How did you make your dividers? At least for broken promises (also I loved that fic)

(glad you liked the fic đź’—)

I've posted a tutorial on how I make my headers and it's essentially the same thing. I'll link that: here.

It's pretty much following those steps, except I use the X Header size for the image. I find the images I like on Pinterest. Like: chains, hands holding each other, and I type in aesthetic after each one because that usually cuts out the stock/ugly images.

Then, I use picsart's cut-out options on the images to get the shapes I want. I align it into one straight line and crop the image down.

It's a lot of experimenting to figure out what the right step is for you. but it's pretty much the same steps as my header tutorial.

I headcannon that algebraliens have skin, actually that’s canon. But they have a little bit of fuzziness above their flesh. Sometimes they grow it out so it’s more like tufts in certain spots (X for their head and cheeks, Four for their neck).

Things that remind me of BPD with BFDI characters!

this is something random I thought of, but the way some characters act is how BPD feels or looks like (at least for me).

Book: having an episode related to paranoia and being abandoned, and the pain with it. Book always wanted to protect Ice Cube and wanted the best for her. She was also very attached to Icy, and still somewhat is. Ice Cube could be seen as a favorite person to Book, something very common for people with BPD. Book also lost a lot of her friends on BLEH due to the TacoBook arc.

Four: mood swings, fear of abandonment, impulsivity(?). Four’s mood switches up a lot and he is also very afraid of being abandoned, as seen in BFB 16. His impulsive behavior could be seen as hurting and mistreating the contestants and hurting X, thus causing drifts in their relationship.

Leafy: unstable relationships, isolation, impulsivity. Leafy has shown to have unstable relationships with her friends, for example, Bubble. She constantly fights with her, but then goes back to her and wants to be her friend. Leafy can also be an example of impulsive behavior from her buying Dream Island from the Announcer and also hurting others. Her friendship with Firey was also very unstable.

Clock: favorite person, ruining reputation/relationships, idealizing and obsessing. Clock had an obsession with Winner and constantly idolized them, making them uncomfortable and hurting the friendship. This led to Clock feeling extremely guilty after Winner confronted him, and he tried to make peace by trying to make up with Winner with the help of Two. However, in TPOT 10, they luckily make up.

HOW DOES A KIDS CARTOON FULL OF TALKING OBJECTS PORTRAY MENTAL ILLNESS SYMPTOMS BETTER THEN ACTUAL MEDIA?! It makes me so sad when all of them get hate, YOUR EPISODES DONT DEFINE YOUR TRUE SELF.

at the very end of zero day, when the boys used their last bullets, they were thinking of very different futures.

andre had never been a really religious guy, but he still believed there was something in the afterlife. he imagined standing at the foot of his grave, watching himself get lowered into the ground. the deep and dark soil would never lay a finger on his soul as the only parts of him being laid to rest were his flesh and bones. his spirit had escaped through his head, kickstarted by the bullet that tore through the same exact path.

cal, on the other hand, had pictured absolutely nothing. he didn’t picture black nor silence. his mind was empty. it was impossible for him to even conjure up a picture of what the afterlife would look like. he didn’t want anything after death. he wanted one life which he’d had and used well. there was nothing more cal’s body and mind could endure. the bullet through his brain was enough to ensure that, severing his eyesight and turning off every sensor in his body. even if there was an afterlife, there was no way cal would experience it.

So if we want to insert our own OCs into the story do we just send you an ask or can we make our own noncannon drabbles?

You can do noncanon drabbles, and even noncanon character files. Tag me in them and I’ll reblog them on here! You can also submit them to the blog directly, and they will be posted with the tag #submission.

This will make them semi-canon: your characters and the events of your drabbles will never appear in canon posts and they may contradict with other AU content, but they are nonetheless a recognized part of the AU.

Thank you for your interest and I’m excited to see what you create!

sometimes im thinking to myself and i catch myself trying to justify why i like being autistic and trans. i feel like this is just internalized transmedicalism tbh because i shouldn't have to justify liking myself the way i am. idk if anyone else has felt this way but PLEASE you do NOT have to justify liking yourself. you can just like yourself.

and sometimes i also catch myself grasping for reasons as to why im not faking being trans because im happy with my body. i shouldnt have to feel this way. i dont need to dislike myself to know my gender. i dont hate being a girl, i love being a boy.

Thinking about Gotham Public Schools again.

You have to wonder if just Gotham generally being Gotham impacts what students learn in school.

Are students taught from a young age how to solve riddles in english class? We always had like warm ups we had to do in english class like a prompt to write about or something. Do Gotham kids have to solve riddles every day to practice?

What about Chemistry class? Do they learn the chemical composition of fear toxin/joker venom/bane venom/etc and how to neutralize or make an antidote? Do they learn how to test water and chemically and biologically filter it to make it drinkable in a pinch? Do they learn how to filter air and make an on the fly gas mask?

Are they taught self defense in PE class? Do they start in kindergarten and is it their longest unit?

Do they learn how to defuse a bomb in engineering class?

Is there a whole unit in biology about Ivy's plants and pollens?

Is half their health class just dedicated to basic first aid? Do they learn more complicated stuff like how to give stitches or fix a bullet wound?

Is criminal psychology or forensic the highest demanded elective at the high school?

Do they learn about the the black market and underground economy in Econ class? Do they talk about the basic monopoly Wayne Enterprises has on Gotham? Do they talk about the historic causes of poverty?

Are they taught about crime lords influence in politics?

Do they learn about vigilantes and rogues in their history class?

Is the "what jobs do your family have" assignment never used because honestly who wants to hear about your uncle or parent or cousin working for Joker or Penguin or Black Mask?

IDK just like what do Gotham students learn that freak out anyone else when they hear it?

i am upset that i just watched a video called "the death of analog horror" where the person talks about the genre becoming stale without even mentioning angel hare or welcome to dreamworld (if you haven't heard of that, it features hunted animatronics, but they still act like people, also all the images are art pieces. check it out if you have the chance) like i know it was probably bc the person just didn't hear about them but the thought of them being obscure also makes me sad :(

So, I actually watched the video you mentioned after I saw this. I’ll be completely honest; I’ve had it in my recommended for a bit now and have been avoiding it. Don’t get me wrong, it’s good to question things (especially things you like) and be critical, but a lot of those videos are always really pessimistic, and kinda overdramatic. And yeah. I dislike this video. Nothing against the creator, of course, he’s just saying his opinion, and I can respect that. He seems to be a fan of horror and this video was probably made from a good place. However, I feel like some of his points might not have been the most informed/researched (like how he showed a 'Mystifying The Oracle' Video as the latest TMC video). Yes, there are a lot of tropes in analog horror and many cliches. But that could be said about literally any genre ever! But regardless people are allowed to dislike cliches. But I personally don’t have an issue with them if you take that idea and do something new with it. I think one of the main reasons I dislike videos like this is because I used to be an analog horror hater. Believe it or not. I thought Analog Horror would be like how cartoon creepypastas were, with bad editing and the same tired cliches with no substance. (Which by the way if you want some fantastic retelling of those creepypastas VibingLeaf’s work is really cool.) I was hesitant about checking out TWF because of how similar it looked to FNAF. But to me, it wasn’t really all that similar once I actually checked it out. And yes, analog horror has cliches. Even some of my favorite series have things I don’t personally like or don’t think are scary in them. But analog horror is so much more than stretched smiles and glitchy TV screens to me. I think one of my favorite things about Analog horror is actually seeing how people take similar or the same concepts and make them their own. Gemini and TMC is such a perfect example of this. I don’t really think agree with saying TMC “improved” upon Gemini because although the “fake people” and “alternates” are similar concepts on the surface, they’re different in how they function and behave. White Stag is a pretty cool series I checked out last night, and I was worried for a second; it was gonna be too similar to TMC or Gemini. But it wasn’t. It has elements I like from TMC or Gemini, but I thought it stood on its own after I watched it all. As you said, there are some great Analog Horror series if you look, like Angel Hare. And I actually have heard of Dreamworld! but I didn’t know it was analog horror :0 I’ve seen a few Rainbott vids and like their work from what I’ve seen so maybe I’ll check it out. But don’t be sad! On the bright side, Angel Hare has been getting a ton of traction thanks to creators showing it to their audiences like Night Mind. I found it through ManlyBadassHero’s playthrough of the game right before it blew up. The East Patch all seem like lovely people and I really wish them all the best I’m excited to see what they make next analog horror or otherwise!
