Today, I found comfort in Jesus by watching a documentary of Carlo Acutis. For the past two weeks, I've been going through a heavy spiritual struggle and felt somewhat distant. But once again, Jesus reminded me that I have friends in high places, gently pulling me back to Himself through them. As I was preparing lessons for our next meeting, I started watching a documentary on Carlo Acutis to introduce to my 8th graders. There was a moment in the film when I saw a clip of Carlo as a baby, which immediately filled me with immense joy. It was near the beginning too. As I saw the brief clip, it struck me how rare it is to see a baby picture of someone destined to be a future Saint. The joy just kept on overwhelming me to the point of tears, and I couldn't stop crying. My heart was just being filled with more and more joy. It was unstoppable. I was perplexed as I felt this was no ordinary joy or tears of happiness. Later in the documentary, as I tried to gather myself back from crying, I saw another clip where a man who visited Carlo's resting place was moved to tears as well and he too could not sobbing for a while as he was reconverted back to his Catholic Faith. Carlo seems to have this profound effect on people. I believe it's his deep love for Jesus that we all sense—something so beautiful, it's beyond words. I can’t wait to share him with my class.

I think these are beautiful stickers for my class. I want to buy them asap. I would encourage anyone who needs extra protection when surfing on the daily web to get one and place it on your laptop, phone or other other internet device, to help keep your soul safe from any influence out there. I've had my fair share experience of running into wickedness on socials. It's sad, it truly is. But I also recall that it was Carlo who had reached out in spirit back in 2020 to uplift me when I'd see posts of him by others on remaining close to Jesus. I even recorded the moment on Instagram. I had a bit of synchronicity with some of his pictures along with other positive messages, but I don't have them anymore dismissing them as coincidences. But now I see, it's not so much a coincidence anymore. Jesus reaches out! Don't miss out!
Carlo Acutis will be canonized in 2025 but there is no exact date set yet.

Thank you for all of your prayers. On the day I received news of my father’s diagnosis, I had run to prayer in tears. I’d asked Saint Nektarios for help and prayed a Paraklesis to him; the helper of those afflicted with cancer. I had asked the Panagia, Saint Panteleimon, the Unmercenary Saints, all in fervent prayer.
A few days ago, my dad forwarded me a message from his oncologist. At the time of the original post, he was told he had 4-6 months to live, but now, after the analysis of his old oncologist, they said he will receive further examination to confirm that he is cancer-free.
The Lord is boundless in His mercy towards us, and in Christ we have the saints as our friends who pray for us before the throne of God. St. Nektarios has helped our family greatly, and if anyone else is suffering from cancer, I encourage you to pray a Paraklesis to him as well!
I’m very thankful for everyone who has been praying for my family; you have all been in my prayers as well.
Please continue praying for my mom, Mary. I hope she grows in her faith and overcomes her addiction.

My dad was diagnosed today with terminal bone cancer and given a few months to live. My mom is struggling with an active drug addiction and other carnal sins. My brother as well, he is a year away from finishing nursing school but it’s hard to say where he will live when my dad passes away since the two help each other pay their bills. And pray for me as well, an unworthy sinner.
I neglected posting this earlier but I was able to meet the Myrrhstreaming Icon of the Panagia, the Softener of Evil Hearts, while I was in Manila. (It was Divine Providence, I tell you because I wasn’t even supposed to be on the island while it was in Parañaque but that’s another story.)
We held a Moleben service at the small house church and during the Paraklesis, the icon began showing forth smatterings of blood or red liquid of some sort around the face of the Virgin and some around the edges as well. It was very interesting because they “bloomed” on the glass, it wasn’t dripping into or from the icon but rather appeared as if from thin air. It was extremely fragrant, and at some moments during our prayers, it was like the fragrance grew more potent.
