i wish there were more like, impersonal whump prompts?

what i mean by that is like, most of the prompts i see are like, the whumper is someone who is going out of their way to torture whumpee. like it’s personal, ig.

and those are great but i would love to see more impersonal ones. like for example one of my MCs is a kid who was kidnapped and sold onto this boat with a bunch of other kids, and they’re all intended to be slaughtered and fed to the guests.

anyways my point is, the people on the ship are not trying to torture her. they are also not going out of their way to hurt and traumatize her specifically. idk. i’m having a hard time explaining it, but like impersonal whump prompts. is there anything like this???

heyyy, to all my questioning queer people tryna figure out their identities, consider this:

there is a big difference between what you ARE attracted to, and what you WANT to be attracted to.

what i mean by that is, let’s say for example that maybe you are a girl and you think you’re bi. you definitely feel attraction to girls, however you label yourself as bi because you think you would like to be in a relationship with a boy. but you aren’t actually attracted to boys. it’s just rather you like the idea of boys, maybe you even like some fictional ones, but you’re actually a lesbian.

that was just an example, idk, hopefully i got my point across ok. i just figured it might help some people to think about whether they’re attracted to a certain gender because they ARE or because they WANT to be. idk.
