So on Voyager season 3 Before And After
Was anyone else was weirded out by Harry being with Linnis?
Sure, I can believe Tom marrying Kes in this scenario. But no child of Tom Paris would be raised without uncle Harry, right? There is no reason he would not be involved in raising her. So unless he was gone in some way for most of her first year of being alive, wouldn't it be problematic for them to be a couple?
Unless it's very different in ocampa culture since they grow up faster and live way shorter lives than most of the species we see on the show.
One of my favourite things about voyager is that Harry always shows up to the senior staff briefings. Like even in season 1 when he was fresh out of the academy, Janeway just said “yep, that ensign with about three days experience is definitely a senior officer.”
We’re watching Enterprise for the first time and appreciating what a great job they’re doing depicting the timeframe Janeway’s describing. Also, really loving Enterprise!
