Trans fictives, factives, and other introjects whose gender is different from their source, I see you (and I am one of you!) Navigating source and fandom can be difficult and at times dysphoria-inducing, but I believe in you, and that you can do what is best for you.
It kind of goes both ways for us. Our headcanons affect the exomemories our introjects wind up with early on, and the exomemories they get later on to fill in gaps often affect our headcanons for their sources.

Sometimes kids throw tantrums for "no reason."
But... there is reasons!
There could be all sorts of things you don't know. Most adults, I've noticed, refuse to just talk to a child like a person and ask what's wrong, they just yell at them to shut up.
If the child is anything like I was, it could be unaddressed trauma or mental issues.
If not, well, I imagine experiencing life for the first time must be frustrating and scary! It's no wonder they break down and cry sometimes. I'm an adult who knows how the world works, and I want to do that sometimes too!
It's just so bizarre how often I don't see adults treat children like people, even though they were once children too.

i feel like a lot of the 'i hate kids' crowd would be more tolerant if they understood that due to a kid's limited experience of the world that 4 hour flight might just be the longest they've ever had to sit still for or that trapped finger might literally be the most pain they've ever felt in their short life or they might not have ever seen a person with pink hair ever so of course they want to touch it or nobody's told them yet that they can't run around the museum and they only just learned cheetahs are the fastest animals so of course they want to put that to the test. how were they supposed to know etc etc.

bro i relate SO much with laios’ only reason for being tidy is so he doesnt look like his dad
however he may feel about his father, the fact of the matter is that he looks just like him. add one thing, a beard, and thats even More apparent. but he doesnt like his dad, doesnt want to think about him, so when falin told him he was starting to look like him it probably freaked him out. so he fixed it as soon as he could, and now keeps himself maintained so when he does look in the mirror he doesnt see his father looking back at him.
i am in a very similar situation with my mother, as i look Very similar to her and people have been quick to point it out my entire life. i do not like my mother, for what she has done and has yet to apologize for, but when i look in the mirror i cant help but sometimes see her face. so i do what i can to differentiate, i wear round glasses instead of square, i cut my hair short while she leaves it long, i got piercings!

I try to eat raw meat while cooking to the point my partners don’t trust me with it, but I keep doing it when they’re not looking (I have many carnivorous kintypes)
Also I have food aggression issues and will get aggressive when people try to take my food, whether that’s on my plate or something I stashed away for later (I assume this trait comes from being a dragon)

I mean. She did mess up assassinating a leader. That is a pretty major thing that happened. She hit but did not kill Scarlet.
I still believe in her though. She’d learn from her mistake and make sure not to miss again.

Yeah he's not like an alter but more of an NPC, but Strahd spawned his horse into our headspace. He rides him around sometimes. I've ridden with him before, it's fun.
Fun fact- nightmares' manes don't burn their riders!
Another fun fact- nightmares are as smart as your average commoner! But as mentioned, the one in our headspace is more of an NPC so he lacks that. He's not an autonomous being like our headmates.

But yeah being open minded is so much nicer than getting mad at people for doing things "wrong," because those people will still continue to exist so just spreading negativity for no reason sucks for everyone involved
Love and acceptance is great bc people love and accept you back and the world is a better place for it

Can't express how stress free being open minded is.

Some people have people inside their head and sometimes it's fictional chars? Sick your brains like a pirate ship they're all working to run.
Some people like being treated like a pet dog? Bark bark bro.
Being fat isn't unhealthy but a perfectly normal type of body to have? Kinda beautiful how different we can all be.
Something doesn't make any fucking sense? Cool an opportunity to learn. And even if I can't figure it out it's cool we still have mysteries today.
When I was a kid my mom made me go to soccer practice for my physical health, but I was not a sporty kid and I felt like they did not give us frequent enough snack breaks, so when I got hungry I would sit down on the edges of the field, refusing to play, and snack on dandelion leaves. They were tart and tasted like lemon to me.
