RWBY Actor AU but the NDAs have all expired for the actors who left the show/had their characters killed off.
Taurus-Khan; the Warrior
“Taurus-Khan,” Fennec Albain said as he stopped a few paces behind the Khan, the Warlord of the Faunus tribes, “Taurus-Khan, the Elders of the Tribes await your permission to behold their new Leader.”
Adam Taurus-Khan did not turn around as he said.
“Wait ten minutes, then show the Elders in.”
Fennec had half-turned when Adam said.
“Show the Elders in accordance with the rites. As befits a war council.”
Fennec’s ears, tall and pointed like a Fox on the hunt, twitched slightly as he nodded in response to Adam’s commands. The tail of a red cloak was briefly glimpsed before it followed Fennec out the flaps of the tent, and Adam was left alone in his command tent to ponder the massive map laid out before him. An expanse of marked canvas laid out with huge pins against a board that dominated a wall of Adam’s tent.
The Map detailed Adam’s future, and marked out the path Adam had taken that led up to this moment. A path that Adam considered now, before he faced what fate had in store for him.

The coup was flawless. Those who Fennec failed to convert were dispatched by Adam’s loyalists before Adam had arrived to take command. Adam himself entered the Khan’s palace and faced the last of the Khan’s old guards. A dozen hallways Adam filled with blood, more drops to the bucket, more marks on the tally against Adam’s soul.
The last of the Khan’s guards were the best Adam had faced.
Adam’s blade tore out the belly of the first guard in exchange for one of the horns which poked through Adam’s mane of blood-red hair.
The second guard managed to trade two blows and survived that first exchange. Adam then broke that guard’s nose with a vicious headbutt. The guard managed to block Adam’s blade despite the damage and was able to endure the second swing. Adam’s third swing buried his blade in the guard’s shoulder and before the guard could pull a dagger, Adam had dragged his blade across the guard’s throat.
It was a movement so rough that the guard’s head barely stayed attached to its neck. It was a movement so fast that Adam had reached the end of the hallway before the guard’s blood could splash across his black suit.
“The Khan is alone, the day is ours Taurus-Khan.”
Adam turned to stare at the hazy blur crouched on a beam in the hallway’s ceiling. Disapproval was clear in his gaze despite the blank mask that covered the upper half of Adam’s face. At length, Adam turned away, and pushed through the double doors that blocked his path at the end of the hall.
The doors led to a room so sparsely furnished it made the space feel oppressive. Red banners which bore the symbol of the Khan, a red Panther’s head on three red stripes against a white background, were the only decorations in the room. Arranged to draw an intruder’s attention to the throne at the room’s head, which was a heavy couch draped in the skin of a Tiger, a divine animal revered by Adam’s people.
The throne was set on a three-step platform marked at the corners with plain torches. It's only occupant was a woman whose gold, feline eyes watched Adam impassively as he approached the throne with a naked blade.
“The title of ‘Khan’ would bring you nothing worth the blood you have shed,” the woman said as she stepped off the platform to meet Adam, “neither would it justify the war you had started at Beacon Academy with the Humans.”
Adam stopped as the woman got into the range of his blade which was held easily at Adam’s side. Adam then said.
“Sienna-Khan. We justified war with the Humans when they broke their promises, and took wrongfully from our people. Victory would be worth the bloodshed. The title of ‘Khan’ would be my tribute to the example you have set for the White Fang.”
The train of Sienna Khan’s cape rustled across the varnished wooden floor as she folded her arms and said.
“And what example might that be?”
Adam gently raised the tip of his blade and said.
“Strength. Strength and unwavering conviction. You have shown us that Humans only listen when they feel our strength. I will make the lesson permanent, just as you wished.”
“I wished for Humanity to fear the Faunus, to know that we demand respect,” Sienna said, unconcerned with Adam’s blade poised for a Viper’s strike, “but what respect can we earn when we strike from the shadows, with the strength of other Humans instead of our own?”
“It is strength nevertheless,” Adam said with a shrug of his shoulders, “I relish the challenge if there is a better way, a stronger way. Until then, I will fight with everything I have, and with every weapon I can use. That is my strength.”
Sienna-Khan stiffened as she prepared to rebuke Adam further. However, the tone in Adam’s voice made her pause for a moment as she considered what she knew about Adam Taurus. The tip of the White Fang she had raised since birth, whose training she had carefully overseen, save for one indulgence which Sienna had allowed Adam to have for his own.
“You believe Blake will become strong enough?”
Adam’s blade flashed once, and as he pushed through the double doors to let his Loyalists clean up the mess, Adam said.
“I will make sure of it.”

The Elders of Adam’s people did not know what to make of the young Khan, but they ignored the insolent manner with which he lounged across the Khan’s throne, and across the table each Elder made their reports on various matters.
Finally, one of the braver amongst the Elders stood and said.
“The Humans seek a response, Taurus-Khan. For your actions at Beacon Academy, for the deaths the White Fang has inflicted under the leadership of your predecessor, and for the deaths that may come as a result of the chaos you have started.”
When Adam, his elbow on an armrest and his chin in his hand, did not reply. The Elder pressed further and said.
“Taurus-Khan, how would you have us respond?”
“War.”
The Elder flinched and sat as Adam stood at the head of the Council table.
“The language of our People is older than the age of Humans. Yet somehow, Humanity’s stubbornness has exhausted the million words we have for ‘peace’.”
Adam removed his mask, basked in the fear of the Elders at his naked face, and said.
“Now we respond with Steel and with Fang. Now we respond with one word; War.”
Adam then replaced his mask and left the tent. In his wake the Elders whispered.

RWBY Saints of Remnant Notes: Adam Taurus, Surrogate Brother, Liberator, and former slave worker
WARNING: This post contains is a radically reimagined Adam Taurus in a positive light in a heavily reimagined RWBY AU and has cliche and a ship that may turn you off due to Canon, if Canon Adam has given you a permanent bad taste in your mouth, I understand, this is an AU, just please do not come in with bad faith and ignore me instead.

Now given the whole grievances the RWDE tag as made about him, and looking back on him myself, I'd had figured there were two options for him, at least in my opinion
Either make him anti-villain or initial antagonist turned ally, which I have chosen for the latter. Either way, I threw out him being Blake's ex because I honestly thought it was kinda dumb and melodramatic.
Though FRWBY as I heard has done a good job tweaking that to make it work as well as Adam as a villain.
But I chose to go for something else, Adam being something of a surrogate older brother for Blake instead.
For this specific backstory, Adam is from Mistral, from a small village led by his father, a respectable Huntsman.
Now I'm trying to figure it out but with my Altered SDC and Jacques post, Arthur Gray(Watts) megacorporation GigaWatts Incorporated has outsorced work, and much like the SDC in Canon!RWBY Adam's family worked at one of their factories in the East under poor working conditions which claimed the life of his parents.
Adam much like his Canon counterpart, also worked pretty much as a slave, and his eye injury I chasing between either branding or a factory accident.
Now this draws on Fritz Lang's Metropolis which I feel like doesn't get enough love, and I will use this clip along with Metropolis when I get to post about the not-so-good doctor, his mega-corporation, and the current state of Atlas later.
But basically, Adam was emotionally drained at that point. A zombie of a young man who felt hopeless.
One day in his younger days The White Fang's Eastern Branch attacks the factories. And the one leading the charge was the current White Fang leader, a spider Faunus by the name of Rina Kumokage(first name a placeholder) and her second-in-command Sienna Kahn. Seeing them in action reinvigorated and inspired him and joined them instantly when the two offered a hand.
However, this wouldn't be the liberation that he thought it was, at least not entirely.
Rina's leadership was questionable over in the East while the other branches of the other three corners were busy, Rina seemed to be driven more by politics than the morals of common decency, and had abusive tendencies towards Adam and later on Blake whom she also took under her personal tutelage due to knowing her late father Kuroto(aka Ghira) who was a high ranking member of the White Fang.
But it wasn't all bad, for while Kumokage was a cruel teacher, Kahn on the other hand was the closest thing he had for a mother after losing his parents, and she herself was often downplayed by the current WF leader.
Soon Adam began to realize Rina saw the White Fang as a means for political power, a demagogue exploiting a legitimate cause for mercenary motives. But he wished for no outside help, for reasons I am trying to figure out, but partially the same reasons for Blake of being introverted, not to hurt those close to him.
Now for his allusion, there's always been the argument he was the beast and Blake was the Beauty
But after remembering an analysis post I can't remember where on Tumblr I figured
What if Blake and Adam were both the Beast? like a collective allusion? Which is based on my RWBY collective allusions theory but that's another post for another day.
Adam's individual allusion however is not the Bull Demon King, but Red Boy, with his late parents being The Bull Demon King(his Father) and Princess Iron Fan(his mother), both of their lessons sticking to him. So unlike his canon counterpart while his sanity may had been bent, it wasn't broken.
Now Sun in this AU is the 'Beauty' to Blake's 'Beast' and as for Adam, the ‘Beauty’ to his ‘Beast’ is and hear me out here...
Yang Xiao Long
now I know what you all are thinking...
But here's the idea
Adam as a good guy I would imagine being this grumpy kinda no-nonsense dude and something of a ham(he writes poems in his downtime) and I feel like that would compliment Yang's 'flirty party girl' personality and would play off Black Sun too
Two ships that are similar, yet different, and I just don't mean in a gender bent way.
But not only that, Yang’s role is also to mend the strained brother-sister relationship of Blake and Adam. Adam isn’t obsessed with Blake but was kinda like “Blake, what the hell?” When she left. He’s kinda pissed, but not a flat-out murderous lunatic.
And Yang being an older sibling herself can relate to Adam and talk it out with him, notably all the good things Blake has told Yang about him.
And then of course Yang does try to resort to some spicy flirting, but Adam being taught about earning the blessings of the parents and abstinence, doesn’t reciprocate the same way.
Spoiler alert, Adam is flustered by Yang’s midriff but also know it’s not good for practical purposes in her line of work. Yang notices and tries to tease him further, only for him to tickle her mercilessly to make his point, leading her to make a wardrobe upgrade for “V2”
And I’d be lying if my this was not somewhat influenced by my Catholic faith about modesty and no sex outside of marriage, but I’d think it be kinda cute and funny to ship Yang who’s flirtatious and likes to flaunt it with a very honorable and kinda traditional dude. Expect lots of disappointed pouts from Yang.
Now his altered personality I was inspired by 2 sources
Zuko from Avatar: The Last Airbender
But also Grimlock in Transformers: Fall of Cyberton which the game is also an influence for my reimagined Arthur Watts
For those not in the know-how, Fall of Cybertron due to it success had become the reboot basis for all G1-esque Transformers stories onward.
In it, Grimlock is the commander of the team and had been captured by Shockwave, who is a scientist, to be painfully experimented on which would turn them into Dinobots. Grimlock, driven by furious vengeance free's his comrades and seeks to destroy Shockwave.
Now Grimlock is still a good guy and believes defending the weak and migh-for-right, but he's bad tempered, stubborn, and headstrong really doesn't see eye-to-eye with Optimus Prime, seeing him as a weak leader and barely accepting him as leader due to the Matrix.
So it's kind of the same principle with Adam, with Watts being the 'Shockwave' to his 'Grimlock', though to be specific, Adam has a vendetta against the one running the factory he and his family worked at. Will get to him in the future.
So yeah, that's my Adam so far.

Blake enter’s her dorm room carrying a fancy box full of sushi
Ruby: Wow! Where did you get that? Can I have some?
Blake: Sorry, but this is a deluxe box of sushi that was given to me as a gift. Is almost impossible to get one of this. So I’m not planning on giving it away.
Ruby: *sad* Aw
Yang: Who give you that? *teasing* Was it Sun?
Blake: Jaune actually.
Yang: Why would Jaune give you that?
Blake: I help him get a part time job with my mom.
Ruby: Doing what?
Blake: I don’t know all the details, but my mom explain to me that is a company involved in the entertainment business. They try to get models and drive them through different parts of the city.
Yang: Like one of those blogs where they do roadtrips? Do they promote business around the city?
Blake: I don’t know. I didn’t ask that much. To be honest, I was not interested. I’m not into that type of entertainment. I prefer by books.
Meanwhile.
Jaune is waiting on the street for his ride. Until a white van shows up.
A woman on the drivers seat call him out.
Kali: You are Jaune, correct? Blakes friend
Jaune: Oh yes that’s me. I’m guessing you are her mom, Mrs. belladonna.
Kali: That’s me and call me kali. Hop in, let’s get down to business.
Jaune gets inside the van and sees a beautiful girl in the back seat. Nothing weird about it but Jaune has a weird feeling.
Kali: Everything alright?
Jaune: I just had a feeling of deja vu, like I seen this before.
Kali: *Giggles* I don’t doubt it. We are pretty popular. You may have seen us from time to time. Now let me introduce you to your partner of the day, Sienna khan.
Sienna: *Smiling and licking her lips* Hello handsome.
Jaune: *Smiling innocently* Nice to meet you. *He turns to kali* So what do you need me to… do? *Sees kali setting a camera on the ground in front of him* What is the camera for?
Kali: Is to record the trip. Now just act natural and have fun. *She smiles and press the record button*
Arc Specialist: Has Jaune ever dealt with Sienna in the past? And if so how has their interactions gone?
Yes, they have, 6 months before Jaune went to Beacon. He was captured by high-ranking White Fang members, which earned him scars on his jawline (like in the picture). He was brought to Sienna Khan and the two had a heated debate (No Sienna didn't try to flirt with him. I'm talking about lots of shouting and anger) about Faunas rights and equality, and Jaune admitting that the side he's on, Atlas, is not all that good like he was told, but he's not gonna turn his back on them.
He escaped in a week and sought refuge in the Belladonna household, and they accepted him, Kali did but Ghira was apprehensive about it. He didn't stay that long with them since Jaune feared that the two married couple would be targeted and went on the run and fended off both Grimm and White Fang fanatics.
He was rescued by the Ace-Ops and Winter 2 weeks later...
(Edit: And Winter finally confessed too..Yay!)
