regulus is a tutor at hogwarts - he was recommended by slughorn. james has been deeply in love with regulus for ??? but obviously that’s sirius’s baby brother so you know, classic jegulus shit.

james is good at school. his parents taught him well and he’s just naturally good at it, like sirius. but sUddenly james starts failing potions and needs a tutor. and who’s slughorn’s favorite potions student, who is years ahead in potions? regulus arcturus black.
