umm um for the rw doodles - how about SRS having a chat with spearmaster using the language they made for them :D

The Spearmaster describing creatures they met while on their adventures! Of course SRS saw everything through the overseer but they’re just happy to chat with Spearmaster :)

I adore the fact that SRS developed a sign language for the two to talk to each other.

Disclaimer: These signs are based off of ASL signs but I am not very knowledgeable on the language.

AU info dump guys! Its called 'robot roommates' and its just entirely artihunter and roadrage (My ship name for pebblesxsunsxnsh ) shipping fuel. Might be a comic someday?

Pebbles collapses, so he goes over to sun's place (because he just absolutely hates NSH, and he aint gonna talk to moon), but suns also collapses, so they have to go live with NSH. Thus, the roommate part. Wacky gay crap ensues.

Suns and pebbles where not on speaking terms for awhile, but they haven't talked in forever so suns is more surprised than mad when pebbles shows up. Aside from that, suns has bee inspiration because I said so.

NSH bullies pebs. He's funny and silly and also a gamer. The scarf does not adhere to the laws of physics. When pebs and suns arrive, he welcomes them with a "Whats up, bitches?" and then suns chuckles and blushes a little, and then pebsi gets angry at NSH.

Hunter got his cancer cured! He and artificer are dating, and they live with NSH. Hunter is a chill little silly. I love. Scars are from various missions he's been on

Arti now lives with hunter and NSH. She's wearing a karma flower that hunter gave her on their first date. Its the thought that counts. She's still a bit aggressive, and she's a rather effective guard dog. Or Guard cat? Guard scug?

Bingy is a slugpup modified by NSH to be able to survey what's going on outside without getting hurt. Bingy has a prehensile tail and can jump really high. Fae are the adopted child of Artificer and hunter.

Spearmaster is here too. Their a silly little SCP looking bean, who came with suns and now just kind of chills. Pastelmaster is a vibe, truly. :)

yooo hi!! okay okay okay Seven Red Suns (srs): I started out kinda not having strong feelings about suns, and I still don't super but i've grown to like them. I think they’re a silly guy and i like their commitment to at least trying to get pebs out of his little death spiral, but i also v much enjoy them being an egotistical guy with a god complex because i feel like some of the iterators ought to have had one, like give that man some religious imagery! they're meant to be seen as gods let some of the silly robots internalize that a bit (they are however angels in my eyes, not gods) in terms of ships i mean sunstone is pretty great i like it, i especially like when people make them messy and get into all the kinda fucked ways that pebbles' desperate need for absolution and searching for a way out would play into suns's ego. (also honorary shoutout to triple divorce, not really into sig and pebbles but i like the three of them together cause i think it'd be silly) unpopular (idk how hot of a take this is, i doubt very) opinion is i guess just that i think it'd be silly if more people leaned into their god complex and how it would affect their relationships, and esp how that might change and evolve as they realizes where they’ve messed up w/ pebs i mean honestly i would have loved to see more exploration of pebbles' and suns' relationship (in wtv way) and like actually more development of how their character and attitudes have changed

Update #1 to my iterator design refs!

Two things have been updated, first of all its come to my attention Suns JUST goes by they/them in the game, so I changed my ref to reflect that! Sorry for the confusion aha.

Second thing is they have a weird little fur cape thing now! I was looking through my original drafts for them and I found a forgotten sketch for that cape, and I was DETERMINED to reimplement it, SO HERE IT IS

What is your favorite ship and why?👀👀👀

Ehehe what a question :) I'll answer this for iterator ships! I do have favorite slugcat ships as well but those will come with my slugcat design post.

I have two favorites actually, that would be trafficlight and lilypad! Both of which are present with my version of the iterators.

Trafficlight is appealing to me in a way I haven't really found a way to articulate ahah. I just think Hara and Suns' personalities provide excellent contrast, I always am a sucker for the charismatic bold type and shy nervous type falling for each other. With the added layers of Suns making mistakes at times and Hara having the guts to tell them how it is.

With how I portray trafficlight, they realize their feelings at the exact same time but have absolutely opposite responses. Hara accepts it and begins to watch if Suns feels the same, while Suns is absolutely petrified AAHAH.

My version of Suns is quite cynical and tends to overthink, they also feel obligated to not go against the ancient's wishes lest something terrible happen (at least they think something might). They feel if they were to love Hara they would become tethered to life, which obviously they aren't supposed to be. So they fear angering the ancients spirits or whatever.

They are also aware they are absolutely head over heels for Hara, and they also fear loving him too much- Like they won't know how to move on when something bad inevitably happens.

Meanwhile, Hara has none of this existential dread LMAO. He doesn't care what the ancients think, and he has accepted they will all meet an end at some point, so they might as well enjoy things while it lasts. It takes Suns time to calm their anxieties, but they do eventually.

My version of Lilypad, meanwhile, is queerplatonic! That's why I kind of struggle tagging it as specifically lilypad- But y'know AHHWFUIIHFW. I will probably in the future though just with the addition of queerplatonic tags :) I'm still a bit new at this Tumblr buidness

But mine at least, they have an incredibly intimate friendship, they love each other very much, they know each other better then anyone else, they are besties 5 ever

If Suns is Hara's romantic soulmate, Moon is Hara's platonic soulmate. They are the oldest in their local group so they have a very particular "old friend" dynamic, something they call each other frequently. They're just a couple of geezers, they've always been a constant for each other through thick and thin.

I love this because they're just two goobers who love each other and I love that for them! They're mellow, like to have a good laugh, a very comfortable ship indeed. When things aren't going to hell that is.

Originally The Frostrot au was about Agonizing Creativity discovering that The Rot, aka Pebbles' turbo cancer, can be defeated by freezing it, and also this idea had a sad end where Pebbles' fucking dies because his superstructure got frozen to the core. But, when scrolling through tumblr, I saw PTA Moon ref, looked at the pupils and was like: "Hmmm...dystopian rain world with Moon as bloodthirsty dictator...yeah I can work with that theme!" And like, I thought it'd just be funny to make something similar, but holy shit, me and @reredram managed to actually make TFR an original au, with very, VERY different lore than PTA. But still, I want to thank and credit you, @exo-dus404 for basically igniting this giant bomb...just pupils...HOW DID I MANAGE TO GET MOTIVATION FROM JUST PUPILS-
