ok but am i the only one who doesn’t completely despise cordelia and xander together… like they’re not my favorite ship on the show but… they had their moments
ok so i love buffy and the owl house and so my brain (beacuse my ability to draw and therefore make fanart is nonexistent) likes to combine the two and imagine the hexsquad dressing up as the charcters for halloween.
willow and hunter could be buffy and spike. (i mean you can’t tell me hunter wouldn’t love getting to dress all punk even if it took a minute to get used to)
luz and amity would be tara and willow (luz as tara and amity as willow , i mean under your spell from once more with feeling is LITERALLY them)
then comes my dilemma
who would gus be…?
xander?..giles?..oz??…wesley?!? i mean he wouldn’t be angel unless it was just him being dramatic which i can honestly see… i mean i feel like he would enjoy maybe being oz and then doing werewolf illusions..but i can also see him wanting to dress up in a full tweed suit and be giles (yet again for the dramatics.. plus sharing facts and knowledge is in character.)
and don’t worry i’m not forgetting about vee… i mean technically with shapeshifting she could literally be anyone but idk.. maybe dawn or anya? dawn would fit her personality better probably but i feel like anya would be cool just cause of the whole vengeance demon and basilisk sort of outcast and having people make wrong assumptions about them “parallel” (honestly vee’s personality is quite similar to tara)
eeh well ANYWAY i have no idea if anyone else watched both btvs and toh but oh well here’s a portion of my thoughts wether than make sense or not
does anyone else just kinda have their own “canon” to how things in tv shows and stuff went…?
like for example in btvs how xander will make some really..weird and just gross comments sometimes..that just doesn’t happen in the canon that i have in my head…yaknow?
also, things like that were a lot of the times whedon just being a weird and gross person and then it reflecting onto the show so there’s things like that that i just kinda consider out of character….
or things that just don’t make sense
like oz attacking tara…like wtf was that
the whole dating/cheating thing with willow and xander…uhh yeah no
ok but it’s so odd how chill willow and xander were about jesse being killed in the second episode and how xander was the one to “unintentionally” stake him..like kinda offing one of my best friends from the world would mess with me…like it literally cuts from like 1 minute after he dies to like the next day and to them all just laughing and chatting…

what the heck did they tell his parents…or just..anyone
kinda like how so many things just..happen in sunnydale especially at the school that people just kinda seem to push aside

i really don't like xander honestly he gets on my nerves and i can't really feel empathy for him. also i love cordelia
watching buffy the vampire slayer and im at the part in s3 (episodes 2/3) when she comes back and honestly i cannot believe these people. between Xander blaming her every time he opens his goddamn mouth, willow avoiding her, everyone ignoring her and overlooking the fact that she saved all of them before "disappearing" and is now back to continue protecting them, and her mother saying it's worse now that she's back i really do not get why they aren't making any effort to reconnect with her and tell her what they've been through and how they can work it out :( sure it's been incredibly hard on them while she was gone but it was hard on her too
the girl is 17 and has the weight of the world on her shoulders please cut her some slack my god

BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER SEASON 2
(Spoilers; just in case anybody hasn't watched it yet)
Buffy season 2 is just such a Rollercoaster of emotions (mostly in terms of Bangel)
First, we're like will they get together? Then they get together and we be like "YESS".
But then Spike tries to kill both of them and then there is this really emotional, heavy scene where they say they love each other and then Buffy says she's ready and they sleep together.
But then Angel (read: Angelus) wakes up and then starts killing people. Now Buffy and gang is confused and so is the audience. (I'm not sure about the timeline it's been long since I watched the show)
He starts killing people and his cruelty towards Buffy is just shocking cause aNgEL aCtiNG LiKe tHaT tOwaRDs bUfFy?!?!?!
Then you see Buffy suffering because this is the first time she slept with somebody and then he started killing randomly. We see her, we feel her.
(this is touched upon in season 4 again which is why this show is one of the best! The details people! DETAILS!)
Then we get to know about Angelus's curse. Now I felt bad but it made sense. Angelus was cruel. He was cursed with a soul and if he experienced a moment of true happiness then he would lose his soul. Then he spends the next 100 years as Angel trying to atone for his sins (I guess?). But the one moment he found happiness and it broke him
I don't know when this episode aired "I only have eyes for you"
But you have Buffy as James (best plot twist ever) and saying "You don't just wake up and stop loving somebody!" Which is literally what happened with Angel
And THEN he kills Jenny. Buffy realizes she HAS to kill him. (That episode was heartbreaking and also so twisted. Angelus is one kind of a villain!)
Then she has problems. Her mom found out about her slayerness, her friends were in danger, Giles was being tortured by Angelus, she has to team up with Spike to save the world because Angelus wanted to release hell (or something) AND she got kicked out of school.
Now she goes to kill Angelus and stop hell (cause that's her job as a slayer) and she gears up to fight. She's alone. She finds strength in herself and fights back and almost kills him but Willow decides to get Angel's soul back.
Now she's fucking torn because Angel doesn't remember anything but she has to kill him because killing him is the only way to stop hell. She takes a moment to herself and then kills him.
She leaves Sunnydale in the season finale.
This is the most emotionally tiring season yet I would watch it over and over BECAUSE OF the emotions portrayed. They don't make this kind of stuff now (maybe I haven't watched enough shows but there's a certain magic in this show which just can't be recreated)
