Nymphadora Tonks Headcanons

closer to Ted. they are very similar

has a bit of a tricky relationship with Andromeda but they love eachother always

never changes her main appearance unironically apart from her hair

has a resting smile on her face

honestly she is so sweet

and really cool

everyone wants to be her friend

prankster (nearly marauders or weasley twin level)

best friends with Charlie Weasley

her parents were already friends with Molly and Arthur because they were in the same year and all became closer after Hogwarts

makes her hair ginger whenever she goes to the Burrow

definetely very close with Ginny

she is a big sister figure to her

like people always say Ginny is cool because of Fred and George but they're wrong. it's all Tonks lmao

i think maybe Ginny even learned her signature Bat-Bogey Hex from Tonks

and perhaps her Quidditch skill

think she picked Muggle Studies because she finds the topic very interesting, but neither of her parents did it (Ted is Muggleborn and Andromeda was raised as a Pure-Blood elitist)

she's on the Hufflepuff Quidditch team since 4th year

Sprout physically could not make her a prefect tho

despite this the first years all look up to her, she is very nurturing

uses humour as a coping mechanism

in her fifth year she was mocked for her Auror ambition

even her mum said "are you sure you don't want to try something less.... difficult?"

this cemented her ambition, she wanted to prove them all wrong

she took Charms, DADA, Transfiguration, Herbology and Care of Magical Creatures in her sixth year

she gets all the grades she needs

while in Auror training she is introduced to Mad-Eye Moody

everyone is all scared to speak to him whereas Tonks just says "Mad-Eye Moody, wassup"

and its the beginning of a beautiful friendship

she is also quite close with Kingsley

during her time in the Order, Molly becomes Tonks' closest friend

definetely thought Remus was the cute marauder before she ever met him

i mean wolfstar is my otp but i love remadora two

just two bi disasters who found love uwu

she nearly lost control of her powers when Ted died but thanks to Remus, her mum and Molly, she managed to stay strong for her baby

also i think the only reason Teddy wasn't a werewolf is because Tonks was a metamorphmagus which dominated the werewolf gene
