“Will you put me down!” Y/n screamed out laughing as Bucky threw her over his shoulder. Y/n guessed that he was taking her to either his or her room. He’d been gone on a mission for way longer than planned, and while on said mission all Bucky could think about was coming back to his girl.

“Nope.” he smirked, avoiding all the others watching his actions in the common room. Just completely focused on having Y/n in arms reach. Or closer.

“Why not!” she exclaimed, still laughing.

“Because.” Bucky shrugged, not really caring to give an answer as he adjusted her weight.

“I want an answer solider.” Y/n grunted at the shifting of her body Bucky had done. But she just started giggling again. “Bucky!”

“You’ve been busy.” he grumbled as he tried to open the door without losing his hold on her. Bucky knew he should’ve put her over his metal arms shoulder.

Y/n scoffed, amused with his answer. She wasn’t the only one. “So have you!”

“I know.” Bucky nodded, setting her down gently on his bed. He knew that the lack of time together wasn’t just on her. But being honest he mostly blamed Fury and Tony. For giving each of them so many missions. “I just- I want to spend time with you. That's all.”

Y/n smiled up at him standing before her at the end of his bed. Y/n reached out to pull him closer. “Well, good news for you. I want to spend time with you as well. I’ve missed you.”

“I’ve missed you too.” Bucky mirrored her smile, reaching out to hold her as well. Now they had time together, alone. And they're not going to waste a minute of it.

“How long till May get’s here?” Y/n asked laying on her side against peter’s chest on the couch.

“Should be soon.” Peter answered glancing at the clock. “Why?”

“I have something I want to ask the both of you.” Y/n told him nuzzling into his side and wrapping her arms tighter around his torso.

“What is it?” peter asked rubbing her back, curious as to what she’d have to ask him and Aunt May.

“I want to ask the two of you together.” she stated smiling at how his voice was holding back how curious she knew he was.

“Wha- Why won’t you just tell me?” Peter’s voice whined a bit. They always told eachother everything right away. Why wouldn’t she just tell him now.

“Cause I want to wait for May. It evolves her to.” Y/n explained trying not to laugh at her boyfriend.

Peter groaned throwing his head back against the back of the couch, staring up at the ceiling. “Now that’s all I’m gonna think about!”

Y/n giggled at his behavior. Peter’s not used to her withholding information from him. But what she wanted to ask the two involved both her boyfriend and his Aunt. So he’d have to wait.

The young couple tried to watch some TV, but Peter kept asking her to just tell him. Each time she told him he’d have to wait, laughing at his lack of patience. Luckily enough for him, May came home.

“Oh thank Go-Goodness!” peter yelled,changing the last word with a single look from his Aunt.

“Hi, May.” Y/n greeted May, all the while laughing at Peter’s reaction to his Aunt finally being home. Y/n moved to sit up on her own while Peter moved to also sit upright on the couch.

“Hello, Y/n and Peter?” May Greeted Y/n back, looking confused towards her nephew’s behavior.

“Now can you tell us?” Y/n turned to face Peter with raised eyebrows, amused and shocked. “What?” Peter asked not ashamed.

“She just got home. Why don’t we give her a minute.” Y/n suggested, trying to give May a mintue to relax.

“What’s wrong with him?” May asked pointing at her nephew as she came into the livingroom, sitting across from the pair in a chair.

Peter sat up fats at her question,pointing at Y/n. “She has been making me wait for 42 minutes!” 

“I wanted to ask the both of you something, together.” Y/n defended amused at her boyfriends’ actions.

With her words, Peter dramatically sighed falling back onto the couch next to Y/n. Both Y/n and May weren’t used to Peter being dramatic like this, but it was amusing.

“What’d you want to ask, sweetheart?” May spoke turning her attention to focus on the kind girl she had gotten to know over the last couple of years.

“My father is having a Christmas party. It’s just the Avengers and their families. I asked him if I could invite the two of you and he said he already planned on it.” Y/n told them smiling in hopes that May would say yes. 

“Can we go?” Peter asked after some silence.

“Yeah. we’d love to.” May nodded smiling.

Y/n’s face lit up at the fact that they would come. She was hoping that they would but she also would understand if they didn’t. Y/n knew from personal experience how intimidating her family could seem. “Yay! It’s casual, you both can even bring pajamas for later in the night as well. You both can sleepover as well.”

“Ok. Tell your father- Tony thank you for inviting us.” May thanked the very happy girl.

“I will.” she nodded with a big smile.

“Thanks, May.” Peter gave his Aunt a grateful look.

Peter stood up offering Y/n his hand, she took it and the two moved across the apartment towards Peter’s room. Before they completely entered his room Y/n stopped turning to look at may who was starting dinner. “Oh, Happy will be there too. Just FYI.” Y/n smirked at the blush that came across the older woman’s face.

“Hey!” Y/n greeted running over towards the doorway, greeting May and Peter as they walked in. Hugging the both of them happily. “I’m so glad you both could make it.”

“Yes. It’s great to have you here with us May, Peter.” tony came up behind his daughter, also greeting the two. SMiling, glad that they indeed decided to come tonight.

“Thank you for having us, Mr.Stark.” May thanked the billionaire for having them. It has been just her and Peter for so long and it has been nice and enjoyable. But this could be the start of a new tradition. A nice one. A family.

“Tony, Please.” he told her waving off formalities. May gave a nod before Tony lead her more into the room with everyone else.

“Come on. I want to show you something.” Y/n smiled excitedly grabbing Peter’s hand. Dragging him off to look at all the distractions.

As the night went on it just got more fun. Everyone was joking and laughing with eachother. It was a comfortable setting. Tony had hired some of the best chefs in New York to make a bunch of food for everyone. An it was all delusions. Everyone had at least one gift to open around the tree that night, curiosity of Tony and Pepper. So everyone gathered around the Christmas tree to open presents. After presents, they all got seated around to watch some holiday movies, with the fire crackling in the background.

Peter and Y/n were cuddled up next to eachother on the floor in front of one of the couches. Y/n was leaning back between Bucky’s legs and peter between Bucky and Clint’s legs. Unlike her father Y/n and Bucky had gotten really close, practically like siblings and Clint had always been like an Uncle since he met the girl. It’s the father in him. Y/n angled her head up to whisper in Peter’s ear. “My dad has given May her own room for the night, right next to Happy’s.”

“What about me?” Peter asked pulling her closer by the waist.

“Well, you already have your own room here but dad said you could stay in mine. With me.” Y/n whispered in his ear, trying to be discreet.

“Really?” Peter’s voice was a tone of shock. Normally Tony Was very strict with them. Y/n being his daughter and all Tony is a very protective dad. Pepper had been trying to get him to lighten up on the young couple and maybe he was or it is just a Christmas miracle.

“He said no funny business and he’d make sure friday tells him if there is. But there won’t be. He trusts us more than he lets on.” Y/n nuzzled into Peter’s side. “Plus we’d never do anything with this many people in the compound. We’re both to loud for that.” she whispered smirking against his neck.

“And we don’t need to hear that.” Clint bent down between the to whisper as well, teasing the young adults.

“Agreed. And if we do hear anything I’ll never let either of you live it down.” Bucky added him and Clint smirking at eachother. Both adults enjoy teasing them.

Y/n and Peter laughed despite the teasing from the pair. Y/n lightly hit Bucky in the leg and shoved Clint’s. But despite that, they were smiling. Peter mirrored her facial expression before pulling her in for a kiss. “Merry Christmas, Y/n.”

“Merry Christmas peter.” Y/n smiled pulling him into a kiss. Of course, Clint and Bucky were making kissing noises behind them quietly so no one would notice. At least they were being discrete about it. Which the two appreciated. It was a very merry and enjoyable Christmas.

“Hey, y/n. I need a favour.” Steve spoke as he walked over to his teammate in the living room.

“What is it Steve?” Y/n asked putting her laptop aside on the couch to give him her full attention.

“I have to go on a mission. Don't Know how long exactly I’ll be gone-” Steve started but got cut off before he could finish.

“He needs you to babysit tin-man.” Sam butted in from the kitchen.

“Sam-” Steve closed his eyes and sighed out in frustration.

“That's rude.” Y/n cut in. Reprimanding Sam before Steve could. Her and Bucky had been paired up for undercover missions a lot. So they had become somewhat close. “I'll watch out for him, for you.” Y/n smiled, turning her focus back to Captain America with a nodd.

“Thank you!” Steve smiled gratefully.

“No.” Bucky said with a glare.

“Buck.” Steve sighed

“I said no, Steve.” Bucky kept a firm tone and glare on his best friend.

“Why? Buck, you like her. Why is this a problem?” Steve let out a laugh mixed with a slight scoff. He knew deep down that his best friend was just nervous. Him and Y/n had done missions together, a ton of them in fact. But there was a mission to keep focused on for most of that time. This would be different. “I don’t need a babysitter.” Bucky scoffed, shaking his head. He crossed his arms over his chest in frustration.

“Don’t think of it as babysitting, think about it as just spending time with her.” Steve suggested letting his arms fall at his sides. All he wants is for Bucky to be happy, and Steve knows that involves Y/n. Steve lent forward resting his elbows on his knees looking at Bucky in the eyes. “Come on. You said you needed a way to talk to her. This is a good way for it to happen. I don’t even know how long I’ll be gone for.”

As much as Bucky truly did want to spend non-working time with Y/n and get to know her better. He is very nervous about spending so much alone time with her. After all he’s not his 40’s self anymore. “Fine.” Bucky gave in. He could make this work for him, right?

“Great. I leave tomorrow morning. So get ready to talk to your crush.” Steve smiled at his friend as he stood up to leave Bucky’s room. Patting his shoulder as he passed him.

Over the first couple of days it was awkward between y/n and Bucky. But it didn't take long for the both of them to warm up and for the awkwardness to fade. The two had gotten quite close. Hanging out 24/7.

“Hey, Bucky.” Y/n smiled as Bucky entered her room and moved to sit on her bed.

“Hi Y/n.” Buck smiled back as he sat down.

The two got comfortable on the bed and watched a couple of movies. After the second one ended both of their phones let off a bing to let them know they had a notification. Both Bucky and Y/n checked their phone only to see it was Tony texting about what was gonna be served as dinner tonight. Not what either one of them wanted it to be.

“Its been 3 weeks.” Y/n stated with a soft sad voice.

“I still don’t get why she’s allowed on the bus with the team?” One of the freshmen on the lacrosse team asked, out loud as they waited to board the team bus. “OW!” he winced as one of the older guys smacked him upside the head.

“Because she has straight A’s and she the Team captains girl.” The coach stated as he came to stand next to the team, he sent a wink Y/n’s way with a smile. It did help he is her uncle and all.

“Come on. Let’s get on the bus.” Brett pulled Y/n into his side before they turned to get on the bus.

“Are you excited for the game?” Y/n asked once everyone was settled and the bus was on the road.

“I guess” he shrugged sitting next to her.

“Brett…” she dragged out his name nudging him.

“I’m glad your with me, and that your coming.” Brett loled his head to the side readjusting his sitting position so his body faced her more and so he could comfortably lay his arm around her shoulders

“But”

“But, Beacon Hills High is where a nemesis of mine transferred to and he’s on the lacrosse team there.” he told her.

Y/n nodded, understanding better now that she knew that detail. “Well. I’ll be there so focus on that. Focus on me and cool yourself off if you get worked up. No glowing eyes.”

Brett smirked, leaning down to whisper in her ear. “I will.”

“What’s wrong now?” Stiles asked as he approached a cautious looking Scott. Once Stiles turned his attention towards where his best friend’s attention was, he could see why. Liam was talking to their opponents for tonight’s game, and it didn’t look like it was going very friendly.

“Oh shit.” Scott and Stiles rushed over upon seeing Liam clenching his hand so hard he started drawing blood.

“I paid for it!” Liam yelled as he was held back by Scott and Stiles beside him.

“Oh, your gonna pay for it.” Brett added almost taking a step further but Y/n stepped in front of him placing her hand on his chest. Which Brett took further and pulled her tight into his chest.

“I’m sorry gentlemen it seems Brett here forgot his manners when we got on the bus back home.” Y/n stated as she turned in front of Brett facing this Liam guy and his two older friends. “So I apologize for him. Let’s all just have a great good game tonight, yeah? Keep it clean.” she smiled at them hoping and trying to defuse the very tense situation.

“Couldn’t agree more.” Stiles smiled clapping his hands together. He could really like this girl he thought.

“Well, we’re going now. Nice meeting you.” Y/n nodded with a smile before elbowing Brett in the gut.

“Yeah, sure.” Brett mumbled in a tone you could tell was not genuine. Which earned him another, harder than the last one.

“Why does he have to constantly look over here?” Steve groaned, turning his head back forward. Throwing his sandwich down onto the table in frustration.

“Who?” Y/n raised a brow in question while taking a bite of her own sandwich.

“You know who.” he rolled his head to look at her, annoyance clear in his eyes.

“No, I honestly don’t.” Y/n laughed, shaking her head with wide eyes, finding her brother's attitude hilarious. “Who are you talking about?”

Y/n had a pretty good idea of who Steve was talking about. The two haven’t gotten along since he arrived in town. An Y/n blamed that on Steve’s ex-friends.

“Hargrove.” Steve rolled his eyes and mumbled out his last name.

Y/n scoffed. “Why do you let him bother you so much?”

Steve looked at her like she was crazy for even asking that question to him. “He’s a dick.”

“I would say he’s a womanizer maybe, but dick? I think Tommy’s a bigger dick if we’re judging.” Y/n smiled at him but it was her smile of knowing she was right in what she had just said.

“Maybe. But I still say Billy’s more of a dick.” he shrugged looking down again. Y/n knew it was because he knows she’s right. Y/ns always said that Tommy and Carol were bad news and a couple of assholes. Steve never listened and look what happened.

Y/n chuckled at his sour behavior. “Is it because he dethroned you?”

“What? No!” Steve sat up and reacted quickly and it made Y/n laugh.

“Just asking.” She lifted her shoulders and tilted her head to the side. It was hard to hide her smirk. “Look I got to get to class or I’ll be late. Try not to kill him, please.”

“No promises.” he grumbled watching her as Y/n headed off to class and out of the cafeteria . Soon everyone would be going off to class as well. What didn’t sit well with Steve was that he noticed out of the corner of his eye, Billy Hargrove keeping his eyes locked on Y/n.

While Steve was leaning against his car waiting for Y/n to finish up talking to her sciene partner. He noticed a certain pair of eyes watching her. “Got a problem, Hargrove?”

Billy smirked, blowing out his cigarette. “Nope. Just enjoying the view.”

Now Steve was fuming. He knows Billy would say anything to get under his skin, but he just can't help it. “What did you just say?”

Billy smirked watching Steve strut over towards him face red with furry. “I’m not afraid of you, Harrington.”

“Hess!” Dean Yelled storming over to Jess with anger.

“What do you want Dean?” Jess asked annoyed as he turned to face the tall brunnette.

“What are you doing around Y/n?” Dean asked fuming like a cartoon character.

Jess scoffed with a smirk. “That’s not any of your business.”

“I’m making it my business.” Dean scowled at Jess’s answer.

“Leave it alone forester.” Jess narrowed his eyes at Dean. This was none of his business.

“No.” Dean grabbed Jess’s shoulder and he went to walk away, and forcibly turned him back to face himself.

“Why do you care? Huh? Your dating Rory.” Jess fired back. He knew he was pushing Dean’s buttons. He always did, but it normally had to do with Rory. Why should he care about him and Y/n? He shouldn’t. An that pisses Jess off. “You know I see Lorelai and Rory every day at the diner. Should I tell one of them or both of them that you are jealous of me hanging out with Y/n? When you are with Rory? I didn’t think so.”

With those words said it was the last straw for Dean. He threw a punch into Jess’s face, giving him a solid right hook. Making Jess stumble back. Of course, that pissed Jess off so he tackled him. An of course a fight broke out. Which got a lot of people watching, and gathering around.

“Rory?” Y/n asked tilting her head to the side as the two stopped on the steps of the school. Watching the scene before them.

“Yeah, I see it.” Rory nodded, even though neither girl was looking at the other.

“Should we break them apart?” Y/n asked with a furrowed brow.

“Probably.” Rory nodded again, answering her friend. As both girls continued to watch their guys fight and roll around on the grass. But once they saw Dean get the upper hand and pinned Jess down with his knees. Dean started punching Jess over and over again with no mercy. They both took off to rush and break it up. “Ok, Yeah now.”

“What’s going on?” Y/n screamed once her and Rory pried the two boys apart, standing between them with their hands placed on their respective guy’s chests.

“He started it.” Dean pointed to Jess over Rory and Y/n’s heads. Face red from the fight and anger.

“Bullshit” Jess spit out his words with a shake of his head. He was pissed, he knows the guy hates him. But to put the blame of this all on him. That pissed Jess off. All he was doing was minding his own business, waiting for Y/n. Then Dean came up to him and tried to get him to fight. When that didn’t work, Dean started the fight himself. All about a girl that’s not even his.

“Let’s go Dean we have a test to study for.” Rory tugged on Dean’s jacket, trying to get the two boys separated even more. Like away from eachother in a couple miles radius.

Once Rory and Dean left, Y/n fully faced jess checking him for injuries. Jess sighed looking down while moving his hands to hold her hips. “I didn’t start it.”

“No! No! No!” y/n twisted and turned in her sleep.

“y/n wake up!.” Harry sat up with worry. Harry reached over and started shaking her to wake her up. After he shook her a little harder Y/n woke up. She sprung up into a sitting position, gasping for air.

“Your ok lass. You’re safe. I got you.” Harry spoke softly, pulling her back into his chest. Holding her and rocking her gently, trying to soothe her.

“I’m sorry I woke you up.” Y/n whispered after she had calmed down from her nightmare.

“Don’t mention it.” Harry shook his head. He didn’t care that she woke him up, he cared about her. “Are you ok? Do you want to talk about it?” he asked rubbing his hands up and down her arms trying to soothe her further.

“It was about my mother.” Y/n grimaced as she spoke of the evil woman. Not that the evil woman in her dreams who she grew up with was her real mother. No, she kidnapped her just like she did her mother before her, and for the same reasons. But Y/n was treated way worse than her mother ever was.

“Love, you’ll never be with her or in her presence again.” Harry promised, placing a kiss against the back of her head and then to her temple all the while tightening his hold on her.

“I know it was just...traumatizing.” She nodded slightly at his words. As much as she wished she could forget her childhood on the Isle. She can’t and it’s all because of that one word. Traumatizing.

“Which part wa sit this time?” he asked curiously. Harry always wished he could go back and find out or even press her further when he first thought something was happening to her. So he could have gotten her away from Gothel sooner.

“When I wouldn’t let her use me for the magic that I inherited from my true mom..” Y/n told him. Yes, her mom is Repunzel. Although her powers weren’t in her hair. No, Y/n had gotten similar powers that she could use with her mind. Because it wasn’t bad magic or evil powers they still worked on the Isle. They are pure and true. Much to her dismay for most of her childhood.

“The lashings” Harry guessed even though it was more of a statement. After he had gotten her out of Gothels clutches back on the Isle, they had gotten close. Harry saw all the scars that littered her body from the abuse and Y/n reluctantly told him how she got every single one of them.

“Hmmmhmmmm.” Y/n nodded with a hummed sound of agreement. She hated thinking back on those times. Her mother even had a hard time when they sat down and talked about their somewhat shared experiences growing up. (Once Y/n got to Aurardon of course) But the person she still trusted the most was Harry and part of that being he was the one to save her. Her own Flinn guess you could say. Bad boy turned good as she and her mom joked.

“She is never laying a hand on you again, lass. I promise you on my life.” Harry stated. He reminded her often that he would let no harm come to her ever again. A promise he planned to never break.
