Howl's Moving Castle x Twisted Wonderland Au (Vil x Fem!Yuu) PS: This was written before Vil's new updates in the new chapters, I'm delving deeper into Vil's character and I know he's not just "a pretty boy" but for the direction of the story, he will have to follow this personality aspect a little more to this characteristic part of it. So I'm sorry if this isn't the most faithful fic to the character he is. I promise I will edit better, so that it has better quality.

"Bro, if you don't come soon I swear I'll get her alone!"- Ace stood with his arms crossed outside Heartslabyul's kitchen while Deuce carried a beautiful and tasty strawberry pie that Trey just made, the smell of pie woke up all the members of the dorm leaving them in a wonderful mood, if even the tyrannical Riddle smiled with that pie it would certainly work on Yuu too right?

"Don't rush me Ace! After all that stress yesterday the least we can do is apologize to Yuu."

"And you needed to give Trey more work and make him another pie so soon?"

"Well….er….With model students we must go beyond simple apologies!"- Suddenly, Deuce's jovial face turned red but he quickly remembered that shame should not stop him from apologizing to his friend.

"Come on! She's not even that mad!" raising his arms in resignation he continued “Okay, she is angry! But this happens almost every day, she is already used to it, and besides…” the nosy man put his finger in the gelatinous broth of the pie and licked his fingers. in such an unpretentious way “It’s not like she’s going to disappear out of nowhere and we won’t be able to say goodbye, she’s our friend.”

Deuce sighed heavily and finally agreed with his friend. Trapolla, with a genuine smile, began to remember some adventures they had already had and plan new adventures with Yuu and Grim would also love the antics. And hope filled their hearts. Planning after planning. After all, Yuu would always be with them, right?

“I'm grateful that you managed to get here as quickly as possible.” With a serious voice, the old crow thanked everyone present in the mirror room, from teachers to leaders and vice-leaders, some of Yuu's colleagues were also there.

"We know it's something important Crowley, we need to discuss this as soon as possible" - it was in the middle of breakfast that Riddle heard ADeuce's desperate screams, and when he turned up his nose thinking that the morning had already started badly he couldn't imagine it would get worse.

“So what do we know so far? I only heard loud noises all morning” - the lion grumbled

“The members of my dorm, Ace and Deuce, when they went to pick Yuu up for classes early in the morning, discovered that Yuu and Grim had mysteriously disappeared.”

“Have you looked for clues in the abandoned dormitory?”

“ That's the problem: the entire Ramsharckle Dorm is gone! Not even a piece of wood on the floor, no ghosts, just a mark on the floor where he used to stand” Trey replied and while he already felt anxiety in his heart, he knew that the first boys must be feeling it more. When the two arrived screaming like maniacs in the dorm asking them to follow Trey knew something was strange, due to the fact that his precious pie was dropped on the floor. Not even in an overblot had Deuce dropped a cupcake, but a pie on the floor must have been quite a problem.

“Oh, now that’s a problem.” putting his hand over his mouth Jade whispered discreetly in Azul's ear

“There are rumors all over the school. How could an ENTIRE dorm disappear out of nowhere? What about our protection field?” Leona had had his precious 9am post-sleep nap interrupted when conversations from all kinds of beastmen started to get very loud and his sensitive ears picked up some things.

“I heard that Yuu hasn't shown up to class yet. Did you take their notes?”

“The meteor shower was incredible yesterday! I took several photos and posted them on Magicam!”

“There is a horrible smell near the statues of the seven! A very strong smell of rotten eggs and vinegar!”

" You will not believe! You know that girl's dorm without magic? IT DISAPPEARED"

“Our protective field detected nothing, no changes.”

“What if the dorm is gone but Yuu and Grim are still somewhere in the school? Can Rook use his magic and try to look for them both?”

The hyena knew two things: Nothing disappears without a trace and that Yuu would do anything for her and Grim to survive. No wonder she survived 7 overblots. They are alive.

“Yes, Monsieur Dandelion” when reciting his unique magic, the hunter combined it with a magic from his wand so that everything he was seeing, others would also see with a projection of his magical range - an idea that came from Yuu.

Spell cast but no result, Rook searched every dormitory and every hidden corner of the school, the deserts of scarabia to the bottom of the waters of octaveinelle, in the royal school, in the noble school, in the cities they had visited before but nothing… for one good period of time….nothing.

“Oh for the seven! How terrible! What do we do?" Crowley, oh so sad, exclaimed.

Some voices whispered among themselves, others created more theories about what could have happened.

Malleus was in the corner of the room, absorbed by the shadows of the room, he could see how each person missed Yuu and Grim and how emotions were expressed on their faces, but Schoenheit's looked strange, it wasn't the same expression as sadness that Heartslabyul's dorm leader,it was Silver's expression when he was a child doing something wrong and Lillia caught him in the act… oh yes… guilt.

“Let’s split up, if the dogs just whine, it won’t help anything!” with authority determined to find the two, Crewel spoke out -“The two first year pups, Trey, Riddle, Blue, Rook and Jack go to the Ramsharckle to inspect for any clues in the dorm, any smell, footprint, anything.

Ruggie, Jamil, Jade and Carter, I need you to interrogate the students and find out how the rumors came about and if we have any useful information. Kalim and Epel, stay in this group too.

For the rest, check the library to see if there is any phenomenon linking last night to Ramscharkle's disappearance and calm down the dorms.”

“Any information must be said immediately. Stay calm, we will find them.” concluded Trey and they were soon dismissed

"Child of man, how did you know that Grim would precisely knock down that vase?" - prince in all his wisdom, asks Yuu who had just picked up a vase from the shelf exactly 5 seconds before the monster cat appeared out of nowhere and knocked in the exact location of the vessel.

"Intuition." Malleus's gaze asked for more information and so she graciously gave it “It's when we have the act of perceiving, discerning or sensing things, independently of reasoning or analysis to conclude something, you know? “ “Could this be a magic that only belongs to humans?”

“I don’t think so Tsunotaro” she laughed so cutely “So when you get a feeling about something, go ahead, there’s a good chance you’re right.”

His eyes narrowed and followed Vil's movements, who silently took another path from the research group.

Some things were discovered in each group:

1- The dormitory is completely gone, with all the members. 2-there is a very slight smell of Yuu in a single small section 3- Sam's friends saw Yuu just before the meteor shower started 4- Yuu was upset with some people (rumors) 5- All photos of the meteor shower are blurry 6- Absolutely nothing else

The students looked disappointedly at the paper list before handing it to Crowley, just some facts with few connections between them and no matter how much they looked for some magic or some phenomenon to explain what happened but the results of their efforts yielded nothing, just hearts. sad and heavy consciences and remained that way for a few days.

Until one day, the universe decided to smile at the boys again and especially at the manliest boy in Pomefiore who was pouting on his bed after being tugged on Vil's ear.

“Umnh…hello pewpaw?” “Hello my sweet! How are you?" his grandmother's voice calmed the lilac-haired boy for the first time in days “I’m fine grandma, things have been really complicated these days, but I’m trying hard to get stronger!” “Okay, grandma knows you’ve been having a rough day, so send an extra box of apple juice for you and your friends!” “Thank you, I’m sure they’ll love it-” “And Yuu, how is she?” my crush is missing in the middle of the world and we have no idea if anyone would say we will see her again, thank you “Well, she is… fine….but something happened that-” “Yesterday she said she wasn’t feeling very well, so I gave her that apple and lemon drink and wow! She looked really pretty!”

what WHAT?

“Yesterday grandma? What? Where?” genuinely confused and stunned even more so because Rook appeared out of nowhere next to him and silently asked to turn on the speakerphone on his cell phone. “I bumped into her in the village on Sage Island when we went to make some apple juice deliveries, I even thought you would be close to her with some friends! A pretty girl is not meant to walk alone!”

“How was she, grandma? Was she ok? Where did you see her exactly? “ Exasperated and anxious, the boy tried to control himself so as not to make it too obvious how worried he was! But Crowley, in all his old bird wisdom, ordered that no one should speak of this matter outside of the NRC people.

“She was in front of a store when we bumped into each other, I don't remember the name of the store because some were already closing. I don’t know why but she feels different”

“Like what grandma?” “Like…. magical…. but isn’t she the girl without magic who studies with you?” “Yes, yes… And!… ah… How was she d-different?" - increasingly anxious he had no idea what to think and what to ask without shouting that she was missing “I didn’t see him… um…. She likes it differently, I don’t remember what”

Rook thought of a strategy while Epel pulled out his hair, the hunter wrote on a piece of paper he took from the desk the most direct questions about what everyone wanted to know!

“Grim.was. with. her.? “I didn’t see him… um…. She looked different, I don’t remember what but it was the only thing I remember.”

“Did.she.tell.where.she.was going?” Rook's handwriting looked like a drunken French monarch writing, so give Epel credit for reading that riddle while he was trying not to pass out

“If she said, I don’t remember, she had some bags in her hand and that she had to run because she was in a hurry.” “Hurry.to.what?Hurry.to.where?”

“I don’t know Epel! I don't go around meddling in people's lives! Why are you so interested in her life? It’s like you don’t see her every day at school!”

“Sorry.dear.grandma.I’m curious.ha.ha”

“Anyway, do you know what happened here? Your uncle—-” the dear, sweet old lady couldn't finish the day's gossip because Epel had nervously hung up and ran off to send messages to the first-year students while running like crazy to Crowley's office.

Rook celebrated the victory and elegantly told the evil queen the news. Meanwhile, Lady Pewpeaw looked in the mirror and thought: I already know! She changed her hair! Or is it the hair that changes people? She looked very chic and elegant. Ahh, I hope my grandson Epel can win the heart of that beautiful girl!

As Epel ran with all the strength his legs could carry, which was a lot now that he was in the Spelldrive club, he sent messages to the other first-year students excited about the possibility of Yuu being found and a certain hunter was able to smile knowing that he would have fresh news to tell the evil Queen.

After a brief meeting between the first-year students and briefly with the leaders, Crowley allowed them to investigate possible clues. The boys searched every alley and store with their hearts burning with hope, Deuce was ready to hug her while Ace was preparing a lecture on why she disappeared out of nowhere leaving them all distressed. Jack concentrated as he remembered Yuu's familiar smell, the smell so different from the bunch of men in NRC, the smell that was unique to her. Epel was looking for the address that her grandmother had given her, always looking at the clock and the port, if she could only stay until sunset, that means she would have to leave before dark.

----- The sun finally set, giving way to the moon that illuminated the boys' journey back to school. The hopeful young hearts returned broken, hopeless, shattered, and without any trace of Yuu. Each one informed their dorm leader, Leona just turned her back and tried to sleep knowing that no matter how much she closed her eyes she wouldn't have rest until she found Yuu, Riddle for the first time didn't finish the strawberry pie, and Vil…. Vil was different. Vil was “strangely strange”, when even after receiving the news about Yuu's case he couldn't sleep properly, even with a beauty campaign that was going to make his skin wasn't radiant and a pimple appeared on the corner of his chin.

“The Campaign is tomorrow. How can I let such futile emotions ruin my skin just for tomorrow”? – the poisonous king thought as he touched up his makeup looking at a small hand mirror, taking care that his facial features didn't show the makeup.

“I can't believe we didn't achieve anything Jack!” Vil heard some voices in the hallway.

“It was a good attempt Epel. One time or another we will find an answer.”

“But…but we were so so close! I went to the exact store my pewpaw said but no clue!Damn! When the fuck we gonna have a track like this?!” maybe at another time Vil would fight with Epel for letting his accent come out rougher but the conversation was getting to the queen's delicate nerves

“In Tiana’s Palace there was only the smell of food, nothing of Grim or Yuu. I’m sorry Epel.” Vil might not have seen it, but he could have sworn Jack was rubbing his neck and looking down, probably feeling guilty about for not having found the prefect.

Is he to blame, Vil?

A voice called from the mirror and Vil was so scared that he dropped his mirror on the floor, breaking it into pieces, and he could no longer hear the gossip. But that wasn't the worst, my friends. The worst was right in front of the young prodigy's face. A wrinkle in the middle of the forehead.

“In the name of Gucci this can’t be happening!”

Is he to blame, Vil?

If he hadn't been so worried about his precious skin, he would have noticed a small bat watching him in a corner of the bathroom. Quickly composing himself, he headed to the Film Club at the appointed time.

The moon was shining in the sky and all Vil could think about was the last moments he spent with Yuu, if he said sorry, would she come back? No no, he's not the problem! This is pure coincidence! He turned over the bed and looked for his beauty sleep, but only found guilt and loneliness.

“Maybe a walk will help relax my nerves?” - he put a comfortable jacket over it before opening the door

It was supposed to be just a walk, through the hall of Pomefiore's grand corridors But Vil's desperation led him to the port of Sage's Island with his broom, looking for one last hope of finding Yuu. After all, to get a proper beauty sleep he had to solve the problem of his insomnia first. Some stores were still open, parties, nightclubs, a small village but so bright! With people laughing and talking, how lovely. Every person who recognized the celebrity asked for a photo and an autograph and the question he wanted to ask everyone died in his mouth. """Have you seen this person recently?"""

Putting his acting skills to good use, he put on his best face that didn't show how terribly guilty he felt and lost in his thoughts he entered the dorm, maybe the Film Club had something that could distract him, spend some time energy and quality sleep, maybe some sleeping pills… something…. the bedroom is not the best time right now, not when he can't sleep. And here he is, in the pit of frustrations. In the place where that day happened.

“The weather is pleasant tonight, wouldn’t you agree, Schoith?” Malleus's cordial voice cut through his train of thoughts, like the brakes on a speeding train. He had just entered the club, then closed the door. The atmosphere was strange, like sticking your hand in a hornet's nest with sleeping bees. What was the great one doing here?

“Greetings, Draconia. I thought I locked the door, the club is closed now. As you can see around, everything is a mess. ”- Vil gestured his arms indicating the mess that the studio was around, with open boxes and disheveled wigs, it seems that the students who remained there after he left did not clean up the mess, much to Vil's annoyance.

“What a vulgar club this is. With such vulgar fantasies.” Malleus's repetitive voice was like a poison, the atmosphere was no longer “strange”, it was cold and heavy, the heir of the Valley of Thorns did not hesitate to hide the contempt and hatred mixed in his words “And you are the most vulgar thing from here."

The bees woke up.

“Yes, it’s messy! A few rotten potatoes didn't clean up the mess, they'll see about it tomorrow! It's none of your business.” Angry, the bees buzzed away, leaving the environment more agitated and hostile. No matter how much Vil tried to remain classy, his eyebrows showed his indignation and his fists were ready to attack.

Malleus approached, circling the leader of the Pomefiore domain, like a predator and his prey. The prince's eyes shone a bright shade of green and his pupils became increasingly thinner. Through the window, some thunder and lightning ripped through the sky, revealing Malleus' internal storm.

“I heard that there will be an important campaign tomorrow. Surely, you don't go that way, do you? Please don’t ruin the Queen’s reputation, after all, how do you want to continue her legacy if you have broken nails like any commoner?” looking directly at Vil's closed fists, Malleus smiled with disdain and a slight satisfaction seeing the oh so beautiful Vil shaking with anger.

“How dare Malleus? I don't know what you're doing here but leave immediately!” - furious, the leader of Pomefiore took a step forward and pointed to the door, his face red and with some blonde locks falling from his hairstyle irritating him even more. He dripped snake venom into every word he said, but when has a dragon died from snake venom?

“It is very bold to challenge the Prince of the Valley of Thorns, Schothein.” Stepping forward and coming directly face to face with Vil, he laughed elegantly with mischief in every note- "Don't worry, I won't spend any more time with you, I'll just hand you a gift."

With all the doors and windows closed, Malleus raises his hand and a green smoke with sharp thorns invades the Film Club, and with a simple look thorns wrap around Schoith bringing him close and totally paralyzed, the heir's malicious laugh grows ever louder. But before he recites a macabre ancient magic, in a language that not even Vil himself understood, Malleus's power was clear, shining in an electric green, with his scepter firing across the entire environment. When he finished his rush, Malleus passed his cloak over Vil's body, which was still frozen on the ground.

“You won't be able to talk to anyone about your curse. Send my regards to Yuu.” That said, he just left the club with a Machiavellian glint in his eyes.

As soon as the door closed, Vil managed to release the air he didn't know he was holding, the smoke and thorns were breaking apart and erasing the tracks as if they had never happened. When trying to get up, Vil realized how weak his beautiful and athletic body was but it was when his knee creaked that even standing up he was paralyzed. He looked at his shaking hands, recognizing the familiar hands with veins and wrinkles looking like an old, colorless raisin.

“No…no…not again!”

He ran to the mirror of a nearby dressing room, and his ugliness was so great that he broke the mirror. A fairy's gift is a dubious thing, but coming from Malleus, Vil can confirm his greatest fears in the mirror: He was old and magicless.

It must be raining.

You were just out in a storm. That’s all.

That would explain the crack of thunder that collided with your face and gave you a throbbing headache. The warm liquid blurring your vision and dripping out of your mouth and nose was just the rain, not some unholy mix of blood and tears. The chills that froze you where you stood was just humidity and the cold, not adrenaline and raw fear.

And yet, even with your desperate brain trying to come up with some reasonable explanation, the only thunderstorm you could see in front of you was a student you couldn’t recognise. Not with your head pounding like this. Not with the thunder in your ears.

There was something about the boy that scared you. That wasn’t uncommon - this school was full of terrifyingly promising mages. But the scariest thing wasn’t how he wielded his magical pen with deadly accuracy, or how strong he so evidently was.

It was just how much he seemed to be enjoying the mix of horror and pain, of blood and tears, that must have been so evidently and delicately splashed across your face.

His smile twisted as he raised pen again, something in those cruel eyes of his setting off alarm signals in your aching head.

“This’ll teach you not to meddle where you don’t belong.”

The pen glowed, pure magic surrounding it as he prepared to shoot. His sadistic eyes were alight with entertainment. He knew what he was about to do. He didn’t care.

You squeeze your eyes shut and braced for the lightning.

And then everything went black.

“Darling…“ Your boyfriend and the Pomefiore housewarden, Vil Schoenheit, knelt in front of you as you sat on the floor. His voice, normally so perfect and soothing was now strained and tense. Barely hidden traces of wrath seeped through his words as he gently tilted your chin to observe the bruises and blood on your face.

You had arrived not that long ago. Upon defending you from your assailant, Rook Hunt, Pomefiore’s vice housewarden had speedily brought you to Vil. After filling the housewarden in on the situation, one thing became abundantly clear to you:

Vil Schoenheit was ticked.

He pulled a phial full of green liquid out of his bag, not releasing the hand gently and delicately cupping your cheek. Unstopping the cork, he gently lifted it to your lips.

“Drink.” His voice was gentle, but firm. Tilting your head back, you slowly drank the potion. It had the taste of lime and the consistency of honey. Warmth began to flood through you as you drank. Slowly, miraculously, you felt the pain ease, and your cuts started to stitch back together. The bruises you had gained began to fade, and the pounding in your head relaxed. Bit by bit, the potion took effect.

Bit by bit, the storm’s damage was fading.

Vil reached back into his bag and pulled out some makeup removal wipes. Gently bringing your face closer to his, he delicately began clearing the blood away. His blonde hair framed his face perfectly as he worked, the purple ombré highlighting his matching eyes. Eyes normally filled with calm determination, a gentle storm of amethyst.

Now, however, they contained a different kind of storm.

A storm filled with conflict. A storm filled with both the desire to protect and the desire to avenge. One you knew would never hurt you. One you could get lost in, and know you were perfectly safe.

But, based on the way he was looking at you now, you weren’t so sure that the other boy would get off unscathed. You almost winced in sympathy for him.

Almost.

Vil quietly put the now empty potion bottle and used wipes back in his bag. He then turned to face you.

“Are you feeling all right? Any better than before?“ His eyes searched yours for any indication that you weren’t okay.

You gave a strained, tense smile. “I’m alright now. Thank you.”

His worries seemed to soothe a little, for a brief moment. Then, he cast his eyes towards the floor and mumbled a curse under his breath.

“I don’t know what that arrogant potato was thinking. If only I had been there, that fool would have significantly less to show for his impulsive idiocy…”

“Hey, it’s okay. I’m alright, see?“ You wiggle your fingers in his face for proof, his smile becoming more relaxed when he saw you were alright enough to be silly.

“Still,” he huffed, “that unintelligent potato should know better. Who was he, by the way?”

You shook your head. “I don’t know. I think I’ve seen him around before, but never learned his name.”

Vil studied you, as if trying to figure out whether you were trying to protect your assailant - the filthy potato that attacked you - or if you genuinely didn’t know.

“In any case, it doesn’t matter, right? Everything’s okay now. As long as he leaves me alone, that is, haha…” you scratched your head awkwardly and smiled. It was nowhere near the perfect, practised smile that Vil gave his audience, but to him it was personification of beauty itself.

To him, you were the fairest of them all.

And to you?

You pondered this as you smiled at his perfect features. He truely was the most beautiful person you’d ever seen. But your love for him wasn’t wrapped up in anything physical.

You simply loved him because of who he was. Flaws, insecurities and all. You loved the storm that he was - one that would always keep you safe, and never intentionally hurt you. The storm that would protect you as much as he was able. The one that had you dancing in and singing praises to the rain.

He smiled at you, wondering what thoughts were going through your head as he pulled you into a gentle, tight hug.

He was definitely going to ask Rook about that student. That potato would have to learn not to mess with you ever again.

After all, was it not the job of a ruler to protect those dear to them?

The sound of ice clashing with metal screamed through the air, ripping open your eyes in shock. A boy in black and green stood in front of you, his sword raised in a defensive position. His silver hair shone in the light, and you could see his eyes reflected in the blade he wielded with deadly expertise.

His concerned eyes met yours in the blade’s reflection.

His eyes.

You didn’t even know where to begin in describing them. Some argued they were light purple, others light blue. Everyone agreed on one thing, though. They were as dazzling as an aurora, shining with determination like a gem in the light.

“Are you alright, Prefect?”

“I-”

“Don’t you dare ignore me!” Your assailant fired two more spells in your direction. Your saviour, Silver, blocked them with ease, wielding his sword with surprising accuracy for someone who had been asleep less than five minutes ago.

Sheathing his sword, he pulled out his magical pen and raised it in self defence. “Excuse me, but I’m afraid I can’t let you hurt the prefect. You should leave now.”

Your assailant barked out a derisive laugh. “Like hell I will.”

“If you continue to try and hurt them, I will continue to protect them. I will not hold back. Make your choice.” His words weren’t loud, nor angry. He was offering your assailant a decision - walk away with his honour in tact, or accept the consequences of his actions.

There was something about Silver that had evidently unnerved your attacker. Whether it was the way he held himself, the way he spoke with such levelheadedness and determination, or maybe even just the way he wielded both his sword and his pen with such confidence, you didn’t know.

“This isn’t over.” He hissed at you as he wheeled around and stormed off.

You blinked. The storm was over almost as quickly as it had began.

You sank to the floor, dazed. Silver turned around and, seeing you on your knees, quickly started towards you. He knelt in front of you.

“Prefect. I am going to inspect and treat your injuries now. Do I have your permission?” He waited, his eyes searching yours for consent. When you nodded, he immediately reached for you.

His touch was gentle as he took your arms, turning them over to check for any major injuries. Upon finding nothing of note, he brushed your hair away to see the wound on your head clearer. After inspecting it tenderly, he gave a satisfied nod.

“The wound isn’t very deep. I could heal it now, or we could go to the nurse if you’d prefer?” He smiled at you gently and reassuringly.

“Um… could you do it please? If the others hear I’ve visited the nurse, they’d get worried, so…”

“Of course.” Lifting his pen, he gently tapped your forehead. You closed your eyes as you felt your cut knit together. The pounding in your head slow and stopped, and you breathed a sigh of relief.

Opening your eyes, you met Silver’s. He looked concerned, but offered you that soft, caring smile of his. You realised then just how close you both were, and that he was still holding your hand, rubbing comforting patterns into it with his thumb.

The reality of what had just happened started to set in, and tears pricked at your eyes, stinging almost as bad as the injuries had. Silver smiled at you sadly, and opened his arms silently, offering a hug. You quietly accepted. He held you tightly, rubbing your back and remaining a solid support for you.

He always was.

Silver always had kept an eye out for you during your time at NRC. You hoped he always would, his presence was a comfort and a strength during your hardest times.

He had always provided shelter from the storm.

He’d already released the poisoned gass and was about to strike when Jamil rescued them on the magic carpet, whisking them all to safty. Well, except me. I still stood there, shirt over my mouth trying to figure out if I should run or not.

“Rrrrrraaaaaaaaaagggggggggggggggg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Vil screeched at the top of his lungs. “Those incolent cowardes fools!! They shall not live after seeing me like this!! No one who sees me like this will live!!”

“Yeah….. I should probably go……” I thought, turning around.

“But, I might make an exception for you, Miss Yuu.” Vil's voice deepened as it carried to my ears, making me freeze in my tracks. I turned towards him, locking eyes with him when I came fully around. His dark look gave way to a smirk as he approached me, as I slowly backed up. I wasn’t really good at being all tough when people overblot, the reason why is because no matter what I know I’m completely helpless against them, so I couldn’t help but do what most antagonist x protagonist situations usually do. I back my stupid little ass right into a corner.

“My, my, my! Why so frightened my little potatoe? Have you finally realized my power now that I’m hideous and disformed?” His smile was a sickening evil sweet one as he looked down at the cornered pray, a.k.a. myself, with a unreadable glint in his violet eyes.

“I already knew you were powerful before this. I just didn’t care cause I knew you wouldn’t hurt me then.” I answered, swallowing as fear grew in my chest. How funny that I would one day fear my crush.

“And what about now?” He asked, bending more to my height, placing both hands on either side of my head. The fear in me grew as he did this, taking hold of my heart and making it beat so loud I swore he could hear it.

“I-I don’t- I don’t know.”

“hmhm, you are so cute when your scared.” His voice somehow softened as his cold gold claws ghosted my jaw and neck, finally resting on my shoulders. “It makes me want you more than I did in my weaker form.” My body stiffened as his warm breath kissed the side of my face.

“Vil…”

“Yes my queen?”

“Pl-please, stop. This isn’t you. These are not your thoughts it’s just the blot.” My voice cracked as I sank deeper into the corner. “Please for both are sakes.” My voice cracked again as I looked down to the floor. It hurts, somehow I’d grown feelings for him, and just like always, I kept them to myself because I feared rejection and the fact that he was way out of my league. These words that he spoke, each one drove a nail into my chest, hard sharp and precise with their aim. Nothing, no pain I’d ever felt had felt like this. Sharp and twisting mean and deadly, this was the pain of having the person you love telling you that they liked you when they were drunk, high, or not in their right mind.

“Its just the blot? Are you sure it’s just the blot my queen? Haven’t you ever heard that drunk talk is sober thoughts? Because this concept is the same in blot, blot talk is normal thoughts my dear girl.” He smirked devilishly down at me as his right hand ghosted my neck and jaw again before grabbing my jaw, the cold gold metal sending chills down my spine as he forced me to look up at him. “Do you really believe your own words, my beautiful queen?” He whispered the tips of his claws gently caressing my uper cheek.

My hand gripped the eage of my shirt, tighter and tighter with every word. And I thought Azul had a way with words….. But this!? This was just plain torcher! Abuse even! Well maybe… But can’t he- right he’s in blot……. Uggggg!!! Vil!!!! Just stop messing with my heart! Stop messing with my emotions!!! Please!!! I-I ahhh!!!!!!!

“Yes! Why would you ever call me queen and beautiful! You think I’m nothing but a hick from the sticks! I heard you say that Vil!! I heard you that night talking with Rook about how much of a disgrace I was to Pomefiore for even stepping foot in it! Why - why would you ever call me beautiful?! That’s how I know it’s just the blot you, Barbie doll!!!!” Hot tears streamed from my eyes as my composure broke into pieces. I hate people seeing me cry, but all I could do was cover my face with my hands as I tried to wrangle my feelings back in and thank Rook for getting me waterproof mascara and eyeliner. A minute of silence passed before he spoke again.

“Look at me, Yuu.” Vil's voice was stern and cold as he tugged my jaw upward. His grip tightened on my jaw when I didn’t obey him. “Miss Yuu, lower your hands.” His voice was now laced with frustrated anger, and this time, I obeyed him, lowering my hands to my chest and keeping them there. “Good girl.” He pured, sounding very much pleased with me.

“Vil, please just poison me and go.” I said, all emotion draining from me. He smirked.

“Oh trust me my queen, I will.” His smirk then faded replaced by a frown. “However before that I need you to believe me that I do want you. But it seems that you have convinced yourself that I don’t.” His face contained a unreadable expression. “Thus are the souls who are beautiful but can not believe it. Such a shame in deed.” He let go of my jaw but still looked down on me. “That night if you remember was almost half a year ago, my opinion has changed greatly since then, I have come to know you more, the girl that you are. Beauty is only skin deep for some people, for others, like you, beauty goes all the way to the bone. It’s not just your looks that are beautiful to me, your personality and quirkyness are also high on my list. Those things I was not aware about back then. Just like you weren’t aware of your crush on me.”

My stomach dropped as my eyes stared in horror.

“How did you-“

“Dear, I know by the way you act.” His eyes softened. “But I hope you know I’m not acting when I do this.”

Grabbing my face with both hands, he pulled it into his own, and my lips collided together with his in a kiss that I had never had before. It was so sweet and soft, bitter and hard, it was pure poison to us both, yet like with most poison, neither of us wanted to stop it. We wanted more. He started moving his lips, trying to get more of me than what he already had, and I him. My hands found their way to his hair, his glorious gorgeous gold and amathist colored hair, so smooth and soft to my inexperienced hands, like silk it was to them. My back became flush with the cold stone wall behind me as he tried to pushed himself further into my small frame, the crystals in his armor poking me dangerously near my stomach and liver but I didn’t care. I had his soft poisoned lips on mine. My first kiss. So poisones it made my stomach flip like a gymnast. But why would I care? No one ever cares about the after effects of something so dangerous.

“Vil…..” I couldn’t help saying his name. It was like my body acted on it’s own in that way. Having the feeling of his lips vibrate under mine with just his name, the feeling it gave me was so wonderfully undescribable.

“Yes my princess?” He pulled away, though are noses were only a inch apart. I just stared at him, even in this form he was still the most beautiful person I had ever seen, even though he drove me crazy.

“I love you Vil. The fairest one of them all.” I said looking at him directly in the eye. “Your so beautiful.” He studied me for a moment, his grip tightened on my back and waist as my eyes became droopy.

“I love you to my queen. But for now-,” He paused as my eyes stared to close. “Sleep my dear, when you wake up you will be mine, so rest while you can, I’ll go take care of those insolent cowards.”

“My body, I can’t feel it!” I looked up at him. “Crap! My eyes, the lids are so heavy….. I-I can’t, my mind….. so foggy….. Vil, w-what… h-have you…. Done to……” That’s when Yuu's thoughts stopped, her mind went black, and consciousness faded from her into nothing as the deadly poisoned queen went limp in her Kings arms. Vil carefully held her bridal style as he walked to NRC's dressing room and then laid her gently on one of the couches.

“Sweet dreams, my queen.” He murmured, brushing away some of her locks and kissing her gently on her forehead before leaving for his battle.

he sought out Ace and Deuce hoping maybe they could wake you up, which they did by blasting music, but before that they told him about your sleeping habits

He felt so bad, after all he couldn't imagine sleeping for years with no way to spend time with his friends

This makes him want to throw even more parties so you can spend as much time with everyone as possible

You both use this reason to guilt Jamil into letting you throw parties

He doesn't like that but he does enjoy when you use parties as a form of tutoring

If you tell him about the destiny you had back in your old world he would be very disappointed

He prefers this to always spending his time in his room

He likes his games and shows but it gets lonely fast when you don't have someone to share things with in person

Like if all these Yuu were in the same TWST Universe, who would do you think would fit if who?

This doesn’t seem like a long ask or anything so it’ll be easier for me to answer quickly and I also like talking about my opinions lol

But the Yuu that I definitely think fits the universe the best is either Prince!Yuu or any EAH!Yuu mostly because their concept was specifically written to fit in with the story of the villans so most of the canon writing is already there yk?

For Prince! Yuu I’m very much a sucker for Hero x Villain trope and on top of that the villains in Twisted Wonderland aren’t really “villains” as much as they are traumatized teenagers with powers. They aren’t written to do anything malicious or bad to someone at least not without reason and they always get the redemption the original villains didn’t get making it easier to sympathize with them and root for their happiness. And since the princes aren’t usually big playing pieces in some of the Disney movies you can kind of just put any personality to them without it combating canon

For the EAH!Yuu that’s kind of dependent on which character you put with who but overall the concept of EAH and TWST are exactly the same except EAH is more the female side and TWST is more the male side. I just like mixing and matching characters modeled after the same storybook together because it’s fun to have crossovers of different universes with the same concept just done differently. I also like to see how each of their individual knowledge of the OG story clash with each other. Like for TWST the Great Seven are people that once ruled their land or at least had large influence in it but are now dead, for EAH the “Great Seven” are well known storybook villains that are literally the PARENTS of the students, it’s like canonical multiverse and I love it.

I think either goes well but the one that I think would do better in a canonical sense of the series is probably Prince!Yuu. Thanks for the ask this was fun!

Tbh this is probably me just stereotyping bc they’re both of beast kin but hey that also means they’d probably understand a lot of unique struggles that most don’t. Shedding during the spring which needs to be constantly brushed to not leave fur everywhere. A large appetite for meat and disliking veggies. I also just think their contrasts can go well. Leona is usually very lazy, wanting to nap all day and sleep in the sun which has ended up affecting his grades, living a luxurious life has made him spoiled, meanwhile Cerise has been shunned by mankind leaving him to hide what he truly is just to keep him and his family safe, which also means he definitely had a more rough and rugged childhood, he has had to work for what he has and while he respects the fact that not everyone was raised that way I think he still expects others to learn basic functions of human life. Long way to say Leona’s attitude would not slide with Cerise. Cerise wouldn’t nag him about it but I feel like he would make it clear he wants someone who’s willing to put in effort for results, not just lie down and expect it. This alone influences Leona to put a little more work in his life to get the things he wants/needs because he really does admire his strength and since he sees him as an animal on the level of a lioness (huge honor btw) he wants to impress and please him because he really does want to make things work. He gives me a “I may annoy my husband half to death but if anyone else disrespected him I would kill” vibe

Ngl even I surprised myself with this one seeing as they come from amazingly different backgrounds. But as stated in the headcanons they also understand a level of isolation very few others could. Not even their closest friends would ever really be able to understand being completely shunned from the world because of what you look like and so it’s like a support for each other. They know that whatever problem they have or insecurity their partner will understand and can know how to help based on their own experience of coping mechanisms. I also think they can have a lot of fun with each other and see so many new things. Cerise is probably not a strong swimmer though she’s not necessarily weak it’s just not her forte and vice versa for Azul therefore they can help each other discover so many new things. Cerise and Azul can hike the mountains with a pack of wolves and learn how to appreciate nature and also how to respectfully use it to ones advantage through natural medicines and food maybe. They could also go on diving or boating adventures in the large sea with a school of fish and discover creatures they’ve never seen in person before, the art of aquatic camouflage and overall so many things neither would have experienced otherwise.

Tbh this is heavily because I like the idea of Kalim walking into any room and going like “Hello I’m the incredibly wealthy heir to the Al-Asim family name and this is my incredibly impoverished boyfriend that shot through a portal and I picked him up off the ground like a sack of potatoes and he’s mine now.” I honestly can’t tell if this is a balanced relationship or if this is just double babysitting duty for Jamil. I just don’t think he takes the thievery seriously cause he doesn’t understand the consequences it could have so he just kinda lets Aladdin go ham. The stealing tendency is before he had a rich bf, after he gets one then he slowly understands he’s not in danger 24/7 on the streets. Though they probably still have a game of it, Aladdin snatches something and if Kalim calls what it is he wins. This is more headcanony than my reasoning behind it, sorry. But it kinda feels like Aladdin and Jasmine just if Jasmine liked to party and was more laid back. There’s also a different perspective to bring into the relationship from Aladdin. Kalim hasn’t experienced the pain and loss of living on the streets, fighting everyday for even a piece of food while also trying to support the lives of children on the street. Aladdin would probably recommend donating to charities for impoverished communities and Kalim would do it in a heartbeat. This also gets Jamil to see Aladdin more positively than just another nuisance because he appreciates how he isn’t using Kalim’s riches for his own benefit even though he really could but is instead trying to use the relationship they have with one another to help others.

I think realistically a huge problem with any character he’s paired with is that they’re usually mortal, therefore they’ll die way before him (if he ever does). It’s perfect for angst but for a happy relationship not so much so this is definitely the way to go for long term happiness. On top of that I think Draculaura’s positive outlook on things really balances Malleus out’. Not that Malleus has a negative perspective but sometimes I feel like he has a hard time allowing himself to have fun or at least not try so hard to always maintain an image. He is an heir after all and there are expectations. Draculaura could really show him the simple pleasures of life. There are also things individually that when paired together are very complimentary for the foundation of their relationship. Malleus is a very ancient figure, one of the most powerful sorcerers in the world, and the heir to a throne. People could say he has everything but something tells me he’d give it all up for the chance at one real, true friend. Draculaura who’s lost his mother and bio father and has been forced to live 1600 years almost in complete solitude (minus Elizabat) and now would go to hell and back for his friends since they’re all he really has. In that way I think they kind of need each other. Draculaura puts a big emphasis on friendship in his life and sympathizes greatly with those who don’t have it because for him, it’s his whole life. Even being torn away from everything he knows he still wants to make friends because that’s how big a role platonic relationships play in his life. So he does everything he can to make Malleus understand that and squeeze his way into his little dragon heart because he’s been in Malleus’ position, and he doesn’t want that for himself or anyone else. Malleus is happy to have a friend who’s not his family or in it for some ulterior motive. It feels even better when they become something more because he truly never thought he’d find someone he loves so dearly that he can stay with forever. (Also someone who shares his love for gothic architecture)
