is it that sasuke thinks he doesn’t deserve all the unconditional love naruto has for him and that’s why he’s on this endless trip to atone for his actions? it’s not addressed enough imo, he expresses that it’s a way of giving back to naruto in one of boruto’s episodes but it gets to the point where, with a whole wife and daughter and a very dear friend waiting for him, he’s almost never in the village, almost like he’s punishing himself like he doesn’t deserve to have it. there’s this and then there’s the “i completely worship you” kinda vibe i get from his relationship with naruto post war & in boruto, i think it would be really interesting to explore and address but alas the show is not about them

I saw many SNS shippers or even other Sasuke shippers draw the ship and the poke. Please, don’t do it. This poke means lies, not love. Here is the explanation:
Itachi always pokes Sasuke when he lies. There is this manga scene where Sasuke asks Itachi to play with him and Itachi pokes him while saying maybe next time. Then he walks away and Sasuke looks at the cracked Uchiha symbol. The next time never came. Itachi invented this poke as a kind way to say no to a small child. Now people will say but when Itachi died he poked Sasuke again. Yes he poked him but Itachi lied again. Itachi says sth like this is it which is a lie because for Sasuke it is not enough and Itachi came back later. Also Sasuke chased Itachi and asked him about many things, he even said that Itachi used to poke him and lie. Sasuke even said that this poke for him is not a love gesture but something that bothered him because it was associated with lies. Then we have one of the best scenes between Itachi and Sasuke. Itachi raises his hand but instead of poking Sasuke he touches his forehead with him and Sasuke finally understands and from now on he doesn’t question his brother. Even his expression says it all. This was the true gesture of the ultimate love. Now lets go to Sakura, the context of the poke is just the same as Itachi used to do it. Sakura asks Sasuke if she can join him, he says that this is his journey, she is sad and he pokes her saying maybe next time. Of course she blushed because her crush touched her for the first time ever but Sasuke lied. It was a polite way to say no to Sakura and the next time from him never came. Gaiden is the proof, Sakura had to chased him and when she got him (not really) he left her for 12 years and remember that his kaguya mission didn’t start yet. Now SS will show Boruto poke scenes but they are fillers which means they are not canon and they contradict with canon material, interviews are also not canon because Kishi contradicted himself many times. The real canon is Naruto manga, Boruto manga, Gaiden and Boruto the movie and in this sources the poke means lies. Imagine if a person hugs you all the time and lies to you while doing it, you know they are lying, would you associate this hug with love? Of course not, for you it will always be a gesture associated with lying from that person. Sasuke uses this poke as a polite way to say no or while lying. He did it to Sarada, she blushed because her mother gave her this false idea that the poke means love, Sasuke says till the next time and what we see in the Boruto manga? He never spends time with his family, he likes to be around Boruto than with his own daughter. Sasuke lied again.
People who say Naruto and Sasuke are brothers but at the same time they ship Boruto and Sarada who are their children 🙃 Something is not right here people 🤮

About SasuSaku stans changing panels, arts etc. to make Sasuke nicer or in love with Sakura. It happened again with this new art from Boruto team where everyone is having a picnic. Sakura is so desperate as always that she tries to feed her Sasuke-kun and this is his face
We can see that this is not a happy face. He looks angry, annoyed and looks at the food with some disgust. Many people pointed it out, and no this is not a face when you chew the food or try to eat. He gave a grimace face here. So what SS did with this you ask? They changed Sasuke’s lips into this
His usual face that we know from the manga and anime, there is no anger, disgust and grimace. And now this fake version is on the internet... I am asking why SS do this kind of thing?? They scream how happy they are on every media that they got the new art but they change it and make Sasuke to be nice towards Sakura. I know this art is not canon but I am happy that the team knows the dynamic of SS ship and this showed how SS fans are so insecure with their ship to the point where they spread fake information. Btw if they made Sasuke and Naruto art having picnic I guarantee that Sasuke would smile together with Naruto and they would have fun with other characters around.
Extra: When you see the whole art, you can notice that Sakura and Sasuke are far away from everyone. She just wants him for herself and cut him off from the others. She knows what would happen if Sasuke sat with Naruto and the others. Also his plate and cup are empty, he doesn't want to eat and drink anything. He is the only one in the company of his ‘family’ who doesn't have food on his plate or juice in his cup so he didn't want to picnic especially the proof for this is Sakura and Sarada who has their food on the plate and juice in the cup. And knowing that Sakura was probably serving the food because she is the housewife (Gaiden source), he had to said no but of course she doesn't understand and forces herself on him and his face says how he feels about it.
So Sasuke has a phone but he uses his hawk when he can’t charge his phone. If Sasuke has a phone shouldn’t he use it to contact his family, talk with little Sarada and his ‘wife’. He also has a hawk so why not use it to exchange letters with them. Apparently, Sasuke doesn’t want to keep in touch with his ‘wife’ and daughter but he probably calls Naruto and for sure sends him letters. What’s more, instead of telling Naruto everything through the phone or by the letter he wants to meet with him face to face. And people will say that he loves Sakura...please. If SS say that he was undercover all these years and he couldn’t contact his family then you forget that Sasuke left Sakura and baby Sarada when he wasn’t assigned to Kaguya mission. He got this mission when Naruto was already the Hokage during the Hokage meeting from the gaiden and Sarada was 7-8 years old then. Btw it is cute how Naruto defends Sasuke ❤️
SS family in the new Boruto chapter
Boruto manga again gives us light at SS family situation. Sarada herself confirms that Sasuke spends so little time with her and he prefers Boruto instead. If Sasuke doesn’t want to spend time with his only child, but prefers someone’s else child then how can SS hope that he spends time with Sakura? Literally, every chapter of Boruto shows Sasuke never at home, almost never with his daughter and Sakura. I don’t know if visiting Sarada in hospital where Sasuke only talks about Boruto or Sakura healing him even counts as family moments. Do you think it is love/okay when your father ignores you and your mother? No, and Sarada said it. She feels flustered about it and maybe even sad judging by her eyes and how she tries to hide it with her body language.
I know that some people don’t like the new chapter where Sasuke gave his headband to Boruto but I think we should look at this from different side. Was Sasuke ever seen to have something precious that remind him of Sakura and Sarada or did he give them something that is precious to him? Never. He carried with him this headband which is a symbol of Naruto’s bond with him and what Naruto did for him (showing him love and acceptance). Now he gave it to Boruto, Naruto’s SON, with whom he has better relationship than with his only child (Sarada even confirmed it herself). Sasuke probably sees Naruto in Boruto, he probably even loves him and trusts him. That’s the reason why he gave his headband to him. He doesn’t treat Boruto as his student anymore, he sees him more as his child and child of a person that he loves and saved him. Giving this headband To Boruto shows how deep their bond have become and Boruto himself says he will treasure this headband for the rest of his life.

The poke is not a gesture of love from Itachi and Sasuke. How do I know this? This panel explains it
Itachi literally said that his hands kept Sasuke away and while doing this he was lying all the time. He never played with Sasuke even if he promised to do it, when he died and said it was finally over, he later came back. Lies after lies. These two fingers are nice way to say no to a child. They create this barrier between people but in a way that it is not rude.
Look at Sasuke’s face, do you think it is the face of a person that knows it means I love you? This expression screams is that it? It was not enough for him and later when Itachi came back he told him about it. Then Sasuke finally understood what was the meaning behind this poke and why Itachi did it. That’s why Sasuke later poked Sakura. It was a nice way to say no to her considering her mentality is like that of a child. SS probably say but she blushed in that panel
Yes but she blushed because her crush touched her. It was the first time he gave her some sort of nice attention and made physical contact with her. But for Sasuke it was a way to say ‘I don’t want you on my journey but thank you for asking and maybe we will meet again’. And of course Sasuke lied because he never came back and she had to chase him... Itachi legacy is still strong 🤣 You want to know what is the real love gesture?

And it is emphasis by the words I will love you forever. Now compare Sasuke’s face here and in the previous panel with Itachi. Here Sasuke finally understands Itachi and his love for his little brother. After this panel Sasuke never questions his brother again. Moreover, as Itachi said his two fingers kept Sasuke far away so now he touches forehead with him, there is no barrier between them, no distance, no more lies, just love.
This panel is so fucking romantic. You can’t say it is what brothers or friends do. Never. Looking at this panel you can feel intense emotions of sadness and longing from Sasuke. He stares at Naruto like he wants to give him goodbye kiss. The rain also indicates that there is something more to this scene, something romantic. Rain is commonly used in romance especially where characters’ body language looks like they want to be together with each other or want to kiss upside down like in this panel. Moreover, there is this contrast between light and dark. Naruto is really bright, he represents the Sun and Sasuke emits darkness, he is the Moon. The Sun and Moon are so close to each other but so far away, they never can be together but they want to be. It is sad but also really beautiful.
Of course they have to bring novels because canon material says otherwise. In Naruto manga he let her fall into lava, tried to kill her, confirmed that he only saved her and Kakashi because they were next to Naruto, when the rock was going to crush her Naruto had to scream to him to save her because he was not eager to do it. In Gaiden when she was taken captive by Shin he didn’t even flinch or say her name, he was like “oh, enemy has time space ninjutsu”, he couldn’t sense her even though she was taken somewhere close where with Naruto he found him in another dimension. In Boruto manga during chunin exams he didn’t even check on her if she is safe. He rushed towards Naruto’s side.... Also if they want to play with this stupid novels shit then they should know that Sasuke was ready to left Sakura and Sarada and die with Naruto. But when you would point this out they would say this is not canon. Hypocrites
it’s funny how narusasu stan’s and ss stan’s are having a debate on twt on who’d sasuke save if he had to choose between naruto and sakura . SS stan’s are fighting for their lives relying on sasuke retsuden and boruto fillers trying so hard to prove their point when we all know he’d risk it all for naruto like HE ALREADY HAS CHOSEN NARUTO OVER HIS OWN LIFE LMFAO AND HE’D DO IT AGAIN.
Yoooo, I still can't believe that they technically made Sasuke and Naruto soul siblings or some shit just to get the shippers to back off, and then it didn't work.
