I don’t even care who fucking wins the presidency this year look at this

Saying "voting doesn't matter" might reach your younger peers online but it certainly hasn't reached Clangus Hargbarg who was part of the kkk in 1951 and still sends in his ballot. He hasn't missed a one.
hey! if you want to vote but feel unprepared, like you won't know who's running for what office near you? then there's an easy way to fix that!
ballotpedia is really simple to use - you just put in your street address, and it tells you what exactly will be on your ballot, so you can look up all of the candidates beforehand!
vote.org works for this as well, and they even tell you where you need to go to vote! and their site shows ballot measures as well as candidates, so you can know ahead of time if you have to vote on your county funding a new school or something
and if you don't have the energy/time to look up each candidate individually, search for "X County Democrats" (replacing the X with your county name) and see if you can find a local democratic group - they'll often have sample ballots on their website showing which candidates they recommend voting for if you're voting blue
don't let fear of unpreparedness stop you from voting! there are amazing resources out there, and all of us can do our part!
Hey. In the wake of this news, I better not fucking see any of you talk about not voting or voting third party (specifically in the presidential election). Biden has endorsed Harris, so she is absolutely the nominee unless something else crazy happens. You know what that means? You’re gonna vote for her. I don’t fucking care if she isn’t your first choice, I don’t care if you think your vote will do nothing. You vote for her, if not for yourself then for everyone else in this goddamn country. You vote so we actually have a chance to vote when the next election rolls around. None of this defeatism bullshit. You vote to keep the other option out of office, even if it’s not the best choice. We can discuss better options for presidency after our rights don’t hang in the balance with Project 2025. So go. Fucking. Vote.
Paul Rudd aka Paul Stud was handing out cookies to voters. He autographs them with his saliva as shown here.

The national forests be f-ed even more if Trump win again. vote.

As someone not in the US I'm also begging you to vote against Trump. We don't want to see the republicans in charge and especially not Trump. Four years of a Horse in the hospital situation was enough.
While I understand you're outraged for Palestine, trust me we are too, don't forget that they are other countries sufferings like Ukraine. And while with the US being an ally of Israel, both sides will keep funding the atrocities in Palestine, at least with the Democrats you won't be helping the atrocities Putin commits in Ukraine, because Trump will do his best to hinder the help for Ukraine. That was what got him impeached the first time around, remember?
And sorry to break it to you but as someone old enough to remember the bombing of Kaboul, the US aren't the Justice League of the world righting all wrongs. No country is as hard as it can be to accept. That doesn't mean you should stop holding your government accountable for their actions or stop expressing your support to Palestine, but don't throw other under the bus while doing so and keep in mind that you have other stuff to worry about that are just as important.
Republicans are trying to take your country back over a century, they want to revert it back to before reproductive rights, LGBTQ rights, racial rights, women rights back to before the world wars. Show the same respect to the people that fought for their rights during the Stonewall riot, during the civil right movements, or women rights movements than you're showing to the people trying to survive in Ukraine and Palestine and go vote.
Besides between the Republicans that doesn't even cares when the people in their own country gets gunned down and are all buddy buddy with firearms maker and Democrats, who are pro gun control, which one do you think is going to be easier to convince of the value of human life?
"Biden is funding a literal genocide!"
Yeah - and so will Trump. Like, if you don't vote for Biden, Trump will win, and he will continue to send aid to Israel - in fact, he will likely send MORE aid to Israel. That's the reality of the world we live in.
And, to be honest, any US president will support Israel. Because the USA is Israel's ally. That's how foreign policy works.
So who do you prefer?
Biden, who has helped lgbtq rights, reproductive rights, infrastructure, the environment, lowered medication costs, supported unions, and done MANY good, progressive things,
Or Trump, who we already know is awful. Who we already know will destroy any human rights Biden managed to gain. Who will not help the environment. Who will not help trans people, or immigrants, or women.
Because those are your two choices. And if you think they're the same, you are dangerous to all marginalized people.

WAKE TF UP AND GO VOTE NOWWWW
USA please listen to me: the price of “teaching them a lesson” is too high. take it from New Zealand, who voted our Labour government out in the last election because they weren’t doing exactly what we wanted and got facism instead.
Trans rights are being attacked, public transport has been defunded, tax cuts issued for the wealthy, they've mass-defunded public services, cut and attacked the disability funding model, cut benefits, diverted transport funding to roads, cut all recent public transport subsidies, cancelled massive important infrastructure projects like damns and ferries (we are three ISLANDS), fast tracked mining, oil, and other massive environmentally detrimental projects and gave the power the to approve these projects singularly to three ministers who have been wined and dined by lobbyists of the companies that have put the bids in to approve them while one of the main minister infers he will not prioritise the protection of endangered species like the archeys frog over mining projects that do massive environmental harm. They have attacked indigenous rights in an attempt to negate the Treaty of Waitangi by “redefining it”; as a backup, they are also trying to remove all mentions of the treaty from legislation starting with our Child Protection laws no longer requiring social workers to consider the importance of Maori children’s culture when placing those children; when the Waitangi Tribunal who oversees indigenous matters sought to enquire about this, the Minister for Children blocked their enquiry in a breach of comity that was condemned in a ruling — too late to do anything — by our Supreme Court. They have repealed labour protections around pay and 90 day trials, reversed our smoking ban, cancelled our EV subsidy, cancelled our water infrastructure scheme that would have given Maori iwi a say in water asset management, cancelled our biggest city’s fuel tax, made our treasury and inland revenue departments less accountable, dispensed of our Productivity Commission, begun work on charter schools and military boot camps in an obvious push towards privatisation, cancelled grants for first home buyers, reduced access to emergency housing, allowed no cause evictions, cancelled our Maori health system that would have given Maori control over their own public medical care and funding, cut funding of services like budgeting advice and food banks, cancelled the consumer advocacy council, cancelled our medicine regulations, repealed free prescriptions, deferred multiple hospital builds, failed to deliver on pre-election medical promises, reversed a gun ban created in response to the mosque shootings, brought back three strikes = life sentence policy, increased minimum wage by half the recommended amount, cancelled fair pay for disabled workers, reduced wheelchair services, reversed our oil and gas exploration ban, cancelled our climate emergency fund, cut science research funding including climate research, removed limits on killing sea lions, cut funding for the climate change commission, weakened our methane targets, cancelled Significant National Areas protections, have begun reversing our ban on live exports. Much of this was passed under urgency.
It’s been six months.

Pink Hair Swag Tourney, Grand Finale

Not to be that guy but if you can vote you need too I don’t care that your vote “doesn’t matter” I don’t care why you’re not voting because by not voting you are choosing the most harmful option to poc , queers , the poor , the disabled and everyone.
people think they shouldn't vote as a protest or whatever because they've been raised on boycotts. which do sometimes work.
boycotts deprive the target of money.
not voting does not deprive the government of money.
it does, however, deprive you of power.
it's not like a boycott.

Remembering how Politico rated JD Vance as the best Republican VP candidate for the “Burn it Down” voters 😂😂😂
hey fellow Europeans (EU), just a friendly and mildly concerned reminder that in less than a month, the European elections are taking place. it's an election with a historically low turnout, but one that is just as important as any other, if not more. the composition of the EU parliament determines the political direction of the EU, and has an impact on all 27 countries through directives and regulations that get voted.
we cannot let far right extremist parties get an even bigger stronghold there than they already do. sadly, there are very significant threats of exactly that happening from many countries.
so please, if you are an EU citizen living in the EU and are of voting age, check the modalities to vote in your country of residence, and make sure to make your voice heard.
