Averett Friend-of-Beasts

Averett Friend-of-Beasts is a stocky built, blue furred piglin/qilin hybrid with a massive mane of cloudlike hair the color of sherbet. They have lavender antlers and scales and glowing green eyes. They wear a dirty tan tailcoat over a tan vest, mauve pants, and a white shirt paired with mauve gloves. all with gold accents. the text dubs them Averett Friend of Beasts, aka Beastfriend.

Averett Friend-of-Beasts, or Beastfriend as they are known to many, is certainly a sight to see within their small town. Partner to Cygnus Hollola, Beastfriend is often seen in and around the Tea Shop the two call home, regaling the young ones with tales of their grand adventures. When not at home, Beastfriend is often found on one of their regular expeditions, often accompanied by 3 or more beasts of some sort, hence their name.

They are a dedicated naturalist, documenting the many species of freonds, feonds, fauna and flora they see through every biome they travel. Though not new information most of the time, the care they take to draw and individually detail a page or more dedicated to each creature is nothing short of impressive.

If you do visit the Hollola tea shop, look carefully upon the walls, you may just see Beastfriend’s many drawings lovingly framed by their husband. All being used as decor.

The image is titled "ORCS, The Gentle Giants" with text that reads as follows. Orcs are born with floppy, Pig-Like ears and fur all over their bodies. They grow tusks as they age and their head fur develops into a mane which is styled like hair. Cropping ears as adults is a commonplace practice to prevent injury while fighting. Orcs are huge! They stand a head and shoulders over any human they encounter. Orcs are big, fat, and strong. Their bodies naturally store a lot of fat due to low metabolisms, which allows them to better survive harsh environments. A skinny orc is either unhealthy or sick, and weight gain is a sign of coming back to health. All of this is placed by an age progression of a male orc from baby to adult, showing how his youth stripes fade and his hair darkens as he ages. The fourth image is an unclothed fullbody of the same orc, with a marking denoting him as standing 2.3 meters (7 foot 6 inches) tall.
The image is titled "ORCS, The Gentle Giants" with text that reads as follows. Orcish dress tends towards light fabrics and exposed skin decorated with ropes. Sandals are the most common footwear for orcs, though going barefoot is also a common practice among individuals. Orcs value comfort and quality over covering up, so while they may not wear much, their few clothes are always handmade and almost always high quality. Even adventuring, Orcs tend towards classes like Monk, Druid, or Barbarian so they don't have to weigh themselves down with hefty metal armor. The naturally thick hides of orcs afford them some amount of natural armor, allowing them to dress in a fashion that some may deem 'inappropriate' for an adventurer. Adventure is a point of pride in orcish communities as a way to test the orcs skills and as a way to prove they are ready to lead a community or family. Nearly all orcish parents and all community leaders were once adventurers, making adventuring a requirement for any orc wanting to lead. The text is placed around 3 orcs dressed in various semi-revealing clothes, with the third orc covered up the most due to his job as a barbarian.

Orcs my large chunky beloveds. Had a few ideas regarding the appearance and culture of orcs, so I finally took the time to draw them out and jot them down.

I have more thoughts, namely that the 'orcs are aggressive' misconception comes from a deeply ingrained cultural focus on protecting those you love to preserve community. That and they have stripes as babies kinda like wild hogs but lose them later in life, but I didn't quite have enough of them solidified to make a whole third sheet.

Also I wanted them to look more like pigs and wild boars because those are cute.

Astraoimh, a large whale like Akero patterned like a singularity. Their many fins have an appearance similar to wings and their tendrils sparkle with golden stars. They have 6 lapis eyes, 3 of which are visible, and one pair of which are somewhat obscured by a golden frond-like halo.
Astraoimh's bipedal form in which they appear as a tan skinned humanoid with lapis eyes and dark hair. Their legs end with the same golden stars as their true form's tendrils as do their arms, though they're covered with deep purple gloves. They wear a sheer purple skirt with a spiky star trim layered over a purple leotard, an opaque purple skirt-cape with golden star patterns both over top as a trim and on the inside, and a sheer purple capelet resembling the fins of their true form. Half of their face is obscured by an ornate golden disc which sits in front of a golden halo resembling both laurels and a singularity. They hold a blue and golden bow in which they have a glowing golden Star Arrow drawn back and ready to fire.

Astraoimh. Also called Lights In The Void and Star Archer. God of Stars, Space, and the Void. Astraoimh Took their position shortly after their arrival from the end. Widely regarded as a comforting figure, Astraoimh swims and space swims around them, letting loose shooting stars from their quiver. Astraoimh appears as either a large akero patterned like the event horizon of a black hole, or a humanoid archer, typically with starry limbs and lapis eyes, dressed in some sort of flowing, lacy ensemble. Will respond to Aoimh (aiv) if called.

Astraoimh is considered to be responsible for most modern star showers and is a popular figure in children's books. They occasionally manifest in places other than the void but are most commonly spotted there.

Astraoimh dislikes shrines, considering the open sky to be a shrine all of its own. Astraoimh is for the @halfstack-smp

The first image is titled "Elves, The Faewilde's Children" and reads as such. 'Elves are the living, breathing evidence of the Faewilde's once strong grip on the material plane. Despite similar features, upon a first glance, the primary groups of Elves are actually somewhat distinct subspecies. Light Elves (Fig. 1) have brightly glowing eyes and hair, and their blood is either a bright gold or silver. Wood Elves (Fig. 2) have leaves for hair and chlorophyll in their veins. And Dark Elves (Fig. 3) have shadows in their eyes, hair, and as their lifeblood. Despite these differences, mixes of different subtypes are possible via the inherently magical way Elves produce kids. Elves do not have biological sexes. They have no need for them and present however they see fit. Additionally, they're all built in a very similar way, lanky arms, flat chests, and only eight fingers and eight toes. They have colorful patches of 'scales' that serve as some level of natural makeup. Despite their lanky builds, Elves are actually deceptively small, standing a bit shorter than humans on average. Elves are frequently described as both 'etherial' and 'alien' by those who frequently interact with them, seeming somehow disconnected from the rest of the beings on the material plane.' This text surrounds three bust drawings of a golden haired, dark skinned light elf (Fig. 1), a tan, green haired wood elf (Fig. 2), and a pale purple shadow haired dark elf (Fig. 3). There is also a full-body drawing of a dark purple skinned, glowing silver haired light elf labeled as 160cm tall.

The second image is titled "Elves, The Faewilde's Children" and reads as such. 'Elves are all born with wing buds that grow larger as they age, storing a good portion of the Elves magical power. Wing buds are considered to be a sacred part of the body and nobody but family members or partners are typically allowed to touch an Elf's wing buds. An Elf's wings will open on one of two occasions. First, when an elf reaches two hundred and fifty years, the middle of their natural life cycle, their wings will open on their own. Second, if an elf has their system overloaded with too much magic for them to store within their body, their wing buds will burst open into full wings. Sorcerers are the most prone to this sort of magical overload, so seeing a young sorcerer elf with fully developed wings isn't too uncommon. The already flowy linens and silks of elvish clothing make for comfortable flight clothes, though the tops are often altered to include a hole or other sort of space for the wings to pop out through. In general, elvish clothing is light and airy but not revealing, with most of the focus placed on harmonious colors and complex, often hand painted patterns. This is because Elves, like all fae, have an affinity towards beauty.' This text surrounds three images, a juvenile light elf with wing buds, an adult dark elf with full wings and a silky dress, and a young wood elf with full wings and a silky dress and top.

Elves! I had a lot to say and didn't manage to fit it all in, but I fit most of it!

It's important to note that, because elves are full fae now (why they aren't in core 5e confuses me), they have a weakness to iron and take double damage from iron weapons.

Large amount of DnD animal people "Wilderfolk" from a sketch session.

Wilderfolk are made 1 of 2 ways. They were either once an animal given Sentience and an upright stance by Magic, The Gods, or a Patron, or they were a person (usually assumed human) cursed (or blessed) into their shape by Magic, The Gods, or a Patron. Method of transformation doesn't entirely matter and Wilderfolk largely end up with a standardized appearance regardless.

The different group names are a courtesy, given to the Wilderfolk BY the Wilderfolk to build a sense of community. Some names are broader than others due to inconsistent naming conventions, but each group name is fairly consistent in telling you what to expect.

a digital illustration portrait of a young female lighthouse keeper. A young white woman frowns down in the direction of the oil lamp she is holding, a large shadow cast behind. Her hair is red and curly, tied past the shoulders. She is wearing a brown coat and waist coat, which are a bit shabby looking.

"It's spoooky to go alone, take this lamp with you!" 🕯️🕯️🕯️

a traditonal drawing of a red faced ape sitting in water. The picture of the ape is projected on a large wall, and a cursor and arrow button are visible.
The room around is black, with speech bubbles showing a conversation between two unseen people
1. "I don't like looking at this monkey"
2. "Close your eyes then"
1. "I can't close my eyes, that's how they get you"
2. "Who's 'they'?"

studying an art degree sometimes means staring at a monkey every monday morning for 10 minutes

and I must say... i don't trust him

A scan of an orange square risograph. Aligned to the left, it reads "1, 2, 3, deep breath
and hold it
3, 2, 1, and let it go"
small organge dots fill the background and red circles like a water ripple, along with messy red lines, obscure some of the words.

another orange riso! 🐀 inspired by The Narcissist Cookbook's song 'Castle of Rats' ---- it's real good!

a lineless digital illustration of a young girl in a school uniform falling through the air. She's half tucked in a ball, arm and leg flailing out. She has reddish white skin, brown blonde hair that sticks up from the wind. Though rough and undetailed, she has an expression of panic. In the background there are blue rectangles curving into the distance.

Maybe my oldest OC, thought up this very unqualified spy when I was 11

A coloured illustration of a dungeons and dragons character. A female half orc with green skin looks to the side, away from the tattered book in her hands. She is wearing an oversized, red letterman jacket. She is dressed for the cold, with a fur lined cloak with a hood underneath and snow boots. Attached to her belt are old fashioned ice skates. Standing against a dark blue background, snow swirls around
An illustration of the same dungeons and dragons character. The female half orc is a young woman with black hair and green skin, she wears a grey fur cloar with a red satchel. She seems pensive as she holds a closed spellbook. An ice skate is tied to her belt. Lightly injured, she has a small cut on one cheek with some smudged blood on her face and cloak.
