Sooooo I have a theory/headcanon

My idea is that...

Thad is trans!

Okay, okay sooo...

We are given the idea that Tessa was the only human to "customize" her drones and give both males and females hair, but the drones from Copper-9 never met the real Tessa.

So far as we know, only females are known to have hair other than facial hair, or at least in the colony. But Thad is featured with a tuft of blonde hair, as well as what he and Uzi discussed in the pilot—

"Crippling daddy issues. Hilarious. What are you in for? Testosterone too hard?"

"That can happen?! Awesome. Hey, those bandages look pretty badass."

—leads me to believe that Thad is a trans boy. The reason he's always going on about masculinity and trying to act like a stereotypical teenage jock is because he's trying to fit in among the cis boys in his class, or at least that's my take on it. But what do you think?

(Guys this is literally my comfort character!! I wish he had more screen time with the main three!! (Uzi, N, and V))

OKAY first off, dude was obviously one of the more important background characters. but unlike lizzie or khan, hes genuinely been nothing but helpful and nice with seemingly no ulterior motives. Yeah i mean hes friends with lizz so guilty by association but other than that hes helped uzi get her sick-as-hell railgun back, warned her about the disappearances, helped her investigate, etc etc

also him helping lizz get off the bus was SO cute and such a gentleman move and nobody even talks about it, i need justice for thad

i love that murder drones is one of those shows that you KNOW theyve had the whole story planned since the beginning. its so complicated theres no possible way it was just a spur of the moment type series
