Klaus sighed. “You’re weakening the gene pool.”
That was about when they heard a loud explosion from outside.
“Nevermind, Klaus,” Bertrand said. “Violet’s already out.”
Indeed, the eldest Addams climbed in through an open window, still covered in dirt, ash and debris. “Learn to deprive me of my explosives before burying me, cretin!” Violet shouted triumphantly.
