Headcanons: Kwazii × Shellington

- Autistic (Shellington) ADHD (Kwazii) Trans (both) solidarity

(I have several headcanons for mental stuff with them + other Octonauts lol)

- Both of them have messed up sleep schedules, they are known for visiting each others room in the middle of the night

- They are both great at cooking, but not together. If they cook together the kitchen WILL burn down

- Not so much a headcanon but fact: They can both purr

- You can walk into a random room and see them laying on each other

- They both forgot words at random and end up saying them in another language

- Kwazii is super flexible. Shellington likes to study things. Kwazii will randomly contort their body in weird ways for Shellington to study them

- Shellington will bring back any cool artifacts they find and give them to Kwazii

- While Kwazii tends to confide in Captain more, he goes to Shellington just as often

- Shellington likes organizing things, so Kwazii will bring him random things to sort in different ways

- Their text messages are some of the most chaotic things you will ever read. There are several points where they aren't even speaking an actual language, it's something they made up in code

- Kwazii probably taught Shellington how to (properly) curse/swear

- Kwazii will ask Shellington to hold stuff in his bag from time to time

- Kwazii has a habit of getting tangled in anything, yarn, seaweed, rope, anything. Shellington is normally the one to get him untangled

- There is an ongoing bet to see who can crash their respective Gup the least amount of times each month. Shellington normally wins

- They have a ton of fidgets and will trade them even now and again to see which ones they like

- The Vegamals are their kids/weird cousins that you see as your kids/younger siblings

- Kwazii is trying to teach Shellington how to backflip off of walls. Shellington is trying to teach Kwazii how to not get tangled in everything they come across. It's taking a lot longer than either of them thought

- Barnacles is the prime victim of Deez Nuts and other verbal jokes

- Barnacles doesn't REALLY participate, but one time he put salt in everyone's coffee/tea (minus Inkling) because Kwazii and Dashi convinced him. He even put it in HIS OWN DRINK because "it's only fair"

- Shellington would be victim of more harmless pranks, such as moving around or hiding books (but NEVER his comfort items)

- Doesn't play pranks unless Kwazii, Dashi, and Tweak are with/need help

- Kwazii would be playing dead/faking injuries/emergencies every other hour

- That or do random whoopee cushions everywhere

- Buckets of water above the door. He would forget they are there and get soaked

- Peso doesn't do too much, probably place stickers at random places

- Or put googly eyes on random objects because it's funny

- Dashi would change everyone's ring tones to meme song

- Kwazii will randomly use Shellington and/or Peso as a pillow. Whatever they were doing before doesn't matter, they now have Kwazii on their lap/shoulder

- Shellington will randomly give Kwazii and Peso small items. Kwazii is confused at first, Peso is a mess every time >:)

- Peso learned how to make kandi from Dashi and makes gifts for Shellington and Kwazii

- Kwazii can and will "steal" objects from the others to show affection (he makes sure they see/notice)

- Shellington is the first to fall asleep every movie night

- Peso always has a tiny sewing kit on hand for whenever Kwazii manages to rip his clothing or if Shellingtons bag ever rips

- When the others are stressed, Kwazii will kind of just like, lay on them and start purring

- Shellington has a collection of Squishmallows that "somehow" match Kwazii and Peso (they altered the plushies lol)

- Peso will try to stop Kwazii and Shellington from doing stupid things, but half way through it will be more of a "haa haa don't" instead of "wait no don't-"

- Kwazii will send some of the most random things, ranging from saying he's going to steal someone's knees, to saying they are going to affectionately unalive someone

- If Shellington sees something, they have to go pick it up. There's no stopping it, they have to go and pick up the object

- Shellington and Peso wear glasses/contacts

- They all stim together, you can't convince me otherwise

- They trade + share fidgets (minus chewelry and their main comfort fidget[s])

- None of them have good depth perception, they have a list keeping track of how many times they accidently bumb into objects or people

- Whenever Kwazii finds a new place with treasure Peso and Shellington help them make/draw a map by hand

- If one of them fixates on something it's likely they will all fixate on it. There was some point where they were all fixated on Pokemon thanks to Kwazii (pretend that Pokemon games exist in their world-)

- Shellington knows how to knit and tried to teach the others. Long story short, Peso is kind of good, and Kwazii managed to get stuck and tangled in the yarn and somehow tied to a chair

- Peso has tried to each them how to do basic first aid, which failed horribly. I will leave what happened to your imagination

- Shellington steals their clothing normally

- Kwazii has 0 cold resistance, Peso has 0 heat resistance, Shellington is "neutral" (can't handle anything too hot or cold)

- They have each other's safe foods + triggers memorized

- Aggressively corrects anyone who misgenders their s/o(s) and/or friends

- Aggressive affection. Kwazii will pounce, Shellington will nip, Peso will preen out of nowhere

- Sleep piles. These people sleep in a pile whenever they sleepover/are together on a mission

- Kwazii starts with the idea of doing chaotic things. Shellington enables them. Peso tries to stop them but gets dragged in. Chaos ensues

- That one screenshot of the 3 people on the subway? The person sleeping with pizza, person with crow/raven on their leg, and person in a wedding dress crying? That's them. Shellington, Kwazii, Peso

- During Halloween they try to coordinate their costumes. This almost never works

- Kwazii will quote random things. Peso and Shellington won't understand and end up having to watch/learn about what he quoted

- They will point at each other whenever they see each other and either yell "gay", "you're gay", "trans person spotted", or something else

- Peso found out that Shellington and Kwazii react to lazer pointers. Do with that what you will

- Kwazii got them both into Homestuck.

Headcanons

- Not so much a headcanon but fact (mainly for cats but also otters) : they can both purr. Purring can occur when they are either happy, nervous, or hurt in some cases. Do with that what you will

- They get separated for long periods of time due to missions and such. When they meet back up it's insanely adorable and sometimes chaotic

- Kwazii will often go completely silent and/or off the radar while on far-off missions and not contact ANYONE, including Shellington. This causes a lot of stress and panic for Shellington.

"What if they don't come back"

"Is he alive?"

"When will they be back?"

- When Kwazii DOES come back (if not injured or dragged back because of a distress signal they had to send as a last resort), Shellington will go 110% on happy stims and basically TACKLE Kwazii down in a hug

- They both get hurt fairly often. Kwazii is concerningly good at hiding their injuries, Shellington is also pretty good. The main way they find out the other is injured is when showing affection and the other faintly flinches. That or they can tell by changes in how they normally move around

- Once one finds out the other is hurt? The hurt one is getting "dragged" either to Peso or to their own room. If it's to their own room then the one who is uninjured/the least injured will patch them up ^^

- They both affectionately bite

- They both get attached VERY easily. Find a baby bird? They'll try to keep it. Baby dolphin? They'll try to keep it. Baby ANYTHING? THEY ARE TRYING TO KEEP IT. Unfortunately they never can, not for long at least. Most of the time they try to hide the creature lol

- I've said this is most every headcanon I've posted, and will keep saying it: SLEEP PILE

- Kwazii has an insane amount of scars, all of which Shellington loves to trace over with their hand

- Shellington also has their fair share of scar, a few from burns, some from broken glass, a LOT on their hands from messing with sharp coral or sea creatures. Kwazii is more cautious when tracing them

- So many of Kwaziis bones have been broken/dislocated, mainly in his tail and wrists. It still hurts them well after

- Sea Otters normally only have one pup. (less than 2% have more than 1 pup) If they have more than on they will abandon the other. They will likely no longer swim with the living after 24 hours unless they are taken in captivity. Do with that what you will

- Don't ask why but Shellington gives the vibe of the color green, specifically faded or dull greens /pos

- there is a fair amount of angst here and I wasn't even thinking- have some fluff

- Kwazii will kinda just, kneed on Shellington while they are working

- Kwazii is better at cooking while Shellington it better at baking

- They will sleep over (read as "tail/shadow the other until they are tired and end up in a room") frequently. Each time they either watch YouTuber play games, play games themselves, or vibe while telling stories

- Instant Dad Mode (said as if he's not in Dad Mode 99% of the time-)

- Doesn't always know what to do, but he tires his best

- Would ask what was wrong or if anything happened

- He honestly (almost) takes the most time out of anyone here to make sure you're ok [not that the others don't take time], this man is thorough

- He gives great bone crushing hugs, the type of hugs you'd never forget (in a good way)

- Gives the Dad Pep Talk (TM) to you (the good one, not the "What's 6 × 3" angry pep talk)

- Doesn't really know how to approach at first

- Ends up going in calm before going more energetic

- Always asks if your up to do anything to distract you from whatever may have happened

- Would 100% tell you stories about Calico Jack or some things they've done before joining the Octonauts

- You have a high chance of getting softly tackles and purred on by Kwazii. As well as getting biscuits made on you

- I'm 90% sure he's the oldest (if not one of the middle-older) of like, 50- most are cousins but they are basically siblings in a Spanish family (- from a Spanish person)

- The first time he's a little nervous, but after that they find things that will work for you ^^

- Would build a pillow fort, no questions asked. They are the 2nd best in the Octopod when it comes to pillow forts

- Probably pulls out a sticker sheet and gives you some, ESPECIALLY if they have puns

- Movie night, you guys just vibe in a pillow fort watching some good movies with some snacks. Maybe the Vegimals will join you guys

- No hesitation, grabs your hand (or asks you to follow her if you don't like touch) and plans something fun to do

- One of the first questions out if their mouth is if you want/need to vent

- Hypes you up no matter what. Got in an argument? Get it, you stood firm and held your ground. Someone left you? You're going to get better, you're doing amazing now.

- She'll show you her photo album/vidoes, especially photos of funny moments she managed to capture

- They'd 100% pull out a box of horror movies that are so bad they are funny, and spend the night watching them with you

Tweak

- It takes a bit for Tweak to fully notice, but when they do, it's game over

- Pillow Fort. You can't tell me that they aren't the best at making pillow forts

- Yes, they are working on something while you're talking (if you are OK with talking) but she is paying attention and holding on to every detail while planning on what to say

- After a while (especially if it's late) they will have their video game console ready to go with another controller ready for use (if you want to play)

- Probably plays some more chill and calming games, like Harvest Moon, Animal Crossing, or Uno

- That or more high energy games, like Splatoon, Bioshock, or Overwatch (those games do a good job at taking your mind off of things)

- Guess what? You now own a very cool looking piece of coral

- After that they lead you to their lab and starts setting up a little blanket fort (different from a pillow fort)/nest for you guys to vibe in

- The Vegimals join after a little while and will just lay on you guys

- Shellington would read to you, no questions asked

- That, or set up a projector they have and watch some movies (probably Disney or Pixar, maybe a history movie or two)

- Looks at you for a bit to get a good read on you, similar to Shellington

- After a while he'll approach you and ask for you to follow him to the Library

- There, there's already tea and other things ready for you guys

- Doesn't pressure you to talk to him about anything, just grabs a book and starts reading (out loud if you ask)

- Give some of the BEST advice. He's pretty old, and is seen as a grandfather by anyone he works with. This dude has wisdom and knows how to give it to you in a nice manner

- Will either bake something for you, or get you to help them bake for others (and yourself, depends on what you like)

- You get to see the chaos unfold around you as flour rains down around you

- That, or they will take you to the Garden Pod to do some gardening with them (this normally ties in with baking/cooking tho, they need to get ingredients)

- I headcanon that they can purr, and they pur LOUD

- One would just climb on your back and start purring (probably Salepeño, Barrot, or Codish)

- Gives you their jacket, and no, they won't take no for am answer here

- Also makes you some hot coco/coffee/tea

- Lets you talk when you want to, it's your choice

- Likes to show you cool things they found to take your mind off of things

- At some point they'll break the (likely) silence with a flurry of encouragement and affection, "You're doing amazing", "I know things are rough, but you'll be able to pull through", "You should be proud of yourself, you're doing well" and other other things

- Doesn't even question it that much, he kinda just... takes you???

- Think about the thing cat's do with their kittens, that

- Makes you a nice drink, sits you down, and just talks with you. You don't have to respond if you don't want to, he'll gladly ramble on about his work and support for you

- Tells some really funny stories (such as how he met Barnacles by hitting him in the face with a snowball) [headcanon]

- You'll probably end up falling asleep by mistake, but he's happy. Brings out a fluffy blanket and drapes it over you. Get some rest, you deserve it ^^

Bianca

- Orson and Ursa are already on you asking questions, but they only want to cheer you up and help you feel better

- Bianca probably sends them off to play for a bit while she stays with you

- Instant hug (if you're ok with it), just as strong as Barnacles

- She gives amazing advice, and is always willing to help (and throw hands, just in case)

- Ursa and Orson come back after a while with little snow bunnies they made

Ranger Marsh

- Would ask what was wrong but walk away before you could answer

- Then he'd have a baby alligator in his arms and just hand it to you/put it on your lap

- Congratulations, you now have a therapy alligator

- He would also hand you a packet of crackers and some water. Don't think when you're dehydrated/hungry, there's a fair chance that your brain and body is being pissy. He's a walking Snickers ad in a way

- Also does the (good) Dad Pep Talk (TM) at the end

- How they respond depends on where you are, so for this I'll just say your guys are in the Amazon-

- Would 100% make a fake treasure hunt for you to take your mind off of things

- I don't know much about Panni, but I feel like he'd offer you a nice rock

- If you guys are outside he'd try to take you to a place with a good view and have a little picnic with you (that they TOTALLY didn't make last minute /s [he made it last minute] )

- Just vibes with you watching the sky and clouds. Also probably looked at the sun by mistakes at least once no I'm not projecting

- Will try to get you to talk about it, but will back off if you don't want to. He's glad to fill the silence with things he's done
