I did something really stupid

Trying to watch a movie but I can’t get over the fact that Kentaro Miura passed. I was 15 when I first read the Black Swordsman arc and 15 years later I still love the series. It left a huge impression on me. A lot of my love for dark fantasy stems from Miura’s works and he will be missed. What a loss for manga but fantasy as well. A real legend. Thank you for everything.

Navajo artist creates Native superheroes for new comic book

Artist Shaun Beyale believes Native people are living in a post-apocalyptic world and that is the inspiration behind his upcoming comic book ‘Ayla, The Monster Slayer,’ which he hopes to have ready by Indigenous Comic Con in November.

Hardest thing about being a baby/newbie content creator is definitely building up the fanbase. You need so much patience because without a pre-established fanbase, it’s like talking to the floor or the wall. It often takes years and you know you’re gonna struggle if you can barely manage a couple days, let alone weeks of consistent posting 😭

One of the greatest things about reading manga is seeing the artist improve from the first volume to the last.

I think the greatest thing a story can do for someone is inspire them to write their own creations. Ones that will invoke that same rush of inspiration that one story did for them.
