Help-
So, I started making a cosplay of Athena from Epic the Musical (based off Homer's the Odyssey) an hour and a half before leaving to go to Hamilton in theatre, and I'm continuing it now because I hate myself. I'm mainly using the amazing character design that mirscy came up with, but just to be clear every artist who put effort into Epic is awesome and have wonderful art styles. My problem is, I can't seem to find the reference pictures I'm looking for and it's driving me insane. Whoever is willing, could you help me by reblogging this and adding reference pictures or something? I don't want to be a bother it's just that this has become a hyper fixation and it's driving me insane.

The way that in the remastered version of Warrior of the Mind you can tell the “enlighten me what’s your name” is stressed, because so many people heard it as “you lied to me” in the first version-
Constantly burdened by the knowledge that Odysseus didn't have to kill Astyanax. Had him just brought him along for the journey back to Ithaca like he proposed in "the horse and the infant", the child would have 100% died anyway. Probably either drowned or starved, but at least an effort to keep him alive would have been made and Odysseus wouldn't have had to hurl that poor little boy down from the city walls.

I feel like most people’s first exposure to epic the musical was the Warrior of the mind POV TikToks/youtube shorts, right?

Interaction between Athena and Odysseus
In one of the future sagas I REALLY hope that we get an interaction between Odysseus and Athena that uses the softer Warrior of the mind riff, like the one used between her and Telemchus.And it takes some of the dialogue from the song Warrior of the Mind, but softer, showings the weight that was both on Odysseus and Athena from My Goodbye.
I really hope it happens as we know Mr Jalapeño loves using melodies and lyrics from past sagas to punch us in the gut. *Ahem* Polities being everywhere in every saga 😢

The end of Love in Paradise killed me like bro whyyyyyyy
This combined with the end of God Games, my heart just can't take it.
Morning after listening to the Wisdom Saga and I went back to WotM where Ody sings “ATHENA, BADASS IN THE ARENA” and couldn’t get the heavy emotional part of Love in Paradise where he screams her name again out of my head so now I can’t stop thinking about like
*Heavy emotional moment, somber music, the echoing words of all who have fallen surround Odysseus atop the cliff as he screams out.*
“ATHENA!!!”
*music stops. A sniffle.*
“Badass in the arena… 😔”
