Here’s a Wilbur wip that I don’t know if I’ll ever finish lmao

Badass and revived ghostbur au headcannon time :D
-In this au, Ghostbur stayed in Wilbur’s limbo (the train station) for 13 years before a train came. It was supposed to go to another station, but Ghostbur didn’t care, he got on anyway.
-The train brought him to a world revolved around fighting rings, which was the main source of income there. If you didn’t have money, you wouldn’t last 2 days there.
-So Ghostbur gets dragged into one of the main fighting rings and is trained there into one of the best (If not THE BEST) fighters there. He stays there for 6 and a half years since he doesn’t know how to get back.
-Dream realises Ghostbur is missing after Ghost’s (I’m just gonna call Ghostbur Ghost from now on) first year in the fighting ring world and tries to find a way to get him back. He only manages to do it once Ghost has spent 6 and a half years there, but Ghost is so happy to finally get back.
-During Ghost’s time there, he aquires many weapons, a crown, a lot of money and jewels and jewellery, scars, bad memories he can’t seem to forget, and white hair. Why white hair you ask? Simple. Everytime he won a tournament, a thin strand of his hair would turn white, resulting in about 70%-75% of his hair being white. He also gets a permanent blue right eye that’s always dripping Blue.
-In that world, he didn’t just learn how to fight, he learned how to stand up for himslef and such. He grew a backbone.
-He also got a crown because of a record he beat. He doesn’t really like wearing the crown though, as it reminds him of how many lives he’s put in danger to earn it.
(Small break to say that this feels like writing a cringy, angsty fanfic of Ghostbur in Wilbur Soot reddit style. Is that going to stop me? no.)
-Also, he’s kept his yellow sweater and all that all throughout his time there, except he just tucked it into his pants, rolled up the sleeves and pinned it in place so its oversizeness isn’t a problem.
-He gave himself the title ’The Reflection’ (inspired by a fic I read, I can’t remember which one though.). The crowd would shout things like
”Cover them with blue!” (Ghost would usually somehow manage to smear blue all over his opponents once he won)
“You can’t beat your Reflection!” (I think this one is self-explanatory)
“Sadness for The Reflection!” (The crowd just learned somewhere that Ghost ’takes’ sadness so)
-Everyone on the DSMP is shooketh when he comes back, mostly Tommy and Revivedbur. They can’t tell if they’re shocked because he fought in a fighting ring, that he has so many weapons, jewels and money, his personality/attitude change or his appearance change.
-Ghostbur gives Tommy the crown, as the bad memories aren’t so bad when Tommy wears it. Besides, Tommy always told Ghost how he wanted a crown like Techno, and this one is exactly like Techno’s.
-Ghost is the happiest man ever when he gets to reunite with Tommy, Techno, Tubbo, Ranboo, everyone really. But most importantly, Friend. He finally gets to reunite with Friend and he is oh so happy. Friend is really happy to see Ghost too.
-Ghostbur is still a ghost when brought back/revived into the Dream SMP
-Techno and Ghost bond more than ever since they’ve both been in fighting rings now and Revivedbur and others are pretty f-in terrified of them lmao. Whenever they greet eachother now they do it like this:
Ghostbur - “The Blood God.” *slight bow*
Techno - “The Reflection.” *head bow*
*silence…*
*they both burst out laughing and properly say hi to eachother*

Headcanon: Wilbur forgot how to do “living people tings”
i was just vibing to music and then blue by derivakat came on and these lyrics hit harder

they are now reliving the past with wilbur being back
their friendship did not last
they did not make it through. they did not make it out of the prison together. ghostbur did not make it.

ignoring the context of “what’s the use of feeling blue?” (steven universe), tbh it feels like revivedbur talking to tommy about forgetting og l’manberg and ghostbur and moving forward to ‘better’ things. just thinking tho

people can say that it doesnt make sense or something but i just LOVE the design, and can we talk about how ghostbur and revivedbur have similar hair but the colors are just kinda inverted in different spots, so while revivedbur has the white stripe, ghostbur has a brown stripe while the rest of his hair is WHITE? it helps show whos who even if you dont look at how either of them act (since logically they do act different than the other) but I just think its a really nice touch !
