Fun fact! One of the flowers in Jin's bouquet is chrysanthemum. Purple chrysanthemums often symbolise care! [I actually really like this one tbh, cause of the symbolism of him caring for his mother.] Violet chrysanthemums symbolize the pain of losing a loved one. [I'm not okay.] and there are lilies which mean purity, commitment and rebirth.
For Rui's, I have a few guesses: Yellow/Orange Zinnia [the rounder flowers] - honouring memories dear/health and vitality. Buddleia [the ones on his jacket(?)] - new beginnings. Orange chrysanthemum [the bigger flowers]- Feeling of delicate love Marigold [could also be the ones on his jacket] - warmth, vitality, sun's power.

I have a thought on this picture of Jin.
What if these flowers are all of his mother’s favorites? Not only the flowers, but colors too!
Jin is often seen with icy blue, white or royal blue. Yet in this picture, it’s purple. Why purple? The other two Haku and Rui are wearing their own color. Minus, Haku having blue in the mix.
But it really got me thinking on why purple for Jin? Especially blue roses are in Haku’s.
Jin definitely strikes me as a type of man that would incorporate his mother’s favorites into his wedding. Her favorite color, flowers, maybe have a wedding at her favorite place where she loves to visit or got married at, or was raised. This here makes me love Jin more and more.
This poor man misses his mother ಥ‿ಥ

man... i fucking love it when people give blonde characters giant roots or yellow streaks in fanart. imagining cloud strife with shity box bleach and a plastic bag on his head brings me joy.
i love it esp when its fan art of the other characters bleaching there hair for them. looking at like all of the homesucks who draw dave,dirk and rose doing each others bleachjobs. even if its just projecting onto the characters its such a simple thing i rly like seeing in fanart.
