Unpopular opinion but maybe it shouldn’t be considered acceptable to mock people who sleep in.
Maybe I have trouble sleeping.
Maybe I’m so mentally and emotionally exhausted from yesterday that I need some rest.
Maybe executive dysfunction is making it difficult for me to get out of bed.
Maybe I know that no matter when I get up, I’m going to get a snide comment, either because I slept in or because I didn’t sleep in, and it’s making me feel anxious and ashamed.
Maybe I’m just a night owl who’s naturally inclined to stay up late at night because that’s when I feel at my best.
Maybe I’m just not like you and we shouldn’t make fun of people who are different.

; there's a HUGE difference between the two and it's infuriating that people don't bother to learn that. Pro-para essentially means you don't hold ableist ideologies against paraphiliac disorders and you believe not all paraphiles are inherently abusive, etc. Plus believe they should be allowed to exist in society safely. ( which is TRUE !! Paraphiliac disorders are categorized by recurrent and intense sexually arousing fantasies / urges etc that are immoral or distressing involving things such as children, non-consenting adults, animals, etc. They are psychiatric disorders and therapy is recommended in situations where it's uncontrollable / is a danger to yourself or others. ) Pro-CONTACT is what you should avoid, pro-c is believing it's okay for paraphiles to act immorally / illegally relating to their disorder and is anti-recovery since it denies the necessity of therapy / recovery in instances of being in harm of oneself or others. You can be pro-para and not be pro-contact. It's important to be pro-para and understand what such disorders really are if we want to properly destigmatize psychiatric disorders and generally un-normalize ableism.
white trans mascs specifically those around my age (15-19) need to understand that their experience of being trans isn’t universal. my gender isn’t ‘feral little gremlin who never washes’ bc as a black person i am already seen as dirtier than my white counterparts. i also have no interest in being seen as feral bc once again, as a black person, i am dehumanised against my will. i’m not the first transmasc of colour to discuss this either.
