I don't wanna see ANYONE talking about how they won't be voting for Harris in November because of Palestine. This is the best it can possibly get. We're all depending on you. Vote.

"don't vote for Harris or you're supporting genocide" "voting blue is still voting for fascists" Then what else do you expect us to do?
Here are some options y'all seem to insist on and why they're fucking stupid:
Vote Third Party :: Until we have ranked-choice voting (and probably even if we did have ranked-choice voting), it is practically impossible to make a 3rd-party candidate viable. There's not enough of the population that's far enough from moderate to give up their "safe" blue vote for some "revolutionary."
Don't Vote At All :: I'd prefer to pick my enemy. If I'm going to be working in spite of the government, or even against it in some ways, I'd rather the people I'm working against not already be targeting me for being queer, for example. If my options are "bad" or "much, much worse" I'm gonna pick "bad" and try to improve things from there.
Violent Revolution :: It's a cosplay power fantasy in the same vein as the Right-wingers looking for a reason to shoot protesters. Assuming you even have enough people organized and enough firepower to pull that off in the first place…have you prepared a plan to keep the innocents alive and safe? Are you sure you can keep supply chains for food and medicines intact? Are you sure there will be resources available for the disabled, the scared, the young and old, those who won't be able to fight and still need to be taken care of? Turns out revolution is ugly and causes a lot of undue collateral damage. Are the lives "saved" really going to outweigh those whose lives will be upended and destroyed? It's not like a newly-toppled, unorganized country will be able to do anything about Israel/Gaza, so you're just hurting and killing far more people than you're saving.
As for the power you do have to better things (and make Leftism more viable as a political stance in the US)?
Work at the level of your local government. If you're in a small enough town or neighborhood and think you have what it takes, run for local office. Be a local face of the left wing; you're far more likely to sway a small town to your views than the whole country, and each small town with a socialist-leaning government is a dot on the map for larger-scale viability, and you can help keep your community safe while trying to build up in scale.
Build community so we can keep each other safe if worse does come to worst. Push mutual aid initiatives, help at food banks, grow produce to donate to those in need, apply to work at your local free clinic, empower local businesses whenever possible so that if there is a socioeconomic collapse, you and those you love aren't left completely without resources.
Protest, and make it disruptive. You can be disruptive without being violent: graffiti, blocking roads, encampments, sit-ins, to name a few examples. Create inconveniences so it gets people's attention whether they like it or not.
Above all, FUCKING VOTE BLUE. You're choosing your enemy. You get to help decide if the government we're working in spite of is run by milquetoast neoliberal war hawks who do, on some rare occasions, actually make things marginally better…or full-tilt Christo-fascists who want to kill some of us for kissing people with the same genitals as us. There aren't any other options that are going to be picked. It sucks, but at the bare minimum we can pick the option that isn't going to actively murder us while we try to build up viability for a candidate who won't sell out brown people to an ethnostate.
If you aren't doing at least one of the things above, then don't lecture me about how I keep myself and my community safe. I'd love to see a United States (or some future iteration of it) that acknowledges the sovereign rights of indigenous peoples, that doesn't fund genocide, that provides healthcare as a basic human right, that doesn't meddle in every other country's business. But if we are to see that, let alone help that happen, we need to survive this next presidential administration.

He had also recommended investigating pale science to see if it could help against Covid.
The sick thing is that his own party is going along with this nonsense just to get into power.
His supporters have no interest in differentiating and are completely overwhelmed by complex interrelationships.
Perhaps Trump was simply misinterpreted! It's an incredible opportunity to embark on the largest conservation project for renaturalization ever to be realized on American soil. While some may see nature conservation and Trump as two unlikely partners, we believe they can coexist.

Picture if you will, the most racist man. We'll call him Racist McGee. Now racist McGee isn't just racist, he's sexist, he's homophobic, and what's worse, he votes. He will vote in every election no matter what and *you know* who he votes for, cause he won't shut up about it. Imagine his vote is a weight on a scale. His side will always go down if you don't show up to the poll to cancel it out with your vote, and statistically speaking, there's more normal people than their are Racist McGee's so if we all vote, we will win.
But let's just focus on you for a second. You deciding not to vote or deciding both sides are the same or being an edgy cool anarchist who doesn't play by the rules is the same thing as agreeing with Racist McGee. Because you didn't show up and his side goes down. Who knows, maybe you'll get lucky and he doesn't show up, but you won't know that until you show up too. SO YOU HAVE TO VOTE. You HAVE to ATLEAST nullify this asshole, and spread the word, because EVENTUALLY they run out of Racist McGee's and your side goes down no matter what, even if you aren't the tipping point.
But you have to remember, Racist McGee wins every time you don't vote.
Given the extreme stakes of Project 2025 I need everyone to vote Democrat downballot. Everyone. Bring your friends to the ballot box, make a day of it. Have voting parties. Anything to get people energized.
I am dead serious though. If you know or love an lgbtq+ person, or if you care about continuing to have a choice or ability to push for change in this country, you need to vote Democrat downballot. The leftmost candidates must win as many races as possible. We have to completely smash the Republicans at the ballot box to get a chance at establishing ranked choice, to get abortion rights back, to keep Trump from getting more Justices, to secure the right to protest, and to protect and improve democracy.
The only way to move the overton window left where we want it is to keep voting left, persistently, consistently, doggedly.
Please vote. I know you’re depressed about it. I am too, but we have to vote.

Saying "voting doesn't matter" might reach your younger peers online but it certainly hasn't reached Clangus Hargbarg who was part of the kkk in 1951 and still sends in his ballot. He hasn't missed a one.
Alright, guys. With Biden dropping out of the race, and Kamala Harris most likely taking his place, this SHOULD make this election a whole lot easier.
It isn't two old white guys on death's door anymore. It's one old white guy on death's door who wants to turn this country into a place where only rich white males can thrive and a middle-aged black woman who could genuinely do us some good.
It's no longer bad versus worse. It's possibly good versus bad. Of course, we'll have to wait and see what Harris' goals as president are, but this could be a breaking point in this election.

Among the other things that seem to pop out of nowhere, I hear that Harris is apparently "very pro-cop" as a reason why we shouldn't vote for her. I would like some clarification about that and also maybe reasons why we should be voting for her, just for the naysayers.
The Kamala cop thing comes from her jobs as San Francisco District Attorney and California Attorney General, and the fact that Kamala and Cop have a kind of ring to them.
the fact that Harris had worked on enforcing the law was used against her in the height of "Defund the Police" but ultimately was pretty unfair, just quickly I found an article from a public defender about Harris progressive record to be short as both DA and AG she fought to scale back incarceration, she refused to seek the death penalty, she wouldn't prosecute marijuana possession cases (back in 2004), as DA along with then Mayor of San Fran Gavin Newsom she took part in the city's short lived gay marriage moment in 2004
here she is in 2004 marrying a nice Lesbian couple, over 10 years before gay marriage would be legal nation wide and 8 years before President Obama announced her supported it.
