Remus can play the piano.
before everything happened with his dad Hope was giving him lessons
and though he ends up in a children’s home he gets his hands on one while there
it’s his only escape before transfereing to hogwarts
he’s not tone deaf. his sensitive ears allow him perfect pitch
this is also one of the only reasons he survives, when the boys learn he can play they stop bullying him
becomes mildly popular as he’s given requests by them regularly
Once he gets to Hogwarts Minnie installs a piano in the gryffindor common room
Knows how to play every David Bowie song by heart
plays for fleamont and Euphemia during Christmas at the Potters
Sirius tries to one up him (with his many lessons in various instruments *cough* pure blood *cough*) but Remus smiles at him and he messes up
