Wow I actually agree with this conversation this is good.
I always want to be on the healthy side of the fandom and the comment that one person made that the art is content is absolutely true!!
I mean no disrespect to the art! It's beautiful and people do think up of good storylines but they would have not existed without the og.
And the one where y'all talk about Chloe's redemption arc. I mean I was disappointed but it was crucial for the story line I would say and if I am not mistaken Chloe's either going to come back redemption a-bangin' or worse than Lila from the last shot we saw of her.
Honestly sometimes people take a kid's show (which is not really a kid's show- idk how to explain this.... But MLB people get it) too seriously.

Say what you want about Parisians celebrating Gabriel for killing Gabriel or whatever, but honestly whenever I think about the fact that Gabriel died with the last memory of his son being Adrien sobbing and crying and pleading “mom would hate what you’re doing” and desperately trying to get away from him, and his last memory with Nathalie was of her literally attempting to murder him with a crossbow, I feel soooooooo good.
He died knowing the only two living people he had a semblance of care for despised him.
Nah there will be a S6 ep titled “Mr Pigeon 103” where he wins and unifys the Cat and Ladybug miraculous to become Bugpigeonoir the writers told me so

With this special you can understand Marinette's decision in Recreation
Because when she spoke to Gabriel, she remembered Betterfly and the man that gave her hope. She wanted to be that hope for him now, in his darkest moment, the same way he did for her.
And while Gabriel "betrayed" her, she ended up changing his wish!
So when Marinette is talking to Adrien about Gabriel she is not remembering Monarch, but Betterfly. She wants to believe that, at least for one second, the man that was indeed a hero was there.
That doesn't excuse all the bullshit Gabriel did to his son, but explains Marinette's decision in not revealing the truth to Adrien in that moment.
