldn’t make your headache worse. You smile at Deans actions “Thank you Dean, I love you.” Dropping a kiss to your forehead Dean gives you a smile in return.
“I love you too baby, now rest up. I’ve got you.”
Relishing in his warmth you felt content. Yea covid sucked, but Dean would be there to make it better.
