It's getting better . . . right?
A (very) brief look into how Damian’s life with the League was.

I'm confused (Part 3)
Damian wanted to spend the whole afternoon in the shower. He wanted to forget everything.
He needed a break.
The past few weeks have been a whirlwind of emotions for him. Everything was so confusing.
It was too much.
Although his brothers were becoming more tolerant towards him. It still felt forced.
And to make it worse, things were only getting worse at school.
Today was a good example of that.
His peers usually ridiculed him in private. Somewhere they couldn’t get caught.
They’ve never mocked him in such a public space before. Especially not a public space where adults could return at any time.
It was different.
Damian hates how he allows his mind to wonder how the outcome might’ve been different. If the librarian walked in on what they were doing to Damian, would she have tried to stop it?
Or would she just turn a blind eye?
He hoped that it wasn’t the latter. The librarian was one of the only adults in the facility that Damian could somewhat tolerate.
Out of nowhere, he felt the water become hotter and cursed.
It felt like he was back in the League and they were throwing lava at him again. He was supposed to learn two lessons during that exercise.
One: Learn how to withstand the heat.
If Damian could survive being pelted with lava, he could survive or at least tolerate any high temperature.
And if he got gravely injured or didn’t survive during the lesson? Well, there’s a reason that they had the Lazarus pit.
Any burns or scars that Damian had would dissolve. As if they never existed. It was the one thing he liked about the pit.
Without it, Damian’s whole body would be littered with scars. From the intense training sessions, he’s gone through to the punishments that he has suffered from. Scars were something that he was accustomed to.
Two: Learn how to dodge
If he didn’t want his skin to burnt because of the lava, then he better evade the numerous attacks. It didn’t matter if Damian got hit: there was a sequence on how they launched it. And they wouldn’t stop until all the gallons of lava were empty.
All the injuries that Damian received during that training session might’ve brought him a lot of pain, but it worked.
In the end, Damian believes that the torment that he had gone through was worth it because he had acquired something from it.
He could only hope that it would be the same here.
—————————————————————
Getting out of the shower was harder than Damian thought it would be. He had quickly gotten used to the boiling drops that crashed onto his skin and instantly accepted the pain.
He deserved it after all.
After a few minutes of staring at his sunken reflection, he forced himself to go back to his room.
He didn’t expect to see his siblings lounging around like they owned the place.
Damian hesitated, not knowing what to do.
“Do you guys require my assistance?”
All three heads immediately turned towards him and Grayson’s smile brightened.
“Hey baby-bat.” he greeted, “Any plans today?”
Why do they keep asking that? What do they want from me?
Damian slowly nodded, “Actually,” he lied. “I do.”
The dark-headed trio glanced at each other and Todd raised an eyebrow, “Are you sure?”
No
“Yes.”
He wants to stay home.
“So you aren’t lying?”
He is.
Damian forced a scowl on his face, “No, I’m not.”
The older bat kept pushing, “Are you positive?”
Damian kept a straight face, trying not to let his annoyance show. “Definitely,” he walked forward avoiding the spots where his brothers resided, and crossed his arms. “You guys can leave now.”
Drake walked towards him and Damian had to force himself not to flinch.
Please don’t punish me. I didn’t do anything wrong.
“So you wouldn’t mind telling us what your plans are?”
Damian raised an eyebrow, “I don’t need to tell you anything. It’s none of your business.”
Why can’t they just leave me alone?
“We just want to get to know you better, baby-bat.” Grayson gently assured. “You’ve been here for around a year and we barely know you.”
Damian tutted, “And who’s fault is that exactly?”
His. It was his fault.
Damian knew that it was his fault that no one wanted to get to know him. He was the unwanted one. The one no one expected.
He was an Al Ghul.
A murderer.
He has so much blood in between his fingers and he hasn’t even reached the age of eighteen.
Drake scoffed, “You didn’t exactly make it easy for us to get to know you.”
Of course, he’s right. Drake is always right.
“And am I supposed to care about that?” Damian retorted, “I don’t need plebeians like you to understand me. People like you aren’t-”
“Damian.” Grayson’s stern voice cut through the room like a whip. “Enough.”
“But he was- I didn’t-“ Damian’s voice sounded pitiful in his ears. “Drake was the one who started it.”
The teen scowled at him, narrowing his eyes at Damian. “Why am I not surprised that you’re shifting the blame to me?”
“I’m not shifting the blame towards anyone!” Damian screamed in frustration, trying to get his brothers to understand. “I'm telling the truth!”
The emotions that trashed inside of him for weeks have finally begun to still. As if even they’ve grown tired of trying to figure everything out.
Nothing made sense anymore.
One moment, his brother would act like how his mother would describe a family. Caring, loyal, and loving.
Then the next, they would remind Damian of how the League treated him. Cold, worthless, and unworthy.
Weren’t they supposed to be the good guys?
“What’s going on here?”
Damian turned and saw his father’s muscular frame towering over the door. The tone of his voice was calm, but Damian could see how his blue eyes seemed to rage, demanding for answers.
Damian forced his face to become neutral as he tried to explain the situation. “Father, I was ju-”
“You know, the usual.” Drake interrupted him, “The demon child acting like a brat, throwing his weight around like he owns the place.”
“I was not-”
“Damian.” his father’s voice was coated in the familiar intonation that Damian could never recognize. Was it disgust? Annoyance? Anger? A mix of all? “We’ve talked about this.”
No, they haven’t.
His father barely acknowledged Damian unless he was reporting a mission, or if he did something wrong. Sadly, it was mostly the latter.
If it wasn’t for all the training that Damian’s received, he would’ve flinched from the way his father looked at him. His gaze was filled with disgust. As if Damian was nothing but a piece of gum stuck in his shoe that he couldn’t remove.
As if he was a burden.
But isn’t that what he was?
His father gave him a final glance, “I’m benching you from being Robin until we get this attitude of yours under control.”
He heard someone mutter an “If that’s even possible.”
When Damian heard his father’s footsteps become inaudible, he forced his head up.
From the corner of his eye, he saw Grayson dragging Drake out of Damian’s room. When their eyes met, the oldest Wayne only sighed before shaking his head at Damian.
He knew Grayson well enough to know what his I-am-very-disappointed-in-you looked like.
“You should apologize.”
“What?”
“Apologize,” Todd slowly repeated, as if he was talking to a child. “You should apologize to Tim.”
“Why would I need to apologize for something that wasn’t my fault.”
Todd shut his eyes and clenched his fists before walking past Damian, muttering to himself.
“I knew we shouldn’t-”
“-bothered to try.”
“-deserved everything that happened-”
That was the last thing Damian heard before he heard his door slam shut.
Suddenly, the events of the night have finally plummeted itself towards Damian’s head.
No more Robin.
Damian felt his chest tighten and his heart seemed to race at speeds that could rival the Flash. Everything around began to spin and he couldn’t help but let out a small, frightened breath.
What was wrong with him?
His feet seemed to tremble and he fell on the floor. The room began to heat up.
The sun was against him. It was like all it wanted to do was burn Damian’s skin until there was nothing left.
Was he sweating?
Damian was definitely sweating. Why was he sweating? It’s the middle of Winter.
He couldn’t breathe.
Is he going to die?
He didn’t even get a chance to prove himself to his father.
Though, his mind couldn’t help but contemplate the possible scenarios of when they find him in the middle of his room, dead.
Would his father cry? Or would he just be relieved? Relieved at the fact that he didn’t have to watch over Damian anymore. Would they be happy that the Wayne family was finally back to being normal? Now that the smudge of brown was gone from their picture-perfect portrait.
“Calm down.” He heard a calming voice mutter, “Deep breaths.”
“Ummi?” Damian’s voice sounded muffled as his vision began to fade into the darkness, “Are you taking me home?”
A silhouette bent down to give Damian an embrace.
He didn’t feel anything but he still heard his ummi’s voice. “Deep breaths,” she repeated.
Damian forced himself to focus on the light as he followed the instructions. He couldn’t fail his ummi. She was the only one who ever loved him for him.
In
Out
His head began to ease up. The pain was slowly going away.
In
Out
He could feel his legs, it no longer felt like a mountain was on top of them.
In
Out
His vision slowly cleared up. He could see shapes begin to form as the light steadily took over the darkness.
He was going to be okay.
“Ummi?” his voice cracked.
There wasn’t anyone there.
He felt tears form on the corner of his eyes, but he refused to let them fall.
If he cried, it meant that Damian was weak. That he was useless. And he wasn’t.
Right?
His brothers probably hate him again because of his stupid little outburst. He was so stupid.
His father banned him from being Robin, so he probably won’t be able to see his teammates for the time being.
Why couldn’t he just keep his mouth shut?
He was all alone again.
He didn’t have enough energy to move to his bed, so he hugged his knees closer to his chest as he tried his hardest to keep his tears at bay.
Everything was back to normal.
Note:
(Damian’s emotions have been building up for quite a while now. He’s confused and frustrated. A dangerous combination for someone who wasn’t allowed to express how he felt throughout the beginning of his life.
And from my experience, it’s the smallest things that just make a person break. So when Damian was blamed for something that wasn’t his fault, he just lashed out.
Sorry for the lack of updates from the past two weeks. School sucks. It’s like my teachers barely give me any work throughout the school year just so they could dump everything in May.
Hopefully, this chapter didn’t disappoint you guys too badly. And if it did, give me some nice constructive criticism in the comments. I love reading them, no matter how harsh.)

Chapter 11
For the first time in a while, Marinette was happy. She felt like she was in heaven.
Ever since Xavier came into her life, she just felt free. While she was with him, she didn’t have to be the perfect student that had to drop everything just to help her friends nor did she have to be the perfect superheroine who had to save the day.
She was just Marinette. And he was okay with that.
Tikki’s mood has also gotten lighter. She was happy that Marinette had finally gotten over Adrien. Hopefully, Master Fu would get rid of that cat’s miraculous soon. Because everything escalates.
Marinette heard a crash. It was soon followed by a lot of screaming.
She knew that an akuma attack was happening. She muttered, “I knew everything was getting too calm. TIKKI, SPOTS ON!”
Ladybug was scanning the area. She knew that Chat Noir wouldn’t show up until later. When her eyes landed on the akuma, she noticed that the akuma was covered with silver glitter. “So this is a knock-off version of Style Queen” she muttered. “Except instead of gold, it’s silver.”
“MY NAME IS SILVER GLITTER!” the akuma yelled, “AND I WILL TURN PARIS INTO MY GLITTERY PLAYGROUND.”
“How creative.” Ladybug rolled her eyes, “Lucky charm.”
Looking around, Ladybug knew what she was supposed to do. The akuma was beaten in record time.
Paris was covered in glitter and she shuddered. Glitter was a bitch when it was time to clean up. It got all over the place. “MIRACULOUS LADYBUG!”
The magical ladybug fixed everything up, thankfully getting rid of all the glitter as well.
Ladybug couldn’t help but smile. Without that cat, akumas were getting easier to beat.
She felt someone land behind her and her mood suddenly dampened.
“Hey, m’lady.” he purred.
“Chat,” she acknowledged, trying to look for a way to get out of there as soon as she could. “The akumas been defeated. What are you doing here?”
He gave Ladybug a smirk that made shivers run up her spine. “Can’t I visit my favorite little bug?”
“Don’t call me that.” she snapped.
He raised an eyebrow, stepping towards her. “Little bug.” he taunted.
“Stop it.” She tried to firmly say. “Since you’re here, why don’t we talk about the fact that you’re barely helping with the akumas anymore.”
“You should know that shifting the attention away from you won’t work.” his eyes glinted with amusement. “But if you must know, it’s because a certain bug won’t accept her feelings for me.” his dangerous green eyes stared at hers, “Do you know how much it hurts? I know that she loves me but for some reason. She. Just. Won’t. Admit. It.”
Ladybug flinched, “What part of I don’t like you like that do you not understand?” she tried to explain. “No means no.”
Chat only laughed. “If I stuck with that rule, I wouldn’t be able to get whatever I wanted.” Ladybug didn’t know what to say, so the cat continued. “Trust me, bugaboo. I will get you to confess your feelings for me. One way or another.”
“That’ll never happen.”
His lips curl up into a snide smirk, giving her a final glance before turning away. “We’ll see. But until you finally open your eyes and admit that you like me, well-” his eyes scanned Paris. “Good luck fighting the akumas without me, m’lady.”
After Chat Noir left, Ladybug allowed herself to collapse in shock. She couldn't hear anything but the last sentence he said to her.
“until you finally open your eyes and admit that you like me”
“I will get you to confess your feelings for me. One way or another.”
“Good luck fighting the akumas without me, m’lady.”
“If I stuck with that rule, I wouldn’t be able to get whatever I wanted.”
“One way or another.”
“-YBUG!” she heard someone scream. “Holy crap, are you okay?”
She quickly recognized the voice. It was Alya. “Yeah,” she sighed. “I’m fine.”
Alya didn’t seem to look like she believed the heroine, “You sure?”
She couldn’t meet her friend’s eyes, “Alya, were you on live?” she asked in shock.
Alya shook her head. “No, but I caught everything on video.”
Ladybug bit her lip, contemplating her options. “Can you do me a favor and not post it yet please.”
“But, why?” her friend argued. “We should expose him as soon as we can. What he did was harassme-”
“I know what he’s doing” Ladybug interrupted, “Just don’t post it yet, please. I have a plan.”
“Fine.” the reporter relented. “But I will expose him. You don’t deserve that treatment.”
“Thank you.” Ladybug sent a small smile to her friend. “I’ll meet you at your house tonight?”
Alya nodded in agreement.
“Okay. With a final sigh, Ladybug got her yoyo ready. ”Bug out.”

Deleted scene:
XY had to be dreaming.
Or he probably died and went to heaven. Those were the only two explanations on why everything felt so perfect at the moment.
Right now, XY and Marinette were facetiming. It was supposed to be a professional call, where they discussed the designs for his music video. But somehow, they always managed to get off track.
They’ve been talking for hours.
Even though the two of them led fairly busy lives, it seemed like they always had time to call each other. No matter how late it was.
Their sleep schedule was messed up but it was worth it.
XY turned his attention back to his phone. Marinette was currently sketching the final products of the design they chose.
He was excited but she wouldn’t let him see it, no matter how much he begged. “Please.” he tried again, “Just a little peak?”
Marinette let out the cutest giggle XY had ever heard and playfully glared at him, “You’re gonna see it tomorrow.” she reminded him, “We’re finally able to meet up, remember?”
XY did remember. He was so excited when he found out that they were both free at the same time. “But I wanna see it now.”
“You are definitely not a patient person,” Marinette jokes.
“How dare you?” XY mockingly said, “We’re breaking up.”
Marinette laughed, “We can’t break up if we’re not together yet.”
“Yet.” XY winked, “We’re not together yet.”

I'm confused (Part 2)
As Damian stepped onto the school grounds, he couldn’t help but feel a small amount of relief.
It was like school was the only place where nothing changed. Everyone treated him the same way they’ve always treated him before.
Even though Damian chose to listen to his heart, he still struggled to accept the fact that people cared for him.
The school was the only place of normalcy he had left.
Suddenly, Damian felt someone push him against a brick wall, driving him down on his knees.
He embraced the pain that he was feeling.
You wanted this.
You deserve this.
His face was forced upwards, causing his eyes to meet his tormentors.
Damian immediately noticed the face of the guy who pushed him.
Max Thornwell.
The guy was Damian’s age, 15 years old, yet he towered over Damian with a few inches.
The guy was adequate-looking. There was nothing special about him, blonde hair, brown eyes, and lean-ish build. But, the guy walked with the confidence of Superman. Like he ruled the school and no one could take the throne away from him.
Damian hated him but he didn’t say anything. He didn’t want to make the situation worse.
If he did, he would get in trouble again. And his father would send him the disappointed look that made Damian feel worthless. Then someone would make a comment about how he isn’t fit to be Robin anymore.
Damian needed to be Robin.
The feeling of freedom he felt when he put on the costume made him smile with glee.
If Damian believed in Greek mythology, Robin would be the string of his life. Take Robin away from him and he would be gone. Like a turtle retreating in his shell.
Without Robin, Damian would be a nobody with a family of somebodies.
He would be the shadow that no one notices. The one that everyone forgets. They would only realize he was there when they needed something. Or when they had a comment to make that’ll chip away the small amount of confidence he had left.
“Look at me when I’m talking to you, Wayne.” Max’s voice snarled, “Don’t tell me that you’re a pussy as well.” A cruel smirk settled in the blonde’s face as he heard the laughter of his peers echoing around him.
He kicked Damian in the stomach, causing the boy to wheeze in pain in front of the unexpected attack.
The laughter only got louder.
Tears began to form in his eyes but he refused to let them fall.
He would not cry in front of them.
Max leaned in, whispering in Damian’s ear so only he could hear what the boy was saying. “Don’t you think it’s sad that no one is defending you? Never forget the fact that no one likes you. The fact that one loves you.” he roughly shoved Damian’s shoulder, “Remember your place.”
Damian gritted his teeth. His body ached all over and it was like the headache he got a week ago came back.
He forced himself to reach for his backpack, only for someone to grab it right before his hand could even touch it.
His green eyes met cold blue ones.
Michelle Chuxtre.
Damian didn’t know much about her. But he heard many people comment about how “hot” or how “fine” she is. He guessed that she was one of those popular kids, meaning that she was probably there to have her fun at tormenting Damian.
As Damian stared at her, he understood how people could call her pretty. Her features would fit the beauty standard— blue eyes, dirty blonde hair, and a slim figure- but the mocking smirk she wore on her face made Damian feel uneasy.
It didn’t help that her eyes seemed to glint maliciously as she studied him.
She quickly glanced at the dirty backpack she was holding and her smirk only grew wider. “What are you hiding here?” she sarcastically asked, unzipping his backpack.
Damian winced, seeing all of his supplies fall on the ground.
She looked pleased with his reaction, stepping towards him, her shoe landing on one of his notebooks. “You understand why I had to do that right?” her voice was sympathetic as if she was actually sorry for her actions. “I just had to make sure you weren’t going to bomb the school or anything.”
Damian understood the implications of her sentence. She made it obvious enough so that the people around him understood it too.
Once Michelle left, the people around him soon followed. Their entertainment was done for the morning.
Even though Damian admitted that he was relieved at the fact that everything at school stayed the same, he couldn’t help but want to let a few tears fall.
You wanted this, he reminded himself, this is your fault.
As Damian struggled to get up, he noticed someone holding their hand out to him. He studied that hand for a few seconds before realizing that she wanted to help him up.
It’s probably a trick, his head supplied, she’ll probably push you back down.
Damian assumed that his head was right, so he accepted her hand wanting to get everything over with so that he could get to his classes. The girl pulled him up, kneeling and picking up the dropped objects from the ground.
He looked at her with confusion, “What are you doing?”
“Helping you.”
His voice faltered, “But why?”
She froze and turned to him.
It was the first time that Damian saw her face properly. She was new. The girl was no doubt Filipino. She had the trademark dark brown hair that glowed in the sun. Though, he could see that she had blonde highlights as well. Her eyes were the same as her hair. At first glance, you would believe that they were black yet in the sun, they were a beautiful golden color. She also had the same tone of skin as him.
Judging by the uniform she was wearing, she was going to be attending school with him. Meaning that they would be the only two people that weren’t white in the building.
“Because you needed help.” the girl firmly said. “Are you alright?”
“Yeah,” he winced in pain as he tried to walk, “I’m used to it.”
I asked for it.
“That’s not something you should get used to,” she firmly said, handing him the dirty backpack.
“Thank you.” He muttered softly.
“You’re welcome.” The dark-haired girl gave him a bright smile, “I’m Auda. Auda Arison.”
He returned it with a hesitant smile, “I’m Damian.” he repeated her gesture. “Damian Wayne.”
“Well, it’s nice to meet you Damian.” she looked around, realizing that there wasn’t another person in sight. “Since there’s no one else here, can you show me where the office is?”
Damian only nodded, walking forward as he gestured for the Filipino to follow him.
As they walked in, eyes seemed to follow them. Damian ignored them, used to people watching and silently critiquing his every move.
His eyes glanced at the girl walking beside him and she seemed deep in thought. She probably wasn’t aware of the eyes watching her.
They walked to the office in comfortable silence.
“Thank you”. she said when they arrived at the front.
“You’re welcome.” With those final words, he walked away, not bothering to give the girl a second glance.
—
Lunch was Damian’s least favorite part of the school day. He had no friends, so he had no one to sit with
And there was always a chance that someone would accidentally spill their food and beverage over him.
Damian wondered how his family would react if they found out what the kids in the school were doing.
Would they care?
Damian likes to think so.
But, his brain told him, they probably don’t.
Why can’t you just shut up for once? His heart complained.
Because you guys are acting stupid. It insisted. They don’t care. And they don’t!
Yes, they do!
No, they don’t.
Yes, they do!
No-
Yes!
His brain sighed, They only act as they care. It’s probably another scheme for them to humiliate and hurt you.
You’re wrong. His heart argued.
I hope so. His head resigned, I really do.
Damian’s back slumped against the wall, unable to focus on the book he was reading.
Did he make the wrong choice when he gave his brothers a chance?
Hopefully not.
He liked hanging out with them. He liked how they included him in things. And he liked how they don’t only talk to each other, so he could get insulted.
Damian felt someone grab the book from his hand.
What the-
Laughter echoed around the room as he felt water drip into his shirt. He shot up from his chair, trying to figure out what just happened.
His eyes analyzed the room. The librarian was gone and a crowd of 6 people was crowding him.
He notices that Max was holding his book, flipping through the pages before throwing it to one of his friends.
“Are you planning on bombing the school or something?” Max taunted him.
Damian rolled his eyes, “No. That book was just in Arabic” he couldn’t help but spit it out.
Max only smirked, “So the little terrorist finally started to talk.”
Damian tried not to flinch.
No fights. He reminded himself. Father will take Robin away.
Damian took a step back, hoping that Max would see it as him giving up.
It worked.
The boy’s face stretched into a victorious grin. “For a Wayne, you sure are pathetic.”
Someone held Damian’s arms so that he couldn’t run as Max walked slowly forward.
Like a predator stalking his prey.
Damian didn’t know what to do. He couldn’t just break away from his peer’s grip. But if he stayed, he would be left at Max’s mercy.
He scared Damian in a way that no villain ever could.
When Damian fought a criminal, he usually knew what the outcome would be. He would either live or he would die.
And he was fine with that.
But socializing?
It wasn’t his territory.
Damian was created to be a perfect clone of Batman. He was raised to be a warrior. He was raised to fight.
To kill.
Damian didn’t know how to interact with people properly. He only somewhat understands social cues when it comes to manipulation. But when he opens his mouth, he would have no filter.
And why should he?
That’s how he was raised.
And he was trying so hard to change.
In galas, he could put on the act that people wanted to see.
He would be Damian Wayne, the adorable, intelligent, charming, heartthrob son of Bruce Wayne.
He would play it nice, entertain the ones older than him with his vibrant eyes and appealing smiles. Ignoring how they seemed to eye his skin with distaste.
He would pretend that he didn’t hear whispers of how he would be the perfect Wayne if it wasn’t for his skin color.
He would pretend that it didn’t hurt because they didn’t say it right to his face.
But at school?
People didn’t try to hide what they thought of it.
They acted like everything they did to him was justified.
It didn’t help that Damian never tried to fit in with them. He distanced himself, speaking coldly to anyone that approached him.
The students began to dislike him pretty quickly. In their eyes, Damian should’ve felt lucky that they had even given him a chance.
In Damian’s eyes, they were racist. It wasn't that hard to tell. Everyone at the school was white— teachers, students, janitors— you name it. And from how they treated Damian on his first few days, they also had a white-savior mentality.
Growing up, Damian was taught the stereotypes people had regarding their race.
It wasn’t pretty.
Damian remembered staying up late in the small space he called home, wondering how people could assume such horrible things towards a group of people because of another man’s crime.
It wasn’t fair.
But even at his young age, Damian knew that nothing in life was fair.
And he accepted that.
So Damian stayed, pretending that he couldn’t break out of his peer’s grip. Max’s brown eyes met him maliciously.
He held his hand out and someone handed him Damian’s book.
“How much do you like this book?”
Damian refused to answer.
“Answer me, brat.”
“That book does not hold any value to me.” Damian spat out.
“I don’t believe you.”
Couldn’t he just get it over with?
Max glared at Damian, unsatisfied with his reaction. He threw the book on the ground as he stormed out, his goons quickly following.
Damian let out a sigh of relief as soon as they were out of sight. He picked up his book, inspecting it carefully.
He needed to make sure that the book was unharmed. It was the one thing that his mom had given him before she quickly tossed Damian away like trash.
Stupid. He scolded himself, you should’ve known better than to bring a prized possession to school.
The bell rang and he quickly hid the book in his backpack, not noticing how a girl pocketed her phone with narrowed eyes.
—
Damian would like to say that no one else bothered him for the rest of the day. But that would be a lie.
His lockers were filled with more sickening messages and everywhere he went, glares and whispers seemed to follow him.
He just wanted to go home.
He wanted to be Robin.
No, he needed to be Robin.
He just wanted to get away from the school.
He didn’t think that he bothered anyone today. All he did was defend himself against Max.
Was that so bad?
Everything we do seems to be bad. His heart couldn't help but whisper.
His brain didn’t argue.
It's getting better . . . right?
A small dive into how Damian’s life at school is.
