Summary: You and Noah Barnes have been bestfriends for year. And although you couldn’t lie to yourself and say you were never attracted to his older brother Bucky you had made a pact never to date him. This was never hard to do. You simply keep your distance. But now it’s Junior year and over the summer you might have changed a little bit, and this seems to be getting the boys attention. One in particular.

The ‘fight scene’ had become the entire schools main gossip.

    Of course it was mainly girls saying how hot they thought Bucky was when he was fighting Pietro.But it was also about you.

    Now whether you liked it or not everybody knew who you were.

    “Y/n, how are you?” Nat asked. Nat was one of the cheerleaders super popular and well you couldn’t tell at times if she was nice or just pretending. She always seemed to only show as much emotion as necessary which creeped you out.

    “I’m good Nat.” you state with a small smile.

    “You know I’m throwing a party! It’s going to be so much fun! You should totally come. It’s tonight at 7.” She states nodding at you.

    “Oh! I don’t know I think me and Noah were going to do something tonight.” you say

    “Well of course Noah is invited too.” she says you thought about it before looking over to see Noah, you swore you saw him drooling.

He had a crush on Nat since as long as you can remember. You never understood why, she was hot and there was no denying that. But she intimidated the heck out of everybody.

“I’ll talk to Noah. See what he says.” You say although you knew what his answer was going to be.

“Sounds good!” Nat says walking off.

YOu walked over to Noah who was still watching Nat.

“Gosh Noah Could you make your crush on her any more obvious?” you teast making Naoh scowl at you.

“You know one day she’s going to be totally into me.” Noah states making you just giggle.

“Well if you want she just invited me to one of her parties.” you say making Noah look at you wide eyed, “I told her I already had plans with you to which she stated that I could bring you.”

“No way!” Noah says you couldn’t help but smile at how excited he was.

“What are you yelling at now?” you and Noah turn to see Bucky getting something out of his locker.

“Y/n just got invited to Nat’s party!” Noah exclaims making you smile again.

“Oh did she now?” Bucky closed his locker turning to look at the two of you. His blue eyes met yours in a challenging way.

“Yeah I did.” you say proudly.

“Well you told her you wouldn’t be there right?” Bucky asks causing you to scowl at him.

“Why would I do that?” you asked making Bucky roll his eyes turning back to his locker.

“YOur not going Y/n.” Bucky states making your mouth drop open slightly. “Your going to go find Nat, and your going to tell her that you aren’t interested in her party. Than your going to walk away.”

You stood there looking over at Noah who looked confused yet defeated which made you a little angry, “Um and why would I do that?” you ask surprised by your own courage. Noah even looked surprised.

Bucky scoffed “Because Y/n, Nat isn’t the kind of person you hang out with. She’s not_ you just need to stay away from her.”

“Why because I’m not popular?”

“That’s not what I meant Y/n.”

“What are you going to be at this party?” Bucky goes straight faced, “you are aren’t you. And Heaven forbid that your geeky brother and nerdy best friend show up to a party where you’ll be at.”

“Y/n you know that’s not what I meant_”

    “I don’t want to hear it Buck. I’m going to that party. Can’t wait to see you there.” With that you turned around walking away leaving an annoyed Bucky behind you.

By the time the party came you had changed your outfit 4 times, your hairstyle 6 times, and your makeup look twice.

You never really went to parties, they normally weren’t your thing, but now you had motivation. 1) Noah was super excited to be invited to Nat’s party. And 2) you would be able to piss off James Buchanan Barnes.

Once you were ready you headed downstairs sending Noah a text.

“Hey mom I’m heading out okay! And remember that I’m probably going to be spending the night at Noah’s.” You yelled

“Alright sweety be safe!” Your mom yelled

When Noah pulled up you hopped into his car, and he drove you to the party. Every single TV show or Movie where a high schooler is throwing a party while their parents are out. Well this was exactly how it was, there were people dancing, drinking, and a few couples making out in their own space.

“Well I- I’m going to_” NOah looked around,

“Go find Nat. I’ll be fine.” you say. Noah nodded smiling at you.

“This is why your my best friend.”  Noah says disappearing into the crowd.

You start to look around. Feeling out of place, you walked over to the food table. Picking up a cup. You take a drink which burns going down your throat causing you to cough. Was it beer?

“WHat is that your first time drinking alcohol doll?” you turn to see Bucky standing beside you. You saw amusement and annoyance in his eyes.

“Well_ I mean I was going to try it sometime.” you say holding eye contact while you took another drink. You didn’t break eye contact.

“I told you not to come to this party.” Bucky states picking up his own cup.

“Well James, you are not the boss of me.” You state finishing off your first cup and going to your second. “SO I’m going to go and enjoy the party, how about you go do what you normally do, go find some girl to make out with.”

“Oh Y/n, this isn’t going to end well.” Bucky says shaking his head.

“I don’t care.” you say turning away. “It can’t be that bad.”

You quickly found out that you were a lightweight.

You had drank the first one when Bucky was there and that started to give you a buzz but once you finished the second drink you definitely weren’t yourself. You felt loopy and a little silly.

“Oh! Excuse me sorry.” You say turning around to see the stair post. “Oh your just a stair post,”

Soon you walked over to the dance floor.

“Oh hey I L-O-V-E dancing!” You yell as you start to dance, soon Noah walked over to you, “NOAH are you going to dance with me?” you ask making Noah laugh a little.

“Yeah sure Y/n I’ll dance with you.” Noah says as you two start dancing. Well more of jumping around but still you two were both laughing, until NOah saw Nat. “Go get her Noah.” you state.

You continued to dance, “Hey Y/n.” you turn to see Sam standing behind you.

“Sam! Why are you here?” You ask as you continue to dance although you were starting to get dizzy.

“Well just wanted to come check on you.” he states making you smile.

“I’m fine just dancing,” You say looking around to see Bucky watching you, there was a girl who was trying to get his attention but he wasn’t paying any attention to her.

“Well Sam, I need to go pee!” you yell making Sam laugh.

“Alright Y/n you go do that.”

“I will.” You say turning to go to the bathroom. Once you came back out you walked over and grabbed another cup.

“Hey Y/n.” You turn to see Tony behind you.

“Hey Tony!” You yell, although the music wasn’t loud where you were standing. You stumble forward a little taking a drink.

“Are you alright Y/n?” Tony asks making you nod,

“This is my first time having beer!” You exclaim, stumbling forward again. This time Tony’s hands came up to steady you.

“What are you doing Stark?” you hear the deep rough voice and you roll your eyes taking another drink.

“Um nothing she was just falling I didn’t want her to fall.” You turn to see Bucky standing there his gaze not leaving you. “I’ll just go now.”

Once Tony was gone you started to stumble forward to walk away, until a hand grabbed your upper arm.

“Y/n, I think it’s time I take you home.” you turn to Bucky and shake your head.

“I don’t want to go home James, I want to stay here, and I want to party.” you raise your cup to take another drink although soon it was hit out of your hands, you stare at the cup on the ground for a minute. “Why did you do that?”

“Y/n you’re already drunk! If your mom saw you she’d kill me!” Bucky exclaims,

“Your not the boss of me James! I just want to have some fun!” you say pulling away from him, you pulled your arm away too hard causing yourself to lose your balance.

“Y/n!” was all you heard before you blacked out.

Imagine Ginny greeted Harry after he came back home from work and realized that he smells slightly different along with his shirt. ‘‘did you change your shirt, Harry?’‘ asked Ginny. Harry looked away for a moment and awkwardly answered ‘‘Oh..er Yea I did ‘‘

Ginny just stared at him as she was suspecting something but stopped after Harry made up an excuse saying he spilled his coffee on himself by accident. Then Ginny just let out a laugh and everything was fine until Albus came into the living room and destroy the peace with just one line.
