I feel like this has never been talked about, but I have a different theory regarding the reason why Two-Bit got rid of Marcia's number. Of course, in the book, he says that the number might have been a fake one, but personally, I think he didn't go for Marcia because she's dark-haired.
I know this sounds stupid, but hear me out. From the book, we get to know that Two-Bit is exclusively into blondes. For example:
(From Chapter 1)
(From Chapter 7)
Now, he was drunk out of his mind when he met Marcia (& Cherry), obviously. And then Marcia gave him her number. & I think Two-Bit realized waaayyy to late that she had dark hair & therefore he wasn't interested in her. I'm not denying that he liked her. I just think it's weird he assumed the number was fake without any proof. Maybe he couldn't believe that a Soc girl was interested in him?? Who knows đ€·ââ

Tulsa, Oklahoma (USA) came of age during the Art Deco period and the oil money that poured in resulted in businesses, several schools, and homes reflective of that style being built in enough numbers for many to withstand urban redevelopment/renewal.
Timely post since the Martin Scorcese movie, Killers Of The Flower Moon (based on the book by the same title) is scheduled for release this fall (October) after appearing at Cannes in May. The setting is right around this time as well....
Here is one such Art Deco building: The Philcade Building, followed by its interior.

Friday, June 23.
Art Deco.
Everything must be Deco, dahling.
Fashion comes and goes, but style is forever, someone once said. Somewhen. In fact, this quote is attributed to a few different sources: Yves Saint Laurent, and Coco Chanel, among others. If no one is claiming attribution, we would happily take the credit in the spirit of finders-keepers.Â

Got a certain ring, don't you think? In any case, we are taking this Friday, June 23 to celebrate one of those aforementioned eternal visual styles, #art deco, daaahling. We couldn't help but notice you fine folk of the dashboard enjoying this same styleâwhat the French so Frenchly call, Arts DĂ©coratifs, following the 1925 Exposition internationale des arts dĂ©coratifs et industriels modernes (International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts) held in (where else?) Paris. Daaaaaaaaaaaahling!Â
We will bid you a Merry Friday and hope to catch you at tonight's Great Gatsby-style event. You know, the extravagant one at the Art Deco-y place in, uh... Noo Yawk. Everyone is going to be there.
Daaaaaaaaahlings xÂ
KPOP FANS/BTSâ ARMY RUINED TRUMPâS RALLY!!!
T.N: Trump planned a rally in Tulsa on Juneteenth (a holiday celebrating the emancipation of those who had been enslaved in the United States) which is so disrespectful to black people. Tickets were available for free as long as you give in your phone number (In sets of two). So BTSâ ARMY went and sold out all the tickets and Trump supporters didnât have any tickets left. Trump saw that there was high demand and thought a million of his supporters would come. When it was the day of the rally, The BTS stans didnât show up and now Trump is suffering pure humiliation. BTS and ARMY donated over $2 Million to BLM and continue to help so many causes around the world. The fandom is contrary to prejudiced opinions is very smart and diverse.Â
