I swear, each new chainsaw man chapter has me on the edge of my seat

These words popped into my head a few months ago and I was able to write them down...

Came across Tumblrs I had to block...there's 5 of them! Ya'll are disgusting.

Messed up stuff going down at work (corporate level) plus losing staff. So I will be working later and a few 12 hour shifts.

Drawing time might be in short for the next two months as they hire new people (I think I'll be training them).

Plus side is overtime pay which will help with the vet bills I've accumulated lol.

I think despite all this I'll still manage to get my update out before end of the year.

I will say this though: the outcome of the election in November will heavily impact my update schedule as I will have to make sudden, unexpected moving choices if Cheeto face wins.

Also next Saturday is my Certification test I'm so nervous but hopefully I will do well it will be a big step in my career if I get this.

Was doing some research about the Gresley A1/A3 locomotives and apparently Great Northern, the first built besides our beloved prototype Gordon, was completed in April, although we don’t know what time. The Flying Scotsman is the fourth brother, between him and North was Sir Frederick Branbury, and his birthday/buildday is February 1923. So, we can say that Gordon is probably a year older than North, given the time frame, and I believe it’s considered that Gordon is roughly a year or two older than Scotsman, especially given how long a new model is made after a prototype to remove hiccups and kinks (Sorry, Gordon dear). So, I honestly think the fandom is right celebrating Gordon’s birthday in the April (4th month for our #4 express engine) as it would be a year before Great Northern was completed.

Why must i always be so afraid to share my art, this is horrible... so many people on here make such amazing art. Why can't i just enjoy it without feeling like everything is a competition?

ACROSS THE SPIDERVERSE SPOILERS (miguel thoughts)

this could be absolutely wishful thinking BUT all thirst aside, i really hope miguel doesn't end up as The Villain Asshole in the next movie. i know spot still exists and stuff so obviously we have a villain, but i desperately need miguel to NOT be another villain atop that; i need the spider society and all that goes into it to remain and for miles to be on good terms with it. i think villainizing miguel that far, to the point of him being casted out or completely overrun by other spiders, would be a major disservice to the backstory they've fleshed out for him and a huge ignorance to the good, deep writing and nuances they've given him so far. the man saw his daughter DIE IN HIS ARMS and wears the guilt of destroying an innocent universe through his own naivete. to make someone like that a Big Main Villain that's crushed and defeated at the end of the story is Lazy Writing, imho. it's easy to villainize traumatized characters. he also knows no other way of protecting himself and the multiverse and people in it besides what he's been doing already. but i really enjoy miguel as a "good guy going about it in the wrong way" and i hope and pray that's what they keep him as, because those guys usually get redemption. obvs you can't really kill him bc he's spiderman 2099 but you can kill a character with writing it into the ground, and i am hoping and praying miguel o'hara gets to come around back to being a good guy doing the right thing the right way.

in my perfect world he gets to bond with the kids even a little after his redemption arc and expresses apologies to them. he is after all the adult here and shouldn't be treating 15 year olds this way, but i think a man who lost a young daughter would know that. i think he's just too villain-coded for his writing to make him have that realization, that he has more kids to protect and he should be looking out for them. iirc gwen or someone does call him a good leader in the film so obviously he's been doing some things right, i just want him to do more things right

from mulling on the train and after reading some poetry

people like to say to know someone is like reading a book... but I think it's more like a bookstore. finding your way to the bookstore, getting lost several times. and when you're there it almost feels surreal. spending the first 10 minutes of your stay marvelling over all the books you want to read, looking for treasures. appreciating the books you have neither seen nor read. leaning down to make friends with the little cat that lives in the bookstore. acquainting yourself with the smell of books, learning the different shelves.

reading my piece that was published, I remember the trepidation I felt while writing it. I'm still not really proud of it for some strange reason... but I think.. my voice was authentic there? everything I wrote still holds true lol. I realise the uncertainty I felt while writing it was really conveyed in the poem... in a way I still don't like it bc it's so unsure, but it's precisely bc it's so unsure that I also feel yeah, this is still my voice, this really is me finding the right words to talk about my family and roots and heritage. I think I'm still searching for the right words lol.

if Chinese is my mother tongue and Teochew is my father tongue and I am bad at both, whose tongue did I inherit? if I inherited them, where did I lose them, at what point in time? or if I never inherited them, how did they get lost? where? why?

what does a family photo show? what are we trying to preserve with family photos? is a family photo that is missing some members a family photo?

Okay, I do love my job! Downside is it´s not that well paid but I have time to write and do other stuff. And that´s important for me.

I was just cleaning my room when I found some of my old photos. Yeah, those days when I barely ate and fainted often just so I could be thin and “pretty” girl. And when it obviously backslashed, my dad gave me the most shit about being “ugly”. 

Yeah, I am so happy I don´t live with him anymore.

I am in middle of writing little story with Tredd, and literally in halfway through it I switched to Luche? Lazarus, not everything I am writing should be about you!

Did I tell you that I LOVE time travel fix stories? Because I just found another one with Nyx from this amazing author CarminiteWyrm . And let me say that I am hooked on that!! ( Especially chapter 5 hits pretty strong, and nooooo I didn´t cry my eyes out ... I would have told you more, but that would be SPOILERS!)

I am sorry I wasn't active these past few days. But lot of stuff happened like my new part time job. So now I am running from job to job 😅 And other stuff which I can't share right now.

But don't worry, I will always make time for writing. So you can always send me your ideas ❤️

And I also have got a new ideas for writing. What would you readers said about our glaives in video games but ... They would be aware of it?
