I looked down at the letter I was writing, I hoped one day councilman would return them; He never did. So, I just have to give it to him in person. I had made sure to sign the letter off in my blood before leaving an extra note attached to the obvious love confession. “And if love is madness, may I never find sanity again.” — John Mark Green. He sent a look to me while holding the bloodied letter and smirk causing a spark to flow through my body. "Come downstairs." I eagerly followed behind hiking my shorts up a bit in eagerness. I watched as he sat down at a little round table and held out his pinky, I decided to take the chance and sit across from him conjoining our fingers. "Once we are connected, you have consented to answer all of my questions. Understood?" I nodded obediently, "Yes sir." I watched as he shuffled in his seat a bit before looking at my boobs. "What's your biggest fear?" I didn't even hesitate, "Being rejected." He looked at me, "Is that why you're here?" I nodded at him. "Now what turns you on most?" (Y/N) was the definition of a book worm. Reading every chance she had and buying more every time she shopped. Mountains of paper backs and hard cover ones filled her shelves and every horizontal surface in her room. Most books she had boughten and hadn’t even read. She told herself she would. Eventually. With all the buzzing creativity she kept reading it was no wonder she was determined to write her own. About the spectacular and undeniably dangerous events that happened in Mystic Falls.

It was a Saturday at the Salvatore Boarding House. (Y/N) was cheerfully making her way to the kitchen, humming the tune of an old lullaby. Eyeing her laptop on the kitchen counter she quickly snatched it, taking it to the living room. Oddly this old house was more like her home in a way. Since her parents of course threw her on the streets not supporting her in the career department.

But she had Damon and Stefan. Close friends that were practically family, who didn’t mind having her crash as long as she worked hard for her dream. Which of course she would.

Plopping down on the couch she quickly got comfortable and began to write. Her fingers moved swiftly across the keyboard. Words turning into a story waiting to be told. “She felt a spark… no.” (Y/N) frowned. Her ring finger gently hitting the backspace, erasing the words off the screen. Taking a deep breath she sighed. Her eyes wandered around the room hoping to draw inspiration.

“Oh shit!” Jumping in her seat, (Y/N) quickly grabbed onto her laptop before it fell, standing and quickly turning to see the infamous Kai Parker looking at her smugly.

Placing a hand on her chest she felt heart hammer inside her chest. “Jesus! What the hell is wrong with you?” She seethed.

Kai paid no mind to her outburst. She was so cute when he got mad at her. The way a creased formed in between her eyebrows and she stared at him angrily. Her lips pointing down in a disapproving manner. He grinned. “Awww you’re not happy to see me? Bummer. I was so looking forward to seeing my little (Y/N). Look at you working on your book. Can I read it?”

Of course Kai would get a knock out of seeing her scared shitless. Giving him an “are you serious?” look she replied with a simple “no”. Pouting Kai swiftly sat on the couch patting the seat next to him while grinning at (Y/N), expecting her to comply and sit.

She narrowed her eyes at him looking him straight in the eyes. Damn those eyes. Those eyes always won her over. She was thankful he had never asked her to do anything because she knew she could never tell him no as long as he asked her. They were beautiful and sexy, especially now that her was cheekily smiling up at her. Biting the inside of her cheek she tried to look away feeling the heat start to rush to her cheeks.

“You’re crazy.” She muttered complying with his wishes and sitting down next to him. She prayed he hadn’t seen the blush on her cheeks or hear the way her heart raced a little more.

It was impossible to not notice the little things about his little (Y/N). She was so different than anyone he had met. Which wasn’t many people but he knew she was special. Ever since he met her she had a special place in his heart. His cold and sociopathic heart, but heart nonetheless.

He noticed the subtle change in her heart as she stared at his eyes and almost died with glee when he saw the rosiness on her cheeks. She made him feel something he couldn’t describe. Maybe it was because she had been kind to him from the start. Not caring that he killed his own family and nearly all her friends.

“You were so lonely. All those years by yourself. I’m sorry you had to go through that. You didn’t deserve it. Siphoner or not. Witch or not. You’re just a person and you couldn’t decide how you were born.”

Looking at her now, beside him, he could hear the words she said to him. They echoed in his mind. She was so forgiving. So good. So sweet. Like a drug. And right now he wanted his dose.

Uncomfortable was the word she was looking for as she tried focusing on her story. Being stared at by Kai was one of the most awkward things she had ever had to endure.

“Do you have a problem?” She asked gently, turning to him to get his response.

Dismissing her question Kai smirked, licking his lips before leaning into her. “You look so good in that dress but I’d rather see it on the floor of my bedroom.”

What the fuck, was the only sentence going through (Y/N)’s mind. He had said it so sensuously, his voice so deep. His eyes glazed with lust and currently piercing hers. The words had only been whispered but it made it seem that much more sexy.

“What?” (Y/N) managed to reply back. Her voice was no longer loud instead matching the tone of his voice.

Freaking out would be an understatement. (Y/N) felt paralyzed unsure of what to do or what to say back. In truth she had a crush on him, liking it when he visited and spending time with him when he felt lonely. He was so interesting and on the inside kind. Sweet even. At least to her he was.

His sweet little (Y/N). So innocent, but not that innocent. Her thighs pressed together as soon as his words slipped from his mouth. He noticed that and he also noticed the dramatic change in heart beat. Her eyes stared back at him in disbelief. Her mouth slightly open, making his vision go straight to her lips. They looked so soft and plump and he wondered how they would taste.

“Can I fuck you?” Kai wasn’t know for his chivalry. He always got what he wanted and right now he wanted her. In any way.

Like a fish out of water, (Y/N) jumped up from the couch not wasting another second trying to escape from this predicament she seemed to be in. That question wasn’t suppose to have that much affect on her but it did.

Kai was much faster and quickly blocked her way. He loved it when he saw her squirm under his gaze. Right now she was doing just that, not meeting his gaze and doing her best to stay focused. Her heart pounding against her rib cage as she tried to breath.

“You know. I’ve noticed for a while, you get jumpy around me. But you like it. You’ll see me, get excited and smile a lot more. Your heart beats faster.” He brought his hand up, brushing her hair through his fingers. Slowly dipping down and brushing his fingers across her collarbone. Seeing the goosebumps rise from her skin. “If I didn’t know any better, I’d say you like me.” His voice was so cocky and so sure.

But damn did it sound good.

She didn’t reply. Worried what to say or how to tell him it was fine if he didn’t like her back. Instead she kept quiet praying he would leave her alone. “Nothing to say back? That’s so unlike you my little (Y/N).” He tsked, shaking his finger back and forth disapproving. “I need to hear it from that pretty little mouth of yours.”

Still nothing from her. And it was then that he realize that maybe she wasn’t sure if he felt the same. Grabbing her chin to tilt her head up he wrapped his other arm around her pulling her close. She was so soft and warm. Vanilla with chocolate invading his sense of smell and for a moment he thought how nice it felt to have her in his arms.

Her eyes seemed to be unsure and scared but it felt to right to be in his arms.

“I can’t really express feelings but man do you make me feel something. I don’t even know what the hell it is but I love seeing you everyday. I love everything you are and when you’re mad at me and when you can’t help laughing at all my stupid jokes. So stop it with the unsure look. You don’t know how long I’ve waited for this moment. Bring those lips close. I wanna kiss you.”

Not even waiting for another moment to pass she quickly wrapped her arms around him, quickly kissing him. His lips were soft against hers, lips moving in synch. His mouth seemed desperate to hang onto every moment, kissing her bruisingly. But she loved it, it was passionate and rough, everything she had hoped.

“(Y/N)! (Y/N)!” Opening her eyes (Y/N) quickly rose from couch, confused and dazed. Looking around she was in the same place, the Salvatore living room. In front of her Kai Parker, looking at her confused.

Had it been a dream?

But it felt so real?

She gently lifted her hand to her mouth still feeling the bruising kisses that Kai left her. Her heart sped up as she smiled softly. Dream or not it was an amazing kiss.

“Hello? (Y/N)? You called me saying you needed help with the story.” Kai interrupted her thoughts as he walked around, looking at things. Still dazed (Y/N) nodded, “yea, let me just go get my laptop.” Her voice was soft, giddy with happiness. Quickly getting up she ran to retrieve the laptop not even paying attention to Kai.

Little did she know Kai was taking her seat, laptop in hand as he watched her disappear. She hadn’t even noticed he had it when she left. “Oh my little (Y/N). Bring those lips close in deed.” Kai grinned, thinking of the dream he was just in.

Kai quickly shoved the rest of the chocolate cupcake into his mouth, raising his eyebrows when you smacked his arm. He teased you as he licked the frosting off his lips, wiggling his fingers as if trying to grab another one. You narrowed your eyes before quickly grabbing the tray of cupcakes from in front of him and moving them to the other side of the kitchen counter. "You know I actually thought you were gonna help me decorate these things. I need to take these in an hour and I'm not even close to being done." Sighing you looked around the kitchen, various freshly baked cupcakes sat atop the white kitchen counters, covering practically every surface. They had yet to be decorated, indicating their flavors; strawberry, chocolate, vanilla. "Not my fault you volunteered to help with the bake sale. You could've just said no and you wouldn't be in this mess." Kai said sitting smugly in his chair. He was watching you as you tried to add vanilla frosting to one of the cupcakes. He thought you looked adorable as you tried to make a perfect swirl. Your hair was up in a messy do, a few strands falling out adorning your face in such a perfect way. Concentrating making your eyebrows furrow and bite your lip. You had such soft features. He liked it best when you smiled which you always did. Always cracking jokes and making fun of others was your specialty. But you never did it with a bad intention, just harmless remarks that had everyone dying of laughter. You were one of the nicest people in all of Mystic Falls and as he sat there watching you he wondered why you gave him a chance at being friends. "Next time Caroline asks me to do something please cut me off and say no." Your voice sounded stressed, your hand going at a much faster rate causing the swirl to look messy. Though at that point you didn't care. "You know I can do magic right? Powerful heretic and all." Kai said getting up from his seat and standing to join you. "I'm pretty sure there's a spell to cast icing on all these bad boys. Which by the way are amazing. How did you get them so spongy?" Kai giving you compliments about your cooking or baking always made you smile and this one was no exception. You grinned as he reached to grab a vanilla cupcake though this time you didn't mind. "Why thank you. It's a secret though. Sorry can't tell you," you said faking disappointment, bringing your finger near your lips. "Top secret." You whispered before laughing and resuming to frost the cupcakes. Kai scoffed mockingly, "Oh yea? Well then every time I want cupcakes I'm gonna make you bake them. Since I don't have the recipe and you're gonna be stuck making them for me for the rest of my left." He declared putting his elbow on the counter to rest his head in hand to lean closer to you. You laughed shaking your head, "you make it sound like a bad thing. I'll bake you cupcakes anytime you want." You responded smiling at him. Kai wasn't evil, maybe lonely but not evil. You didn't understand when Elena and everyone else kept telling you stay away from him. Kai was sweet and nice, always trying to make you laugh. Kai didn't say anything, instead he continued to smile at you. You were so kind to him and your words caused his heart to ache. Or at least that's what he felt when you said you wouldn't mind. It was as if you didn't need to think twice about doing anything he asked. Instead of eating the cupcake, Kai reached over and grabbed the frosting bag, quickly doing a swirl on it. It was about time he tried to help you finish these dreaded cupcakes. This act didn't go unnoticed and as he finished you both stopped and looked at each other before smiling. "Thanks Kai." *** "Thank you so much for all these cupcakes." Caroline gushed as you proceeded to hand over each container filled with cupcakes. "No problem. I hope this is enough. 𖧷 "oo, it's so pretty in here," you say in awe as you enter the room, the rainbow lights on the brightly colored arcade machines. kai, your best friend, who's holding the door, walks in behind you. before he could agree, you rush off to the first game you see.

the arcade is mostly empty. the only people to be seen are tired employees sipping fountain drinks and chatting. you look around and scope the scene, looking for your favorite games.

you bounce between games and machines, gaining tickets. you play against kai in air hockey and beat him by a landslide. kai challenges you to a rematch, and this time, he wins. ignoring how he rubs it in your face, you find more games to battle him in.

𖧷 "oh, come on! i beat you fair and square, didn't i? the rematch was winner-take-all, so i won!" he brags, and you roll your eyes, the playful banter between you always a source of amusement. but you'd never tell him that.

you rush to point at a claw machine, sliding in a few coins. you fiddle with the joystick, guiding the claw to hover above a cute plush penguin. you push the bottom beside the joystick, and the claw descends, clasping the arm of the blue penguin. it comes back up and takes the plush with it. it glides across the top of the machine.

as the plush penguin nears the prize slot, it falls short. you try again unsuccessfully, and after your fourth attempt, you give up. you whine and slump down a bit before you turn to look at kai. "hey, hyuka?"

𖧷 kai looks at you, already knowing what you're going to ask, and moves closer, inserting his coins. he does the same as you, but more methodically. this time, the claw successfully drops the plush into the prize slot. he retrieves it and offers it to you, and you accept it with a victorious smile, hugging it tightly.

you look up at him with big eyes, and he leans down to kiss you before he can even question himself. you can't even focus on kissing him back before it's over, and you mentally scold yourself for missing your chance.
