Miraculous bedtime stories
I came across this tweet from ladybugfrance:
The Miraculous Secrets cards have apparently revealed a secret about Chat Noir:
Adrien chose the name "Chat Noir" for his superhero counterpart because it was the name of the superhero in the bedtime story his mother would read to him 😭
(Definitely not crying here 😭)
But wait a minute...
If you think about this...
Was Emilie telling him a story about a superhero named Chat Noir a total coincidence or did she make up a Chat Noir character because she knew about the black cat Miraculous and that's where she took her inspiration from?
Back then, she would never have thought that her son would know about the Miraculous one day so she thought it was safe to take inspiration from the magic jewels they were hunting down with Gabriel and Nathalie but now that Adrien is the actual black cat Miraculous holder, how insane is that?? 🤯
Going further with this:
What if the book Emilie used to imagine Adrien's bedtime stories was the actual Miraculous Grimoire and that's why Adrien got so intrigued by the book and stole it from his Father's safe? He might have been too young to remember anything or what the book actually looked like but seeing the book again might have unconsciously triggered some deep buried childhood memories in him.
What do you guys think?
Is it too far-fetched or are you also convinced that everything happens for a reason in this show and that's not a coincidence?

Analysis of the Family Agreste Portrait
Quarantine strikes again and since the Agreste family portrait has fascinated me for a loooong while now I decided to put my thoughts into words and write another essay x3
The amount of informations we get out if it is amazing and its not only highlighting the absolute TRAGEDY it is that this family is about to face such a horrible fall out, it also hints at the former family dynamic before everything went to hell.
So make yourself comfortable and get something to drink, because we will be here for a while.

Casual reminder that in the french original version Gabriels and Emilies rings are never referred to in any twin context. Presumably the english dub made up that term and then the Fandom adopted it because english is the Fandom main language online. And while other dubs are definitely and absolutely valid in their own rights, at the end of the day them making up terms isn't going to change the narrative.
Emilies rings in that way have nothing to do with a twin narrative going on in the background. I definitely understand why that term was accidentally brought into the show in "Félix" because of Félix looking like Adrien and Amilie looking like Emilie, but it's nothing more than that.
He's a sweetheart he doesn't deserve this 🥲

Then at the end of the show the creators would pull a sick twisted ending (like most Tiktoks lately) and we would find out that everything was Gabriel Agreste’s imagination and they were all dead.

i was just reading mlb theories and while i don't necessarily believe the sentimonster adrien one i'd actually like to add to it! im also not fully immersed in the lore but i wanted to point out that
if adrien is a sentimonster it would make sense as to why gabriel often calls him "perfect" and things like that, almost like he created him with attention to detail, i mean the man is a fashion designer (but somehow adriens style is horrible), this then would also make sense for adrien not to have existed when gabriel and emilie had made their trip to tibet because they simply could have just either not brought him or made him vawoosh. it's a small detail but still one i wanted to point out.

“Tag!”
The girl with the blue hair got him, again. She aimed for the brunette, but she was to fast on her skates.
“I’m going to get you Chloe!”
Chloe ran shrieking through the people who were gathered to celebrate something concerning the Louvre. Adrien followed her close behind and nearly got her as they bumped into a woman you wouldn’t want to mess with.
“Carol! Mini Agreste! And you other two! What are you thinking! You can’t just run around, screaming, while running into people on an exclusive gala!”
The four had their heads lowered and stared at Audrey Bourgeois shoes as if they were the most interesting thing in the world. That was until the little brunette, Alix, pointed at something. Because Audrey was standing in some jello they dropped while playing catch.Uncontrolled giggles were soon filling the hall they were currently standing in.
Audrey started ranting that they should take her serious and how they are fired. Suddenly a calming hand was put onto her shoulder.
“Oh, Audy, they are only kids, don’t take it to heart. I’m sure they didn’t have any bad intentions.”
While the blond boy jumped in the arms of the woman with a cry of ‘Mommy!’, the bluenette bowed her head.
“Yes, ma’am. We’re very sorry ma’am.”
Tomoe Tsurugi heard her daughter’s voice. “Kagami, what is going on? You just ran off.”
“I’m sorry mother, we were playing tag and then ran into her.” Kagami points at the, now calm, Mrs. Bourgeois.
Emilie reassured Tomoe that everything was alright and nothing happened. Shortly after Alim Kubdel stepped to them and the kids were send of to Alix’ room to play there, where nothing could happen.
This is one of Adrien’s happiest childhood memories. But now this is all over. His mother died a few weeks ago and he’s now 13 but he wasn’t allowed to leave the house or communicate with his friends since than on. So everything he’s been doing the last days was lying on his bed and wait for the day to be over.
He was angrily slamming the keys of his piano because his father wanted him to practice and he did, he was just not good at it. If it wasn’t for Alix and the window he opened so everybody could hear him he would have never noticed Chloe, Kagami and Alix throwing pebbles at his window, but Alix decided to aim for the opened window and hit him on the back.
Knowing no one but those three would dare to throw something at the Agreste Mansion leaned out the window and waved to the them.
“Yo, Rapunzel, ready to break out of this hellhole?”
“Alix! They could hear us!”
“So? At least he’ll know what we think of this! And that nothing can stop us! We’ve given him weeks. We didn’t even know if Adrien was alive anymore!”
“Even if Alix is exaggerating a bit, I have to agree, Gabriel should know that this is no way of dealing with loss.”
“Alright, alright, but how, exactly are we going to get him out? Have you thought about that?”
“I don’t quite believe that this will work, but Alix had an idea.”
“Yes, you’re going to throw a rope from the balcony of the hotel, Chloe, and Gami and I will tie the end to something like a stone and throw it to Adrien. As soon as it’s safely secured on both ends, Adrien will climb out.”
“To the top of the hotel?”
“I thought only over this giant wall, but the hotel would work too.”
“I... actually expected worse.”
“See, Kagami, I told you she would like my idea and if Adrien doesn’t like it, I have another one.”
“No! It’s alright! We’ll go with it!” It was his best and only option.
By those words, Chloe hurried of for the hotel and a few minutes later a rope fell down from the top balcony of the hotel.
“Sooo, Kagami, any idea what we could tie it around?”
“You didn’t think of this?!”
“I didn’t think I would get this far!”
“Alright, I think I have an idea.”
Without another word Kagami sprinted into the hotel. Inside she didn’t have time to wait for the elevator, so she sprinted up the stairs all the way up to the top, to Chloe’s suit.
“Where is it? Where is it?” Kagami was frantically searching for the bag she dropped of earlier, all her fencing equipment was n it, including her helmet which should be heavy enough to throw it over the giant fence into Adrien’s room.
There it was. Under the bench in front of Chloe’s bed. Kagami ripped the big open rumoring through its content and at the bottom of it was her helmet. As she hastily grabber her helmet she tumbled down the few steps and nearly landed face first on the floor. Thanks to various sports like fencing, yoga and some ancient Japanese fighting technique she placed her foot forward and steadied herself.
Back down next to the Agreste mansion found Kagami Adrien and Alix happily chatting, the later holding the end of the rope waiting on Kagami.
“Kagami! You’re back!” Adrien spotted her easily and was waving excitedly at the thought of finally getting out. “What did you do?”
“I got my helmet. We can tie the rope around it.” The short pinkette ecstatically threw her arms around Kagami.
“You’re brilliant, Gami.”
Not even a minute after the two girls had the helmet tied up with thousands of knots because Chloe insisted on more than one. She screamed it from the hotel through a megaphone, it’s marvelous how neither Gabriel, himself, nor Nathalie took notice it. But the Agreste’s were rich, so maybe they had soundproof walls?
But that’s beside the point. Alix took the helmet from Kagami and weighed it in her hands, to calculate how she’d have to throw it. Happy with how the helmet felt in her hands she took a throwing stance, aimed, threw and hit.
“Whooooo!” Alix was jumping and fist bumping the air in celebration.
While Alix was cheering over her victory, Kagami kept a cool head and shouted instructions to Adrien, “Take the rope and tie it to something like... your poll! Yes, that should work.”
Adrien quickly did as told. “Done!” He was already climbing along the rope over the fence and, jumped down into the arms of Alix and Kagami.
“Shit, Adrien. You’ve gotten heavy.”
“Gee, thanks.”
Chloe started shouting through her megaphone again, “Guys, I’m coming down!”
Adrien now once again lives his childhood happily ever after with his best friends, right at his side.

Emilie and Nathalie: *stop what they're doing*
Emilie: Again?
Nathalie: If we look outside and all the mugs are surrounding the house. I swear to-
Adrien: *wide eyes* Nathalie! You can’t swear! That’s not nice!
Nathalie: *sighs cause she knows she’s gonna regret this*
Nathalie: Do you want to do a really funny prank on your father with us?
Emilie: It's overdue. And with Adrien, no one can stop us!

His first word was duck.
It was strange considering, his parents haven’t really told him about ducks. Or the fact that most children say mummy or something because it’s easy and they hear it often. But, no, little Adrien choose duck.
And when he was around 6 maybe, they visited a small lake, with ducks. He ran a bit in front of his parents. So he reached the lake before them.
His parents were caught up in a conversation as they arrived next to their son who was kneeling on the ground with his back turned.
“Adrien? You alright?”
Gabriel’s voice was hesitant as he grabbed his son’s shoulder.
Without a warning Adrien turned around and proudly screamed, “Mummy! Daddy! Look! I have a duck!” And in his hands, he was actually holding a living and breathing duck who was frantically trying to wiggle her way out of the boy’s grip.
Sadly his mom forced him to set the duck, Donald, back onto the ground. And for the rest of the walk his parents held his hands tightly so he wouldn’t capture another duck.
Around 9 years later, his mum passed and he’s now 15, he receives the miraculous of the duck.
The duck miraculous comes with a duck kwami named Daisy, a bow and the power of des-duck-tion. He gave himself the name Sir Duckington.
And now he’s old, has kids, grandkids even and lives on a duck farm. Every duck has a name for example Duck, Donald, Daisy and Sir Duckington, but there were also kids named after his children like Hugo, his love sadly didn’t make it this far so there’s a, no, no duck named bugaboo, but Ladybugs. Thousands of Ladybugs. Only for her, his first love.

He always felt a connection, a bond, to his mother. It was something that couldn’t be explained. It was just so different.
And even after his mother’s death, the bond was still there. The intensity varied from place to a place. It was oddly strong in one of the floors of the house, really no special place. In this place it was like the bond was pulling him towards something underneath the mansion.
The bond was also very present in their favorite park, or an ice cream parlor they often wen,t to or her statue in the garden and her portrait in his father’s studio.
One day the bond was suddenly strong. It was already strong before but this was different as if something activated it and let it’s true power show.
The bond was pulling, no, guiding, him.
Guiding him towards her portrait.
He pressed onto hidden buttons of the drawing, as if it was the most normal thing in the world.
The ground beneath sunk lower. But he didn’t flinch. He knewthis was the right way.
Instead of dirt he saw a grande room with water, trees, butterflies and a casket.
He didn’t need the bond to know that he had to step out of the glass elevator and onto the bridge like metal building and go to it’s very end.
While walking down the path he felt like the main character, he didn’t know if as the hero or as the bad guy. He wasn’t sure about that, but he knew this was important, would change him.
And as he reached the end of it, he saw someone. Someone all to familiar who shouldn’t be here, laying in a casket.
He didn’t know what to do or what to say or... anything.
He just broke down behind the casket not being able to handle seeing his mother like this.
His cries grew quieter over time and he was ready to get back up and face her.
“Emilie, I did it! I fixed it!”
His father. Why had he never told him about this?
Adrien took a few more breaths. Ready to question his father, he stepped out from behind the casket.
“Father, wha-“
Instead of his father there was Hawkmoth standing in front of him, proudly holding up the peacock miraculous.
“A-adrien. What are you doing here?”
“What are youdoing here, father? Why is mother here? A-and why are you Hawkmoth? What is going on?”
Adrien couldn’t hold himself together, he broke down and let everything out. All the bottles up emotions.
Gabriel was shocked to say the least, he didn’t want his son to find out like this.
“Nooroo, dark wings fall.”
The fatherly dude in Gabriel took over seeing Adrien. So he sat down next to Adrien and hugged him.
“I’m sorry.”
