Darry Is def one of those that takes it a little to seriously but at the same time after the game he brings some chocolate cake for the kids and juice boxes
Ponyboy is the coach that usually comes up with the most random things to do at Practice like he having do some drills "alright everyone I came up with a new drill to do this one is called-"
Steve Randle is the coach that doesn't care if the team wins or loses he just wants the kids to have fun and in the dugout he will rant about cars during any part of the game he brings the kids slushies form the dx station sometimes
Sodapop Is the sweetest coach ever always give pep talks before the care just like Steve he doesn't care if they win or lose "Just go out their and give it your all!"
Johnny Is also a really sweet coach and sometimes gives the kids candy after games "Now don't tell your moms this but.. I got you all blow pops" he is the coach that will always talk about his team and how good the kids are "Oh Timmy is just such a Well behaved boy"
Two-Bit He is almost just like and wants his team to win and sometimes he tries to tell the kids to go steal something form the other team, "Okay now Eric you sneak into that dugout and take the eye sore of an bat form that Ginger kid" Still after the games he brings the kid some candy and bubble gum

You were getting ready to cheer for the football game it was about 2 weeks before prom then darry tapped you on the shoulder

Now did he have almost all the girls in Tulsa wanting him yeah? but he'd got bored of most of most of them and thought he'd try this prom date thing.. and he wanted to at least do I good so he bought (stole) you a pack of cigarettes and some cd he was pretty sure you liked and wrote on the inside of the cigarette box to ask you (a lot of effort for dally)

Why do you guys blame Cherry and Darry for the events of the book? (Y'all especially do this to Cherry)
Cherry was literally getting harassed by Dally, then Johnny killed her boyfriend, (even though he had it coming) and then Two-Bit had to stop some of the greasers from jumping her when she offered to be a spy. Honestly, I don't even care about Cherry that much myself, but it's not like she went out of her way to hurt anyone. (And who can blame her for not wanting to see the guy who killed her boyfriend? Besides, who's to say that Johnny wanted to see her anyway?)
And I don't like it when people blame Darry for what happened. (Ik some people blame Pony too, which I also don't like, but I've seen people blame Darry more) Darry was 20 years old. And taking care of his 16- and 14-year-old brothers after both of their parents died. AT THE SAME TIME. Darry wasn't perfect, but neither were any of the characters. That's what most people like about them. And really, if you want to play the blame game, blame Bob and the other guys for jumping Pony and Johnny, or blame Dally for flirting with Cherry in the first place. (Nobody seems to do the latter option)

I think after the court Ponyboy would see Johnny and Dallas as hallucinations, and eventually, it would lead to him going crazy and/or super depressed and committing suicide
I would hope that he doesn't commit suicide, but I would understand if he did after all the trauma he went through. First his parents die, he gets hit by his brother for something he didn't mean to do, (I don't hate/dislike Darry for this though) he nearly gets drowned to death and has to go on the run with his best friend after said best friend kills someone for him. And then his best friend dies. After saving children. Then his other friend commits a suicide by cop. And he watched them both die. In the same night.
Yeah, I can imagine he would have some issues.
I seen the post where you wanted something sad about the outsiders so maybe like, once Johnny and dally dies he becomes sadder and sadder every day. He completely stop watching sunsets but every once in a while he will look at the them despite the heaviness in his heart. He stops playing track because the running reminds him of when him and Johnny had to run away and when ever he sees and leather jacket his eyes fills with tears because they remind him of dally. He blames himself every day of the deaths of his two best friends despite soda pop and Darry telling him it wasnt his fault. He locks him self in his room most the time and just stares at his book shelf no longer having the motivation to read the books. He reads johnnys letter every night and bowls his eyes out till he falls asleep. I don’t know what else to put so there ya have it😅

it was routine, you and ponyboy would hang out almost as soon as you two woke up until the night where you two would just soak in each other’s warmth talking about things while his fingers would play with a strand of your hair while yours would play with the drawstrings of his blue plaid pajama pants. you and ponyboy had been dating for at least 6 months now having known each other for a year ever since dally and johnny’s deaths, you had really been the first person to come up to ponyboy to share your condolences for his recent losses he had never seen you before and he wondered why you would care until you told him about how you used to stay at the same place dally would and you two would talk through the party until you got tired so it was evident that two got close during those long talks. pony was only slightly stunned that you meant basically the same to dally as johnny did. after then you two got close, hanging out often, going to the movies, walking through town until the sun started coming up and it didn’t take long for pony to gain feelings for you.
the idea of ponyboy reading to you came up while you were looking through his pile of book as you listened to whatever story he was telling you about when you interrupted turning in your heel to look at the brunette boy who was currently sitting on his bed playing with a yoyo he stole from two-bit, “sweetie.” you called looking down at the back of the book cover reading the summary of the book hearing him hum making you look up walking over to his bed. “you think you could read this to me?” you asked sweetly seeing him looking at you through his eyelashes before speaking “lemme see honey.” he reached out his hand looking at the book once you handed it to him, he hadn’t read it before so he figured why not. “sure thing sweetheart, we can do that.” he smiled at you and that’s how you guys started this daily read. days like today you would end up at his side as his arm wrapped around your shoulder and your head slightly rested on his chest messing with either his drawstrings or you nails, his voice was soothing you tonight like a lullaby it must’ve been the lack of sleep that morning that drew you to fall asleep. it took a little for ponyboy to notice you fell asleep until he moved his arm to turn the page and he noticed your eyes shut he started at you for a while admiring you a small smile fading to his face, pony shut the book setting it next to his bedside table and he turned off his light laying next to you his arm wrapping around you pulling your back to his chest as he focused on your breathing and heartbeat as it lured him to a peaceful sleep..
