Hi, I’ve learned that apparently Wilbur got revived and Ghostbur got sent to Limbo I’m pretty sure, and I’ve seen a lot of people saying they missed Ghostbur, so I bring this. A drawing of Ghostbur I made :D

(I did it with 4 different backgrounds since different people might like different backgrounds, or some people find some too bright or too dark :)) (Also, the app I made this in is called Procreate :D)

Badass and revived ghostbur au headcannon time :D

-In this au, Ghostbur stayed in Wilbur’s limbo (the train station) for 13 years before a train came. It was supposed to go to another station, but Ghostbur didn’t care, he got on anyway.

-The train brought him to a world revolved around fighting rings, which was the main source of income there. If you didn’t have money, you wouldn’t last 2 days there.

-So Ghostbur gets dragged into one of the main fighting rings and is trained there into one of the best (If not THE BEST) fighters there. He stays there for 6 and a half years since he doesn’t know how to get back.

-Dream realises Ghostbur is missing after Ghost’s (I’m just gonna call Ghostbur Ghost from now on) first year in the fighting ring world and tries to find a way to get him back. He only manages to do it once Ghost has spent 6 and a half years there, but Ghost is so happy to finally get back.

-During Ghost’s time there, he aquires many weapons, a crown, a lot of money and jewels and jewellery, scars, bad memories he can’t seem to forget, and white hair. Why white hair you ask? Simple. Everytime he won a tournament, a thin strand of his hair would turn white, resulting in about 70%-75% of his hair being white. He also gets a permanent blue right eye that’s always dripping Blue.

-In that world, he didn’t just learn how to fight, he learned how to stand up for himslef and such. He grew a backbone.

-He also got a crown because of a record he beat. He doesn’t really like wearing the crown though, as it reminds him of how many lives he’s put in danger to earn it.

(Small break to say that this feels like writing a cringy, angsty fanfic of Ghostbur in Wilbur Soot reddit style. Is that going to stop me? no.)

-Also, he’s kept his yellow sweater and all that all throughout his time there, except he just tucked it into his pants, rolled up the sleeves and pinned it in place so its oversizeness isn’t a problem.

-He gave himself the title ’The Reflection’ (inspired by a fic I read, I can’t remember which one though.). The crowd would shout things like

”Cover them with blue!” (Ghost would usually somehow manage to smear blue all over his opponents once he won)

“You can’t beat your Reflection!” (I think this one is self-explanatory)

“Sadness for The Reflection!” (The crowd just learned somewhere that Ghost ’takes’ sadness so)

-Everyone on the DSMP is shooketh when he comes back, mostly Tommy and Revivedbur. They can’t tell if they’re shocked because he fought in a fighting ring, that he has so many weapons, jewels and money, his personality/attitude change or his appearance change.

-Ghostbur gives Tommy the crown, as the bad memories aren’t so bad when Tommy wears it. Besides, Tommy always told Ghost how he wanted a crown like Techno, and this one is exactly like Techno’s.

-Ghost is the happiest man ever when he gets to reunite with Tommy, Techno, Tubbo, Ranboo, everyone really. But most importantly, Friend. He finally gets to reunite with Friend and he is oh so happy. Friend is really happy to see Ghost too.

-Ghostbur is still a ghost when brought back/revived into the Dream SMP

-Techno and Ghost bond more than ever since they’ve both been in fighting rings now and Revivedbur and others are pretty f-in terrified of them lmao. Whenever they greet eachother now they do it like this:

Ghostbur - “The Blood God.” *slight bow*

Techno - “The Reflection.” *head bow*

*silence…*

*they both burst out laughing and properly say hi to eachother*

ghostbur’s library being forgotten is sad from a historical perspective, from the perspective of all of the real documents and history that were burned away. but I have Never seen anyone mourn ghostbur’s journal

imagine if phil and techno had burned ranboo’s memory books and told him he’d understand why it was for the greater good one day, do you think we’d see people arguing about why it wasn’t that big of a deal because ranboo wouldn’t remember it happened anyways? do you think it’d just be completely Erased from the collective consciousness of the fandom?

ghostbur’s memory problems aren’t just a joke or a quirky character trait, they’re a disability just like they are for ranboo. his journal carried memories of what wilbur had done before he died And what ghostbur had seen and experienced while he was alive, memories that had faded once he no longer had access to the book. doomsday making a point of ghostbur forgetting the second verses of the l’manberg anthem that He wrote and having quackity finish the song for him was such an emotionally charged scene and it isn’t remembered at all.

it’s genuinely ironic that the scene that ghostbur was best known for has him pleading to phil to recognize his humanity, the fact that he feels emotions authentically and that they still Matter even if they fade, but he Still isn’t taken seriously

Isn't it great how ghostburs limbo is actually a giant flower field and friend is there and he's happy :)

Dsmp Headcanons: Being Chronically Ill

little headcanons for different dsmp characters and how they help you with your needs being Chronically Ill/A spoonie Characters: Ghostbur, Karl, Quackity, Eret, Sam, Foolish, Ranboo Most can be interpreted as platonic or romantic

A/n: I tried to make it general but of course mainly went off my own experience as a spoonie and I can’t cover anyone in the community as much as I wish I could. Might go in-depth with a Chronically Ill reader with one of the characters some other time if I get the inspo for it.

Ghostbur

-This guy would bring you so much blue

-Offers to let you cuddle friend if you’re having a bad day since he can’t hold you

-You can also have all of his big sweaters if you ask

Karl Jacobs

-All I can say is cuddles cuddles cuddles

-Flare up? cuddles, no spoons? cuddles

-Loves to take you traveling but if he knows you aren’t up for it he will force you to stay home

Quackity

-This man works a lot, but he always makes sure to check in on how you’re doing

-Flare up? I guess he can miss one day of work to take care of you

-If he cant miss work he would make sure you are stocked with anything you can think of, food, pain meds, heating pad etc.

Eret

-Will always check to make sure you drank water and took your meds

-If not he will watch and make sure you take them

-Will pamper you, he is the king after all

-But if you ever say its to much they will back off immediately, he doesn’t want you to think he is treating you any differently.

Awesamdude

-Brings you to the prison when you aren’t feeling well to care for you

-Never wants to leave your side in a flare up even if he has other duties

-Would make you any mobility aids you may need and would do research to make sure he make it perfectly

Foolish

-Probably doesn’t fully understand what you mean by chronically ill

-”What do you mean it doesn’t get better?”

-He means well I promise

-Will try to make you laugh whenever you aren’t feeling the best

Ranboo

-Will carry you anywhere

-Legs hurt? Lightheaded? forgot your mobility aid? He will carry you around as long as you need

-Always try to make sure you’re comfortable in every situation and will constantly check up on you even if you’re having a good day

And none of them would think lesser of you or care about you any less cause of something you can’t control. You are loved and valid!
