older brother touya au, endeavor is still an asshole, shouto interacts w his siblings lol, bby shouto, hyper active kinda rough reader (you tackle shouto), shouto and touya have an unspecified age gap but i was thinkin like 10 years (so touya is 17 and shou is 7), just a liiiil bit angsty but mostly fluffy, lemme know if i missed sum else !

Older Brother Touya Au, Endeavor Is Still An Asshole, Shouto Interacts W His Siblings Lol, Bby Shouto,

touya knows his little brother shouto is kinda weird.

he rarely ever sees him happy, or with any sort of emotion on his face for that matter. he has little habits that he hates not being able to follow and he's incredibly nit picky about them. he doesn't outwardly emote but that doesn't mean he couldn't be bratty when he wanted to be, cus he is but that's also about super specific weird stuff like what he wants to have for dinner (which always ends up being cold soba anyways).

he's also not much of a talker. he's a little shy, but he also just doesn't like talking. it's impossible to miss the huge red scar around his eye, he doesn't like to play outside and roughhouse like touya did when he was his age and he still doesn't have any friends at school. shouto never seemed to be bothered by it, though touya assumes that his peers might find him weird too.

except they better not, because touya's the only one who can call his brother weird. and deep down, he worries a little for him.

until he comes back home from school, his sweater is tucked out and there's a dirt stain on it. his hair is messy and his backpack is haphazardly closed, his little notebooks propped inside and his pencil case threatening to fall out.

natsuo, the one charged to pick him up that day, sheepishly scratches at his neck "he won't tell me what happened to him." he explains as touya practically charges towards shouto, he doesn't look hurt, so his older brother roughly turns him around to check his bag.

" but i told you what happened, natsu-nii."

"you don't have to lie, shouto--"

"what happened to you ?" touya cuts in, looking inside his brothers bag to check if nothing was missing, it looks intact from what he can tell.

"i played with my friend." shouto says simply, like that explains why he looked like he'd just walked through a hurricane. touya already knows he's gonna get an earful about this from his father. he inwardly groans.

"you sure your friend didn't just mug you ?" he flips his brother around and shouto's little arms flail as he does, unbothered by his brother's rough treatment. he tilts his head, touya sighs.

"bully you, i mean."

shouto's eyes widen, then he hurriedly shakes his head, denying him ever getting bullied and simply claiming he was playing. touya shares a look with natsuo, who looks just as unconvinced as him at his brothers words.

"who's this friend of yours, shou ?"

"yn."

"yn ?" both brothers say at the same time. shouto nods and touya catches a small little glint in his eyes as he looks back at him "she's really nice."

"this doesn't seem nice. you look like you got robbed." touya furrows his brows, sneering at his brothers dirty shirt. he starts dragging the youngest toward the bathroom. hopefully he'd be fully clean before their father got home and he wouldn't have to get in trouble. for god knows what reason. enji todoroki would probably find a way to place the blame on him, something about how he should've been the one to pick him up or gotten there earlier he guesses.

"yn likes to play games where you move around a lot." is what he offers as explanation. touya hums absentmindedly as he ushers his brother into the bathroom, deciding on how he should deal with his youngest brother's first ever bully. because of the age gap he doubts the kid is any smaller than his brother is, so he thinks he'll probably just try to scare off whoever this yn is.

"how 'bout i pick you up from school tomorrow and i can meet yn. that sound good ?" and shouto excitedly nods at the idea, gushing about how funny and nice you are and that you share your snacks with him. it's weird how fondly he talks about his bully, but touya knows his brother's always been a little weird, he probably has no idea what's happening to him. the thought makes him frown just a bit harder.

the next day after school, touya is already at the gates before they've even opened ready to scare the pants off of his brothers harasser. he sees shouto walking out of the gates with a few other kids, alone. the little boy perks up once he sees him and sends him a high wave, which touya returns with one of his own lazier one's.

"where's your friend ?" he tries his best not the spit the word too venomously, shouto doesn't seem to notice.

"yn is coming. her bag isn't closing well, so she told me to go ahead without her." he explains, reaching for his brother's hand absentmindedly.

touya is about to respond when he hears yelling. yelling that gets closer and closer to them until he notices too late that a little person is rushing towards his brother. before he can pull him out of the way the person has jumped onto shouto and knocked the both of them onto the ground. and touya watches flabbergasted as his younger brother does not look surprised at all, like shit like this just happened every tuesday. his mouth falls open when the little girl that had charged into his brother excitedly starts hopping slightly on top of him.

"shouto !"

"hi, yn."

touya is going to fucking lose his mind.

you get closer to shouto's face still sitting on him, touya assumes to make sure he could hear you even thought he doubts he couldn't before. " i thought ya left without me, i couldn't see you !"

shouto shakes his head, still on the floor "i said i would wait for you." he says seriously. and you practically beam, nudging your cheek to his and rubbing it against his affectionately. shouto doesn't seem fazed by it, but he definitely doesn't seem angry.

you don't seem like a bully, at least.

you finally realise you're not alone, looking up at touya strangely "who're you ?" you ask bluntly. shouto responds before he could. "touya- nii's my older brother, he's the one i wanted to show you."

you don't seem like a bully, especially not when you immediately turn to shouto the moment he opens his mouth, holding onto every word you hear. your eyes widen looking between touya and him, "that's your brother ?!" shouto nods proudly. you finally get off of him allowing shouto to get up too.

"coool !" you exclaim, but then you quickly turn towards shouto " but you're cooler, shouto !" shouto's eyes widen, before he almost bashfully looks away, claiming that his touya-nii is was way cooler than him. touya has never seen his brother this expressive before. it might not be much for others, and if he were anybody else he'd think so too. but even the fact his brows raise when you speak and he actually engages in conversation with you, as short as he keeps it, is surprising.

but from that small interaction, he can assume that you're not a bully. and he understands why his brother looked like he got jumped yesterday.

you're so much more different then him though, it's weird. you're hyper and giggly and chatty. you jump around and you can't seem to pull yourself away from shouto, who really doesn't seem unhappy although you're a bit rough about it. it’s like you’re glued to him.

shouto who barely even talks to his family talks to easily with you, even though you start the conversation all the time. shouto who only ever eats cold soba gleams at your promise to bring more snacks to share with him, like you apparently do every day. and shouto who touya barely ever sees emote, smiles when you tell him something funny. he can't tell wether his little brother smiles because he actually finds what you said funny or because you do. but whatever it is, it's making him happy.

touya is so shocked simply staring at his brother interact with another human being that he fails to use the little 'leave my brother alone if you know what's good for you.' speech he'd practiced the night before and suddenly you have to go. waving at him and shouto (not before hugging him with all your might first), who sadly waves back as he watches you leave. though he cheers up just a bit when with a last wave you tell him that you'll see him tomorrow.

touya, despite not having said a word feels incredibly tired, so he starts pulling his brother along home with him.

"so..that was your friend."

shouto nods "yn." he says.

"yn." touya parrots, eyes drifting from his brother to the road ahead of him. "she's kinda weird, huh ?"

at that, shouto's eyebrows furrow hard and he furiously shakes his head, tugging at his brother’s hand "no. she's nice." he corrects adamantly. touya stares at his brother, before looking away again "right.." he sighs "well, she seems to like you a lot."

his little brother nods again, a faint smile forms on his face "cus the people in class are mean to her. cus she's new and they say she's weird, but i don't think she is." he rambles, he actually rambles, touya blinks. he doesn't think he's ever been more surprised than he's been today. "yeah ?" is all he utters.

"yeah. people think i'm weird too, but yn says she thinks i'm cool." touya's eyes soften at his brothers words. he raises his arm up so his little brother is slightly lifted in the air. "course you're cool, you're my little brother." smiling softly to himself when shouto giggles.

touya knows that his little brother is weird, but he doesn't have to be worried anymore. cus it seems you like him, that you think he's cool and that you're weird too, in your own way. shouto keeps coming back home with dirty clothes and messy hair after that, but with happy and satisfied eyes and little candies he shares with his siblings that he made them promise to keep a secret. and he thinks his little brother will be fine, as weird as he is.

fem reader, fluff, hurt/comfort, reader gets into a fight, this fits into the weirdo! shouto ficlet i wrote, older bro touya au, shouto's scar, kindaaa non neurotypical shouto hinted if you squint lol, shouto n reader are lil misfits, lemme know if i missed sum else !

Fem Reader, Fluff, Hurt/comfort, Reader Gets Into A Fight, This Fits Into The Weirdo! Shouto Ficlet I

"can i help you, young man ?"

"i hurt my knee."

you're laying in the nurses office when a familiar voice hits your ears.

"oh really ?" no verbal response but you assume there's a nod because the nurse continues "what happened ?" she sounds skeptical.

"i fell." the person, a boy, replies. the nurse sighs, complaining to herself about kids these days coming to the nurses office for every little thing. you're still pretending to be asleep, not wanting to go back to class yet because you know your classmates won't leave you alone. your face is turned away as you hear the office door shut and soon after there's shuffling in the bed next to you.

your eyes snap open and you turn to see a scarred boy looking right at you, blinking slowly.

"shouto !"

"hi." he answers simply. unmoving, he lays on his stomach. after getting over your shock you copy him. "what're you doing here ?" you ask. your friend blinks in response.

"i hurt my knee."

you look at him incredulously "what are you really doing here ?"

shouto lays quietly simply staring at you. he has a habit of doing that, you've heard your classmates call it weird, but you like when he looks at you. his eyes are pretty. his gaze trails off towards the sheets, "i wanted to come see you." he admits. your eyes widen and you feel your ears burn. shouto doesn't seem affected by his confession, his face as deadpan as it usually is.

"everyone is talking about you in class." your nose scrunches up at his words, huffing with a scowl. "what're they saying ?"

"that you won."

that makes your scowl shrink a bit. your eyebrows raise and you shuffle a bit on the bed and hum. shouto only stares. he isn't much of a talker. you've noticed it's because he just doesn't realise that you're supposed to keep making conversation when you're talking with someone. your classmate mahoro says it makes things awkward, but shouto has such kind eyes when he looks at you, you don't mind. and sometimes, you don't really feel like talking either.

"you didn't have to do that you know." is what he says after a while, you blink at him like you'd already forgotten and he continues. "you didn't have to push tanaka like that, it wasn't a big deal."

tanaka, just the mention of the boy's name is enough to make your scowl return full force.

he's one of your classmates that keeps making jokes that all his other friends laugh at that aren't even funny. he doesn't bother you much, but he's kind of a bully and he makes a face whenever you end up on his team for dodgeball. he makes sure you see it too.

you don't care about him much, because he doesn't bother you. but he bothers shouto. you think he does so because shouto doesn't care to confront him about it so he thinks he's stupid. but shouto's the smartest in your class. today though, he went too far and it made you mad, so you shoved him and he'd shoved you back and suddenly you were surrounded by a group of kids screaming in your ears. your face stung from where he'd hit you and then a teacher was pulling you away from him. then you'd ended up here.

shouto hadn't been coming to school for a bit a while ago and when he did come back he had a huge bandage over his left eye. you'd tried to ask him about it but he never told you. so you never pried, but you heard the (not so quiet) whispers from your classmates and shouto who never seemed like he cared, furrowed his brows and slightly clenched his fists underneath your shared desk whenever he'd hear them. and it got worse when he took the bandage off, revealing a big red blotchy scar.

shouto doesn't usually mind what people think, but he'd asked you if he looked ugly and you assured him that you thought he looked super cool. (you'd never seen his eyes so wide and shiny, so pretty.)

tanaka had disagreed with you though. he opened his big mouth and told shouto he looked better with his bandage on. and you'd snapped. you hated that stupid bandage because it'd make his usual face so gloomy. because you only got to see one of his kind eyes and you loved looking at both.

and so, here you were.

"he had it comin', he made fun of you !" you scowl, shouto's brows furrow the slightest bit as well, mildly irritated. "but you got in trouble."

"well, he made fun of you !" you repeat. you both stay unmoving, laying on your stomach while the nurse is out on lunch break. shouto's lips move up into a pout and for the first time ever you hear him huff.

"i wasn't mad about it. i was fine." he insists, his eyes drift towards his fingers picking at his sheets. "you got hurt because of me, and i don't like that." he mumbles sadly. his cheek smushed against the hard pillow makes him look like a little puppy. you hear your heart in your ears.

"well, i didn't just do it for you," you try, "tanaka's always pickin' on everyone, so i taught him a lesson." you huff. you believed you sounded convincing, but shouto looks anything but convinced. others can't see it well, but you can.

"but everyone's gonna think you did it for me. and they're gonna call you weird again," shouto grips and pulls at the white sheets, you're worried they'll rip off and he'll get in trouble. "even though you're not."

you don't care, you'd been called weird plenty of times at your old school. but shouto's bothered for you and your heart beats in your ears "do you think i'm weird ?" shouto quickly shakes his head, as best he can in the position he's in. your chest feels warm and you smile.

"then i don't care what everyone thinks."

the sound of sheets crinkling stops, and shouto stares at you again. he sits up to instead go sit down on your bed. you bring your legs closer to yourself to make space for him.

"i still don't want you to get hurt, even if it's not just for me." his pretty eyes, one surrounded by red zero on you " i don't like it."

shouto never seemed picky to you. except when it came to his lunch (which was always cold soba) and the order in which he started his day at school (first he changes his shoes, then he takes off his jacket and then went to sit in his seat. exactly like this every day.)

he never told you he particularly liked or disliked anything, usually always shrugging. but he said he doesn't like seeing you hurt. it had made him panic when people started pushing him away to see the fight and he couldn't see you anymore. your classmates were talking about you and he didn't like it. the nurse stood in his way and he didn't like it because she kept him away from you for longer.

he does not like tanaka because he'd punched you in the cheek, your cheek that rises up like the sun when you smile at him.

i don't like when you get hurt, he says. i don't want you to hurt because of me, he thinks. you've got a bandaid on your cheek where you'd gotten punched, but you grin and your cheek rises like the sun, shouto hears his heart in his ears.

you hold out your pinky and promise him you won't do it anymore. holding onto your pinky is comfortable and even after promising he doesn't let go. not even when the nurse checks up on you and scolds you when you shamelessly tell her why you'd landed in her office. he doesn't let go in the hallways even when others are looking. they'll think you're weird for hanging out with him, but you told him you didn't care, and shouto feels like he's floating.

( he only lets go when you get to the principal's office. but he ignores the teacher who passed by and told him to get to class and wraps his pinky right back around yours when you walk back out. your smile is pretty like the sun.)

one time, touya-nii had called you weird, and touya-nii is always right. but this time shouto knows he's wrong. because your smile doesn't dim despite the bandaid on your cheek and you only look at him when you get back to class, despite the people calling for you, your pinky stays tightly wrapped around his, only moving so you can readjust and hold it better.

touya is clearly wrong, and shouto knows you're the nicest person in the world.

Your Boyfriend Has A Little Habit Of Being Sort Of..spacey. Or At Least He Looks Like He Is.

your boyfriend has a little habit of being sort of..spacey. or at least he looks like he is.

despite his..ditzy and aloof appearance. shouto is very acutely aware of his surroundings.

especially when you’re in said surroundings.

he’s walking along the hallways with his friends, they’re chatting about everything and nothing, school and about the results of their last test. shouto doesn’t feel the need to interject, happy to simply listen and respond when he’s spoken to. except his mind is also kind of elsewhere at the moment because even in there he’s looking for you.

no matter what he’s doing, shouto todoroki has a piece of you in his mind. if his friends are worrying about their test results he’s perfectly fine, cus he studied with you. the letters he sends to his mom talk about his daily life, with little details about you sprinkled in. his father is trying to coerce him into coming to his agency again, shouto thinks it’d be a lot more enjoyable if you were with him.

you’re not with them right now, because mr. aizawa had asked you to send in some papers to the teacher’s lounge. you said you’d catch up with your friends as soon as possible and shouto’s listening, he really is. but he’s also scanning the crowd hoping to catch a little glimpse of you.

“what about you, todoroki ?”

shouto blinks, hearing his name come out of his freckled friend’s lips as he blinks at him expectantly with a smile. ochaco and iida also seem to be awaiting a response.

okay, so maybe he hadn’t been listening as well as he claimed..

“i’m sorry. i didn’t catch that last part, what were you saying ?” he asks bluntly, midoriya doesn’t mind and he repeats “i was asking you how you think your test went.” he chirps, shouto hums thinking about the question.

“i studied well for it, so i think it went well,” his friends hum, iida congratulates him for staying focused on his academics, waving his hand around in chopping motions.

and of course, shouto is always looking for you, so nobody’s surprised when he adds “yn also helped me study, so i think i’ll be..”

everyone is surprised though when he suddenly trails off. and without another word shouto walks ahead of his friends further down the crowded hallway. the lack of “oh, give me a second.” or “ i’ll be right back.”, the lack of anything stuns the three students so hard they freeze into place. they wonder what could’ve made him speed off in such a hurry, until ochaco gets a good look and points towards the dual haired boy.

ah, shouto’s found you.

you’re surprised to see him, your eyes widen “oh, hey sho !” he returns your greeting, his face hasn’t really changed from an outsiders point of view, but he leans in towards you the moment the words leave your lips and his whole face has gone soft, almost pudgy when you smile at him.

“i didn’t except to see you, you scared me !”

he blinks at that, shock settles onto his face as he bows his head in shame “i’m sorry, i didn’t mean to..” simple, but earnest and it makes you melt.

“oh no, no ! you just popped up outta nowhere and it surprised me is all, got nothing to be sorry about.” you reassured, shouto’s expression changes and he returns, nodding happily.

“i missed you.”

you snort “i was gone for at most 10 minutes, shouto.”

“it was 11 minutes. and i missed you during that one extra minute, too.” if he had a tail, it’d be wagging at the speed of sound the way his face brightens when you laugh. you call him unbelievable and a small smile grows on his face

he’s just about to ask if you need help with your bag when you suddenly wave behind him. at your friends, who all share a sort of teasing, but also absolutely not surprised look.

oh, woops..

shouto’s the type to feel too far away from you when you’re not at arms length. so whenever he has homework to do he does it on his tatami floor while holding your hand. he’s unbothered too, arm not cramping or moving while he writes perfectly well (or he tries) with his other hand. when you think about your position you can’t help but laugh from your spot laying on the floor. shouto never gets what you find funny.

older brother touya au, quirk training is mentioned but no quirk mentioned for reader, abusive todoroki household, endeavous is a piece of shit, angst, kinda rough hyper fem reader (you push shouto at one point), lmk if i missed sum else !!

Older Brother Touya Au, Quirk Training Is Mentioned But No Quirk Mentioned For Reader, Abusive Todoroki

shouto, lately, has been showing up to school with bandages on his arms. and touya knows others find that weird.

for a while now, their father’s training had been more grueling than ever. touya recognizes it in the sounds of screaming and pillars breaking and the coughing of his younger brother as he holds back a sob. not like you could hear it over the sound of enji todoroki’s booming voice yelling at him to get up anyways.

touya recognizes himself from before he was deemed a failure. he recognizes the coughs and wheezes but he thinks his were slightly different from shouto. his tiredness left him sore and unresponsive, complaining about muscular pains that touya never complained about himself. maybe because he ignored them until they were too painful to bear, all to please his father. to be his perfect creation.

but he isn’t, shouto is. and the boy doesn’t like it one bit.

his little brother comes to him most nights sniffling, clinging to him and pleading for touya to let him stay the night in his room. and he always says yes, of course he will, cus he’s his little brother. who’s just a little weird, but who he cares about deeply.

shouto sniffles about how he doesn’t like training with father, how he wishes he could spend time with his older siblings again instead. touya’s eyebrows furrow and he squeezes his brother harder. because he doesn’t like it either.

“if dad ever pisses you off, you can come to me, yeah ? i’ll be there.” shouto chastises him for swearing as he calls it, but touya doesn’t care, cus it made his little brother giggle a little even though he barely does. and it makes him chuckle too.

he remembers what training with his dad felt like when he still had potential. he remembers it was kind of like a father son experience. his dad would look at him proudly when he managed to pull off a new move, praising him in the only way he knew how to and encouraging him to keep aiming higher, to make his fire burn stronger. that he’d even surpass him.

but then the burning started to hurt. then the training started happening less often, and when it did it more desperate than anything. nothing was ever good, he had to keep pushing, keep burning. harder, stronger and faster. because he needed to surpass him.

it didn’t feel like a father son anything after that, it wasn’t fun and his body hurt. but the sudden change in demeanor was jarring, he remembers. it hurts to remember how his father had gone from this to simply just..giving up on him. but he thinks it must be horrible for shouto to immediately go through the tyrant that is endeavor at such a young age, rather than at least liking it at first like touya had.

of course he wouldn’t like it, touya doesn’t like it either.

Older Brother Touya Au, Quirk Training Is Mentioned But No Quirk Mentioned For Reader, Abusive Todoroki

“sho, i think we should get married.”

shouto’s laying on the grass with you when you suddenly speak to him. his eyes widen just a bit and when he turns his head to question you, you’re smiling like the sun. he likes that about you.

“why ?”

you jump up, leaning over him a bit, everything else is blocked out but you, shouto thinks he prefers it that way.

“cuuuuuz,” you sing “it’d be fun, right ?”

“to get married ?” you nod. shouto blinks at you. and when he keeps looking you shyly look away.

he figures you’re somewhat right, though. in the movies he watches with fuyumi, people seem to have a lot of fun during weddings, they seem happy. shouto wants to be happy with you, as simple as that, so he responds with the first thing that comes to mind.

“okay.”

and if he thought you were the sun before, he’s proven wrong immediately because the smile you send him blinds him. he hopes you’ll smile like that again every single day, it’d make him happy. you squeal and pull him up to you to squeeze him tight, the sudden move hurts a bit, but he doesn’t mind. it doesn’t hurt like his father does and it’s you, so he doesn’t mind and let’s you squeeze him to your hearts content.

“we’re engaged now, then !” you tell him, “so that means your my fiancé. when we’re grown ups, i’ll ask you again, okay ?” you ask giddily, you stand up because you can’t stand still anymore and you pull him along with you. shouto readjusts your fingers so he’s holding onto your pinky (he likes it that way) and he nods. “okay,” he answers again.

natsu-nii told him that he should speak more once, because people think that one word answers are rude sometimes. but he doesn’t like talking to people, and he doesn’t care if they think he’s rude and you get so happy when he speaks to you. you’re the only person he wants to talk to and you’re happy, so why should that bother him ?

shouto can’t wait until he’s a grown up. he’s sure when he’s a grown up, he won’t have to listen to his dad all the time, he’ll be stronger and will be able to fight back. but now, he can’t wait to be a grown up so you can get married for real.

Older Brother Touya Au, Quirk Training Is Mentioned But No Quirk Mentioned For Reader, Abusive Todoroki

apparently, shouto’s getting pulled out of school.

he hears touya angrily talking with his nanny about him. they can’t see him from where he's hiding behind the door. shouto can't remember a time where his older brother had sounded so mad, not even when he gets mad at him for being a brat. touya always seemed the angriest when their father was involved.

he keeps swearing, calling something bullshit. but shouto realises that if he gets pulled out of school, he won't be seeing you anymore.

so, just to be sure. when training is over and his father has ordered him to patch himself up, he asks.

"are you going to pull me out of school ?"

shouto holds back a flinch when his father stops in his tracks and turns to look at him slightly. all he responds with is "who told you ?" shouto only shrugs. enji stays quiet before finally responding.

"it's what's best for you. you are meant to surpass me."

shouto doesn't like talking to his father, it makes him nervous. he misses when his mom was here to comfort him, to tell him it was okay to be scared sometimes. shouto picks at his bandages, his mom had told him to stop one time, because it makes them come loose. but he's nervous.

"but..i have to got to school.." he utters quietly, he clenches his fist to keep it from shaking. "i'll get you a teacher." his father responds easily, he doesn't understand. shouto bites his lip.

"but..my friend at school.." shouto keeps his eyes to the floor, he knows his father is looking down at him and he doesn't want to look back. "yn..will wanna know where i am..'cus she wants to get married.."

enji todoroki huffs loudly, grumbling to himself. "what do you know about marriage.." he scoffs, and he keeps it at that. walking off and before he slides the door shut, he reminds shouto to patch himself up.

shouto doesn't jump when the door slams. and now that he thinks about it he doesn't know much about marriage.

Older Brother Touya Au, Quirk Training Is Mentioned But No Quirk Mentioned For Reader, Abusive Todoroki

"i don't think we should get married anymore."

you're usually always talking, shouto likes that about you. but now you just blink at him.

"..what ?"

you're always smiling at him, shouto likes that about you. but now you're frowning at him.

shouto swallows, it feels hard to "i don't want to get married anymore."

you're frowning at him, it's hard to swallow. you like sitting on the swings with him, and shouto likes that you taught him to go on it by himself, but he thinks he's ruined it for you now.

"why not ?"

you sound sad, shouto doesn't like it. he wants you to be happy all the time. but he won't be able to go to school soon, he won't see you anymore. and that'd make you even more sad. he doesn't know what else to do.

shouto can't bring himself to respond because he doesn't have a reason. he wants to be with you, he wants to hold your pinky and he wants to marry you. he wants you to smile at him so hard it blinds him. but he doesn't know anything about marriage. besides what he's seen on tv and from his own mom and dad. and his mom doesn't live at home anymore, because his dad had sent her away. when you get married you have fun and you're happy but his mom never was. you're always happy and he doesn't want you to be sad like his mom was, because you're the nicest person in the world.

so he just shrugs. natsu-nii had told him that people would find that rude once, and he thinks maybe he should've listened. you abruptly get up and stand in front of him. he looks up at you and wishes he'd never had because you look so sad. you want him to think you're angry, but he can tell with you.

"so you lied to me ?"

he wants to say no, because he doesn't mean it. but in your mind he probably did, he looks away. he can't look at you anymore because your lip is wobbling like you want to cry. angrily, you push at his shoulder, shouto trains with his father almost every day, he has the bandages under his sweater to prove it. but this hurts so much more.

"i hate liars !" you yell at him, shouto's never heard you yell besides that one time you'd punched tanaka in the face and ended up at the nurses office. you push him again and your voice is wobbly when you tell him you hate him before you run away. you're leaving without him. shouto can't move from where he's still slightly swinging on the swing. he doesn't like it anymore, but he can't go anywhere, because you're not holding onto his pinky and he can't readjust it to hold yours better.

shouto feels colder suddenly now that you're away, but he can't move as he grips the bars of the swing tighter and his lip wobbles.

touya, for the first time in a while, sees his brother come back home completely clean. and extremely sad.

Older Brother Touya Au !!, Touya Dyed His Hair Like Once, Scratching But Not Shigi Level Lol, Touya Has

on the first day at your new school, you immediately notice shouto. mostly because he's the only one in your class with different coloured eyes. you don't get much time to dwell on him, because you still have to introduce yourself to your classmates.

when break rolls around you're alone. it's not like this was new to you, but you're interested in the one other boy who's alone too. the boy from earlier with the different coloured hair and eyes. you can't help but wonder who his favourite hero is. that's always something people want to talk about. would it be all might ? he's always everyone's favourite. his favourite colour would probably be blue..or maybe green ?

you have to find out, so you march up to where he's sitting alone by the swings.

"hi !" you chirp, offering him your widest smile. he doesn't smile back, seeming a little startled. woops, maybe you were a little too loud. his eyes look even cooler up close.

"i'm yn !" you say, just a little bit quieter this time. he keeps observing you, recovering from his earlier surprise. "i know, i heard. in class." he responds, you blink at him.

"i didn't think you were listening. you were lookin' out the window and stuff, so.." he keeps inspecting you, he's quieter than you are for sure. he decides to simply not respond to you, continuing to slowly rock back and forth on the swing. suddenly, you get an idea for a new topic.

"say, do you know how to swing on your own ?" you bounce over to the swing next to him. his eyes follow you and they widen thinking of your question. slowly, he shakes his head. you beam, a lightbulb rises above your head. " i know how !" you boast, slightly proud to see his eyebrows raise.

the dual haired boy blinks "i didn't know you could do that." he says it a little airily, like it was truly unbelievable to him. you feel your chest burn a bit, you grip onto the bars of the swings and kick your feet.

"then how come you're sitting on the swings alone ?"

he thinks, then shrugs as a response. you don't mind, taking this as your cue to act. you pull yourself backwards as far as you can looking to see if the boy with the cool eyes follows your movements. he does, so you continue until you’re far enough and lift your feet off the ground, jumping onto your seat. kicking your legs forwards and back to gain momentum, you giggle at the air wooshing past your skin.

"you do it like this, see ?" you speak a bit louder, since you're swinging higher and higher. you briefly see him nod and then he's copying your previous actions. he gets the hang of it in a few seconds but he's still a little lower than you, so you drag your legs against the floor, that way you're going at the same speed. "see, it's super easy !" he looks at you again, but you think you see the lightest of smiles on his face.

"yeah." he responds simply, but his voice is just a bit louder so he's sure you hear him. and it makes you smile harder. after a bit of swinging you ask him his name, "shouto" he says. you can't help but think it sounds cool, so you tell him so. he looks a little confused, but he nods in thanks anyway.

you drag your sneakers against the floor to stop and launch off of your seat. you land almost perfectly, stumbling a little towards the end, but you quickly recover. shouto, the boy with the cool different coloured eyes and hair looks intrigued as he slows down too, but prefers to stay seated. you hop over to his swing, gripping onto the bars right above his hands and grin at him. shouto looks surprised, you want to see him smile again like before, except wider.

"hey, shouto. who's your favourite hero ?"

Older Brother Touya Au !!, Touya Dyed His Hair Like Once, Scratching But Not Shigi Level Lol, Touya Has

before you, shouto's never had any friends. so he's never had to feel what it was like to be ignored by one.

you're the first person who'd ever asked him who his favourite hero was, and he'd told you his was all might. he still doesn't know why you laughed about it, everyone likes all might.

you talking to him your first day of school made him realise how different you both were. you were way more outgoing than he was on his first day, but even then he never bothered to talk to his classmates. he'd been okay with that, but shouto doesn't like the idea that most likely, if you hadn't talked to him, if you hadn't taught him how to swing by himself, he never would've talked to you. because he wants to talk to you all the time, even if you don't want to talk to him.

after break and your argument, you return to class. you're sitting next to him in class due to assigned seating. you'd been happy about it at first, because now you were desk buddies and he could help you with problems you didn't understand. but now it's like you're practically sitting in the next class over. you act like he doesn't exist, it feels like you've pushed your chair the furthest possible from him. shouto can tell you're having trouble with some problems the teacher gave you, and you're supposed to work with your desk buddies for these, but you keep tucking your arm over your notebook and glaring at him. it feels like when the sun is beaming in his eyes, he doesn't like it.

you don't wait for him anymore when the bell rings. you don't stomp your feet excitedly and grip his hand to walk out of the gates with him, you don't tell him you'll see him tomorrow. you just shove your pencil case and your notebook and you trudge off away from him even as is hangs out of your bag. shouto realizes it then, that he's being ignored. and when he does, he's finished packing his bag neatly, not like usual when he's rushing just a bit because you're waiting and he wants to hold your hand. he takes his time. and when he does he can't move for a while. it doesn't feel normal not being with you. he's only snapped out of it when his teacher asks him if there's a problem. he shakes his head, and walks out of class dragging his feet a bit.

natsu-nii came to pick him up today. shouto stays quiet when he asks him how school went. his older brother offers him his hand, but he doesn't take it, he only wants to hold yours. they walk home in silence while shouto grips his bag.

getting ignored sucks.

"knock, knock."

shouto looks up to see his older brother touya, standing in the doorway of his room. the boy visibly brightens up, focus on him homework now gone. he doesn't smile visibly, but it looks like his eyes smile in a weird way only shouto’s could. and just because it's him, touya thinks it's a little sweet.

"hi." the boy's voice is a bit quieter than it usually would be, it makes the worry in the older's chest grow. he tries not to look too suspicious, tired eyes gazing around the room. "mind if i come in ?" he asks, to which his younger brother responds with a shake of his head.

touya settles down in front of his younger brother, sitting cross legged and resting his face in his palm. shouto hadn't talked about what had upset him when he got back home from school. blazer still neatly tucked in, hair still the same as when he was sent off. touya finds it ironic that that was alarming. shouto had walked off to his room looking gloomy, not saying a word to anyone and not coming to eat dinner even after he was told it would be his favourite. even their father found it strange, opting to leave him alone for once.

touya guessed it probably had something to do with him getting pulled out of school though. he holds back a scoff, of course the old bastard told him.

"hey.." he leans in a bit closer to his brother and talks in a hushed voice, looking around the room to sell the act. shouto tilts his head in confusion, his eyes slowly widen when his brother pulls out tiny fruit candies from his pocket, the oldest smirks "look what i got."

still a bit weary, shouto whispers as well to answer "i'm not supposed to..father said that.." he trails off, pouting to himself.

"what that old fart doesn’t know won't hurt him right ?" he taunts, nudging the treats in his hands towards the little boy. shouto smiles at the nickname used for his father, and finally takes one of the candies, popping one in his mouth as his brother does the same.

"how was school ?" touya asks after a minute, shouto visibly slumps, drawing little shapes on his homework sheet. touya's eyebrows furrow. "no good ?" wordlessly, shouto shakes his head.

"i know i'm not going anymore." the white haired boy sighs, shoulders slouching as his hunch was proven correct. "i heard you and the nanny talk about it."

"oh shit, you did ?"

"swear." shouto dodges, touya can't hide the roll of his eyes. "yeah, sorry, sorry.. you heard me ?"

the boy nods, "did yn get sad when you told her ?" at that, he frowns, bangs in his face but touya clearly sees his little lower lip wobble.

"yn said she wanted to get married. and i said okay, but then i said i didn't wanna anymore..and she got mad at me."

"oh yeah ?" he nods again, the movements of his pencil against his work sheet stop. he speaks so sadly, in a way touya has never heard his brother speak besides when he'd come to him crying at night and when their mother was taken away.

"she said she hates me."

touya feels his heart break. shouto's always been his weird little brother ever since he was born. he was ten years old when shouto had popped out and honestly back then he was weird too. he was pudgy and loud, and he always had this weird little look on his face, fuyumi would tell him that he was just copying the look touya would give him. but that was stupid, he didn’t look that ugly.

but then his weirdo little brother started crawling over to him, started toddling his little feet in touya's direction constantly the moment he managed to drag himself up on his two feet. pudgy little hands reaching out for him even as he pushed him away. and then he'd fall straight on his face and instead of crying he'd just..try again. reaching for his older brother with his big weird two coloured eyes and drooley mouth. touya knew he'd get in trouble if his brother fell over again and he ended up with a mark on his big forehead.

so begrudgingly, he let his brother cling onto him. and he keeps doing it at eleven, and thirteen because he'd get in trouble for pushing his little brother around. but as he reached fifteen, sixteen and seventeen, he could admit that he kind of liked being the favourite. the one his youngest brother always ran up to quicker and quicker the better he learned to walk. he liked being the oldest that his youngest brother could rely on to let him cling to.

he likes being touya-nii, the coolest older brother in the world in the drawing shouto had given him once. it was crude, he doesn't look like that at all. and he definitely didn't tear up when he'd gotten it. but he still has it in his desk drawer.

"i'm sure she doesn't mean that, shou.." he tries, putting a hand on his brother's shoulder, "'m sure she was just mad. you know how people get when they're mad."

"but yn isn't like that. she doesn't get mad, she's always happy. and she wasn't, 'cus of me. 'cus i lied." shouto's voice breaking breaks touya into a million pieces. "c'mon," he coaxes, opening his arms up for his brother to jump in, which he does, like he always has.

shouto's never had friends, or bullies that touya's known of, besides that no name brat that yn had beat up for him from what he'd heard (he laughed very hard when shouto had told him the news, you were sick as shit). he's never had to deal with this before, it must hit him just that much harder to have to lose a friend. for something he didn't even do or have a choice in. it makes touya's blood boil. touya the coolest brother in the world wouldn't have let this, wouldn't have let his fathers bullshit happen to his youngest brother who doesn't know any better like he once did. until he did, and then it was too late.

he was ruined, but shouto isn't.

"do you still wanna be friends with yn ?" shouto stiffens, but nods into his brother's chest. he blinks away little tears when touya pulls at his shoulders so their eyes could meet.

"do you wanna tell her that ?" shouto's eyes widen. he nods hesitantly, but his eyes drift towards the floor. "but she's ignoring me, i don't like it." he mumbles. touya squeezes at his youngest brother's shoulders to get him to look at him again, putting on his best smirk.

"don't worry about it, yeah ? touya-nii'll do somethin' about it." he answers easily. shouto's eyes brighten, and he hugs the older boy tightly, who hugs him right back. touya likes being the oldest when it's this, not when he has to take the blame for stupid shit, not when he has to set the example for his younger siblings. but when his siblings rely on him, when they trust him to make everything right, and he's big bro touya who gets shit done.

Older Brother Touya Au !!, Touya Dyed His Hair Like Once, Scratching But Not Shigi Level Lol, Touya Has

shouto doesn't know what to do now that he's not going to school. it’s been two days now he doesn't know why he bothered with his work sheet since he knew he wasn't going back, just routine he guessed.

lunch break should've passed by now, class would be out soon. he wonders how you're doing today. maybe you're still sad, or maybe you've already made some new friends. his teachers were supposed to be let known a day ago that he wasn't coming back as his father told him so this morning, so you must know by now. he wonders if you're happy about it, and that just makes him sad, so he tries not to. he tries not to think about it but all he wants is to see you.

maybe you're worried about him, or maybe you're hanging out on the swings with someone else already. asking them their favourite ice cream flavour and they're not weird like him, so they'll actually be able to give you one and not answer "i don't have ice cream enough to know." like he did. you'll ask them their favourite colour, and they won't think about it as long as him, they won't shrug like he did. they'll smile back at you and be able to match you and they'd be the one to hold your hand, not him.

shouto doesn't hate much. in fact, he can't think of anything he hates more than this.

training is tiring, but it was a bit more bearable because you'd tell him you'd see him tomorrow and he couldn't wait. but now he won't be seeing you again. and you hate him.

he itches at his scar, his father told him not to and his nanny said it would irritate it more. but he can't help it. because if he doesn't he feels like he'll cry. but that's not working either because he feels like crying anyway and his breathing grows heavier. he wishes he could see you and say sorry for lying. he wishes his mom we're here and he could say sorry for scaring her. he wishes he could cuss at his dad the way touya does, he wishes he didn't scare him so much.

the sliding of his door pulls him out of his gloomy thoughts. touya runs a hand through his hair with a heavy sigh, sliding the door shut behind him. one time when he was sixteen, touya had dyed his hair completely black. his mom had made a big deal about it, his father was more than displeased, natsuo found it really funny and fuyumi scolded him, telling him people might mistake him for some type of delinquent. "or even worse, a criminal !" shouto didn't see what the problem was, he thought it looked really cool. but he'd changed it back to white soon after. "i just felt like it at the time." is what he says every time.

"hey, you okay ?" he breathes, kneeling in front of his younger brother shouto nods. his eyebrows furrow as he brings a hand up to his face “stop itching at that.” he chides, pulling shouto’s hand away from his face before he continues.

"hey, today's a school day, yeah ? and yn's at school ?" shouto tilts his head in confusion, but nods. touya smirks. grabbing onto his brother's arm and pulling him towards the door where he tells him to put on his shoes. shouto obeys, but when he’s told to hop on the back of touya's motorcycle, he finally asks where they're going. his older brother sends him a lopsided grin, and drops his too big helmet onto his head roughly, tightning it and clipping it shut.

"we're goin' to school." he answers easily.

apparently, you’re going to the beach in two weeks.

last night during dinner, that’s what your parents had announced since you get a little break from school. you’d been ecstatic about it at first, you love going to the beach. except when it’s too hot, because the sand burns under your feet. but most of the time it’s fun even if seagulls are a little scary, and maybe you’ll even get to pet someone’s dog.

but now, you’re sitting in class and you realize. shouto didn’t come to school today. again.

but you don’t care.

you thought he was just late yesterday, that usually happened when his oldest brother touya (the super cool one) had to drop him off, but then first period passed, then lunch and then school had ended and he still wasn’t here.

you don’t care, though. you really don’t. but you’re desk feels so empty without someone sitting next to you so it’s awkward. and usually, shouto helps you with math problems you don’t get, but he wasn’t there during math. and you had no one to sit with at lunch, or on the swings either.

and you don’t care, but you feel a little bad about telling him you hated him.

shouto lied to you. that means he’s a liar and you hate liars, that was true. but you don’t hate shouto. you don’t think you can. you’re convinced you hate tanaka for what he did to shouto despite your parents telling you that hate is a strong word and you shouldn’t casually say it. but you do.

shouto made you angry just like tanaka did, and you hate tanaka. but you still don’t hate shouto. because shouto’s your first ever real friend. and you want to say sorry for saying you hate him. it’s lonely without him holding your hand, on the swings, or sitting next to you.

there’s a pit in your stomach and you feel like crying, you wish you could go to the beach with shouto. you don’t know if he’d like to swim much. he seems more like he’d like to make sand castles.

you really want to know.

when he comes back, you’ll say sorry for sure.

later that day, your teacher pulls you aside to tell you shouto won’t be coming to school anymore.

Older Brother Touya Au !!, Touya Dyed His Hair Like Once, Scratching But Not Shigi Level Lol, Touya Has

"i'm taking shouto to school tomorrow."

eyes identical to his settled on touya. endeavor remains silent as he briefly glances at his son.

“i keep telling you to knock before barging in.” he says coldly, fixing his gaze back on his paperwork.

“and i keep telling you i don’t give a damn.” touya says just as coldly, “we’re going tomorrow, and you’re going to let us without making a fuss.” he bargains, gaze fixed on his father’s back. he sees his fist clench and holds back a smirk, it’s always fun seeing the old man get mad.

“who do you think you are giving me orders ?” the older man grits out, voice still even “you’re in no place to bargain with me, especially not after i got a call from your school about your behavior again. touya scoffs, he never lets the school shit go does he ? it’s not like he really cares, simply trying to hold something over to boy’s head.

“ ‘m saying this for you, pops.” touya shrugs “you might not realize it, but shouto really wants to go to school. kid even made a friend.” endeavor scoffs harshly at his sounds words.

“so what ? he can easily make more.”

touya’s eyebrows furrow. he grits his teeth “no he can’t. kid’s a major weirdo. this is his first ever friend.” he feels his fists clenching despite telling himself he’ll keep calm, “he managed to make a friend who’s just as weird as him, and he’s really depressed about it. i doubt he’ll want to do any training right now.”

“he will.” his father answers smoothly.

“nah, he won’t.” touya answers just as smoothly, or he tries to. he’s sure his father can pick up on the anger in his voice because he sighs.

“it’s already been done, i’ve already warned the school about it.”

“so just tell them you changed your mind. what’re they gonna do about it ? you’re the number two aren’t you ?” touya tries not to sound too smug about the slight taunt. a sore spot that his father hated to be reminded of was that he was always a close second. in a way, just like he is.

“look, you can do whatever you want. but..” he pauses, his father looks back at him slightly. he keeps his eyes locked on his “shouto likes going to school. pretty sure it’s the highlight of his day, which in itself is fucking weird. but he’s just like that. he’s always been like that.” he chuckles humorlessly. “but he’s met someone he can be as weird as he wants to be with for the first time ever, and i don’t think he’ll take it very well if you just take that from him. might even impact his training..” he trails off, finishing with a shrug “but that’s just my theory.”

endeavor keeps his gaze and touya thinks this plan might be a bust. looks like his father really was a stone cold asshole. but he sighs gruffly, touya looks surprised as he grips at his temples and huffs out “i’ll do something about it. close the door behind you.” shooing him away with his hand, no more words leave his mouth. touya doesn’t say anything else either as he leaves. he wonders if he should leave the door just a smidge open to piss his father off, but he decides not to risk it for now. another time.

but for now, touya-nii managed to do something, and he smirks to himself.

Older Brother Touya Au !!, Touya Dyed His Hair Like Once, Scratching But Not Shigi Level Lol, Touya Has

shouto doesn’t really know what he’ll say to you. he’s worried you still hate him, because he’d been told that hate was a strong word and you shouldn’t say it thoughtlessly. he’s sure he hates tanaka, because he’d punched you that one time you fought for him. but he worries that you feel for him the same way you do for tanaka.

he wonders if his words can come out as smoothly as the main leads in the movies when they try to make up with their love interest towards the end of the movie, if he can woo you and make you want to marry him again and say you don’t hate him. he doesn’t have time to think anymore because touya’s bike slows to a stop, not in front of a red light. because he sees the shape of his school, he gets a bad feeling in his stomach.

“you see her anywhere ?” touya grunts pulling him off his bike. shouto always thought it looked really cool, but it was really loud and it hurt his ears sometimes when touya would rev it on purpose to annoy fuyumi. shouto scans the area, classes should be done by now. shouto knows sometimes your bag takes a bit of time to close properly, so he thinks maybe you’re taking a little longer. he shakes his head. he feels touya ruffle his hair, probably to reassure him. or to fix it after being under a helmet for so long. he hopes his hair doesn’t look too messy in front of you.

more people start leaving, and the more he sees of his classmates the more he worries. he sees some students pointing towards him, and he knows it’s probably because of his older brother’s huge bike. but it feels like they’re talking about him, about how you hate him. he doesn’t like it. he feels his older brother’s hands still in his hair. and he feels a bit better because he’s here.

“oh, isn’t there her right there ?” shouto’s eyes widen. and he sees you walk a but further from him. you’re kicking at some rocks under your feet and there’s a pout on your lips. you’re not smiling and shouto finds it extremely hard to call out to you. his lips just won’t move. then you’re eyes are wide as your eyes land on him, because his older brother calls out for you instead. shouto freezes as you march over, he thinks maybe you’ll push him again. but you just stand in front of him, eyes still wide.

“i thought you weren’t coming anymore.” it’s weird to hear you speak to him, your voice yelling at him hasn’t left his mind. he grips his hands together as his gaze locks onto the floor. he hears touya say that there’s been some changes done, changes that he knows nothing about but he nods anyway.

shouto doesn’t have a big speech planned. he doesn’t even know if he can look at you right now, but he thinks as long as he just says what he thinks, he can hope you'll understand.

“are you still mad at me..?”

you stay quiet for a bit “a little bit..” you admit. you don’t sound angry, shouto clenches his fists. he dares peek at you.

“..do you still hate me ?” shouto bites his lip, awaiting your answer. he sees you toeing at your shoe.

“..no,” shouto looks up at you then, wide eyed. this time you’re the one who won’t meet his gaze. “i lied..i was angry..that makes me a liar too then.” shouto gets closer to you after a pause. you blink at him, his eyes look even prettier now that you’re seeing them up close again, one surrounded by red. he shakes his head furiously.

“you’re not a liar..i lied first..” he trails off. shouto doesn’t have a big speech ready. he can’t woo you like the cool guys in movies can. but he can tell you what he thinks, because you’ll understand.

“ do you still wanna get married ? i lied when i said i didn’t want to, ‘m sorry..” he looks up at you then, a determined flicker in his eyes that stuns you, his eyes shine like this.

“i’ll ask you this time, if you want to. you won't have to ask me everything all the time. i’ll ask you again when we’re grown ups until you say yes.” you’re stunned. you don’t think you ever heard him say so many words in a row. usually you ask him questions and he usually responds, shortly. but he does anyway. you were happy with that, you were happy to ask and with him listening. it made you happy because he listened to you.

but shouto wants to marry you, and he wants to be the one to ask you. you’d been so proud of yourself for not crying throughout the day, but you feel tears cloud your eyes. you smack your hands against your face to hide them. shouto jumps, asking you if you’re okay.

“‘m sorry, shou ! i called you a liar an-an’ i said i hated you, but i didn’t mean it” you mumble, voice wobbly “c-cus you’re my best friend !”

“you’re my best friend too..” slowly, you feel him wrap his arms around you. usually, you’re always the one hugging shouto first, especially at his left side because it’s warmer. he says he doesn’t like it but he let’s you hold him anyway and when it’s colder you’re always standing on his left before you can realize it. he’s warm like this and you missed him, so you squeeze him back with all your might. he stumbles a bit but doesn’t let you go.

“i don’t like when you’re sad.” he says simply, pulling a way so he could smooch your cheeks together in his palms. it makes you laugh hard and smile bright, like the sun but not when it’s in his eyes. when it’s beaming softly against his skin and it feels nice. he smiles back at you softly and shouto’s sure he wants to be with you forever. even if natsu-nii had joked that he was too young to know he’d get married to you when he’d told him, shouto knows he’s wrong for sure. and he reaches for your hand. it feels normal again, shouto's sure it'll always feel like this as long as he's with you. normal and fitting perfectly just like your hand in his.

you cling to him and bounce on the balls of your feet like your argument had never happened, touya sees you talking his brother’s ear off about what he’d missed at school, that his classmate had gotten in trouble for fighting and that you had a test due next week. all he can think about is how…easy that was. sure, you’re both still kids. but..really ? he shrugs it off, maybe it was just a weirdo thing.

you ask shouto if he wants to go to the beach with you, shouto hesitates and before he can say anything, touya speaks “sure he can.” he says simply. you squeal, swinging shouto’s arms around and telling him about all the fun the beach is, touya personally doesn’t like it much. too hot.

shouto blinks up at him, and the older boy sends him a wink. touya thinks he’s never seen his little brother smile so wide about anything before. he can admit it's pretty sweet, it makes him smile just slightly too.

as they ride home, shouto rambles about what you’d told him at every stop light, touya hums and offers him a few “oh yeah ?”s and “that so ?”s even though he was literally there the entire time and heard everything. but he’s pretty sure his little brother had completely tuned him out with his sole focus being you.

what a total weirdo, how can you just completely tune out someone standing right behind you ? so weird. but touya can’t help but smile to himself as he rambles about his day at the beach two weeks from now. his weirdo little brother could tune others out all he wants, but he’s sure he’ll never tune you out. cus you’re just as weird as each other and touya’s sure he’ll be just fine.

Shouto Cannot, For The Life Of Him, Stop Thinking About You Washing His Hair.

shouto cannot, for the life of him, stop thinking about you washing his hair.

it’s been almost an hour, 45 minutes have passed since you’d helped him wash his hair in the shower, you’d already showered before he got home, but you still wanted to help him, you’d insisted. he found it a bit strange, but he’ll never say no to spending extra time with you.

except now he can’t stop thinking about it—them. your hands all up in his hair that’s been getting longer, scrubbing and scratching at his soapy scalp. globs of soap falling against his shoulders and your pants getting wet as you sat on the corner of the bathtub. he wished you’d just get in with him, but he worried you’d feel uncomfortable if he asked, so he’ll leave it for another time.

and besides, he doubted he could get any words out with how good it all felt. he’s never had anybody wash his hair like this, taking their time and softly humming a song stuck in your head, so gentle and with such gentle smelling soap. soft and melty and malleable just like his brain felt with your hands in his hair.

46 minutes have passed now, but he wants to take a shower again.

his hands are warm, a nice aftermath of the bath he’d just taken, his cheeks are too as they squeeze into your neck. when he’s relaxed like this, shouto forgets how heavy he is, like when big dogs forget they don’t fit into people’s laps anymore. his pro hero mass presses against you and you have to hold yourself up against the counter. a fond smile makes its way onto your face as your arm makes a way into his now fluffy hair, also a nice aftermath of his bath.

“hello,” you giggle. shouto huffs against your skin, nuzzling into it like a cat. he offers you a hum and you both stay there quietly for a few more minutes.

“i want to do it again.” he mumbles against you. you raise a brow.

“do what again ?”

his hair tickles your nape, it’s been getting longer again. he presses a kiss to your skin, then another one “ i want you to wash my hair again,” another kiss on your shoulder and his arms tighten around you as you stop scratching at his hair. “please ?”

“sho, it’s been less than an hour,” you snort, checking the kitchen clock to make sure, shouto lets out a noise similar to a little whine into the crook of your neck.

“..please ?” he tries again, you laugh. shaking your head at how endearingly spoiled your boyfriend was.

“how ‘bout this..” you start, “i help you wash your hair tomorrow, how’s that sound ?”

shouto sits unmoving for a few seconds, then he nods. his nose runs against your neck as he lifts his head up to look at you. “will you come in with me ?”

you splutter. head whizzing to look at him slowly blinking at you. his hair hangs and falls in front of his eyes as he stares expectantly. you clear your throat before responding with a somewhat stable sounding "sure, okay." stable sounding enough despite the slight tremble in your throat and fingertips. shouto smiles up at you softly nuzzling into you again.

"i'm looking forward to it." he sighs.

For The Night (my forever)

T. Shoto x Reader B. Katsuki x Reader

Warnings: Cheating -Maybe it was the hazy room, or maybe it was the fact that he was at home waiting for her to come crawling back to him. Anything could have caused her to make this decision, this lapse of judgment- but he, who had loved her since freshman year, has never been happier.

For The Night (my Forever)

The room was filled with a haze of light and bodies moving together. The music bounced off the walls, but, to her, it all seemed muffled. Some would say she had too much to drink, but Y/n wasn’t pessimistic like that- she liked to think that she was just giving the bartender more opportunities for money.

Drink after drink and dance after dance, she grew more and more numb to the pain, and eventually, she forgot why she was there in the first place. She shook her head as if that erased the thought from her head, and hundreds of strangers welcomed Y/n back onto the dancefloor.

Their touch felt so foreign, it felt almost wrong, but that’s what she’s trying to fix- the whole point of her going out was to feel good by herself. She wanted people to see her, she wanted them to notice her- but then why did the hands that were on her waist feel more like sludge than fun?

They were rough with her, keeping her tightly in place while they danced. The man that had chosen her as his temporary dance partner was obviously used to taking the lead. That must be why it’s so different.

---

“Y/n? Babe?” Her blond boyfriend awkwardly stood next to the food table at the school dance. He didn’t dance, and he was obviously out of his comfort zone- but he did it for her.

“You look so cute, Katsu,” She teased him lightly, and a smile spread wide on her face.

“Sh-shut up!” He blushed lightly and looked away with a glare.

“Sorry Katsuki, here,” she reached her hand out to him, “dance with me.”

“I don’t dance,”

“You do tonight,”

Y/n grabbed a hold of his hand and led him slightly away from the ongoing party. She brought him outside the cafeteria doors, and she wrapped her hands around his neck. After about five seconds of him doing nothing, she huffed and put his hands on her waist.

He complied, but she had to be the one to start swaying back and forth. She hummed softly to the faint music, and her head rested on his shoulder. That was one of the highlights in their relationship, and little did she know someone was watching- completely heartbroken and falling apart.

---

“Y/n?” A deep voice had reached her ears, and her y/e/c eyes slammed open at her name with a new sense of fear taking over.

She looked around quickly before seeing Todoroki standing a little away from her. She walked away from the people surrounding her, and she smiled up at her hot-n-cold friend.

A smile had made its way to Todoroki’s face when he saw her visibly relax when she saw it was him calling out to her. Why does she make my heart feel so warm?

“What’re you doing here?” It was hard to imagine Y/n here, in this dirty and over-filled club known for the drugs that coursed through its veins.

“Well honestly,” She twiddled her thumbs and looked down, “I didn’t think anyone I cared about would find me here, and there are some people I’m trying to stay away from.”

Todoroki nodded and looked her up and down. Y/n’s once smooth eyeliner had smudged and her tight dress was slightly twisted at the waist. Her ponytail had gained bumps and her ankles were rubbed raw from the strap of her heels. She looked tired, but more importantly, she looked uncomfortable.

Her elbows had small scratches from her nails- a nervous habit she had even in their UA days. Her shoulders shifted as she moved her weight from side to side, and her eyes locked with his, as she tried to focus only on her friend that stood in front of her.

“Do you want me to take you home?”

She bit her lip, and the soft red lipstick was transferred to her teeth as concern washed over her. “He’s waiting for me, I can feel it,”

“Then...” Shoto looked at his feet before bashfully looking up, “How about you come home with me?”

---

The rain hit the top of his car, as they drove to Todoroki’s apartment. Music was playing, but to y/n it seemed as if it was muffled two rooms away from where she was, even though the radio was in front of her.

She felt electricity run up her arms as she looked over at the boy who had decided to take in the stray. Had he always been so cute?

Y/n blushed and looked away, though her hand had fallen on the console between their seats with her palm up. A small gasp escaped her lips once Todoroki linked their hands together.

A feeling was shared between those two heroes that night. As one looked at the other and quickly looked away, and as their touches were fleeting but longing, they had a shared thought.

Tonight, just for one night of their lives, they would fall in love. An entire love-story in three hours, just so they could know what could have been, what they had chosen another course over.

“Y/n?” Todoroki led her into his living room, his hair hung loosely by his eyes as he looked up at her.

“Mmhmm?”

“If tomorrow,” he grabbed one of her hands, “you leave my arms to go back to him, if I never get to see you again and live knowing you’re getting these things from someone else, then I need you to be mine for the night,” he was illuminated by the fire he had burning behind him, making him appear devilishly handsome and all too alluring.

“For the night,” Y/n looked at his eyes, down to his lips, and back up again.

“Just for the night,” he stepped closer and grabbed her by the waist, “all mine.”

Y/n wrapped her legs around his waist, melting into his kiss and returning his fiery passion. It wasn’t the kind of kiss you see in movies, it was the bruised-lips wanted-for-years kinda kiss that hurt your teeth, but the ache felt so good.

And for the night, Todoroki had what he always wanted. But morning came, and Y/n went.

Little Looks

Fandom: Bnha / Mha

Pairings: Todoroki x Reader, Bakugo x Reader  Warnings: Takes place in season 4, references Child abuse, nods to scarring from parental figures, and breakups Words: 7,106 Requested by: No one, but feel free to request!!  Request/Summary: Everyone has things to deal with, just as everyone has different ways to cope. Some push away those they love, others cry themselves to sleep. There are also the few who throw themselves into helping others. No matter how you cope with the struggles you face, a helping hand rarely hurts.

Little Looks

The walls between the dorms were a little too thin. Everything could be heard across the shallow space that separated the students, it was hard to hide anything. Whether it be their taste in music, friends, or tv shows, your dorm-neighbor knew everything about them.

In Y/n’s case, her unfortunate neighbor had to hear her talking to Shoto late into the night. Ever time he walked her to her room, every time he spent the night- they heard every goodbye and I love you, but now...

Bakugo didn’t like to bother himself with class drama. He never cared about who was dating who or people’s preferences- it held no effect on him so why would he? That was... until he met her.

Y/n was this spunky girl who always had an opinion but never bothered to share it. She always had something to say, but the words never passed her lips. He always wondered what she was thinking about, why she wouldn’t say it. But then he found out.

Y/n held onto all her words, every opinion she had everything she would have said. She kept them to herself- until she could spill every word in her heart to Half-n-Half.

It hurt, but he got it. That bastard was her boyfriend- it only made sense that she would tell him more than anyone else. Doesn’t mean it hurts less. It fucking sucked.

Lying in bed- long after he usually fell asleep, Katsuki had to hear her squeal into the phone, hear her laugh and joke, he had to hear her fall in love. With every passing second, it hurt more and more, and the pillow he clutched onto over his head did nothing to muffle her voice. Bakugo was curled into a ball, tears streaming down his face while he cried- silent sobs shaking his body and making him feel like there was a hole in his chest. Maybe there was.

She was perfect, the only person he could stand in this god-awful world. It was hard to pinpoint when he first fell in love with her, with the loud girl who said nothing.

Perhaps it was the entrance exams- despite being in his arena she came out on top. Sacrificing moments for others yet still getting a few good points herself. Besides, seeing a cute girl take down a huge robot for no reason other than she wanted to (the person she was saving didn’t matter) was really hot.

But maybe it was the first day when she came second in the class ranking for the stupid tests Aizawa Sensai made them do. Competing against her made him feel challenged- but it was in a different way than he felt with Deku or Half-N-Half- it was a good way.

It also could have been during the break-in at the natural disaster center. Watching her fight her way back to the entrance and seeing her run in front of others to defend her classmates definitely made him respect Y/n more than he had before- more than he respected everyone else.

He couldn’t forget about the Sports Festival. Seeing her fight her way to the top, Y/n was always kind until it was time she wasn’t. The intensity she fought with proved that she was there for a purpose. Sure she was a little messy, but she got herself first place. Watching her fight against Todoroki was amazing, she used everything she had, and there were so many new tricks that no one had seen before, it was amazing.

Bakugo had to have fallen in love with her by the time internships rolled around. She had convinced Aizawa-Sensai to take her on for an internship (something that hasn’t happened for years), and he watched her change into a different person, seeing her mature and think through every possibility was breath-taking, and he loved her, even more, every time she predicted someone’s next move.

And even if he didn’t love her by then, he adored her by the time camp rolled around. She owned the forest with how she used her quirk and the way she pushed herself further than anyone else was amazing. He also enjoyed seeing that there was someone there other than him who could function in a kitchen. Seeing her cook for her classmates proved how much she cared for everyone, even though she wasn’t particularly close with most of them.

Seeing the look of pain on her face when he was taken from the camp hurt him more than anything the villains did to him. They had never actually talked much at that point, but he knew she cared for him by the pain in her eyes. She was all he thought about when he was being held, and when she reached out to him during the rescue it felt like everything was right with the world.

And now he had to watch her seem to fall into a depression. While he was making up for failing the license exam she was doing her work study, and she was doing it all with stupid Deku.

The first day they sat at lunch, she sat in her usual seat with Yaoyarozu. After that, she and Deku ended up sitting next to each other- both with painful looks in their eyes. Bakugo couldn’t look at her, she had so much sorrow in those y/e/c eyes of hers, he was thrown back to when he was kidnapped- and he couldn’t handle that again.

Ever since she joined Deku and the weirdo from the big-three, she was crying. Every night, right after silence had taken over the building, he would hear these soft, gasping cries from her room. It hurt to hear them, it always sounded so painful.

Y/n had always been used to crying herself to sleep, self-soothing was a given ability when a person has a quirk people feared. She was used to the pain, the abuse, she could take it.

She could handle the lying in bed for hours awake, silently crying herself to sleep. She was used to the teary eyes and the burning in her throat from wanting to scream but knowing that making a sound wasn’t an option. She knew what it was like to not be able to breathe, to have to hold on to her stomach from the wrenching pain and keep a hand on the top of her head from the migraine that would form.

In time though, she had gotten sloppy. Having a laughing, caring personality ruined her stone-wall approach to problems like these, and she was louder than she was at home- Y/n blamed this on the dorms. It made her soft.

Of course she was crying about Eri, if she had just gone with her instinct- every fiber in her being was telling her to get the girl as far away from Overhaul as possible. She should have done what she believed in- Mirio had stopped her. Y/n understood where he was coming from, but he should have followed her on this. Midoriya was being over-emotional if he hadn’t been so abrasive with the pair then maybe...

No! She couldn’t blame anyone else, this was her fault. The girl was in her arms, she was holding onto her, and Y/n let her go. She ran back to him; because he was going to get violent. She saw it in his eyes, and she was willing to take the blow so that Y/n and her friends wouldn’t get hurt. What a brave little girl.

And sure, the whole Todoroki situation wasn’t making her feel any better. He had pulled Y/n aside earlier that day. She assumed he would talk to her about her sudden mood change, but that wasn’t what happened. He told her that he didn’t want to break up, but he needed a break to focus on catching up with everyone else.

Since then, he hasn't said a word to her. He avoided his girlfriend at all costs, and it really hurt. He told her that they weren’t over, was that because he still wanted to be with her but was overwhelmed, or because he wanted to be done with her but wanted to keep her there if he ever felt like coming back? Was he busy, or did he just not love her anymore?

Her quirk did her no favors, Override was constantly giving her anxiety, and the effect it had on others only hurt more. Sure she could have read his thoughts, but was Y/n ready to hear that answer? Was this her destiny? To fuck everything up and cry herself to sleep?

The gasps were sharper now, they cut through her chest like a dagger and echoed in her room. She wanted sleep, Y/n had been fighting off insomnia for the majority of her life, but it always worsened with stress.

At times like these, she would usually turn to Shinso, a fellow student who ended up in the General Studies course despite having a similar quirk to her. He approached her after the festival to ask about her quirk, and once they saw how similar they were, they learned to latch on to each other.

It was rare to connect with someone with a similar quirk outside of one’s own family, but Shinso and Y/n was a blessing in disguise. They connected with each other over people's fear of them, telling them they would be better as villains. Trust came hard for them, people always assumed they would manipulate their way to the top.

Both having the ability to dictate other's actions was a unique coincidence, and surprisingly Shinso wasn’t overly-jealous of Y/n’s other abilities. Having someone able to read his mind was a nice way to keep him in check, plus they could communicate without others over-hearing what he was saying.

Sure knowing that she also had the power to use a shimmery, translucent, deep red, aura-like stream of fog to manipulate and move objects was a little bothersome, but that just meant he didn’t have to get up and grab his own tray at lunch.

Sadly, Y/n remembered that Shinso had been pulling all-nighters to train on his own, so it was a safe assumption that he would be asleep by now- exhausted by his training. Shoto was also out of the question, he wanted nothing to do with her.

Her other friends wouldn’t be able to talk with her about what was going on, they were sworn to secrecy, and she wasn’t close to anyone else that was doing hero-work with her. Deku was nice and all, but he was too high-strung. He also wouldn’t understand why it was bothering her so much. No one would understand, except for Shoto.

The small gasps still echoed throughout the room, and she rotated her pillow every few minutes to get away from the water. It was so cold, it was so quiet. All alone, she had no one- no one was there, no one cared about here, they would be fine without her- she was always gonna be alone-

Short shallow knocks rasped at her door, snapping Y/n out of the hyperventilating breaths she had fallen into.

“You okay in there?” A gruff voice asked, stained with sleep and lack of usage.

“Y-yeah, I’m fine,” she called out, not entirely sure of who she was talking to.

“Okay,” the voice said. It was awkward waiting for a response, but neither wanted to talk before the other.

“Goodnight,” he whispered, almost unsure of whether Y/n would hear him or not, and he almost hoped she didn’t, but the shallow ‘night’ that echoed back to him proved she had better ears than he thought she did.

-------

That morning she woke up to a cheery song being played through her wall. Normally waking up to someone blaring music would have pissed her off, but Kelly Clarkson's What Doesn’t Kill You was echoing through her floor, and it almost felt like it was being played for her- as ridiculous as it sounded.

It was a stupid song, but she would invite Momo over for a hag-out / sleep-over after a stressful lesson or exam, and they would scream the words to the classic song.

After getting into her school uniform, Y/n slowly made her way to breakfast. The smell of pancakes made their way into the halls, but she stopped by the room next to hers. She had never been in there, but seeing it in the light reminded her of who resigned in it.

Bakugo Katsuki. The fiery blond that seemed to have a problem with everyone. The sparky guy who was always willing to fight for the smallest of reasons. The stranger that talked to her last night.

It was hard to imagine it. He had always been so aggressive, so hostile, the small voice that checked in on her last night just didn’t fit him, but still it made so much sense in a way that she couldn’t explain.

---------

The rest of the day was weird to say the least. Y/n and the other work study students were put on standby while they waited for news on the operation, but that was only one of the things that were out of place.

Ever now and then, Y/n would sneak a look at Bakugo. Had he even known it was her? Did is matter to him? Why had he reached out to her? Was there a reason? It was a difficult situation, but she’s faced worse scenarios before.

For now, Y/n relished in the moments where she would catch him looking at her. The blush that would light up his face before he turned away from her, the way he would abruptly stop talking if they made eye contact, it made little butterflies scatter in her stomach, the kind of feeling where staying still isn’t an option, and the heat in her chest isn’t stemming from pain. The kind of feeling where what ifs and maybes flash in her vision.

She could see it, if they were together. She could see coffee dates, she could practically feel his hand holding hers. The walks after curfew, the shushing each other when they stay up late laughing. Maybe they could cuddle and watch movies, go on dates to paint the town red. He could be her prince, as long as he never hid her away in a tower.

Though Bakugo was never one to spend time on damsels in distress, at least not for a partner. He would want someone to ride along side him, someone to keep up and help him if he needed it. He wouldn’t want a fragile flower, and he would never treat her like she was. He wan’t an equal, not a follower.

---------

Bakugo couldn’t think straight all day. She was everywhere he looked, always smiling, always doing something. She wouldn’t get out of his head, maybe that’s why he kept looking over at her. She was just so sad, it only makes sense that, as her classmate, he would worry about her. What if she brought down the class average? That wouldn’t be good.

And yes, he was playing a cheesy girl empowerment song, and no he wasn’t embarrassed. I mean sure, he was, but the smile on her face that morning definitely helped ease the pain.

He hadn’t told anyone about his feelings, why would he? And even if there was a reason, who would he tell? Sero’s a dumb ass, Mina would gossip to the entire school, Denki would do something stupid, and Kirishima would never shut up about it. It made sense to just, keep it to himself. For now.

------------

That night, laughter was heard from Y/n’s room for the first time in a while. And who could blame her? Even with all the pain she was facing right now, it was easy to laugh at Bakugo’s dumb jokes. The dad puns were so out of character for him, it was just the thing she needed. The best feeling though, was when they laughed together.

His voice was slightly higher when he laughed. He was one of the people who laughed inwards- choking on the air he was trying to breath. It was a contagious kind of laugh that made those around him happier. It was so rare and beautiful, and it was so perfectly him.

----

The jokes late at night morphed into a good morning and goodnight whispered through the drywall, which eventually became conversations while they got ready for bed or to face the school day.

After that, they would stop by each others room. It started with Y/n needed a towel (her’s were slowly stolen by the girls of 1-A), and Bakugo always had a few spare.

This morphed into waiting for each other to walk together, which then became study sessions. After that, late night studying became hangouts. Whether it be a ridiculously sized puzzle or a horror movie, a cheesy chick-flick or slapstick comedy, they had movie nights more than they didn’t.

And then, it was more likely for them to be in the others room instead of their own. He would sit next to her, wrapped in a giant blanket watching hundreds of horror movies- but it was always followed by something stupid (fifty first dates became a staple). Maybe the jokes weren’t very funny, but it was enough to make Y/n laugh, so it was enought to make Bakugo laugh in return. And as she his behind her hair, she could see a little look her sent her way, his eyes twinkled and it almost felt like this was it- he was her soulmate.

And one night, after studying for an upcoming test, Bakugo fell asleep on her bed. It wasn’t out of the ordinary, but he usually would wake up from his naps hours ago- but Y/n guessed he would just spend the night.

But then, her phone rang. She darted out of her room to met with the other work-study students. They would leave to get Eri in the morning, but for now they needed sleep.

---------

The mission was a success. Eri was saved, but nothings all sunshine and rainbows. There were many injuries. Luckily, Deku remained mostly healthy. That couldn’t be said for everyone thought. Mirio’s quirk was gone, and that was a harsh blow for him to take. The loss of Sir Nighteye devastated him and Y/n, who had grown close to the jokester during her short time with him.

However, that wasn’t the only thing weighting on Y/n. In the heat of the battle, one Mirio was taken out, Y/n was the only one able to protect Eri for around twenty minutes. All of the work was placed onto her.

Override was an extraordinarily powerful quirk, and it has taken her years to gain control over it. It was often bigger than herself, responding to her emotions more often than her orders. The fight was fresh in her mind, the fear running through her, the adrenaline that kept her going. The pain in her body was everywhere, but it wasn’t about her. It was about the little girl who had felt too much and seen to little.

She couldn’t give up, Eri had to be saved. Manipulating the large debris scattered around the room was the easy part. Throwing them at Overhaul and protecting Eri was second nature. It was too easy to put distance between them. It was Mirio that challenged her strength.

The anguish he was is seeped into her mind, Y/n’’s aura was easily tainted by the stress of others. Eri was small and had a heart of gold, Y/n knew she had full trust in the female would-be hero. It was Mirio that had his doubts.

His fear attacked her, and his pain tangled her mind into knots with no walls to protect it. He made it hard to focus, and the pain was unbelievable- but she pushed through. Constantly rebuilding the barrier around Eri, moving Overhaul back further and further, until he was pinned.

It was then Y/n changed her focus. The strain Mirio put on her made the manipulation of the objects too difficult to maintain, so instead she focused on pinning Overhaul. She had to focus, one wrong move and he would be dead- Y/n couldn’t handle another persons blood on her hands.

The red aura that was an extension of herself enveloped his body. Working its way through his ears, in his mouth and noes, it slowly made its way to his brain. She wrapped around it, slowly encasing it wit her aura, until he had gone limp and completely immobile.

She saw every thought in his head, the memories, his hopes, dreams, his greatest accomplishments and worse fears. She saw his neglection, how he was tossed aside. She witnessed his plan, how he was ignored by his father, and the awful things he did behind closed doors. What he said to the league, and the pain he was in right now.

The pain was triggering memories to come rushing up. UA was a great school, but Shoto was everywhere- scattered in her brain. He left, alone. He doesn’t love her anymore, he never did. The classroom was just a place where he fooled her tricked her. He abandoned her. He was like Overhaul’s mentor. The betrayal, the hurt.  She felt it from him, it seeped into her mind, twisting her reality. What he felt what he thought, they became a part of her. They mixed with her own emotions, her memories warped around his pain.

Y/n was well aware of how this hurt him, and it hurt her when she did it. All the pain he was in was shared to her, straining and causing tears to form in her eyes. She could take it- the pain was nothing. Eri was all that mattered, she could hold on until help arrived. He couldn’t escape, she couldn’t let him. If she was going to be trash for the rest of her life,  if what they told her was right. If she was a villain, if she could never accomplish anything, if she would be no better than they said she was, at least she could do this.

No one had come to save her, she had to save herself. There was not a chance in hell Y/n would let this poor little girl face the same pain she did, all the trauma and the hurt, it ruined her. It broke her, and Eri deserves more than what Y/n had. She can be free, she can be saved by someone other than herself.

Though Y/n and Overhaul were trapped in time, the outside world was still moving. Mirio was losing consciousness, and Eri was confused. All the noises had stopped, nothing was happening. Was it over?

She crawled out of the rock pillar that had formed around her, and what she saw was terrifying. Ruble was everywhere, no where was like how it used to be. And there she was, the girl with the same look in her eyes, the one with the same marks on her body, the bigger version of herself.

Why was there so much red in her air? Why wasn’t she moving? Where was everyone?

------------------

Most of the students had been cleared to go back to school. Eri was placed into isolation, and Mirio had a few more days left. Y/n was supposed to stay for a few more weeks. The duration that she used Override for was more than her mind could take, and her arms had several fractures from debris flying off when she was fighting. Her mind was put under such enormous amount of strain, it had put up amnesia walls to cope.

This has blocked many of the details of the passed few days linked to the significant trauma. While the school was aware of this as a possible drawback from her quirk, they had not made the preparations needed if this ever happened. As a result, she was not cleared to go until they had safely learned what she had blocked from her memory.

News of this had spread faster than the teachers predicted, by the following day the entire school knew of Y/n’s condition. She herself was unaware of the barriers- the entire reason the amnesia walls exist is to prevent her from knowing. Because of this, Y/n only knew that she had injuries and was taken to the hospital.

Aizawa had stayed stayed at the hospital, looking in through her window from time to time to check in on her. He had been the one who knew the most about the girl. He had gone to her home with Allmight when they were getting parents permission for the students to move into the new campus.

---

“Who’s next?” Aizawa asked, cramped next to the man who’s simply too big for this worlds current accommodations.

“Y/l/n Y/n, do you think her parents will be hard to convince?” Allmight asked, looking up from the girls file.

“Not a clue. She’s a sweet girl, but she has her moments where she shuts down. I suppose if her parents are a reflection of her personality, they would understand where we are coming from, but they might take a little convincing. Y/n’s a stubborn girl, I can only assume she gets that from her parents,”

“So who’s gonna take the lead?” All might said, awaiting a response from the sudden silence in the air.

The hero pair hadn’t notice when the driver took a turn down a rode leading to the darker side of town. The hero’s patrolled these streets more often than not- it was hard to assume any of there students, let alone one as bright as Y/n, was a part of this neighborhood. It’s rude to make assumptions, but the stereotypes surrounded these streets more than anywhere else.

They pulled up to an apartment building. She lived on one of the highest floors, apartment 7D. The entrance to the building had no security nor doorman waiting for guests. No one greeted them, the base floor was abandoned.

Ignoring the minor inconvenience of the broken elevator, the pair made there way up six flights of stairs with no complaints, only wondering how long the elevator had been broken for.

The lights in the halls flickered, and loud music carried through the thick doors. People were yelling in adjacent rooms, and a dog was barking somewhere. Then they approached the last, and only silent, door.

Aizawa knocked loudly, hoping Y/n’s parents could hear it over the noise of their neighbors. To their limited surprise, Y/n’s voice called out to them.

“Who’s there?” Her cheerful voice was so out of place in this floor of people. She looked through the peep-hole, and was taken aback to see her teachers outside her door.

She unlocked the four locks she installed on her door, and greeted them. “Hello Sensai’s! I wasn’t expecting a visit,” she told them, opening her door.

“Hello, young Y/l/n, are your parents home?” Allmight asked, smiling at the girl.

“Uhh, why don’t you both come inside? My neighbors can be noisy if they don’t know I have company over. I would have talked to them if you gave me a heads up,” she explained, opening her door all the way.

The two cautiously entered her home, they made an effort not to be rude. Her apartment was small, if it could even be called that. She had a living room to the right of the door, and a small open kitchen to the left. A short hallway branched out in between, most likely holding a bedroom and bathroom. It was a petite apartment, one that they couldn’t believe could house multiple people.

“Don’t mind the bags on the counter, I just got home from grocery shopping. I was making myself a cup of tea, could I offer either of you something? I have tea, water, juice, I still have a hot pot of coffee if you would like,” she said, making her way to the kitchen to take the kettle of the eye.

“Some tea would be nice, if you wouldn’t mind,” Aizawa said, carefully eyeing the apartment before fallowing All might's lead and sitting on the couch.

“Of course, Allmight?”

“I wouldn’t mind some tea, thank you,” he said, his voice slowly getting lower.

The same thoughts were running through both of their heads. Everything was falling together. The walls had no family photos, just some of her with children they didn’t recognize, and a few with some of her classmates. A couple school awards were up on the walls, and the house had a few scattered decorations, such as small plants and white rugs, along with cream colored half-knitted blanket on a one-seater facing across the couch. This was the home of someone who preferred activities and socialization. There was no tv in sight.

“Here you go, careful- they’re still hot,” Y/n said, giving them both their cups of tea. All of the mugs had either quotes from tv shows or beautiful designs, they all fit so perfectly with Y/n’s personality.

“So, Y/n,” Aizawa said, trying to figure out a way to phrase his words.

“I guess I should explain, huh?” She sighed and took a seat across from them, placing her mug on the coffee table and grabbing her knitting supplies. “I was emancipated a few weeks after my fourteenth birthday. Because I’m technically a minor, the government sealed away that information from all my school records, they worried about people having easy access to my information. I’ve lived in this apartment for around two years now. I have full legal control over my education and health, as well as my housing,”

“Well, we’re here to gather permission to move all of the students into dorms at the school. I’m not sure of your financial situation, but-”

“The government pays for my housing as long as it stays beneath 9,500 yen,”

“Then all we need is your signature to confirm that you have no objections to moving into the dorms, understanding that this is for your protection, and it will become our legal duty to keep you and the other students safe,”

---------

Now, only three members of the school faculty knew of Y/n’s full situation, Allmight, himself, and principal Nezu. It was a tricky situation to be in. Y/n had full legal control over her medical care, but she was unaware of the situation. Typically, a person has an emergency contact that they are willing to give control to if they are ever deemed unable to make a fully informed decision for themselves.

However, this person was not allowed to be a minor- and they haven’t found Y/n’s legal documentation of who this was. Because of all that, the doctors haven’t been able to preform any more tests or procedures on her. It was a risk, but Aizawa figured it was necessary.

“Y/n?” He called, after knocking on her hospital door.

“Eraserhead! I wasn’t expecting a visit, come in,” she said, smiling while she sat up. Her arm was in a sling, and her head was wrapped with gauze.

“Y/n, I want to ask you a few questions if you don’t mind,” he said, sitting in the chair next to her. He had been with her or near her for the entire day leading up to the raid, so he knows the majority of what she did that day.

“Of course, go ahead!” She smiled, glad to finally have company. They had kept her in isolation to prevent ant triggers- but they didn’t tell her that people were forbidden from visiting.

“I wanted to start by asking you a simple one. What is the last thing you remember happening?”

It took Y/n a few minutes to find an answer, but she settled on, “I remember Bakugo?”

Aizawa drew his eyebrows and took a deep breath in, “What do you mean exactly?”

“I don’t.. I don’t really know? The last thing I did before waking up here was with Bakugo,” the redness of her face and the fighting of her fingers were clear signs that she was becoming uncomfortable with the conversation- Aizawa knew that. But he couldn’t stop know, he had to know. This couldn’t be for nothing, he had to get something from this conversation.

“Do you know what you two were doing? Where were you two?”

“We,” her breathing became shallow and broken, “Can we do this later?”

“I know this is hard, but I really need to know what you can remember before you were in the hospital,” he pushed harder, sitting up in his chair.

“I said I don’t remember,” Y/n said, pushing back in her bed and sitting up against the headrest.

“You don’t remember anything? You remember me,” Aizawa said, egging her to say more.

“Or course, you’re my,”

A heavy silence filled the room. One filled with uncertainty and fear. It was a word on the top of her tongue, something so close yet in a wall of haze.

“Y/n?” He asked, slowly grabbing a hold of the girls hand once a look of terror came over her face.

“You’re my...”

“You can do it Y/n,” he said, pushing her further, “Just think.”

“You... are my mentor. The internships, yeah! That’s how I know you,” She said, relaxing and sighing heavily.

“Y/n, where do you go to school?”

“I uhh.... I’m sorry. It’s right there,” she said, deeply exhaling.

“That’s okay. You should get some sleep, I’ll come back later,” with a deep sigh he left the room. He didn’t dare look back at the girl sitting in the hospital bed. If he did, he would have saw it. The look of pain, of confusion that she had. It would be too much for him, it would break him.

“Where the hell is she?” A booming voice echoed through the hospital, alerting most of the staff and all of the waiting visitors.

“Sir, sir you need to calm down. She is in an isolation period right now-”

“You think I give a fuck about isolation periods? You’ll tell me where she is, or i’ll go door to door looking for her myself!”

Aizawa didn’t have to walk far before he saw his student causing trouble for the poor nurse across the desk. It was embarrassing to everyone but the blonde pain in the neck.

“Bakugo, lower your voice,” he said, his voice not hiding the lack of sleep he’s gotten since the operation.

“Mr. Aizawa, do you know where Y/n is?” He said, his eyes still holding a hard edge to them.

“Bakugo,” he guided him to a sitting area where they could talk, “Y/l/n is currently suffering from one of the drawbacks from her quirk, it causes-”

“Amnesia walls, I know. She told me all about them, which is why I need to see her,” he said, forgetting who he was talking to exactly.

“Because of these walls,” he rolled his eyes, “the staff can’t be sure exactly what she remembers and what her mind blocked from her. We can’t risk negatively triggering her. We are all trying desperately to find a way to safely give her her memories back, but until then we only want to expose her to things she knows,” he did his best to explain the situation to his troublesome student, but he knew he would most likely fail.

---------

Bakugo sat next to Y/n on her hospital bed, watching her read from a red leather-bound book. He was weary to let him do what he was, but it was legally the best thing to do.

Bakugo had explained that Y/n confided many things to him- one of which was her intense fear of forgetting things after using her quirk. So much so, that she wrote everything that happened to her in a book as soon as she could get back to her dorm. While it wouldn’t have the most recent memories- including those of the actual mission- it would get her brain used to exposing itself to memories it blocked out.

Watching the situation from outside was peculiar. Reading her expressions had never been easier- her usually guarded expression became an open book. From her drawn together eyebrows and slight tears, to the squirming blush and her refusal to make eye-contact with the boy across from her, all of it made the situation seem so much more childish that it really was.

Inside the room was weirder. The atmosphere differed paragraph to paragraph. From her blurting out the inside jokes they had made to mentioning the depressing conversations they had at two am made them laugh and cry. Once and a while she wouldn’t say anything- she was the only one out of the three to know why, but her secrets should stay with her.

Aizawa walked into the room once she had shut her journal. “That;s not everything you’ve thought and seen since the incident, the moments leading up to you using your quirk were never written down, but after a day or two of recovery some of the others present and I will do our best to fill you in on what you missed. Or, maybe you’ll remember on you own,”

“Alright, that sounds good. So, it seems I lost bits and pieces since I entered UA. Some things are still hazy, but my people’s chart is constantly update, so that helps,”

“People chart?” Bakugo asked, crossing his arms.

“Yeah, I have a chart of everyone that plays a part in my life, and I consistently update my emotions towards them. It’s helpful,” she said, blushing lightly.

“Right... I’d like to know what was in the most recent entry, just to see exactly how much you’re still missing,”

“Okay,” she said, re-opening her journal, “the last thing I wrote about was uhh...” she skipped over a few lines, “I got a phone call from Sir in the middle of the night,” she looked ahead, “Me and the other work-study students met up to talk about it. I went back to my room where- never mind. That’s the last thing!” She said, smiling and closing her book.

“Sure,” Aizawa said, turning to walk out, “I’ll come back Morrow,” he shut the door when he left. Shacking his head lightly, he went back to check on Eri.

Y/n rapidly re-read pages of the book before looking up to Bakugo. “I have a question,”

“Well, are you gonna ask it or just sit there like an idiot,” he said, smiling and re-adjusting to a criss-cross position.

“Are we...” she looked back to her book, “dating?”

“Huh?!”

“Well, I have a bunch of the things we did written down, but it’s all really confusing and I can’t understand most of it,” she blushed, scratching the back of her neck.

“Y/n,” he sighed, shaking his head, “We... We aren’t dating. You are dating Todoroki,”

“But that can’t be right,” She scrunched up her noes. “I wrote down that he said he wanted a break from me, and that I was taking up too much of his time from the make-up work he was doing,”

“He what?” Bakugo shouted, not sure who he was mad at most, Todoroki for hurting her so much, Y/n for not telling him, or himself for not trying to ask Y/n out sooner.

“I mean... that’s what I wrote. Did he say anything to you?”

“No I-”

“Y/n! Thank god you’re okay, I’ve been so worried ever since I heard what happened! They wouldn’t let anyone visit you,” A bi-colored haired boy said rushing into the room and pulling Y/n’s torso into a hug, knocking the air out of her lungs like a delayed punch that should have been an illegal move, but the coach wasn’t looking.

“Todoroki?”

“Babe? Since when do you call me by my last name?” He asked, pulling back slightly and looking over at Bakugo.

“What happened, Baby?” He asked, his eyes flickering back and forth between the two people sitting on the hospital bed.

Bakugo would have answered for her, but he seemed to have lost the ability to speak, it was like the world as punishing him with sleep paralysis, but he was awake, and their was no demon at his bed- just the cold reality of the love of his life being with another.

“My quirk made me lose some of my memories, but it’s okay. I have some things written down, and I’ll most likely regain all of them in a few weeks,”

“You have amnesia? Y/n, I saw the news, but what exactly happened?”

“News?” Y/n echoed, looking over at Bakugo who still remained still as a statue. “Katsuki, what exactly happened to me before I came here?”

“Y/n look, It’s really complicated, and-”

“Y/n? Katsuki? When exactly did you two become such close friends?”

“Oh, we have been spending a little bit of time together,” She answered, not looking away from Bakugo’s eyes.

“Seems to be a little more that a little,” Todoroki said, his eyes going back and forth between hers, searching for something he swears is there.

“I guess not everything is what it seemed,” Bakugo snapped at him, startling what once was a peaceful conversation.

“I guess not,” It was hard not to agree with her new friend. Even though she could have sworn that, with the little she had read and started to remember, they were together.

Or did he spend the night with all his friends? Did he bring over their favorite snacks to watch a horror movie, followed by a rom-com so they would be able to sleep. Did he tuck all of his friends into bed after they had a nightmare? She had wrote about all the little things he did, all the nights he had spent comforting her, making her laugh so she would stop crying.

It seemed like they had been dating, or at least they were close to dating, but as Bakugo stood up and stormed out of the room it left Y/n wondering something. Was there anything behind the little looks they shared, or was it all just a fantasy made up to satiate her need for a connection?

It doesn’t really matter anymore, does it? Bakugo is gone, Todoroki is back- but did he ever leave? Maybe there really was a reason her walls were so thick. Maybe Bakugo shouldn’t have been an exception, she had grown too close too quickly, and in a flash his little looks were gone.

Thanks for the request! I will always be down to write fluff, but I can’t help but throw a little pain in there special just for you <3 I’m glad you liked Doesn’t Hurt! It means a lot, and I really appreciate the interaction xoxo

A Cold Winter Night (Tokoyami X Reader)

“I think you’re being a little over-dramatic,” Y/n rolled her eyes, and a soft smile grew on her face. Looking into her boyfriends dorm room, a stack of twenty-three blankets piled on his bed caught her eye.

“Is wanting to avoid frostbite overdramatic to you?” Tokoyami had questioned, happily re-arranging his bed into a nest-like appearance big enough for both of them.

“Depends,” she hopped onto the bed, bouncing up and down before her weight was supported by the cheap school-mandated bed frame, “are you outside? How cold is it? And are you in the arctic; because, otherwise I think you’re being a little itty bitty bit overzealous?”

Fumikage made a small noise of displeasure at her shifting the bed arrangement, and he went back to fixing the covers as he said, “You’re just lucky I love you enough to rescue you from that frozen balcony of yours,”

“Jokes on you, I like freezing on my balcony,” She winked at him, a sense of validation falling on her once her boyfriend snorted at her snarky remarks.

“You’re ridiculous, y’know that, right?”

“Oh, of course, it takes a lot of work to be this perfect,” she moved over so Fumikage would have enough room to sit beside her, back cushioned by a wall of pillows.

“It works for you,” he smiled, pulling his laptop onto his lap- tilting it so there would be no glare from Y/n’s angle.

“What does?” She asked, shifting closer to his body heat.

“Perfection,”

A small blush and quaint smile pulled on her lips as she softly placed her head on his shoulder, her eyes fluttering shut. “You’re such a dork, just start the movie,”

—————————————

As the night went on, Fumikage found Y/n nestled happily in the warmth of his make-shift nest of blankets and pillows.

The soft glow of his laptop screen illuminated her face- he couldn’t help but wonder how he got so lucky. She truly is the epitome of perfection; Y/n is beautiful on the outside, but it was the golden glow of her heart that drew him in.

Her kind smile, the gentle touch of her hand when she comforted him, her never ending support on all his ventures; how she came to settle for him was beyond what Tokoyami could comprehend. Whatever deity was out there definitely did him a favor.

His feathers ruffled up as she nestled her face into the crook of his neck, it tickled but Y/n was the cutest person to ever exist. He gave her a soft peck on the forehead and rested his chin on the top of her head.

Y/n smiled so softly it would be impossible to see unless it was actively searched for. It was clear to everyone that they were to impossibly in love with each other, they were twin flames- made for each other in every possible way. Like two pieces of a puzzle their hands were molded for each other, and every night Y/n’s soulmate went to sleep wishing he was the one sleeping next to her.

Every night, just a wall away, he fell asleep hearing them speak so softly to each other, just imagining she was with him instead of Tokoyami. Every night he lays wondering where he went wrong, why she never even looked his way. Shoto thought he would never fall in love, but, as soon as he did, he realized he was too late.

She was a beautiful angel who would never be with him, and the worst thing was that he was happy for her. At least he knew she would fall asleep with a smile on her face every night- it just hurt that it wasn’t him that put it there.

Far From Freezing

Fandom: Boku No Hero Academia, My Hero Academia Warnings: Fire, Cold Weather, Passing Out, Reference Nudity, Reference to Sex, fluff Words: 2k388 Requested By: Anon Summary: Winter’s here, not that this effects the doting girlfriend of the half hot half cold idol of class 1A

image

The bus ride had always been Y/n’s least favorite part of any given day. Attending the most prestigious hero school was a dream come true- but it came with prices big and small. One of which was the half-hour commute from the L/n house to the building. Her parents were both long gone by five thirty in the morning- and, not wanting to wake up at dawn to be ready on time, Y/n settled for the six thirty bus ride to Musutafu.

Had it just been the rocky streets which pestered her journey she’d be fine- cursed with headaches and vertigo, but fine. She could take the annoying passengers which surrounded her as well; they kept their distance, and headphones worked wonders nowadays. Y/n could suffer all of this- she could handle it all, except the cold.

Born with a temperature dangerously below what the human body required, Y/n’s parents knew early on what quirk she would have. Absolute Zero- the ability to slow the kinetic energy of anything she touches. Having a naturally cold body temperature meant she was constantly in layers and searching for a heatsource in anything she touches. While it wasn’t a serious issue, it was a constant bother to the teen girl.

So there she was, sitting alone in the back of a shaking bus, with a scowl on her face as the familiar ache in her fingers came back. Desperate for relief, Y/n ignored the self-inflicted pain and rubbed her covered hands together. This bus ride went on far too long.

---------------------------------

“Stupid bus, stupid cold weather, stupid freaking shoes,” soft muttering fell from Y/n’s lips as she swapped her winter boots- which excellently trapped the heat from the heating pads her socks concealed- to the thin indoor shoes the school mandated. She took two steps away from her locker before deciding the ache already taking over her heels was far from worth it, and she swapped back to her large and fuzzy winter boots; dress code be damned.

Y/n couldn’t help but glare softly at the other students of class 2-A. While she loved each and every one of them dearly, seeing her best friends happily chatting away the warm air in their chests left her with undying envy. It didn’t help the cold that freezes over her heart come winter either. Her classmates, who she typically hangs off of and adores, had a tendency to ignore her come november.

They meant no harm, and Y/n’s pretty sure they do is subconsciencly. She slows the air around her, causing the temperature to cool- whether her classmates noticed or not they steered away from her. In addition to that, Y/n had a very different atmosphere in general come the holidays. Blame the ache in her bones, her abandonment issues, her parents who were always too busy to celebrate festivities, blame anything you’d like- but the only thing Y/n enjoyed about winter was the beautiful moments of solitude.

While she was normally very outgoing and attentive to others, Y/n took the frozen season as a time for herself. She cherished the heavy blankets and knitted sweaters- fuzzy socks and fireplaces, watching television with a mug of hot chocolate, ten layers of wool and heating pads while music for only her played. Y/n loved the rare alone time the snowy season provided, but the biter-sweetness of it all never seemed to fade.

Can you really blame her for the blood-freezing glare she sent the class representative? Don’t get her wrong, Y/n follows the rules and get’s some of the best grades in the class. She was a threat to whoever opposed her, but she was very stubborn. Perhaps that was the only feature she inherited from her spit fire of a mother.

So there she was, perched at her desk, arms folded, ignoring one of her friends. Iida glared directly back, lecturing her on the importance of following the dress code and how it’s their not only for aesthetic purposes but for their own good. Once she realized he couldn’t understand why she was wrapped in five layers in the heated room, Y/n stood from her seat and walked over to him. Noticing the shivers that coursed through his spine as she approached, Iida took a half-step back from her. She confidently placed her hand on his blazar covered shoulders.

“This is what I feel like right now,” she spoke- her voice a whisper which replicates a howl in the wind. Iida- now much colder than he once wan- nods and lets her off with a warning before returning to his seat, discreetly starting his engines in order to heat up once again.

She wishes for many things- but above everything she wished her hero-phobic parents would have allowed her to stay at the dorms. Anything would have been better than this. The cold from the metal walls still nipped at her skin an hour later, and Y/n was ready to tap out and go to the nurses office so she could lie atop a furnace to heat up once again.

Sadly, Mr. Aizawa refused to allow that. Quirk training had officially started, and he considered this endurance practice for the aspiring female hero. While the other students worked on pushing their quirks to the limits and beyond, she did the same. Stripping of her wool layers down to her uniform- taking of her shoes and socks.

Her quirk worked through thermal equilibrium, her body needs to be colder than the object she touches to slow the atoms in it. While she could slow her body at will, she lacked the ability to speed it up again. This is a bridge she couldn’t cross any time soon. So, instead, she was told to focus on slowing her body as much as she can. While her body is meant to withstand cold temperatures, the coldest she has ever gotten was negative one hundred and sixty degrees degrees before falling asleep. While that was a remarkable feat, she was sure she could go lower.

That’s how she got into her current predicate. With Aizawa’s encouragent, Y/n breathed slowly and steadily, attempting to reach or break her current record. The time she had gotten that cold was under extreme stress- a fire had started in the daycare her little brother attended. She and the teacher were the only ones there who weren’t children- and they hadn’t been informed of the newest quirk-manifestation. This child was the first in the school to gain their non-mutan quirk, and it had been a complete surprise.

The child was playing with her brother and didn’t want Y/n to take him away- thus he accidentally sent flames in her way. While he wasn’t very strong, Y/n’s little brother had been born with their mothers quirk- Enhancer. He naturally multiplied the quirks strength of whoever he touched. When he tried to move his friends hands away from his sister- he greatly increased the heat of the flames. Y/n was quick to respond and she was left unscaved- with only a minor fear of children from that day forward.

Now, she was determined to gain that kind of control again. The air in the building began to drop and Y/n relaxed her body. Once it had dropped ten degreed in a matter of seconds eyes looked over at both Todoroki and Y/n. When Shoto shook his head, showing he had made no ice, all eyes fell on the so called ‘Winter Hero’, Frostbite- as the tabloids happily referred to her as.

Aizawa kept a trained eye on her figure, noticing the increase paleness of her skin. While she was typically much paler than the average person due to her resting body temperature of 75 degrees, a noticeable blue undertone started to form.

As the room became colder and colder, all practicing stopped. The students shivered in the freezing room, as their body heat no longer kept the temperatures up. The one a-little-warmer-than-comfortable 90 degree room fell to fifty degrees and showed no sign of stopping as the girl kept her focus. As she continued she opened her eyes, becoming aware of the silence now surrounding her. She had become much stronger than last year. She scored very well on all quirk testing, but she could only get her body temp to around negative ninety degrees. Now, with all her practice, she reached that in no time.

As he watched his other students begin to shutter at the sudden cold and rub their hands together for warmth, he wonders if he should stop Y/n for the day. Still, he needed to know her limit. This is what the day was for, to determine who needed extra supervision and would need immediate assistance in case of a vilain attack. He’d just have to deal with the consequences of his decision after she was done.

Still, despite how rigid her posture, despite the blue hues taking over her skin, despite the ice which froze in the air around her, she kept going. Colder and colder until breathing became difficult for the other students. The ground turned to frost, and the students became slower and slower until they too were stuck in place. Standing next to the thermostat, Aizawa watched as it rapidly declined. Once her eyelashes had frozen together Y/n’s annoyance only fed her need to grow stronger.

So wrapped up in her own world, she finally snapped out of her inner monologue long enough to realize a hand was on her shoulder. Aizawa could only touch her for a moment before hissing in pain and withdrawing it. Even through her blazer the cold attacked him, and the skin on his hand had ripped and cracked. He shook his head at his own stupidity. Still, Y/n stopped lowering her body temperature.

“You beat your record by one hundred and ten degrees, you can stop now.” Y/n couldn’t understand what her teacher was saying, but she knew he was talking to her. Swaying in place, Y/n only recognized a sudden heat before passing out.

------------------------------

Waking up in the infirmary was something Y/n had a love-hate relationship with. While she despised the idea of either losing control or being injured, the nurse always turned up the temperature unreasonably hot in her office whenever she was admitted. It always made Y/n feel a little special, knowing a faculty member would withstand an above one hundred degree room just for her comfort. It was nice.

Still, the heat felt different than the other times she awoke in the medical bed. Shuffling closer to the warmth, Y/n finally opened her eyes to find a beautiful sight. Shoto was asleep next to her, wearing a baby blue turtleneck and looking angelic. It wasn’t rare for the two of them to cuddle with his fire side against her- he was well aware of the downside of Y/n’s quirk. He was a little cautious at first, but he soon linked her to the stray cats which followed him during winter. They would constantly sit against his leg once the cold air came back- finding comfort in something he was once scared of.

Now, he loved it. He adored that he could help his beautiful girlfriend. She had once told him that the only time she went extremely low in temperature she had entered a coma, and it took two weeks for the hospital to find someone with a fire quirk strong enough to comfort her. Now, he was there.

Sure it was a little awkward, after all, she had been stripped by the nurse so he could send fire at his unconscious girlfriends body. It was more than a little questionable, and had not both parties and their parents consented to this being a solution (and this not being the only circumstances he’s seen Y/n naked in before), Shoto always felt guilty, like he was taking advantage of his sleeping girlfriend. While he never touched her, and her figure was obscured by the flames, he always covered his eyes. Yet, he still felt guilt chew away at him until she woke up. Until she reassured him she was fine with it, he felt like without her verbal consent he was destroying her trust in him- and it was an emotional wrecking ball every time.

No matter how many time’s Y/n tried to help him understand her appreciation for him, Shoto always felt the desire to dote on her for at least a day afterwards. It was his own special was of saying “I’m sorry,” despite Y/n feeling like he was never in the wrong.

Either way, Y/n wasn’t gong to complain- especially today. Watching him stir awake, Y/n moved slightly away- only for Shoto’s arm to wrap around her and pull Y/n back into his chest.

“I’m sorry,” his lips rested against her hair while he spoke- eyes clenched tight as he tried to preserve the sweet atmosphere.

“Thank you,” Y/n responded, looking up to his face and kissing his noes.

“I called your parents,” he explained, hugging her close and snaking his arms around her waist.

“Yeah?” She smiled- already knowing how that conversation probably went. Her parents loved Shoto; the already treated him better than either of their biological children. They were hesitant at first, hateful on their worst days. While they generaly were distrustful of heros, the L/n’s were known to despise Endeavor.

That said, it took two visits to her house for Y/n’s parents to adore Shoto, their opinions of him completely switched when they learned of the mutual hatred the tree of them held towards his father. It was a cute family bonding moment, one Y/n can’t help but wish she caught on camera. Ever since then, Shoto was their favorite child. He was the one who they couldn’t say no to.

“They said they’re okay with you spending the night in my dorm,”

“Of course they are,” Y/n linked her hands behind his neck and peppered kisses across his face, “they love you. If I get pregnant they know you’ll most likely propose, and that’s what they want more than anything else.”

He hummed in a light hearted response, nuzzling closer to her and kissing her quickly. “Are you still freezing, love?”

“Trust me,” she moved her lips against his again, losing herself in his heat in his scent, “I’m far from it.”

What I Said When The Sun Set

Fandom: Bnha, Mha

Pairing: Todoroki x Reader

Rating: E

Words: .6k85

Warnings: Angst, Breakup

A/n: He might not be with her, but he’s always in her heart- aka - Y/n still loves him, even after he left.

What I Said When The Sun Set

“He’s an idiot. He can't be– Sho's the smartest guy I know."

Y/n sat on the pier of the silent beach, leaning back on her hands as she stared at the yellow sky which glowed onto her skin.

A sigh passed her lips, "You're right, maybe he's just stupid."

Her eyes were shut as the smile danced on her lips, swaying with her memories. “He used to say the best was yet to come. All the time, whether something bad or good happened he’d take my hand and lock eyes with me. In the softest voice he’d whisper the best is yet to come, and I never really knew if it was a promise or a threat.”

The wind blew through her toes, making Y/n sigh with a degree of content she hadn’t felt in a while.

The sky had turned pink while she laid there, and she started laughing. Her cheeks were sore and her eyes watered from the smile. Y/n turned hysterical, her stomach shaking with every semi-melodic burst of humor. And then, she just didn’t feel like laughing anymore.

“Do you think...” she paused, thoughts about her life passing through her brain. He’d left so suddenly, with no warning he just decided she wasn’t enough. She thinks about her flower shop, the one she runs by herself in a nice part of town. She thinks about the smiles people send her way as she walks down the street and her small apartment that has everything she needs. “Do you think he’d be happy for me?”

Then she thinks of that night. Remembers the tears on his face and the shifting of his attitude. How he swayed between burning with anger and cool indifference. She remembered what he told her, that he needed more- needed something different.

Her lips pulled to the side of her face- “I can understand that. But-” she breathed out, “Why did I need to go?”

The sky shifted colors to answer her, the pink turning to a purple gradient. The water sparkled in tribute to her tears, letting her know she wasn’t alone. Even in the depths of the sea there can always be company found in misery.

“Is he happy now?”

She’d seen him on the news- fighting along side some of the other heroes she’d met while they were dating. Y/n was proud, of course, to see him being successful. She just hated that she hadn’t been there to see him through it.

That’s the point, she had to remind herself, he couldn’t succeed with you ruining it for him.

For a second she considered putting her hand in the water, in hopes it would feel like him. She didn’t- just thought about it.

Her empty gaze looked out to the sky, as the darkness began to swallow the glowing light. Her eyes stung. “I love you.”

Her throat felt stuck, like everything she couldn’t say since he left had waited for this moment. “I miss you.”

“Please come back,”

“I’m sorry,”

“I’ll do better,”

“Don’t leave me,”

“Please just,”

“Please don’t go.”

“I can’t do this without you.”

“I need you here with me,”

“What happened?”

“I’m so sorry,”

“I need you,”

“I thought you loved me,”

“I love you.”

The sun was a capricious god. It held her hand during the day but did nothing to curb the agony she fell into. The sun was hateful and loving- a pillar of everything she can do and everything she failed at.

The moon is consistent. Always listening but never taking action. She offers no solace, no comfort. She just comes and listens, watches, and leaves. Maybe that’s why the darkness made her feel better. She had no expectation from the black sky, no thoughts that she’d be happier when it came. So she cried and cried until her throat was sore and eyes turned bloodshot.

Then, when there were no traces of the sun in the sky, Y/n picked herself up from the pieces she fell into. Gathering her pride and stitching the shreds of her dignity back together, she walked away from the pier to go home. Each step reminded her that she was still alive, taking her further away from the past. With each step she moved forward, trying to forget what she said when the sun set.

And ALSO the fact that is implied in chapter 430 that Izuku is the perfect number one hero: in the last chapter of the manga we see that Katsuki and Todoroki are competing for the number 1 spot as heroes, both are strong and have worked hard to get where they are but it is clear that they both lack something. Katsuki is strong but he is not friendly, kind and calm like the number 1 hero should be, he is too arrogant, proud and conceited (Aizawa also says that his personality will probably make him go down in the ranking). Shoto is calm and kind but not extroverted enough to empathize with people, he is too awkward. Izuku on the other hand is the perfect hero, just like All Might: he is kind, caring, extroverted (the opposite of Todoroki), humble but serious and confident when needed, he does not use strength as a way to increase his ego but for a genuine desire to help others (unlike Bakugou, who has made a huge glow up as a character but who is still too aggressive with the public).

I'm sorry I'll never get over it.

I don’t think I will ever accept the fact that Izuku, the one that deserved more than anyone else to be the greatest hero, lost his quirk and became a teacher. My baby deserved more and deserved to fulfill his dream to help people as a hero like he always dreamed to do, not as a teacher.

College!Class-1a! X Fem!Reader 18+Drabble

This is really starting out as imagination for being shared by the characters, then I thought of this. So in this the class has eyes on you and can’t help it but always wanted you. Then one day your professor takes it a step further. This is yanderish.

Class 1A: Izuku midoriya, Shoto Todoroki, Ejiro Kirishima, Katsuki Bakugou, Ochaco Uraraka, Mina Ashido, Shōta Aizawa, Hanta Sero, Denki Kaminari, Tenya Iida, Fumikage Tokoyami, Momo Yaoyorozu, Kyouka Jirou

Warning: Sex watching, teasing, degrading, yandere content, masterbating, touching oneself to someone else, slight circle jerk?, professor x student, being used, authority play, hair pulling.

This is content that isn’t light of heart, filthy shit. So, dead dove do not eat. All characters are of age and consenting.

It was just another day in class, your classmates would drift their eyes to you occasionally to stare lovingly then turn away. You looked so cute today, like you did everyday, they always appreciated how beautiful you looked for them. Each time you’d look down or wrote in your notebook, Aizawa was staring at you. His eyes however didn’t look at your face but below the open deck to between your legs. That showed your pretty pussy all to him.

He could barely focus on his lesson with the picture of you in his mind, so he’d trip in his words and forget about what he was saying. This was new for him because he was always calm and steady, bored even. So the whole class took noticed his actions.

It wasn’t until he stopped fully while looking at you and the whole class followed his gaze in confusion. You didn’t even notice because you were taking notes and blocked him out until you got passed a point. “Y/n.” He sounded annoyed. Looking up to meet his glaring gaze you stare wide eyed at being in trouble.

“Yes sir.” He leaned on his desk and pointed in front where you would stand in front of the whole class. You gulped, “Stand up and go to the front of the class.” You flushed embarrassment at all the attention but followed his instructions to not get in anymore trouble. They all kept their eyes on your shy figure standing before them all in your school uniform. Aizawa made his way around and stood by you while putting a hand on his chin, inspecting you.

Turning his attention to the class, “Can anyone tell me what’s wrong with Miss L/n’s outfit?” You stared panic. All eyes looked at you from head to toe at the same outfit you wear every day, and they noticed everything you did. So the class stayed silent. Aizawa sighed and clicked his tongue.

“Surprising, you guys watched her like little bitches in heat.” He said amused with a eye roll, his demeanor changing quickly. The group looked at each other taken aback. Oh, you remembered clearly what you had done today. “I’m sorry-” his hand covered your mouth quickly and pushes you against the desk, the others getting defensive.

“Clearly your peer forgot the dress code,” you squealed when his other hand tugged at your skirt and lifted it. You struggled against him and tightened your legs together with tears picking up in your eyes. It was embarrassing…But also gave you a thrill.

“No panties under her skirt, she didn’t even close her legs.” You huffed as they all looked down at your cunt. Each of them turned red and moaned at the sight, the girls getting wet and the boys pants getting tight. “Shy? Awe, that’s pathetic.” He pushed you back and you were forced to take a seat in his desk.

“Show them, you know you want to be a good little slut.” You looked up at him with puppy eyes while he just smirked devilishly. But the problem to fighting back was simple. You didn’t want to. You spent nights imagining being fucked by your dorm mates, all of them you thought about along with your professor. So you nodded and slowly opened your legs for them to see each detail, your holes and clit.

Now your eyes cried while your sweet moans poured out, the wet sounds of your pussy while his fingers thrust into you. Hands gripping the desk for support at how good the pleasure felt, your stomach twisting and turning. You couldn’t focused on your classmates to long while they all touched them to you.

The girls parted their legs while rubbing their clits and you could hear them too. Ochako and Mina fingered themself to match what you felt so they could feel one with you. The boys were surprisingly louder then the girl while stroking their cocks. Bakugo was more growling while fucking his hand as fast as he could go, Kirishima was soft and slow along with sero. Deku and denki were the loudest in the room, who got yelled at because they couldn’t hear you. But the other boys and girls kept quiet while touching themselves, afraid to make a sound.

Aizawa was painfully hard and made you rub him threw his pants for some relief, but he couldn’t take his eyes off of you. The way you cried, moaned just by him fingering you. It was intoxicating. “Cum- Oh fuck, going to cum.” You announced with your eyes rolling back.

“Dumb girl, think that’s what you get?” You cried out when he pulled out of you quick and left you empty. “All of you stop or I’ll fail you.” They all stopped and panted, caught in a haze of the high. “At least you all listen to me now, now pull up your pants and shit.” Groaning they all listened, the reality sinking in on them. You wiggled to get off the desk but he stopped you.

“Shoto, Ochako are the only ones who get to finish.” The two looked up and the rest looked at them. “Y/n here will finish you off,” your hair was gripped and pulled you off the desk. He forced you down onto your knees, “Well?” The two thought for a second but stood up to walk over to you, standing above you.

“All of you get to watch, be thankful.” He left you and walked to his chair and leaned back. So, you licked her pussy and gave him a hand job until they both came. Todoroki’s cum splatter on your face as you cleaned her pussy up, you got breathless fast. The end of class was awkward and silent, no one knew what to do or say. So you all just left.

But it was only a matter of time before you got home and the class was waiting for you to get their turn. Willing to do anything to get you.

(You can ignore if requests are closed)

Can I have Todoroki, Bakugo and Ochaco with a s/o that jokes about their childhood trauma and they really want people to laugh at the jokes

(Gender neutral reader please, they/them)

MY FIRST REQUEST!!!!! ;3 I‘d happy to Anon! I didn’t understand at first but I think I got it right. I’m sorry If I was wrong for any of these and also an trigger warning for swearing. Anyways……

Todoroki, Bakugo and Uraraka with an S/O that jokes about their childhood trauma

Shoto

(You Can Ignore If Requests Are Closed)

As we know, Todoroki is DENSE, so he wouldn't understand at first.

But the more you joke, the more the message starts to sink in….

Todoroki would see you talk about this with people and they would always walk away from you.

One day he confronted you about this, sitting you down on the couch to talk.

“S/O, are you ok? You have been making a lot of jokes about yourself in your childhood. What happened?”

When you explained how to just did it so that people would like you, he gave you a hug and a kiss on the forehead.

“S/O, you dont need to joke like that to be friends with people. In fact, you just being you right now is that reason I fell in love with you.”

Todoroki from then on went out of his way to make sure you were thinking positive about yourself.

He even borrowed one of Izuku’s notebooks just to show you how amazing everyone thought you were.

He loves you and doesn’t want you to be upset

(Guys I freaking love Shoto, help)

Bakugo

(You Can Ignore If Requests Are Closed)

Unlike Shoto, he understands right away.

Bakugo would most likely yell at you when you say that stuff about yourself, claiming it was embrassing him because if his S/O thought like that, it would make him look bad.

Bakugo eventually got tired of your behavior and everyone running away from you and at home, he was trying to calmly talk to you.

TRYING

After a while, he just was yelling again but that’s Kacchan for you.

instead of him calming you, you had to calm him.

After calming down, he asked you

”S/O, why in the damn hell would you say that shit?! You are amazing! And I know that because if you weren’t, Why would you be dating me?! The future number one hero?!”

After you explained that you wanted more friends and by telling the jokes you had thought they would want to be your friend, Bakugou took you out and y’all met up with Bakusqaud!

You and the Bakusqaud became best friends.

And Bakugo would happily beat up anyone whom tried to hate on you from your jokes.

Uraraka

(You Can Ignore If Requests Are Closed)

CONCERNED AS HELL

She loves you! You’re her s/o! So why would you say that stuff?!

Most likely when you say something like that, she will pull you away from the person talking to you.

When she confronted you about it, she staright up cried on you.

“S/O? *Hick* Why would you *Hick* say that about yourself? I love you and *Hick* I don’t want you to be sad! You are the most sweetest, cutest person I know!”

When you explained to her that you just wanted to make friends with your jokes, she pulled you into a tight hug.

She than took you out.

You didn’t know where you were going but you came along.

You guys met up with Dekusqaud (or whatever it’s called)

You guys talked a lot and you eventually made friends with all of them. Even Bakugo!

Uraraka then cuddled with you at home for a very long time until y’all went to sleep.

Ok there you go! I’m sorry if it wasnt that good, but hey I tried right?
