What I have noticed in manga is that Levi’s expressions when he loses someone are different each time and more painful. First we have Isabel and Farlan, in manga he is hurt and angry (similar to his squad) but he still has power to fight and join Erwin. Secondly we have his squad, he is really sad when looking at faces of his squad (or when he sees Petra’s body in anime) more sad than with Isabel and Farlan and then also angry. The next death is Erwin, here he’s reaction is different, he is hurt, sad and looks like he is really tired and last we have Hanji. Here he looks like Mikasa when she lost Eren. His eyes holds nothing, he is deeply hurt and he even doesn’t want to look at her death (he looked at others) His eyes look like he lost his will to live. For me it proves that when the person who was more important to him dies, he looks more hurt. I think Hanji was the most important to him, he loved her like Mikasa loved Eren. His eyes say it all.
Hanji is at the centre and she is more detailed than the others also her expression is different. It means that the most important people to Levi are Hanji, Erwin and his squad (I thought about only Petra but we can see Moblit and I do not think he had strong bond with Levi so it means Levi’s whole squad was important to him) I am crying 😭😭
I want to point out that Eren and Hanji were shown flying. Eren is a bird and birds represent freedom, it means he is free. This bird catches his whole character. Hanji is the plane. It represents her love for technology and science, new world that she wanted to see. They both fly which means that they are dead but free. Part of their soul lives in this new form. Beautiful.

if they're done updating you on the rest of their titan research, the conversation won’t stop there.
hange will find something else to talk about. they never run out of conversation topics, which makes conversing and being around them easy. think of it as the "talks a lot; listens" dynamic.
they really love and appreciate that you listen to them every time esp since others don’t really want to listen to what they have to say.
of course when you aren't busy, you'll help hange out with research in the late hours of the morning.
you guys would do sleepovers too. they'd prepare so many sleepover games, have stories, and sneak in some snacks for the two of you.
helping them clean their room (you doing most of it) because you have to side with levi, it's really bad.

they care for you sm. if you're sick or hurt they're literally travelling at the speed of light to get you medicine, bandages, or anything to make you feel better.
all in all, hange is the bestest friend ever and is always there for you no matter what you need :)

I think this is a great analysis.
I find it interesting that in this new opening our two geniuses, Armin and Hanji, are both shown with their faces covered in blood. Armin clearly got the worst end of the stick, but notice that the only part of his face which isn’t covered with blood is his mouth. Meanwhile most of the blood on Hanji’s face is around hers.
What does this really symbolize, other than the fact that if they were to smash their faces together, they would be completely covered in red?
Armin’s segment of the opening is pretty straight forward in the symbolism. He is presented as the only shining light when all of the other candles have gone out; showing his brilliance, even when he is symbolically covered in blood. He can make the right choices even in moments of dread; simple, but effective imagery.
Meanwhile Hanji’s segment is less symbolic, and more straight forward of showing her personality. She is smiling at this moment, telling of her blood thirst.
The blood patterns makes me think that this was a deliberate way of showing the differences between these two very intelligent characters. Armin is shown to be level headed, and Hanji is more spontaneous. Armin has a severe expression (in the next frame), and Hanji is excited.
I find it interesting that the anime team chose to display these differences and draw parallels between these two characters. Because Armin and Hanji are indeed very different characters, but there is one thing which they have in common; their intelligence. They act very differently, but are often thought to have the same thinking pattern.
It’s also interesting to note that the people they are the closest to - Eren and Levi respectively - are also very different characters, similar only in their desire to eradicate titans (showing a similar way of thinking at that end). And Eren is complementary to Armin by having the blood thirst of Hanji, whereas Levi is complementary to Hanji by having the calmness of Armin.
I am glad the anime made this comparison.

The Mysterious Black Jacket’s Origins
Fandom has been in an uproar ever since Levi appeared in a black jacket and Isayama said the jacket originally belonged to someone else. Why? Because our beloved Hange appeared also wearing a black jacket AS SEEN BELOW!
Cool, right? Levihan fandom speculates that the jacket was Hange’s first.
But then Erwin appeared wearing a black jacket.
And the eruri side of Tumblr decided it fit Erwin best, so it must have been his first!

My theory is Hange. That’s the real reason she’s so pissed off when Keith tells his story. All this time she thought that he’d given her The Legendary Jacket of Badassery, but really he doomed her–and Levi, by extension, since she let him borrow it–to foreveraloneness.
In a fit of rage she tried to throw it away, but Erwin, for the first time in his life, felt real pity for an inanimate object, and he rescued it (very heroically probably, as the wind caressed his face and the rain flattened his perfect hair in the major storm he braved to fish it out of the trash). It fits him and his tragically brooding self. He had to prove to us how willing he was to give up EVERYTHING for his goals.

It was a particularly stressful day for Hange. They were loaded with work, pile after pile of documents, and it seems like it won't end. As Hange is eating their dinner, you take care of the mess they made when they got home. Returning the bottle of wine to its shelf and turning the tv off, you hear Hange announce that they're done with their food.
Standing a few steps away, you watch as hange goes to wash their plate. You see that they finished their plate causing you to smile.
They're so focused at the task while moving their body slowly. They're definitely drunk, you thought to yourself as you hold in your laughter. They turn around once they're done, smiling when they see you. You place a kiss on their jaw.
“Thank you.” You take their hand, leading the both of you towards the couch to lounge for a bit before heading to bed. Hange is stumbling a little, the liquor still in their system. Once you're both sat down, Hange is all over you. Littering kisses all over your face and neck, their hands are holding on to your breasts and waist.
You indulge in it until you remember that they drank. With the little strength you have, you try pushing them away.

There are two types of drunk Hange: (1) The Hange who only goes drinking with friends and (2) stressed Hange who just wants to let loose

They really don't care what others think (they never did even when sober)
