this is actually amazing like wtf

Starting off the new year with I think the most background heavy piece I've ever made! I think Rainwings and Nightwings would celebrate their traditional holidays together after the events of The brightest night. So this drawing is meant to show their cultures kind of blending together during a very joyful time. I remember talking about this concept with someone on tumblr a year ago but when I went back through my posts I couldn't for the life of me find it - so if your reading this, I remember you and this drawing stems from that conversation so thank you!

IM STILL SO SAD THEY NEVER DID A KINKAJOU POV BOOK. OR THAT THEY NEVER EXPLORED HER CHARACTER MUCH

She was lonely in the rainforest, berated by a teacher, was KIDNAPPED at a rlly young age and was *TESTED ON* for like MONTHS and no one cared enough to try and look for her. She got venom in her wing and Im sure it hurt like a BITCH it left a scar. And she constantly tries to push it down to keep her happy exterior up? she’s always happy because she feels like her problems matter much less than everyone else’s

SHE WAS IN A COMMA FOR LIKE 1 AND A HALF BOOKS and then had her mind messed with thanks to Anemone, she was made to feel insignificant which she CLEARLY didnt like and then she got kidnapped AGAIN by Darkstalker.

She was the one that wrote the spell that saved them all for darkstalker and she worked extremely hard to be the first rainwing to write and read. She’s an extremely intelligent dragon who I just wish could’ve been explored more.

SHE HAS SO MUCH TRAUMA LIKE LITTERALLY but you cant SEE IT bc she surpresses it all to keep being a ray of sunshine in her friend’s lives, she has to be strong for them emotionally even if she’s just as scared as they are.  AND she’s similar to Sunny in that “people dont take me seriously” way

My progress on drawing dragons over time! Ft my friend's (@linkymew) and I's Wings of Fire AU for most of them. I only really started practicing a few weeks ago but the first pic is older than that.

I hope to draw and practice more dragons. They're super fun

This is my wings of fire oc, Snowcone! She is a Rain/Ice, she goes to school at the Jade Mountain, and she lives in the mountains near the sky kingdom. She was extremely unlucky, she doesn’t have any ice breath or venom, she can’t live in the rainforest due to it being too hot, and the Icewings chased her off their kingdom.
