I'm going to set things straight for you . A fetus is alive but it is not an individual human being . cellular life begins at conception not human life . it is human tissue . until it can survive outside the womb it can't
think/ feel / perceive its surroundings . you become a conscious human around 24th week ( when you can be born )
no fetal organ are fully developed before 20 weeks and the pain receptors aren't firing until 26 weeks ( 3rd trimester ) . you can have your opinion but make sure to get factual information before spouting off inaccuracies .
every organic living organisms is made of living tissue . everything is comprised of cells . science doesn't devalue anyone or anything but lays the groundwork for factual information . regardless of what happens at conception , a zygote , embryo , or fetus are not a conscious human being

Consent to oral sex isn't consent to penetration. Consent to protected sex isn't consent to unprotected sex. Consent to vaginal sex isn't consent to anal sex.
Consent to drinking with someone isn't consent for them to drug you. Consent to making out isn't consent to sexual touching. Consent to mutual masturbation isn't consent to having sex.
And consent to any kind of sex whatsoever isn't consent to pregnancy.
The whole idea that consent to "X" is actually consent to "W, X, Y, and Z" only defends rapists. You know, people who force others into sexual acts they didn't consent to.
Consent to one thing is consent to that one thing ONLY. Nothing else in inherently involved in consenting to one thing.
And when you consent to sex, you don't inherently consent to pregnancy.

Correct , but having DNA alone doesn't make you a person , you need the complexity of some parts of the brain

Also numbers would be higher if women who were raped got better medical help ( found out they were pregnant earlier ) , most women who chose not to abort because the found out late in the pregnancy . If women were given proper medical help the number would be higher .

"Supreme Court lawyer Neal Katyal: "My thoughts on politico story saying the Court voted to say Roe v. Wade is fully overruled. I’ve quickly scanned the draft opinion and it appears legitimate. This means there was a preliminary vote to fully overrule Roe V Wade and that a majority of the Court agreed.
This opinion says states can criminalize abortion, with no rape or incest exception. It is exactly the hardline position I’ve been saying the Court is going to impose for the last 3 years. It will set women back in profound ways. Congress must act ASAP."

hi uh i keep seeing this being debated on tiktok and as your resident adult with a history of infertility who knows just.. way too much about pregnancy and hcg tests: if you are capable of getting pregnant, you really REALLY need to understand how drugstore pregnancy tests work. if there is a line, no matter how faint, that test is POSITIVE. I’ve seen people test positive and get a negative or start their period a few days later and be like “it must have been a false positive”. actual false positives are extremely rare. what most likely happened is something called a ‘chemical pregnancy’ which is when an egg is fertilized but does not implant in the uterus so the pregnancy does not continue. that positive test was not faulty or false, it was just an early test.
if you think you might be pregnant, get your hands on a test. you don’t need the fancy digital ones. the ones you can buy at places like the dollar tree work just as well. buy a few and take one every day until your period comes on if you need to. if there is a FAINT line you aren’t sure about (sometimes tests have something called an indent that makes a shadow that can be mistaken as a very very faint line), test again the next day. as a general rule, morning is the best time to test for most people.
in a post-roe america, is it vitally necessary that you know and understand that because if you intend to terminate, your window is incredibly small in most states and by the time you’ve missed a period or begun to suspect you might be pregnant, there’s a decent chance you are past the cutoff. please please please educate yourselves on this because it could mean the difference between you having access to the healthcare that you need.
