I imagine IC to be like a very old prototype model that doesn't even have legs, just connected to the chamber forever with tubes and wires. He's dusty and grumpy all the time about his younger brother - Pipeyard
And I think Pipeyard would be a much younger iterator, with legs. His hands and legs are covered in void fluid because he works every fucking day digging and digging and digging and digging deeper. It's also HOT AS FUCK in his region, so he is forced to wear short clothes

This is my color theory final! I made a Pigeon Book!
By made a book I mean I bound all of these and covered it in leather and made a real looking book. Every time I bound a page, I felt like a medieval monk it was awesome.
