THE HEADLESS GHOST (Dir: Peter Graham Scott, 1959).
The Headless Ghost is a comedy horror with the accent firmly on comedy.
Three exchange students Americans Ronnie (David Rose) and Bill (Richard Lyon) and Danish Ingrid (Liliane Sottane) spend the night in haunted Ambrose Castle. With the help of the spirit of the 4th Earl of Ambrose (Clive Revill) they must reunite the head and shoulders of Malcolm, the headless ghost of the title. Imagine, if you will, an episode of Scooby Doo Where Are You! sans the Great Dane but with real ghosts and you pretty much have The Headless Ghost in a nutshell.

SCOOBY-DOO & THE CURSE OF THE 13TH GHOST (Dir: Cecilia Aranovich Hamilton, 2019).
Scooby-Doo Where are You! debuted on US TV network CBS in the late summer of 1969 and was an instant success for creators Joe Ruby and Ken Spears and producers Hanna-Barbera. This recent Warner Bros Animation effort is the continuation and conclusion of the 1985 series The 13 Ghosts of Scooby-Doo, a short-lived series which premiered in September 1985 in which Mystery Inc teamed up with the mystical Vincent Van Ghoul in order to capture 13 ârealâ spirits accidentally released from a magic chest by Scooby. Drawing criticism from those who accused the show of endorsing the occult, the show was cancelled before the season end and the final pesky paranormal entities were never captured.
Here we find Mystery Inc on the verge of retirement following the bungling of a recent case when the gang are contacted, via a crystal ball, by old friend and associate Vincent Van Ghoul. Van Ghoul is eager to find the 13th missing spirit and the gang are once again on a ghost hunt. This time around there is no janitor in a rubber mask as the ghosts are real! Or are they? A skeptical Velma is out to prove to the gang that 'ghoul' is not always how it appears.

I want to see something about the fandoms from pieces of media I like.
I personally love the concept of Wakko being friends with Scooby and Shaggy.
It's not some rare, brand new idea, of course. I've read a handful of fics where Wakko and Scooby hang out. It makes a lot of sense that they would know each other. I mean, they're all Warner Bros. toons and can truly "pack away the snacks."
I think it's a super fun idea.
I've got a lot of ideas how their friendship would go. Whenever the gang are in town, Wakko has lunch with them and they catch up. Besides, Wakko loves hearing about their wild adventures and he tells them how his life is going. The mystery-solving duo are some of the only people who legitimately care. They ask about Yakko and Dot. They bring up that Daphne and Dot would get along super well. Maybe they should all hang out together sometime.
The restaurants in Burbank either get super excited or start crying when they see the three of them hanging out together. Scooby, Shaggy, and Wakko eat the most at those times, since they have no need to rush. There's no ghoul running around, or security guard for that matter. Speaking of, Scooby can do a mean Ralph the Guard impression.
They either met on the set of "Scooby-Doo: Where Are You?" back in the day, when the Warners were being loaned around, or...
"Uhuru, Where Are You?" was a copycat show that was intending to air around the same time as competition, and after "accidentally" forcing its delays through injuring their star dog, the Warners guaranteed Scooby and the gang's success.
Maybe one day, the Warners will get to take them up on that offer to join the gang as guest stars for an episode and they'll get to unmask some kooky crook themselves.

The Inquiry Plot
The problem of an inquiry plot involves a question that needs answering for its solution. The classic is Whodunnit? But any who, what, where, when, why, or how style questions can provide the problem for an inquiry plot. Traditionally, try-fail cycles in an inquiry plot come in the form of following clues which can lead to more clues (or questions) or end up being red-herrings that have caused a set back in solving the riddle.
Letâs look at the classic mystery âA Night of Fright is No Delight,â Scooby Doo! Where Are You? Season 1, episode 16. (I went a little overboard on this one, but itâs just too fun!)
If you havenât seen this classic episode, then a quick background is that the gang has been invited to spend the night in an allegedly haunted house for the chance to receive a part of an inheritance along with four other possible heirs.
The Question: Who is the Phantom Shadow?
