Daily fanfic recomindation! This one is A Pogtopia fic but Tommy was killed by dream before the election stuff happened so now Wilbur is hallucinating Tommy still being alive good stuffu it’s 11 chapter and a completed work worth reading if you wanna feeeeel stuff
Day 14, lyrics! These lyrics are from ‘Achilles Come Down’ by Gang of Youths. I thought it was fitting because of the recent developments on the SMP server.
I feel like the song could be applied to Wilbur right before he fully went off, Schlatt as the negative goading voice, the man Wilbur is trying to beat, a direct connect to Wilbur’s fall. Tommy as the positive hopeful voice trying to convince Wilbur to not do anything rash. Wilbur as a tired man with nothing left to lose.
Dream and Techno as the first French segment in the song. They are helping Wilbur, doing nothing to convince him this plan might not be a good idea.
And finally Tubbo and Fundy as the bottom quote. Wilbur’s ‘trust no one’ speech to Tommy. Tubbo and Fundy in Manberg, loathe what’s happening but love those you once trusted.

what if Ghostbur had a Fenyx Rising-esque way to get to Alivebur? like, you would work your way through a place, like a shadow of where you were before, just to get that god(ess)'s memories back. maybe it would have different levels?
like, the first one would be L'manberg when it was just starting out, and it would be (relatively) the easiest. there would probably be a lot of fire and mobs, maybe skeletons? because of the duel.
the second would be the first part of the pogtopia arc, you would see faint shadows, telling you that everyone was a traitor, and you couldn't trust anyone, but they would be very easy to ignore. there would be more mobs, creepers and witches, specifically.
the third would be November 16th. the shadows in the last level are there, still saying the same things, but also telling you to blow it up. you would see everyone fighting. the only way to get the memories of Alivebur is to press the button.
just a thought I found kinda cool. :)
