So with Adobe getting blasted again lately, I just want to let everyone know that Affinity's Universal Licence is currently 50% off. Its a perpetual licence, meaning that once you have bought it, its yours for life (crazy, I know). So if you are looking to ditch Adobe, this is a good opportunity.

i don't know who needs to hear it, but CSP is 50% off until the 7th (10/7/21), and it's a really fantastic program. i've been using it for a while and it's phenomenal. it's usually $50 but it's down to $25 for the sale. if you've been debating on getting it, now would be a great time.
you all know i'm not the kind to promote brands, but i bring up this program because it's specifically as good as photoshop (i would argue better), and it's only a 1 time purchase. they give you your program code, which means if your computer dies (like mine did) you can just reinstall it onto a new device, no extra payment, no hassle. they even have an online library that gives really easy access to user-made brushes and assets.
it's a great program, it doesn't do the awful "annual charge" bullshit, and you're specifically not giving money to adobe for photoshop, so i think that's a win all around.

Fuck adobe. Genuinely fuck adobe. This is morally reprehensible. I hope Shantanu Narayen goes straight to hell. This is not the behaviour of a creative software. This is the behaviour of a fucking Trojan virus.
