Well this is worth a shot. Here we go, maximum effort.
I'M MAKING A YANDERE GAME AND I NEED YOUR HELP TUMBLR!
Here's som info!
Kinda similar to Yandere Simulator, but different in key ways
1. The player designs, names, and makes the personality of the character they play as. (There will be presets to choose from, but the player is also able to make a custom character.)
2. It's set in a fantasized version of Feudal Japan.
3. The player chooses their senpai. (As in you get to choose the character you obsess over at the start of the game. Bonus: it can be multiple characters for you Polyamorous people~)
4. The story is largely choose your own adventure. You get to choose your background, and every choice leads to a different ending.
So what's my point in all this? Where am I going with this? Well my dear yanderes and yandere enthusiasts. I want you to help me! Tell me what you want me to add to the game, and I'll see what I can do. DM me if you want to know more about this project of mine, and how to keep up with development. It's not even begun yet, but I promise you I will complete this project, my magnum opus.

The stepping stone, an irredeamable post mortem
A big challenge when making any creative product is being overwhelmed by the sheer amount of ideas you want to express. It can be very difficult to decide what will be part of the first story and what will have to remain unknown. Irredeamable was a particularly difficult case as i wasn`t only trying to make a cohesive world for the game itself, but the first building block of a greater setting that require its own lot of setups. In such conditions, everything felt important and it took a lot of restraint to cut things down until only a tease of the true scope remained. Overall, it was a huge mess to work out, but I'm happy with the result and i feel a lot more free and focused in the pursuit of my future projects now that the foundation has been set up to build upon and i can use the previous reveals to do a lot of foreshadowing with very little.
hey game devs if you're gonna have a lore intro at the beginning of a new game you should turn on subtitles OR let people turn them on themselves. that was a cool looking 2 minute cutscene and all but i have no idea what was said, i'm not starting a new game to see it again, and i'm actually pretty annoyed i had to sit through 2 minutes of, to me, nonsense

Howdy!! I'm actually planning GREY MATTER: CNIDARIA!! Well, I already know the story, but this planning is for me to map how the story will work as an RPGmaker game. I'm not going to give a schedule out publicly… mostly because I don't know how long each phase will take.

GREY MATTER: CNIDARIA is a mystery and psychological horror visual novel with investigation and puzzle elements. The story follows Sojiro Tsutsumi (right on the promo above), a detective recovering from a traumatic incident. Case by case, the bustling city he lives in--Asobi--falls apart into something surreal and strange. Will Sojiro discover why Asobi is unraveling around him, or will he die trying?
GREY MATTER: CNIDARIA is unofficially rated as MATURE 17+. The game will contain gore, implied sexual content, violence, body horror, and themes of abuse, paranoia, and psychosis. Engage with CNIDARIA at your own risk and comfort.

"Other" (name not final) game devlog #1
Hello everyone, aside from art (so far i have only shared older artworks of mine) I also do game developing, on my own, and this is my first devlog!
The game is about you, a robot like being thats called a "guardian", travelling through 4 main areas in order to clean an area out of mimic population and figure out your past
The game, since its my first ever proper game, is rather short (plan to keep it around 4 hours MAX) even if i wanted to make it longer, sadly i am too busy with school to make a longer game on my own. And the game will consist of 4 main areas: Dawn, Sunrise, Dusk, Nightdown and Dawn again for the ending (areas ordered according to progression)
The game is a top down/isometric game with hand drawn 2D graphics, all of the animation and art is going to be done with textured brushes to give it a unique look (pictures below for example of the brushes) but so far I havent decided on the artstyle
Below are some concept art and designs for the game, top being the mc "Sanctuary", middle being some designs for the mimics (first pose has been referenced from a boisvert fanart by xreamy on twitter) and the bottom being a tiny gif for a character known as "Sher Shiner".
So far the team only consists of me and I am open to hear from people who are interested in the project. My asks are also open and I would love to answer various questions about the game
